Luo Li visited Grandpa Qingya to bid him farewell. Luo Qingya, who had watched her grow up, understood her thoughts and was saddened by her decision to leave the Luo God Clan. Luo Li explained that Mu Chen was their last hope, as only he could stop the Evil Deity. She believed the Luo God Clan could not remain neutral, stating, "No one is safe now. Luo God Clan won’t stay out of it."

Luo Qingya, though heartbroken, allowed her to go, reminding her that the Luo God Clan would always be her home. Xuan Tong wanted to accompany Luo Li to the Tailing Ancient Clan, but Luo Li, not wanting him to risk it again, knocked him unconscious. Luo Li then journeyed alone towards the Tailing Ancient Clan. She located the core of their hidden Mist Circle and, after multiple attempts, managed to activate it with her spiritual power.

Upon entering the ancient clan's territory, she was met by a member, whom she informed she was from the Luo God Clan. The clan member expressed surprise, noting they hadn't seen an outsider in thousands of years. Luo Li inquired about their leader, learning that the clan had no leader but was guided by Grand Master Tailing. She asked to be introduced to him.

She soon met Grand Master Tailing and, without pretense, explained her urgent request to borrow the Firmament Rank. Grand Master Tailing asked how she knew of it, to which Luo Li replied she was informed by Qing Yanjing, the Goddess of Futu Clan. She explained her limited knowledge of the Firmament Rank, describing it as a conduit for natural spiritual energy, guarded by the Tailing Ancient Clan.

When pressed for her true motive, Luo Li stated she sought it "to save someone" and had no ill intent. Grand Master Tailing sensed her pure spiritual power, devoid of any evilness, and believed her. However, he emphasized the sacredness and difficulty of the Firmament Rank, saying that leaving a name on it would depend on her destiny.

Noting Luo Li's injured spiritual veins, Grand Master Tailing warned her against forcefully climbing the sacred mountain, urging her to cherish her life. Despite the warning, Luo Li persisted. She endured the arduous climb, telling herself, "Heaven favors me. How can I give up?" She reached the summit and saw the Firmament Rank but struggled to activate it, trying multiple times and experiencing its immense power.

She silently urged Mu Chen to wake up, expressing her frustration and her determination to make him pay her back for her efforts. Meanwhile, Tang Qian'er awakened and attempted to leave, but Liu Mubai restrained her. He warned of the dangers outside and stressed the baby's safety. He promised to protect them both but admitted his limited power to keep them safe within the Heaven Palace alone.

Tang Qian'er rebuffed him, stating that if she needed his protection, she wouldn't have kept her pregnancy a secret from him. She declared that her safety and the baby's fate were no longer his concern. Ignoring her pleas, Liu Mubai forcibly made her consume a medicine and then sealed her in her room. At the Freezing Lake, Jiu You struggled against the harsh cold.

She was astonished that the water could freeze even her Phoenix fire, wondering how long her Undying Fire could resist it. She communicated mentally with Mu Chen, telling him she was "an inch away" from the Holiness Elixir but found the cold overwhelming. She jokingly complained about having to risk her life for him despite their past quarrels but vowed, "I won’t let you die. Your life is mine." She promised he would recover and pay her back.

Back at the Tailing Ancient Clan, Grand Master Tailing informed Luo Li that her talent, while good, was insufficient to leave a name on the Firmament Rank. He revealed that her spiritual power had failed on the initial ascent, and only the illusion of the Spirit of Luo, manifested from her God Vein, had protected her. He expressed surprise at her possessing a God Vein and questioned why she would risk such a fated gift.

Luo Li reiterated her determination "to save an important person" "at any price." Grand Master Tailing then proposed that she become the Goddess of the Tailing Ancient Clan. He explained that her current spiritual power was too weak to activate the Firmament Rank, but if she integrated her Luo God Clan God Vein with that of the Tailing Ancient Clan, she might succeed in leaving her name.

Luo Li expressed her conflict, being the Saintess of the Luo God Clan and responsible for its revival and the inheritance of its God Vein. Grand Master Tailing acknowledged the trade-off, offering slower alternatives like decades of cultivation but questioning if she had the time. He assured her that a unified Tailing Ancient Clan under her leadership would protect the Luo God Clan, and they would ally against Evil Deity.

