Xu Tian, drunk and disheveled, was brought to the police station. The police sternly asked who had been driving. Jia Xiaoduo became nervous and quickly stood up, saying she had been riding an electric scooter and brought Xu Tian there. When it came time to sign, she absentmindedly signed Xu Tian’s name. Realizing the mistake afterward, she was shocked and quickly explained she thought it had to be signed as Xu Tian, then changed it to her own name.

When asked about their relationship, Jia Xiaoduo answered that they were friends. Jia Xiaoduo and Xu Tian stepped out of the police station, not realizing that Tie Lin had already been lying in wait. Jia Xiaoduo sharply sensed danger and suddenly halted her steps. At that moment, Xu Tian leaned in, trying to kiss her. Xu Tian then committed suicide in the game, and the virtual world ended. Xu Tian entered an elevator and casually glanced at the mirror, only to be horrified to see that his reflection had become Jia Xiaoduo. He instantly felt his scalp go numb, his legs weak, but still couldn’t help cautiously moving closer to take a look. When he reached the 11th floor and asked Shi Yiben, he learned that he had truly become the female Jia Xiaoduo. In a rage, he began smashing things to vent his frustration, his manic appearance strangely resembling Tie Lin. Afterward, he was taken to the police station. Like Xu Tian before, he picked up an umbrella and walked out the door, recalling the night before when he and Xu Tian had stood there—now only he remained, all alone.

Jia Xiaoduo returned alone to Room 1101, each step cautious and full of anxiety, hesitant to open the door. When she finally mustered the courage to turn on the light and looked at the furnishings inside, it felt like a completely unfamiliar place. She found the walls covered in sticky notes. Just as she was feeling confused, a call came from the hospital, reminding her of an appointment she had no memory of.

At that moment, a note suddenly fell, as if some mysterious force was communicating with her. Then familiar music began to play—it was Xu Tian’s favorite song. The hot water in the bathroom turned on by itself. Everything seemed pre-arranged, maintaining the rhythm of her former life. To stay awake, she recorded herself each night, reminding herself: she was Xu Tian, not Jia Xiaoduo. Carrying anxiety and unease, Jia Xiaoduo headed to the hospital.

Along the way, she kept playing her recordings. That voice was like an invisible rope, tightly binding her, constantly reminding her not to lose her so-called "self. " Finally entering the consultation room, her heart was pounding and her palms were sweating. When the doctor walked in, her eyes widened in surprise—it was Shi Yiben. Shi Yiben heard the looped recording on her phone and realized she had been insisting she was Xu Tian.

But Xu Tian had already died in the virtual world. Jia Xiaoduo’s phone still had Xu Tian’s rideshare contact—she wanted to book a ride, yet feared he was truly gone forever. At that moment, Jia Xiaoduo became emotionally agitated, firmly insisting she was Xu Tian. She questioned Shi Yiben why she became Jia Xiaoduo after Xu Tian died in the game.

Shi Yiben patiently explained that her body had originally housed four personalities: Liu Tiaoer, Tie Lin, Wang Yangming, and Yu Dan—now only Tie Lin remained. But Jia Xiaoduo wouldn’t listen. She firmly believed she was still in the virtual space. Furious, she turned and stormed out of the consultation room.
