After Qiu Qingzhi died, Li Bing recalled the details of their meeting in their youth and couldn't help but feel immense sadness. Yi Zhi Hua felt a strong sense of defeat because Qiu Qingzhi did not suck human blood as he had expected. In the end, he had meticulously orchestrated an absurd game. As he prepared to leave Court of Judicial Review, Sun Bao and Xu Hu stopped him.

They started fighting, and after a while, Sun Bao and Xu Hu became overwhelmed. Li Bing put down Qiu Qingzhi's body, turning grief and indignation into strength, and fought Yi Zhi Hua with all his might. Wang Qi told Chen Shi to escape first, while he and Cui Bei were captured by Lai Zhongshu. Lai Zhongshu reported back to Yong'an Pavilion that he had captured most of the members of Mingjing Hall, with only Chen Shi still at large, who was unlikely to pose a threat.

The head elder of Yong'an Pavilion, seeing that Lai Zhongshu's mission was complete, ordered an assassin to slit Lai Zhongshu's throat, preparing to use his blood to awaken Yi Zhi Hua. Chen Shi hid and dodged in the streets but was still discovered by the pursuers. As he desperately fled, the carriage driver, Old Gu, pulled Chen Shi onto his carriage and took him back to his home.

Although Chen Shi was temporarily safe, he constantly worried about the other members of Mingjing Hall. He felt he should do something and suddenly thought he could write down the truth so that the common people, after learning the truth, could go to Yong'an Pavilion together to rescue his Mingjing Hall brothers. After writing down the truth, Chen Shi distributed it everywhere. People swarmed in, following Chen Shi and breaking into the Yong'an Pavilion dungeon.

The soldiers could not resist and had no choice but to let the people rescue Li Bing and his Mingjing Hall brothers. Yi Zhi Hua was taken to the sacrificial site. The Yong'an Pavilion elder took out the dagger. Yi Zhi Hua discovered that the Fengsheng Stone was missing from the dagger. That was the medicinal catalyst he had been searching for to turn himself back into a normal person.

For years, being treated as a monster was the greatest pain in Yi Zhi Hua's heart. The Yong'an Pavilion elder had no idea of the Fengsheng Stone's effect. Li Bing arrived at the scene and took out the purse Qiu Qingzhi had given him before he died. Inside was the Fengsheng Stone. Qiu Qingzhi had found the Fengsheng Stone ahead of Yi Zhi Hua and left it behind at the cost of his own life.

Li Bing said he could give Yi Zhi Hua the Fengsheng Stone to help him become a normal person. Yi Zhi Hua didn't believe him at all, because Li Bing also needed the Fengsheng Stone to get rid of his cat demon identity. Li Bing told Yi Zhi Hua that no matter if he was a person or a cat, he would always be loyal to justice and distinguish right from wrong.

And the reason Qiu Qingzhi was able to subdue Yi Zhi Hua twice when he first discovered him was that he was not afraid of Yi Zhi Hua at all from the bottom of his heart. He did not see him as a monster, only as a pitiful person who had been isolated. The Yong'an Pavilion elders were all captured for instigating the national war. Yi Zhi Hua finally realized that what he needed most was to be understood.
