The amount involved was nearly 800 million yuan, and a major breakthrough occurred after He Zhang turned himself in as a witness. He Zhang had previously visited Jin Chao’s hospital room to apologize for his past actions, insisting he had no knowledge of Wan Shengbang's plan to sabotage the car.
