The team members of Dingran Team approached Xinyi for help, revealing the team was in a dire situation. They explained that they didn't know what to do and turned to her because DNX was the team Ding Ang cared about most during his lifetime. Xinyi, affirming that Dingran Team was Ding Ang's painstaking effort, resolved not to let it dissolve and decided to take charge.

She then gave the team a tactical disc, and everyone worked hard together, achieving initial victories. Xinyi later spoke with Yuan Lai, confirming her decision to continue Ding Ang's legacy by leading the Dingran Team and winning upcoming games. Yuan Lai expressed her concern for Xinyi, worrying that being surrounded by Ding Ang's belongings might trigger old grief, but Xinyi asserted her resolve to focus on the team's future and upcoming matches, emphasizing she had no time for sadness.

The conversation then shifted to Chu Yun, whom Xinyi had recently met. Xinyi mentioned that Chu Yun had confessed nothing happened between her and Ding Ang and had returned Ding Ang's CD, leading Xinyi to forgive her, believing Chu Yun had learned her lesson.

However, Xinyi harbored doubts, telling Yuan Lai that Chu Yun, despite her vengeful nature, was too young and inexperienced to orchestrate such elaborate schemes—like deliberately approaching Shuangshuang, joining Ding Ang's team to sabotage Xinyi and Ding Ang's relationship, framing Chengzhi, and repeatedly trying to drive Jin Ran and Yuan Lai apart. Xinyi suspected that someone else was manipulating Chu Yun from behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, Jin Ran was working when he mistakenly thought Yuan Lai had entered his office, happily talking about going to eat after he finished work. To his surprise, it was Gu Sa. Jin Ran, noting she should be recovering in the hospital, directly confronted her, asking if her intention was to destroy Feitu. Gu Sa inquired who had informed him, but Jin Ran dismissed the question as irrelevant, demanding to know if the accusations were true.

Gu Sa admitted that everything was indeed true. Simultaneously, Yuan Lai pieced together Xinyi's earlier suspicions about Chu Yun having a mastermind and the current difficulties facing Feitu. She recalled that Chu Yun had previously implicated Gu Sa when they were collecting evidence for Chengzhi, a claim Yuan Lai had initially dismissed as a desperate excuse. Now, realizing that Feitu's troubles were orchestrated and not accidental, Yuan Lai concluded that Gu Sa was indeed behind all the schemes.

Jin Ran, uninterested in her motives, calmly told Gu Sa to leave. Gu Sa, however, pressed him, questioning if he truly didn't understand her feelings after all these years. Jin Ran firmly stated that while he appreciated her help in Japan, their relationship was strictly professional and platonic, acknowledging her efforts but firmly drawing a boundary. Gu Sa vehemently argued that no friend would make such sacrifices for a man unless they loved him, declaring her love for Jin Ran.

Jin Ran reiterated that he could not envision any relationship beyond a business partnership with her, emphasizing that Yuan Lai was, and always would be, the only woman he loved. Just then, Yuan Lai arrived. Gu Sa lashed out at Yuan Lai for always appearing at the wrong moment, but Yuan Lai fiercely countered that Gu Sa was the one out of place, condemning her for illegally disrupting Feitu's operations and manipulating Chu Yun without any remorse.

Gu Sa defended her actions as being "worth it" for love, but Yuan Lai stressed that true love relies on sincerity, not manipulation and scheming. As Gu Sa became increasingly agitated, Jin Ran held Yuan Lai's hand, unwavering even when Gu Sa revealed she didn't have much time left and pleaded with him to spend her remaining days with her, reminding him of their time in Japan. Jin Ran simply stated, "Because I love her."

Seeing their united front and his absolute rejection, Gu Sa left in utter despair. Later, Gu Sa, having finally resolved her inner conflict, sent Alex back to Japan, instructing him to be good and assuring him she would visit. Reflecting on her elaborate schemes and her ultimate failure, realizing she had become abandoned by everyone and lost everything, she acknowledged her significant mistakes.

Recalling her first meeting with Jin Ran years ago when he had saved her, she whispered a final "Goodbye, Jin Ran" before surrendering herself to the public security authorities. After Gu Sa's departure, Jin Ran, delighted and impressed by Yuan Lai's fierce defense in the office, playfully quoted her words back to her, expressing his admiration. He reaffirmed his commitment to spend the rest of his life with her and then proposed marriage.

Yuan Lai, smiling, told him he would first need to win over her parents, to which Jin Ran confidently replied that it would be as easy as pie. At his company, Chengzhi was leading a meeting when his father, Mr. Zhao, unexpectedly arrived. Assuming his father was there to scold him again for pursuing photography, Chengzhi angrily declared that he had already decided to give up being a photographer, hoping that would satisfy him.

