Li Zhicheng was taken by drug traffickers to a secret base. Upon exiting the vehicle, he swiftly subdued two of his captors and stealthily infiltrated the compound. Meanwhile, at the designer competition, Lin Qian was deeply worried about Li Zhicheng, insisting on waiting for him in his car. Chen Yayi repeatedly urged her to return, saying, "Qianqian, I know you are here. Everyone is looking for you like crazy. Let's go back."
Lin Qian responded, "I'm fine, I just want to be by myself." She explained, "But only in here can I feel like I am closer to him. I feel more at ease." Chen Yayi stressed the importance of the competition, reminding Lin Qian, "The competition is about to start. . . You have been working for so long. You can't quit now." Lin Qian finally relented and returned to the venue with Chen Yayi.
Grace then announced the theme for the third round of the competition: "meet again." Designers were given twenty-four hours for closed-door creation. Chen Yayi tried to comfort Lin Qian, saying, "Qianqian, stop worrying. President Li is a tough man. He can survive on the battlefield. I am sure nothing can beat him down." However, Lin Qian remained deeply unsettled, asking if there was any news from Li Zhicheng or Gu Yanzhi, only to be told there was nothing.
Inside the drug den, Li Zhicheng seized a submachine gun and engaged in a fierce gunfight with the traffickers. He fought fiercely, simultaneously trying to rescue his comrades, Wasp and Monkey. Li Zhicheng, Wasp, and the others fought their way out but were heavily intercepted by the traffickers and eventually cornered in an isolated room. The drug lord, Mi Huan, yelled at them to surrender.
Li Zhicheng used a flash drive as leverage, offering to trade its secrets for the safe release of five of his brothers. Mi Huan scoffed, asking what flash drive and pretending not to understand. When Grizzly Bear got shot trying to help, Li Zhicheng reiterated, "Mi Huan! If you fire any shots. You won't get a penny!" He then proposed the deal: "I will make you a deal, the flash drive for five guys!"
He also warned Mi Huan not to harm his loved ones in Linhai. Mi Huan pondered for a moment and accepted the offer. Li Zhicheng sternly instructed Wasp and the others to notify the police immediately once they were safe, adding that he could only stall for twelve hours. Despite their desire to stay and fight, Li Zhicheng insisted, "Bastards! When you are not in the army, you can ignore my orders? Action, now!"
He sent them off, saying, "Get out of here before I change my mind!" Once outside, Wasp, Monkey, Woodpecker, and Antelope, along with the injured Grizzly Bear, decided to split up to find help. Wasp told Antelope to take Grizzly Bear to the hospital, and Woodpecker to stay hidden, as Mi Huan would be guarding the area extra carefully that night.
Their best chance was in the morning when the guards would be less vigilant, hoping they could find the army and return in time. Meanwhile, Gu Yanzhi took Li Jinyuan out for a meal, but she had no appetite, consumed by worry for her brother. Gu Yanzhi reassured her, saying he believed Li Zhicheng would be fine. Unconvinced, Li Jinyuan left. Not far away, Chen Zheng was having dinner with Chen Yayi.
Chen Zheng criticized Gu Yanzhi's slow approach to romance, while Chen Yayi defended Gu Yanzhi's single-minded devotion to Li Jinyuan, contrasting it with Chen Zheng's fickle nature. Chen Zheng, proud to be the young CEO of Simeiqi, claimed he needed to maintain his status, prompting Chen Yayi to sarcastically remark that his overpowering cologne made him seem superficial. Their conversation quickly devolved into their usual bickering.
Late that night, Lin Qian was alone in the design studio, consumed by worry for the missing Li Zhicheng, tears streaming down her face. Back at the drug den, Mi Huan savagely beat Li Zhicheng, demanding the secrets on the flash drive. Li Zhicheng, gritting his teeth, refused to speak, insisting he would only talk the next morning after ensuring his comrades' safety.
At dawn, Mi Huan strapped a timed bomb to Li Zhicheng, again pressing him for the flash drive's secrets. Realizing Li Zhicheng was stalling, Mi Huan flew into a rage and prepared to kill him. Just then, special forces arrived, descending from the sky and surrounding the traffickers. Cornered, Mi Huan surrendered with a sneer, hoping to witness Li Zhicheng's death by the bomb. Li Zhicheng decisively shot and killed Mi Huan.
