Sensing his conflict, Ai Jing offered some philosophical advice, suggesting that instead of overthinking, he should make the choice that feels most comfortable and happy, as he likely already knew the answer in his heart.
After she left, Shen Zhe's thoughts returned to his dilemma: Wu Bai had tried to recruit him for the K&K team. Wu Bai's pitch was that joining K&K was Shen Zhe's only path to defeating Wang Hao and his team. Shen Zhe remained skeptical, pointing out K&K's lack of players and funds. But Wu Bai was unshakable in his belief, promising to lead him to a championship.

Upon arriving at Slide’s store, the old friends shared a warm reunion. Stepping outside, Wu Bai called his brother, Han Shangyan, to arrange for a car and couldn't resist relaying Ai Jing's comment, much to his brother's annoyance. The car took them to Ai Qing's apartment, where Wu Bai carried the heavily intoxicated Ai Qing upstairs. Inside, they were surprised to find their father awake. Wu Bai then carried Shen Zhe and 97 upstairs, while the driver took Slide home.
