Linda arrived on Peixin Island, handing over the guests from Team B to Jin Ran with a sarcastic tone. She then departed with her own guests from Team A. The trial customers in Jin Ran's group expressed their excitement, mentioning they had heard that their accommodations would be in five-star hotels. Aware of the looming hotel problem, Jin Ran arranged for Zhao Chengzhi and Xinyi to engage with the customers, buying time while Yuan Lai searched for available hotels.

Yuan Lai called Jin Ran, confirming that no hotels could be booked. She suggested that Jin Ran approach Ji Aoting directly to negotiate for hotel resources, emphasizing that customer satisfaction was paramount, regardless of the competition's outcome. Linda, meanwhile, checked her team into the luxurious Wanyue Hotel.

In Jin Ran's group, a guest named Mrs. Liu complained, noting that her friend had already checked into a five-star hotel while they still had no accommodation, and voiced concerns about staying in a common guesthouse. At this point, Yuan Lai spotted some unused sea cabins, and an idea sparked. She promptly arranged for workers to quickly prepare them as alternative lodging.

Ji Aoting later arrived at the Wanyue Hotel and reprimanded Linda for simply handing over the guests to the hotel staff without further involvement. Jin Ran led his customers to the newly arranged sea cabins. Despite their initial surprise, the guests found the unique, on-sea accommodation to be a novel experience. The team rallied together to help: Ding Ang addressed the poor 4G signal by cleverly naming the Wi-Fi "Will you be my girlfriend."

Everyone playfully urged Xinyi to input the password. Xinyi tried "I do," but it was incorrect, to her confusion. Ding Ang then revealed the password was "haode," which was met with laughter from the group. Meanwhile, in Ji Aoting's group, guests were taken to an old and expensive seafood market where the seafood was not fresh.

Mrs. Liu's friend, Mrs. Zhang, called Mrs. Liu, complaining about their incredibly boring itinerary and expressing envy over Mrs. Liu's authentic photos from Jin Ran's group. Late that night, Linda, dressed provocatively, attempted to approach Ji Aoting but he dismissed her, uninterested. The next morning, Zhao Chengzhi brought local specialty breakfast for the team. Mrs. Liu mentioned her back was sore from sleeping in the cabins.

Yuan Lai offered to arrange a local ancient-style massage for her, but Mrs. Liu also wanted to take photos and still insisted on a five-star hotel. Yuan Lai reassured her that the sea cabins were just an experience and that a proper solution for their accommodation would be found. Jin Ran and Yuan Lai then arranged paragliding for the guests. Ding Ang helped Xinyi with her gear, and their relationship grew closer.

Xinyi, despite being scared, initially refused to admit it. When they were in the air, Xinyi screamed in fear, and Ding Ang responded by kissing her, a moment that visibly advanced their relationship. Elsewhere, Jin Ran visited the local guesthouse owner, bringing fine tea. The owner remained firm in his refusal for early check-in. Noticing a chessboard, Jin Ran challenged the owner to a game.

As they played, they discussed life philosophies, and Jin Ran's "adventurous" playing style led him to a victory, winning over the owner's appreciation. Ji Aoting had instructed Mr. Chen, the Wanyue Hotel manager, to ensure his guests were well-treated. However, his team's guests were far from satisfied and demanded refunds. Linda struggled to calm them, and Mrs. Zhang pointedly contrasted Linda's handling of the situation with Yuan Lai's attentive service.

Stung by the comparison, Linda impulsively agreed to Mrs. Zhang's request to go diving. Later, Yuan Lai called Ji Aoting directly to confront him about booking all the five-star hotels on the island. Ji Aoting openly admitted it was a strategic move, claiming he merely helped friends from large travel agencies book team rooms, effectively killing two birds with one stone in the competition. Yuan Lai expressed her profound disappointment.

Just then, Jin Ran called Yuan Lai with good news: he had successfully secured accommodation for their guests, and everyone was overjoyed. The guesthouse owner later revealed to Jin Ran that he had discerned Jin Ran's true purpose from his aggressive chess moves and was impressed by his subsequent candor. While everyone relaxed, Zhao Chengzhi jokingly suggested Ding Ang and Xinyi share a room, which Xinyi vehemently rejected.

Chengzhi continued to tease, warning Ding Ang about Xinyi's temper and offering to introduce him to other women. Yuan Lai playfully turned the tables, prompting Xinyi to consider Chengzhi's proposal, and Xinyi joked about pitying Zhao Chengzhi instead. Tragically, Mrs. Zhang suffered a heart attack during her dive. A furious Ji Aoting immediately fired Linda. Yuan Lai thanked Jin Ran for his efforts, and they discussed Ji Aoting's tactics.

Jin Ran questioned how Ji Aoting would cover the substantial hotel expenses incurred by monopolizing the island's accommodations. At that moment, Zhao Chengzhi arrived with urgent news: Feitu had terminated all tour guide contracts related to the Peixin Island routes. Yuan Lai was shocked and angered by this development. Jin Ran, however, had anticipated this move.

He instructed Zhao Chengzhi to notify all laid-off employees and tour guides to immediately come to Peixin Island, hinting that they would soon have a new purpose. Later that evening, at a bar, Zhao Chengzhi sat alone, drinking heavily, disheartened by the increasing intimacy between Jin Ran and Yuan Lai. He showed no interest even when Fei called, attempting to set him up with Yuan Lai. Meanwhile, Ding Ang sweetly pressed Xinyi to acknowledge him as her boyfriend.

They finally cleared up a long-standing misunderstanding: Xinyi confessed she had attended Ding Ang's 20th birthday but had left prematurely, feeling humiliated by the condescending attitude of his wealthy friends. Ding Ang vowed to protect her, ensuring no one would ever look down on her again. Xinyi, in turn, explained that her relentless efforts over the years were her way of feeling worthy of his affection. The five friends then played Truth or Dare.

When it was Ding Ang's turn, he chose "truth" and openly admitted he had liked Xinyi since their university days, prompting good-natured teasing from the others. Next, the bottle pointed to Jin Ran. He designated Yuan Lai to ask him a question, but she declined. Xinyi then seized the opportunity to directly question Jin Ran about his relationship with an older woman five years ago while he was abroad.

Yuan Lai revealed that she had visited him in Japan and had seen him with this woman, making her believe he had lied to her. Jin Ran, however, asserted his conscience was clear. He explained that the woman was Alex's mother and a significant talent scout who had helped him greatly during a difficult period. He had only concealed his struggles from Yuan Lai to prevent her from worrying.

Jin Ran then reiterated his desire to start anew with Yuan Lai, stating that she was the reason for his return. The others discreetly left them alone, but despite Jin Ran's heartfelt plea, Yuan Lai once again rejected him.
