Ding Zhitong went to see Director Zhang to resign. Director Zhang was angry that Ding Zhitong would so easily give up the MD opportunity she had worked so hard for. But Ding Zhitong explained that she had thought it through. She thanked the company for its trust, but this time, she wanted to help the person she loved.

Ding Zhitong left the office with a smile, put on the shoes Gan Yang had given her, and boarded the plane with a beaming face. Due to traffic on the way, Ding Zhitong couldn’t wait any longer and was eager to see Gan Yang. So, she asked the driver to deliver her luggage while she ran off to find Gan Yang on foot. But Ding Zhitong had already sold her house and transferred the money to Xu Chenxi, afraid Gan Yang wouldn’t agree. She too wanted to gamble with him. When Gan Yang returned to the company, everyone expressed their desire to take the gamble with him. Gan Yang held out his hand, and everyone joined hands together, shouting with encouragement. After Langteng’s new shoes went on sale, the sales figures kept climbing. The first day alone set a new record.

Ding Zhitong hugged Gan Yang to congratulate him. Wang Yi prepared flowers and a ring to propose to Xu Chenxi. Gan Yang and Ding Zhitong clapped and cheered for the couple. Meanwhile, the training box project was completely messed up by Yuan Chao’s reckless management, a result he had to face himself. Ding Zhitong and Gan Yang stood in front of the new company building. At that moment, Wang Sen kicked Yuan Chao out due to the failure of the training box. A week later, the training box project went into liquidation, and Yuan Chao turned himself in. He was sentenced to five years in prison for infringing trade secrets. On the opening day of Ding & Qin Investment Company, Wang Sen came to offer his congratulations and hoped to collaborate with Ding Zhitong. But when he reached out his hand, Gan Yang quickly shook it before Ding Zhitong could, also expressing willingness to work together.

Ding Zhitong couldn’t help but laugh at his jealous reaction. Gan Yang and Ding Zhitong went for a run together. Gan Yang regretted suggesting the breakup—maybe things would’ve ended differently. But Ding Zhitong felt things were perfect now. She now had the ability to stand by Gan Yang’s side as his equal. Everyone joined them for a group run. But Gan Yang ran ahead first, preparing a romantic proposal.

He got down on one knee and held up a ring, asking if Ding Zhitong would marry him. With tears in her eyes and a smile on her face, she said yes. Song Mingmei placed a veil on her head. Gan Yang hugged Ding Zhitong tightly. Wang Yi and Xu Chenxi smiled at each other. Qin Chang held Song Mingmei in his arms. Everyone’s faces were lit with joy.

Gan Yang and Ding Zhitong held their wedding, and everyone came to offer blessings. Gan Yang made a heartfelt confession: back then, he didn’t know how to confess love—he just kept asking if she’d run with him. Later, they separated and went through so much, almost losing each other. But luckily, they ended up together. Being with Ding Zhitong was the happiest thing in his life. Ding Zhitong was in tears.