He cautioned her that accepting the inheritance was a difficult process, requiring her to sever all emotional attachments and voluntarily abandon all memories to succeed, though the memory loss would only occur during her crowning, not immediately. He offered her time to consider. After careful thought, Luo Li agreed to Grand Master Tailing's proposal.

However, she imposed a condition: if she became the Tailing Ancient Clan Goddess, the clan must open its barrier, interact with other clans, and unite to resist the Evil Deity. Grand Master Tailing accepted her condition, welcoming her as the future Goddess of the Tailing Ancient Clan. After a day of arduous effort, her two God Veins successfully integrated, enveloped by a powerful light.

Grand Master Tailing declared that after thousands of years, the one capable of inheriting the God Vein had finally appeared. Luo Li successfully left her name on the Firmament Rank. Meanwhile, Mu Feng anxiously watched over Mu Chen. Bei Ming Long Kun had earlier stated that Mu Chen's survival was a miracle and that only the recovery of his spiritual veins or the Holiness Elixir could save him.

Just then, Jiu You returned with the Holiness Elixir, severely injured and collapsing after Mu Chen consumed it. Bei Ming Long Kun examined Jiu You, finding minor external injuries and damaged spiritual veins due to cold poison but nothing life-threatening, and instructed her to rest. Upon administering the elixir, Mu Chen's pulse began to stabilize and his spiritual veins showed signs of recovery. A golden light, emanating from the Firmament Rank, enveloped Mu Chen.

Bei Ming Long Kun confirmed this light was indeed the Firmament Rank, similar to when the Heaven Emperor (Tian Di) left his name on it. He announced that Mu Chen's spiritual veins were recovering and that from now on, he could absorb energy from all creation. Grand Master Tailing congratulated Luo Li on accepting Heaven's will. Luo Li stated her intention to return to the Luo God Clan to hand over her leadership.

Grand Master Tailing found this reasonable and urged her to return quickly. He granted her permission to see anyone she wished before she left, so she would have no regrets. Luo Li visited the still-unconscious Mu Chen. She asked Mu Feng and Jiu You to leave them alone for a while. As she sat by his side, she was reminded of Grand Master Tailing's warning about severing all emotional ties and memories.

Tears welled up as she wished she could stay with Mu Chen forever, before silently placing their Jiezi Coin on his chest. After her visit, Luo Li informed Mu Feng and Jiu You that she was leaving. She explained that her own power was insufficient, so she had integrated two God Veins to leave her mark on the Firmament Rank.

As a result, she had accepted the Tailing Ancient Clan's inheritance and would soon be officially crowned as their Goddess, requiring her to reside there permanently. Jiu You questioned if there was any room for negotiation, but Luo Li asserted that she had already given her promise.

She requested that they not tell Mu Chen of her visit after he awoke, and hoped he would forget her, as she would soon lose all her memories as part of the ceremony, becoming estranged from everyone in the Great Thousand World. Jiu You and Mu Feng were distressed, highlighting the cruelty this would inflict on Mu Chen.

Luo Li revealed that Grand Master Tailing had promised that once she became Goddess, the Tailing Ancient Clan would ally with other clans to fight against the Evil Deity. Despite their concerns, Luo Li insisted, "He will understand me." Mu Feng gave her the Mu Yu’s token, an alliance artifact that allowed communication over long distances. He asked if she regretted her choice, and Luo Li simply replied, "I don’t regret."

Luo Li then returned to the Luo God Clan to confront Luo Qingya, who angrily demanded she withdraw her resignation as Saintess and Clan Leader. He reminded her how long the clan had waited for her return, only for her to come back just to leave again. Luo Li reiterated that she was now the Tailing Ancient Clan Goddess and had no choice but to depart. Luo Qingya countered that she was also the Saintess of the Luo God Clan.

Sensing her deeper reasons, he stated he would never have allowed her to leave if he had known she intended to resign her position. Luo Li explained that with the "eight eyes showing up" and the Evil Deity's imminent revival, she had no alternative. Her actions were necessary to leave her name on the Firmament Rank and save the entire Great Thousand World.

She requested that Grandpa Qingya (Luo Qingya) formally succeed her as the Luo God Clan Leader after her departure. Luo Qingya acknowledged that her actions served justice and the greater good but were a betrayal to the Luo God Clan. Luo Li admitted her profound guilt, stating she had no other choice and felt ashamed to be the Saintess of the Luo God Clan.