However, his father, saddened by Chengzhi's perception of him as a controlling parent, revealed that Mrs. Ding (Ding Ang's mother) had spoken to him, making him realize his mistakes. Mr. Zhao then sincerely apologized, admitting that he had been the stubborn one for trying to impose his will on Chengzhi and acknowledging that there was nothing wrong with pursuing a career he loved. Chengzhi, surprised, asked for confirmation that his father would support his photography dreams.

His father affirmed his support, playfully asking Chengzhi to send him postcards from his travels. With this, the father and son reconciled. With Gu Sa dealt with, Feitu's business rapidly got back on track, thriving with renewed energy. Fei, who was once a rookie, had grown into a capable and independent team member, confidently managing complex tasks.

Yuan Lai had become a vital backbone of the company, often so engrossed in her work that she would forget her dates with Jin Ran. Concurrently, Xinyi successfully led the Dingran Team (DNX), achieving consecutive victories and restoring its past glory. During a gathering, Xinyi brought Niannian to meet Yuan Lai and Jin Ran.

Jin Ran congratulated Xinyi on another championship win, to which Xinyi confidently remarked that winning was simply normal for her team and that not winning would be strange, earning a playful tease from Jin Ran about her big talk, just like Ding Ang. Xinyi then playfully urged Jin Ran and Yuan Lai to have a baby soon so Niannian could have a younger sibling. While Jin Ran expressed his eagerness, Yuan Lai was not in a hurry.

When Yuan Lai asked what they were laughing about, Jin Ran reminded her of Dongfang University's homecoming day tomorrow, which they all agreed to attend. Meanwhile, Shuangshuang and Chengzhi worked together seamlessly on an art gallery promotion, their teamwork and affection growing stronger with each passing day. The next day, old classmates gathered for their university homecoming, returning to their former classroom.

As Jin Ran made his entrance to a resounding applause, he began his speech on "The Power of Dreams." He shared his past belief that professional success and fame were the ultimate ways to achieve self-worth, which led him to spend five solitary years working, studying, and starting a business in Japan.

However, he now viewed those years as wasted, realizing that a dream without the companionship of a special person, and without love, was ultimately hollow and left him cold and insensitive. A picture of Yuan Lai then appeared on the screen, along with text describing her as a unique individual who could easily bring him joy or sadness, and whose smile lit up his world.

Jin Ran then introduced his next segment, titled "The Most Important Person to Me," which unexpectedly played a video of Yuan Lai's own past public confession to him in that very classroom, where she boldly declared her love and intention to make him her boyfriend. Walking towards Yuan Lai, Jin Ran admitted that compared to losing her, everything else he once valued now meant nothing. He confessed that he couldn't imagine facing the rest of his life without her.

Yuan Lai playfully reminded him that he once found public declarations childish, but Jin Ran responded that for her, he was willing to do it. Kneeling before her, Jin Ran declared Yuan Lai the most beautiful thing in his life and a divine blessing, asking her to spend her future with him.

Yuan Lai, acknowledging their difficult journey and her past doubts about whether they were truly destined, expressed how she could never give up on him or forget him, proudly proclaiming her love for him despite any external skepticism. Amidst cheers from their classmates, Yuan Lai accepted his proposal and the ring, and they sealed their engagement with a kiss. Later, Jin Ran and Yuan Lai met up with Chengzhi and Shuangshuang for dinner.

The couples playfully teased each other, with Jin Ran and Yuan Lai subtly outmaneuvering Chengzhi and Shuangshuang in purchasing a painting Yuan Lai admired. When asked if they were married, Yuan Lai clarified that they were engaged and waiting for everyone to hold a joint ceremony. They also shared updates about Xinyi, who was leading the Dingran Team to consistent victories, and Niannian, who was growing up to look more and more like Ding Ang.

The four friends then raised their glasses, toasting to their passionate youth, sweet love, lasting friendship, and bright future. Some time later, Yuan Lai returned to Yamagata, Japan, where she and Jin Ran had once visited, finding the landscape covered in the same heavy snow as before. As she rode the distinctive pink train, Jin Ran suddenly appeared, holding a bouquet of flowers.

He asked if she remembered the meaning of the pink train, which she recalled him refusing to tell her back then. Jin Ran explained that while other colored trains represented things like friendship (yellow), health (blue), or family harmony (red), the pink train symbolized eternal love: if a couple rode it twice in their lifetime, they would be together forever. This was why other couples on the train, from elderly pairs to young lovers, had been so excited.

Jin Ran then revealed that on their first trip, even though they had only ridden it once, he had already decided he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. He pulled out a small white rat from the Kasafuku umbrella shop, playfully remarking that it symbolized many children and blessings, making Yuan Lai blush.

Confirming it was their first wedding anniversary, Jin Ran presented her with an anniversary ring, professing his deep love and vowing to stay with her through all difficulties, rich or poor, never giving up. They then embraced, looking forward to a lifetime together.
