Wen Xi informed Tong Xiaoyou about Lu Xingcheng and Jiang Yan. Drunkenly, Tong Xiaoyou intended to confront Lu Xingcheng and Jiang Yan to avenge Wen Xi. Song Ruru tried to stop her, but Wen Xi encouraged Tong Xiaoyou to go, confidently stating that Lu Xingcheng would ensure her safety, and followed them closely. Meanwhile, Jiang Yan was arranging flowers in Lu Xingcheng's studio. To prevent interruptions to their time together, she repeatedly ignored calls to Lu Xingcheng's phone.
Lu Xingcheng, observing from a corner, quickly noticed. He questioned Jiang Yan about hanging up his phone, to which Jiang Yan calmly replied that she didn't want insignificant matters to disturb him while he was busy. Tong Xiaoyou arrived at Lu Xingcheng's studio. Jiang Yan attempted to make her leave, but a defiant Tong Xiaoyou, fueled by alcohol, managed to drive Jiang Yan away instead. She then confessed her deep affection and longing for Lu Xingcheng.
Overwhelmed, Lu Xingcheng softly whispered back that he missed her too, but the heavily intoxicated Tong Xiaoyou did not hear his confession. Lu Xingcheng carried Tong Xiaoyou back home. She was deeply saddened because, while everyone else had dismissed the burning of her dress as unimportant, Lu Xingcheng had called her useless.
Tong Xiaoyou confided in him that she was terrified to tell her father about the dress, fearing his disappointment, especially since he had rarely supported her design ambitions before. She also mentioned her promise to get him Ye Mang's signature. Lu Xingcheng, seeing her distress, sincerely apologized and reassured her that her father would not be disappointed and that she had done a great job. Before leaving, Lu Xingcheng entrusted Tong Xiaoyou to Song Ruru's care.
He told Song Ruru that he would prepare a dress for Tong Xiaoyou so she could attend Ye Mang's 30th Anniversary Celebration the next day. Later, Lu Xingcheng visited Tong Xiaoyou's parents, bringing fruit and a handwritten autograph from Ms. Ye Mang. His thoughtful gestures quickly charmed and delighted her parents. The next morning, Song Ruru excitedly questioned a groggy Tong Xiaoyou about the previous night.

Lu Yanzhi gave Tong Xiaoyou the last piece, suggesting she should have the joy of completing it. Meanwhile, Chengpeiyu and Lu Ren arrived at the celebration. Chengpeiyu, in an interview, credited her husband for her success, highlighting his role as her strongest support and influencing Lu Yanzhi to become an excellent designer. Inside, Wen Xi and Jiang Yan encountered each other, both wearing similar jewelry. To avoid awkwardness, Wen Xi assertively removed her earrings.
Chengpeiyu approached Wen Xi, reminding her that this was a prime opportunity to clear her name. Wen Xi, however, stated that she would clear her name but not today. Their conversation was overheard by Mu Yang, who then reassured Wen Xi that he would always stand by her, no matter what happened. Later, Wen Xi, in a dressing room, wiped away tears and practiced smiling. Sarah Lin sought out Mu Yang, aiming to use him to discredit Lu Xingcheng.
She claimed that Lu Xingcheng was responsible for Wen Xi losing her job due to a scandalous rumor and offered Mu Yang a chance to get revenge for Wen Xi. However, Mu Yang rejected her proposal, stating that despite their differences, he believed Lu Xingcheng was not capable of such actions and warned Sarah Lin against her schemes. This conversation was overheard by Dali. Dali tried to warn Lu Xingcheng, but Sarah Lin quickly cornered him.
Unable to directly contact Lu Xingcheng, Dali called Tong Xiaoyou for help. He explained that Sarah Lin and Mu Yang were plotting against Lu Xingcheng and revealed that Lu Xingcheng had taken the blame for their cohabitation rumors in the past to protect her. Upon learning this, Tong Xiaoyou immediately rushed to the event, but her journey was hampered by heavy traffic.
As the spotlight focused on Ye Mang, elegantly dressed in Lu Xingcheng's ingeniously designed gown, Sarah Lin and Chengpeiyu watched from the side, united in their apparent desire to see Lu Xingcheng's reputation tarnished. Despite the traffic, Tong Xiaoyou, overwhelmed with worry for Lu Xingcheng, got out of the car and ran towards the celebration venue. She managed to gain entry with Dali's help, who vouched for her to the security, despite her informal attire.
Just as Ye Mang was expressing her gratitude to Lu Xingcheng for his exceptional design and inviting him onto the stage, Sarah Lin abruptly interjected, publicly asking Lu Xingcheng for his opinion on plagiarism.
