This is a world where the human race and the Winged race coexist, the two totally different races finally ushered in a short but fragile period of peace after a long war.
However, the “Xingliu pollen” which the Feathers rely on was decreasing, making the Feathers weaker and weaker.
At the same time, the human race secretly created a sky city to counterbalance the Winged tribe, a vicious war between the two tribes was inevitable.
Yi Fuling is an ordinary young girl of the Winged tribe. In order to find her childhood friend, Human Prince, Bai Tingjun, she left her hometown and traveled through the mountains.
However, the emperor of the Winged race, Feng Tianyi was involved in the trouble together with Yi Fuling by mistake.
The real identity of Yi Fuling is the reincarnation of the “Xingliu” Flower God. Feng Tianyi has known this for a long time.
However, if the Flower God awakened in Yi Fuling’s body, it means that Yi Fuling, an innocent and lovely girl, will no longer exist.

Episode 1 Recap
On the Lanzhou continent, Humans and the Winged Tribe coexisted, with the Winged Tribe revered for their ability to fly and their Sky City. After a century of peace following a devastating war, an agreement signed by the Human and Winged Emperors ensured balance and prosperity. As a new century dawned, Ji Shu's wife, Ruizhu, gave birth. Human Empress Bai Xue, Ji Shu's former lover, fiercely pursued them, determined to claim the child.
Ruizhu gave birth to a daughter with a distinct petal birthmark near her ear. Confronted by Bai Xue, Ruizhu revealed Ji Shu still harbored feelings for the Empress, but Bai Xue remained ruthless. Ruizhu was fatally wounded protecting her daughter, prompting Ji Shu to leap from a cliff with the infant. They were saved by Xing Guxuan, Ji Shu's master and an elder of the Starry Pavilion.
It was revealed that Ji Shu's daughter was the Star Flow Flower Spirit, a being that descends every hundred years, whose pollen grants flight to adult Winged nobles. Desperate to protect his daughter from those who sought her, including Empress Bai Xue, Ji Shu consumed the Asura Elixir to alter his appearance, vanishing to ensure his child could grow up safely.
Eighteen years later, the child, now the naive maiden Yi Fuling, had fallen deeply in love with Human Crown Prince Bai Tingjun. Bai Tingjun was a student at the Starry Pavilion, which served as a neutral mediator and academy for both the Winged Emperor Feng Tianyi and Prince Bai Tingjun to maintain peace. Missing Bai Tingjun, Yi Fuling attempted to sneak into the Starry Pavilion.
During the Seven Star Lanterns blessing ceremony, where Human and Winged representatives competed to light the lanterns for Lanzhou, Bai Tingjun was chosen for the Humans, and Feng Tianyi for the Winged Tribe. Feng Tianyi initially yielded, allowing Bai Tingjun to light the lanterns. However, when Bai Tingjun approached, the lantern's mechanism was sabotaged.
Feng Tianyi seized the opportunity to mock Bai Tingjun, accusing him of incompetence, until Pavilion Master Yin Chi used a bronze mirror to reveal that Winged Tribe subordinates were responsible for the sabotage. This fueled the already simmering rivalry between Feng Tianyi and Bai Tingjun. Yi Fuling, while climbing a cliff to enter the pavilion, fell and landed near Feng Tianyi. As Human guards patrolled, Feng Tianyi impulsively kissed Yi Fuling to create a distraction and avoid being caught.
Discovering her deep affection for Bai Tingjun, Feng Tianyi deviously offered to take her to the Mirror Flower Contest to meet him, a proposition Yi Fuling joyfully accepted. Meanwhile, Yu Haizhen, a gifted Winged Tribe mechanical genius, yearned to join Feng Tianyi's Elite Society to bring honor to his family. Feng Tianyi exploited Yu Haizhen's eagerness, tasking him with delivering expired Sky Grass (or spirit medicine) to Yi Fuling, which would induce dizziness and confusion.
