After the carriage traveled for a while, Shangguan Lian realized the route was not towards the pier, understood he was being tricked by Qiu Qingzhi, and jumped off the carriage to hide. Soon, assassins surrounded the carriage and fiercely fought with Shangguan Lian. Li Bing brought Sun Bao to rescue him and brought Shangguan Lian back.
