After taking a taxi, Xiao Heyun followed the bus route. Being wrongly accused of being a pervert left him in a foul mood. While he was on the phone with a friend explaining he was almost there, the explosion ahead affected his car. He was severely burned and near death. His last memory was the doctor defibrillating him and the sharp sound of the heart monitor going flat.

Awakening again on the bus, Xiao Heyun looked at the sleeping Li Shiqing beside him and remembered everything that had happened. Despite her protests, he tried to get off the bus but was mistaken for trying to seize the steering wheel. As expected, the explosion happened again, and both Xiao Heyun and Li Shiqing woke up once more on the bus. Xiao Heyun tried every way he could think of to get off, but failed each time.

He was even pinned against the glass by a burly man. Seeing his impulsiveness getting him nowhere, Li Shiqing told him not to act rashly next time and to follow her lead. Upon waking again, she calmly analyzed the situation. She realized it was her pulling Xiao Heyun off the bus that got him involved in the loop. This time, she wanted to try avoiding the crash altogether to prevent the explosion.

Once again pretending to have heart issues, she tried to get the bus to stop. But Xiao Heyun told the driver to speed up instead. As expected, the same woman gave her the medicine again. The two of them sat nervously, keeping a close eye on the delivery rider outside. This time, they managed to stop the driver in time, avoiding the crash with the fuel truck. They finally let out a breath of relief, thinking the loop was over.

But then, the old cellphone ringtone played again, and the explosion still happened—leaving Li Shiqing in panic. Waking up once again, she recalled hearing the ringtone during her first and second loops, when she hadn’t disturbed the driver. She quickly realized—there really was a bomb on the bus. To get off safely, they once again pretended she encountered a pervert and got off at Qingshui Alley.

Li Shiqing called the police and said there was a bomb on the bus that needed to be stopped urgently. But when the police pressed for details, she couldn’t answer. Xiao Heyun told her to hang up and turn off the phone. Unfortunately, it was already too late. From the overpass, the two of them saw thick smoke rising in the distance—the explosion was still caused by a collision with a fuel truck.

At the police station, Zhang Cheng listened to the call recording and issued orders to be on alert for any explosives on the bus to prevent a secondary explosion. He also spotted Xiao Heyun and Li Shiqing on surveillance standing on the overpass. The two originally wanted to hand over their phones and speak to the police, but given their bizarre situation, they knew no one would believe them. So they went to a nearby park to analyze the situation.

Li Shiqing suspected she might already be dead and was just reliving her death, but Xiao Heyun believed each loop allowed them to change the situation on the bus, proving they weren’t dead. Li Shiqing explained she had pulled him off the bus because he was the only one who helped her every time—she wanted to save him. Because of the strange content of their report, the police quickly locked onto the two and decided to question them.
