However, Long Mohua had already promised to be the Lang family's Peach Blossom Fairy and strongly rejected Shi Diwen's offer. Meanwhile, Lang Yuexuan worked day and night developing the "Wild Goose Rouge."
He found its scent lacked purity and still had a "firework scent," leading him to switch from hardwood charcoal to "diamond wood," though he still felt it wasn't perfect. Seeing Feng Chunyan's displeasure, Miaolan seized the opportunity to fan the flames, mentioning Gu Haitang's role as the replacement flower fairy and speaking ill of her. In other events, Long Deshui's favorite concubine, Hong Xiu, became pregnant.
