When Ye Qi said he wanted to take everyone on a team-building trip, Chai Ziyu and Zuo Qiandai were happy again—until they heard it involved traditional Chinese massage. Disappointment returned. Just as she said this, some seaweed landed on Ye Qi’s head—it turned out Zhou Jieyue had thrown it. Jiang Ruosong had gotten pricked by the seaweed, and Zhou Jieyue helped him remove it, then angrily threw it away, accidentally hitting Ye Qi. Zhou Jieyue interrupted Ye Qi and Zuo Qiandai’s conversation just as Gu Zhengxing and Chai Ziyu were about to go kayaking and invited Ye Qi to join.
Zhou Jieyue saw that Jiang Ruosong couldn’t participate due to his injury while the three guys were having fun, and she felt upset. She deliberately went up to greet them and secretly poked a hole in their kayak with a needle. While the three men were paddling, the kayak started slowly deflating, leaving them confused. From the shore, Zuo Qiandai casually commented, “If you open the valve, it’ll sink faster,” which inspired Zhou Jieyue.
She dove underwater, opened the valve, and the kayak instantly sank. That night, Jiang Ruosong and Gu Zhengxing both fell asleep on beach loungers. Lu Chen came by and secretly took a photo with Gu Zhengxing. Zhou Jieyue came to look for Jiang Ruosong, but he was asleep and listening to music, barely acknowledging her. Annoyed, she turned up the music volume to wake him up.
Ye Qi and Zuo Qiandai came to a fish stall, where the vendor claimed the fish were "couple fish" and could only be bought in pairs. After they left, the angry Zhou Jieyue and Jiang Ruosong passed by. When Zhou Jieyue heard that these were all couples who ended up together, she furiously asked the vendor for a net and separated all the fish that were in pairs. That night on the beach, the three couples were all reaching out to each other.
