After a performance with Song Ran, Li Zhenyan felt deep guilt for his indecisiveness, which he knew had hurt Fang Xiaowo. Though Fang Xiaowo complimented the show, her sadness was undeniable as she embraced him, expressing fears that he didn't truly love her and that they wouldn't always be together. Li Zhenyan, pained by her words, earnestly reassured her of his love, promising they would be together forever.

The following morning, as Li Zhenyan prepared to leave, he told Fang Xiaowo to eat. When she inquired about his happiness during the previous day's performance, he shared that performing with her in the future would bring him immense joy. He then departed for an appointment with Gu Sheng to discuss recruiting new members for the RS Youth Orchestra. Fang Xiaowo remained at home, standing in the hallway in a daze, still troubled by a perceived emotional distance between them.

Soon, Fisher arrived, surprising Fang Xiaowo. He noticed her dejected state and playfully asked if Li Zhenyan had upset her again. Overwhelmed, Fang Xiaowo broke down in tears, embracing Fisher. She later confided in him that her sorrow wasn't about hating Song Ran, but about a feeling that something precious and very special had been taken from her.

She acknowledged the brilliance of Li Zhenyan and Song Ran's performance, admitting it was the kind of spectacle that thrilled music lovers and inspired musicians to strive for greatness. Fisher then suggested she consider holding her own concert.

Fang Xiaowo, however, felt a profound gap, believing that Li Zhenyan and Song Ran were "born for the stage" and that despite her relentless efforts since leaving Baiqi and enduring her dislike for intense study, she was still "too far away" to ever surpass them. Fisher encouraged her to play the piano for him, urging her to shed her fears and pour her entire passion into it.

He assured her that only by experiencing the music's clash on stage would she discover her own dazzling brilliance and find more happiness than she could imagine. He told her she wouldn't regret facing her challenges, advising her to let go of distractions and play from her heart for the world to hear. Meanwhile, in Paris, Li Yazhe grew worried after being unable to contact Fang Xiaowo, fearing something had happened to her.

Li Zhenyan had earlier sought Editor Bay's help in promoting the RS Youth Orchestra. Editor Bay soon contacted him with good news: commercial performance opportunities were coming in, and she urged him to prepare thoroughly. Li Zhenyan enthusiastically shared the news with his aunt, confirming her investment would pay off and emphasizing the need for intense practice. In the orchestra's rehearsal space, Lin Qingshang was busy preparing music scores.

Qin Fen confronted her, demanding to know why she had blocked him on social media. Chen Zheng explained that Qin Fen had been leaving comments on every one of Lin Qingshang's posts, claiming she had proposed to him, which had annoyed her enough to block him. Qin Fen then seized the opportunity to formally propose to Lin Qingshang.

He confessed his admiration for her, especially her spirited nature, and told her that despite his current lack of wealth or achievement, her presence filled him with security and hope. He declared his readiness to spend his life with her. Moved, Lin Qingshang accepted his proposal, to the cheers of their friends. In a surprising development, Fisher arranged for Fang Xiaowo to make her debut during his upcoming tour and called Elise from Paris to assist.

Elise was furious, questioning Fisher's reckless decision given his own health concerns, which Fang Xiaowo overheard, making her anxious about Fisher's condition. Fisher downplayed his illness as a "reverse growth" condition, assuring Fang Xiaowo he was fine and that Elise always exaggerated. Pulling Elise aside, Fisher listened as she expressed concern that a subpar performance by Fang Xiaowo could damage his reputation. Fisher dismissed this, saying he didn't care.

Elise then mentioned that Li Yazhe, Fang Xiaowo's teacher, also opposed the plan. Li Yazhe then called Fisher directly, voicing his concern that a debut on Fisher's tour would put undue pressure on Fang Xiaowo. Fisher questioned Li Yazhe's lack of confidence in his student, then handed the phone to Fang Xiaowo. Fang Xiaowo told Li Yazhe that her wish for this performance would come true and, while she hoped for his support, she would participate regardless.

Witnessing her unwavering determination, Li Yazhe conceded. He later called Fisher again, still expressing reservations about the timing. However, Fisher passionately explained that he had always admired Fang Xiaowo's talent and pure spirit, and upon seeing her again, he recognized her as a "very mature pianist" ready to "bloom." He argued against overly harsh criticism or excessive protection, advocating instead for love and allowing young musicians to experience life's full spectrum. Convinced, Li Yazhe finally agreed.

Meanwhile, Li Zhenyan and Gu Sheng conducted auditions for new orchestra members. Li Zhenyan, however, was visibly preoccupied. He couldn't shake Fang Xiaowo's words about him always moving too fast, leaving her seeing only his back, and the seemingly unbridgeable distance between them. Gu Sheng noticed his troubled state.

Later that evening, Elise called Li Zhenyan, asking about Fang Xiaowo, whom she referred to as his "little girlfriend," and then informed him that Fisher and Fang Xiaowo were planning a risky collaboration on a performance. Li Zhenyan was shocked, unable to believe it, as Fang Xiaowo hadn't told him. Elise confirmed the news was already public, calling Fisher a "madman." Realizing the gravity of the situation, Li Zhenyan immediately left for the concert hall.
