Jia Xiaoduo narrowly escaped danger and entered another carriage alone, where she happened to run into Yu Dan. Jia Xiaoduo refused because she was entirely focused on her task, and the countdown showed there wasn’t much time left. Yu Dan, wearing earmuffs, said he was afraid of hearing harsh noises.

He had been waiting coolly in that place for three years, just for a reply from his mother. After hearing this, Jia Xiaoduo suggested he check the mailbox—perhaps the letter had already arrived. Jia Xiaoduo searched around and found the key to open the mailbox. Letters spilled out, but among the pile, there was none from Yu Dan's mother.

Yu Dan revealed his mother’s address, and with time running out, Jia Xiaoduo hurriedly wrote a letter pretending to be from his mother, hoping Yu Dan would leave with her. However, Yu Dan insisted Jia Xiaoduo read the letter. Jia Xiaoduo racked her brain and made up something on the spot. That carriage was about to be destroyed, yet Yu Dan still showed no intention of leaving.

Helpless, Jia Xiaoduo had no choice but to leave him behind and leaped to the next carriage, while Yu Dan fell off the cliff along with the train car. Jia Xiaoduo mustered the courage to open another carriage door and was greeted by someone named Liu Tiaoer. She cautiously looked around while Liu Tiaoer was focused on painting the walls. Jia Xiaoduo pulled out takeout from the table and suggested she take a break.

With only five minutes left, Jia Xiaoduo hoped Liu Tiaoer would quickly express her needs. Liu Tiaoer suffered from agoraphobia—any close contact with others would leave her gasping for air. She had ordered takeout on the train, and not long after, a delivery person actually showed up. At the same time, the sound of the train running disappeared—this place had turned into Xinyuanli Neighborhood, which was Jia Xiaoduo’s real neighborhood.

Xu Tian often drove her home and was naturally familiar with the place. Seeing that her time was up, Jia Xiaoduo knew the goal of this journey was to find the real Jia Xiaoduo, so she left Liu Tiaoer behind and decisively leapt to the next carriage. Liu Tiaoer walked out of the carriage and jumped into the sea, vanishing without a trace. Xu Tian opened the carriage door again and found someone named Tie Lin waiting for him.

Xu Tian asked what he needed, but Tie Lin refused to communicate and was extremely forceful, even trying to drive Xu Tian away. As time ran out, the train was instantly buried by an avalanche, and Xu Tian slowly awakened from the illusion. Overjoyed at his unexpected rebirth, he saw that Jia Xiaoduo had just requested his ride for the 18th time. Xu Tian quickly fixed his appearance and rushed to the destination.

That night, Xu Tian arrived downstairs at Jia Xiaoduo’s place. Wang Yangming got into the car and showed Xu Tian Jia Xiaoduo’s medical records, which documented her mental illness. Everything that happened the previous night had been meticulously planned by Jia Xiaoduo. Xu Tian wanted to know the truth, so he followed Wang Yangming to a location where Wang Yangming showed him video evidence of Jia Xiaoduo’s episodes, proving he was telling the truth.

In the video, Jia Xiaoduo told Wang Yangming that she always felt she and Xu Tian were the same person. After watching the video, Xu Tian still did not give up on Jia Xiaoduo and entered the illusion with him. This time, he did not turn into Jia Xiaoduo.
