Following his confrontation with Han Shangyan, a distraught Wu Bai claimed to have a stomachache and left for home. Seeing his captain's distress, Shen Zhe instructed Wu Liao, the team's robot, to follow him. Meanwhile, Ai Jing found her sister Ai Qing asleep, clutching a tellurian and murmuring, "Sorry, Wu Bai, I really like you so much." Back at his home, Wu Bai’s grandfather was delighted by his unexpected return.
Upon learning Wu Bai had a stomachache, his grandfather anxiously searched for painkillers. Unable to find any, he decided to call Han Shangyan, only to find that Wu Liao had already placed the call. The grandfather sternly ordered Han Shangyan to return immediately and take Wu Bai to the hospital. Han Shangyan arrived and went to Wu Bai’s room.
He told Wu Bai that while an apology was out of the question, he had brought medicine out of concern for his younger brother, leaving it by the door. Not long after, Han Shangyan returned, complaining that their grandfather had forced him to brew traditional Chinese medicine all night. He insisted Wu Bai drink it, and when Wu Bai refused, he left the bowl by the door. Wu Bai eventually opened the door and took the medicine inside.
The next morning, Wu Bai’s worried teammates decided to draw lots to see who would visit him. Shen Zhe drew the shortest slip and reluctantly went to Wu Bai's home. The grandfather asked if Wu Bai had been wronged by the team, but Shen Zhe assured him that as captain, Wu Bai was untouchable. Grandpa then inquired if it was a romantic problem. Shen Zhe admitted that Wu Bai liked a girl but their relationship was not going smoothly.
He showed Ai Qing’s photo to the delighted grandfather, who praised her beauty. When Grandpa asked about the man beside her, Shen Zhe explained he was Wang Hao, Ai Qing’s ex-boyfriend. Grandpa began to fret about them reconciling, and his concern deepened when Shen Zhe explained Wang Hao's legendary industry status as "Solo of Creation," on par with Han Shangyan. Just then, Wu Bai emerged from his room and sarcastically remarked on Shen Zhe's idleness.
Taking the hint, Shen Zhe hastily excused himself. The grandfather then encouraged Wu Bai, assuring him that the girl would surely like him back. The next day, Ai Qing woke with a headache. Ai Jing revealed that Ai Qing had confessed her feelings for Wu Bai in her sleep and knew she had confronted him. Ai Jing advised that love, like a sneeze, cannot be suppressed, but Ai Qing insisted she must control her feelings before heading to work.
At SP, she introduced Team RAP, their upcoming opponent, detailing their strengths and weaknesses. She then rallied her team, using the success of SP’s younger Second Team as motivation and imploring them to pour all their effort into achieving a grand slam to conclude their professional careers. Inspired, the team vowed to secure a win in their next match. Later, as the new team leader, Ai Qing distributed red packets to the team.
Han Shangyan found her still working late, reminding her to eat and suggesting she shouldn't use work to distract herself from a heartbreak, a claim Ai Qing firmly denied. That afternoon, Ai Jing, expecting a food delivery, opened her door to find a young woman who introduced herself as Xing Zhouzhou, Shen Zhe’s ex-girlfriend. The news distressed Shen Zhe. At a gathering, 97 explained to his K&K teammates that Xing Zhouzhou had cheated on Shen Zhe three times.
When he tried to end the relationship, she refused and resorted to extreme public stunts—including kneeling, proposing, and feigning suicide—which almost destroyed Shen Zhe emotionally. During a call, Shen Zhe ordered her to leave Ai Jing’s home and simultaneously warned Ai Jing not to believe her. However, an incensed Ai Jing hung up after calling him a "love rat." Ai Qing worked through the night on tactics.
The next morning, Wang Hao, concerned for her, brought her breakfast and drove her home. Meanwhile, a determined Shen Zhe arrived at Ai Jing's apartment to explain about his ex-girlfriend. Furious, Ai Jing called him a "love rat" and denied having any relationship with him. She rejected his offer to have Wu Bai and 97 vouch for his innocence, scoffing that men always cover for each other.
As Shen Zhe pressed closer, Ai Jing backed away and tripped, accidentally tearing his shirt open in her panic. Mortified, she apologized, but he leaned in to kiss her. When she instinctively covered her mouth, Shen Zhe laughed, telling her that trick wouldn't work anymore. He then gently removed her hand and kissed her.