Wasp and the others, along with the military, quickly arrived. Antelope bravely took on the dangerous task of disarming the bomb, cautioning, "You can't cut it. There's a wire inside the rope. If you accidentally cut it, it will explode. Go. All of you get out. I’m an explosives expert. There’s no time. Trust me." The others retreated as Antelope, risking his life, successfully removed the bomb.
Stepping out of the smoke and dust, the five brothers embraced tightly, their camaraderie strengthened by the ordeal. Li Zhicheng then instructed Wasp to take good care of Grizzly Bear, who was in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and send him back to his hometown. Li Zhicheng stated he had pressing matters in Linhai and would return, asking his team to follow once things were cleared up.
The designer competition reached its climax, with Ning Weikai's team and Lin Qian's team emerging as the top contenders. During an interview, Ning Weikai openly declared his intention to compete fiercely with Lin Qian. He shared that his proudest moment as a designer is when someone understands his work and its soul, hinting that he had found that person. Soon after, Li Jinyuan and Gao Lang showcased the designs on stage.
Gao Lang modeled a long robe made with Snowy Smoke silk, giving an impression of profound calmness, while Li Jinyuan wore Lin Qian's pink camouflage dress, a stunning blend of masculinity and femininity. Ning Weikai was the first to explain his Snowy Smoke silk design, describing its smooth, light texture and the perfect pairing of blue and white, which created an air of calm and depth. He also highlighted the red and yellow embroidery, symbolizing surging passion underneath.
He concluded that every new encounter is a reunion with an old friend, like two people with the same goal, whose different flowers will bloom together in the next season. Next, it was Lin Qian's turn. She passionately spoke about her design concept, revealing that her epiphany came from a person. She explained, "When we met the first time, that person was wearing a camouflage uniform. He has retired from the army since then.
But he carries a military spirit with him wherever he goes. Pink is a feminine color. So this dress uses pink camouflage. I want to be one with him." Mid-sentence, Chen Yayi rushed in with Li Zhicheng's phone, shouting, "Qianqian! Hurry! He's back!" Lin Qian quickly took the phone, hearing Li Zhicheng's voice, "Lin Qian, it's me. . . I'm almost arriving at the hotel. You focus on the contest. I will see you soon."
Overwhelmed with joy and relief, Lin Qian, without hesitation, dashed out of the design room to find him. They reunited by a water fountain at the hotel entrance, embracing tightly, unable to let go. Back at the competition, the host announced that any contestant missing a segment would be considered to have voluntarily withdrawn. Lin Qian's departure meant Ning Weikai became the sole winner.
When given the microphone, Ning Weikai gazed meaningfully towards Grace in the distance and emotionally expressed gratitude to "the one who understands my work and my soul." Grace, however, turned her head, avoiding his intense gaze. After the event, Chen Zheng offered Chen Yayi a ride home, leading to another playful exchange where Chen Yayi demanded he pay back his "interest" and called him "Chen Baibai" (White Chen) because of his fair skin, before finally accepting the ride.
In their hotel room, Lin Qian emerged from the shower and gently caressed Li Zhicheng's bare upper body, which was covered in scars. Overcome with emotion, Li Zhicheng kissed Lin Qian, and they fell onto the bed together. The next morning, Lin Qian woke up to find Li Zhicheng gone. Anxiously, she searched for him, only to discover he had gone to buy her breakfast.
Lin Qian playfully scolded him for leaving without a word, hitting his chest with her fists. Li Zhicheng apologized, promising, "I will change that habit for you." He then explained that he had gone to rescue Wasp and the others, who had been captured by the same gangsters from before. He reassured her that the gangsters were all apprehended and would no longer disturb their lives.
He then recounted how Grizzly Bear had taken a bullet for him, admitting that without Grizzly Bear, Lin Qian might never have seen him again. He confirmed that Grizzly Bear was now out of critical danger and had been sent to a hospital in his hometown, promising to visit him when he had time.
Lin Qian expressed her deep fear of losing him during his disappearance, confessing that despite trying to finish the competition, all she could think of was him. She made him promise to always let her know if he ever faced danger again, adding, "I am not afraid of the danger. I am afraid to live in a world without you."
