Ye Qi took Zuo Qiandai to a café, under the pretense of collecting material, but it was actually a date. Zuo Qiandai was secretly excited. Just as the two were about to enter the café, Chai Ziyu suddenly showed up. They guessed that it was Chai Ziyu’s first time in such a setting and that he had been waiting for them to arrive to muster up the courage to go in.
Being seen through made Chai Ziyu feel a little embarrassed. After the three entered the café, Ye Qi, still pretending to be collecting material, assigned roles to all three of them. Chai Ziyu suggested that Ye Qi and Zuo Qiandai call each other by more intimate nicknames, and though both felt awkward, they complied.
Since Lu Dao had to act out the painful feeling of having a crush, Ye Qi helped her by suggesting she ignore Gu Zhengxing for three days to experience the pain. But before the three days were up, Lu Dao already felt the pain deeply. When she saw Gu Zhengxing, she quickly walked away. When it came time to order, Ye Qi assumed that most girls would eat lightly in front of their boyfriend to maintain their image.
However, Zuo Qiandai ordered a lot of food, which disappointed Ye Qi. He thought she didn’t want to date him and didn’t care about her image. Still, he took great care of her. In reality, Zuo Qiandai had deliberately ordered a lot to give Ye Qi more inspiration, and she forced herself to eat much more than usual. Both Ye Qi and Zuo Qiandai tried to find each other’s good qualities.
Watching this, Chai Ziyu felt a bit awkward, but Ye Qi and Zuo Qiandai were both delighted, feeling that they truly understood each other. Ye Qi suddenly asked Zuo Qiandai if she liked someone. Zuo Qiandai didn’t know how to answer, afraid that saying the wrong thing might lead to a misunderstanding. Just as she was about to respond, both Ye Qi and Chai Ziyu looked at her with anticipation. Suddenly, Zuo Qiandai felt nauseated and ran to the restroom.
While she was gone, Ye Qi and Chai Ziyu encountered a drunken Lu Dao. Seeing her in so much pain, Ye Qi realized she had already reached the emotional depth needed, so she no longer had to endure the full three days. Lu Dao, learning she could talk to Gu Zhengxing again, immediately rushed to the drama club to find him, only to run into Jiang Ruosong performing on stage. At first, Jiang Ruosong’s performance wasn’t very good.
Everyone encouraged him and even gave him a black blindfold to wear. After putting it on, Jiang Ruosong's performance became powerful and deeply moving, earning everyone's approval. However, the problem was that he couldn’t switch back to a normal role afterward, which worried everyone. Jiang Ruosong took the opportunity while still wearing the blindfold to find Zhou Jieyue. Just as he was about to distance himself from her, three male classmates suddenly tackled him.
His blindfold fell to the ground, and all his previous courage vanished. He no longer dared to speak to Zhou Jieyue like before. Ye Qi and Zuo Qiandai sat in the stands, enjoying the evening breeze. After a full day, Ye Qi had gathered a lot of new material. While they were discussing it, Ye Qi suddenly asked what kind of story the two of them were in.
Zuo Qiandai’s heart skipped a beat, and even the heart rate monitor bracelet she wore started going off. She quickly took it off and ran away, while Ye Qi thought her heart was racing because she had eaten too many sweets. That night, back at home, Ye Qi was inspired by a sweet romantic drama and decided that to be with Zuo Qiandai forever, he first had to stay healthy.
He became very concerned about Zuo Qiandai’s health, constantly checking on her. But his attention made Zuo Qiandai feel awkward. His concern came day and night, leaving Zuo Qiandai sleep-deprived and with dark circles under her eyes—ironically making her less healthy.
