The day before his wedding, Wu Bai meticulously ironed his suit and tie multiple times before finally going to bed. The next morning, he maintained his routine, going for a run and eagerly distributing wedding candies to everyone he met, happily sharing that he was marrying a girl he had loved for ten years. Upon returning home, he showered and joined his grandfather for breakfast.
Though his friends Shen Zhe and 97 were still sleeping, Wu Bai’s grandfather anxiously insisted they wake up. After the meal, Wu Bai donned his handsome groom's attire and, with his K&K teammates, set off to pick up his bride. Arriving downstairs at Ai Qing's home, Wu Bai and his K&K brothers saw that the SP team was already there, ready to block their path. Inside, Ai Qing, radiant in her wedding gown, felt a mix of excitement and nervousness.
She quickly borrowed Ai Jing's phone to watch a video of Wu Bai's arrival, noting how handsome he looked. Outside, Shen Zhe observed the SP members and warned Wu Bai that retrieving the bride would be a tough battle. As Wu Bai and his group approached the door, they were blocked by Ai Qing’s "bride's side"—her male best friends from SP. They demanded red envelopes as per tradition.
Shen Zhe offered one, but Slide signaled for the door to be shut, declaring it wasn't enough. After Shen Zhe offered a second, they still feigned dissatisfaction. Wu Bai then instructed him to give more, so Shen Zhe handed one to each of the five men. However, Slide brazenly snatched the remaining envelopes from Shen Zhe, claiming they needed to see more sincerity.
Upon finally entering, the group was stopped again by Ai Jing, who announced they needed to complete three tasks. The first was to finish a bowl of noodles within three minutes. Just as they were about to eat, Slide intervened, adding a generous amount of fiery chili to the noodles. Shen Zhe and his teammates took turns, struggling through the spicy challenge.
They then successfully passed the second task, which involved two people standing on paint cans and, without using their hands, finishing a biscuit in 30 seconds. The final challenge was a "three questions, three answers" test; any incorrect response meant they couldn't take the bride. The first question was about their first confession. Wu Bai correctly replied that he had confessed to her in Chicago. The second question was about their first argument.
Wu Bai explained it was at Wang Hao's old house because he feared she might not love him enough, which was also correct. For the final question, he was asked if he would always stand behind her and be her strongest support. Wu Bai unequivocally declared he would always be her strongest backing. With all questions answered correctly, he walked to Ai Qing and, amidst the thunderous applause of their friends, proudly carried his bride out of the room.
Later, the two couples, Han Shangyan and Tong Nian, and Wu Bai and Ai Qing, held a grand wedding ceremony. Before it began, a large screen displayed Wu Bai’s "journey of love," marking all the cities where his competitions had coincided with special memories he shared with Ai Qing. During the ceremony, the couples exchanged rings and the grooms kissed their brides. In the audience, Ai Qing’s grandfather watched, tears of joy on his face.
The host then asked who they thought would be next year's champion. Ai Qing immediately declared it would be SP, to the cheers of Wang Hao and the SP team. Han Shangyan chuckled, calling it a "dream." After his teammates urged him not to be a coward, Wu Bai smiled and said that for today, he would listen to his wife. After the wedding, Shen Zhe mistakenly gave Wu Bai and Han Shangyan the wrong room keys.
Wu Bai entered his suite only to find a bewildered Tong Nian, who was looking for Han Shangyan. Realizing the mix-up, Wu Bai rushed to Ai Qing’s room, where Wang Hao, Slide, and other SP members were still lingering. Ai Qing told them to leave, but they playfully pretended they wanted to tease the newlyweds. Ai Qing stopped them, and Slide grinned at Wu Bai, telling him to take good care of their best friend.
After they left, Wu Bai locked the door, wanting no more disturbances. He joyfully called her "wife," and she sweetly replied, "husband," before he picked her up and carried her into the bedroom. On another day, Bao Na cornered Wang Hao, demanding he fulfill his promise to go on ten blind dates.
Wang Hao tried to postpone, but Ou Qiang insisted it happen immediately and introduced Wang Hao to his own sister, watching with hope as the two began to chat. Later, K&K and SP celebrated together by a pool. When 97 declared K&K would win the championship again, Slide promptly pushed him into the water, retorting that SP would be the next champion.
This started a chain reaction, with Shen Zhe pushing Lin Yin in, and soon nearly everyone was in the pool. Only Wu Bai and Ai Qing remained on the side. The others called for Wu Bai to join them, but he laughed, saying his wife wouldn't be so cruel as to push him in.
While verbally agreeing with him, Ai Qing gave him a playful shove, sending him splashing into the water to the amusement of everyone, who then playfully splashed water at her. A new season of robot combat began, with K&K and SP once again the favorites. This time, Wu Bai found himself competing directly against Ai Qing. They and their teammates continued to pursue their dreams, dedicating themselves to the sport and writing new chapters of glory. This was their era.