Yu Haizhen, initially feeling like Feng Tianyi's mere pawn, was touched by Yi Fuling's genuine concern, not fully realizing the extent of Feng Tianyi's manipulative plan. At the Mirror Flower Contest, Feng Tianyi used his self-made flowing light flying rings to attack guards, allowing Yi Fuling to enter. Disoriented by the medicine, Yi Fuling caused a commotion, striking a Starry Pavilion elder (or the master). She was arrested for trespassing and imprisoned.
Feng Tianyi, seeing Bai Tingjun's distress, smiled victoriously, planning to pin the blame on Bai Tingjun. Yu Haizhen, troubled by Yi Fuling's predicament, was warned by Feng Tianyi to keep silent. Bai Tingjun later visited Yi Fuling in prison, vowing to protect her.
Episode 2 Recap
Yi Fuling found herself imprisoned. Bai Tingjun visited her, their deep bond evident, but his bone-corroding nail, a childhood vow to protect her only as a brother, prevented intimacy. The Sect Leader, Yin Chi, sentenced Yi Fuling to the Seven-Star Whip punishment, consisting of seven lashes daily for seven days. Bai Tingjun's pleas were unsuccessful, so he investigated and discovered Yu Haizhen's hidden weapon on a guard. Confronting Yu Haizhen, Bai Tingjun learned that Feng Tianyi had manipulated him.
Yu Haizhen, initially agreeing to explain to Yin Chi, ultimately chose to bear the blame for both himself and Feng Tianyi due to Feng Tianyi's threats. Recognizing Yu Haizhen's selflessness, Yi Fuling recanted her confession, deciding to shoulder the responsibility herself to protect the innocent. During the first day of punishment, Feng Tianyi insisted on administering the whipping. He publicly exaggerated a forceful kiss with Yi Fuling to provoke Bai Tingjun, whose anger boiled over.
Bai Tingjun declared that continued punishment would mean war with the entire Human Clan. To avoid escalating the conflict, Yi Fuling endured the first day's lashes. That night, Bai Tingjun gathered his subordinates to break Yi Fuling out, also aiming to uphold Human Clan dignity. Meanwhile, Yu Haizhen, attempting to rescue Yi Fuling under the pretense of delivering food, inadvertently activated a mechanism, trapping himself. Bai Tingjun soon arrived and also became ensnared.
However, Bai Tingjun's subordinate, Luolin, betrayed him by reporting their jailbreak attempt to Feng Tianyi, who apprehended the two inside the cell. The trio, including Feng Tianyi, then encountered Yin Chi, resulting in their confinement for the night. While imprisoned, Feng Tianyi pointed out the Starry Pavilion's rules: successfully completing the treacherous Fuyu Ling trial would allow Yi Fuling to become a disciple and avoid further punishment. Bai Tingjun vehemently opposed this, knowing the extreme dangers.
The next day, as Yi Fuling's punishment was set to continue, a desperate Bai Tingjun entrusted Luolin with a tiger tally to summon his elite guards from Frost City. However, the treacherous Luolin promptly delivered the tiger tally to Feng Tianyi for a reward. Feng Tianyi then visited Yi Fuling in her cell, showing her the tiger tally and explaining the dire consequences of Bai Tingjun's rebellion.
Manipulated by Feng Tianyi, Yi Fuling resolved to undertake the Fuyu Ling trial to become a Starry Pavilion disciple and ease Bai Tingjun's worries. Yin Chi, moved by her resolve, promised to forgive past transgressions and personally teach her martial arts if she succeeded. The night before the trial, Feng Tianyi secretly enlisted Yu Haizhen to decipher the Star Wheel mechanism, which controlled Fuyu Ling's barrier.
Feng Tianyi's complex plan involved obtaining the Flower God Pendant, and he knew Yi Fuling's skills were insufficient to defeat the Flame Core Mech within Fuyu Ling without help. Before her departure, Feng Tianyi forcefully kissed Yi Fuling again as a farewell gift, during which he secretly fed her Sky Grass, temporarily granting her the power of teleportation. Yu Haizhen also provided her with a shooting star flying ring for self-defense.
Despite Bai Tingjun's grave concerns, Yi Fuling reassured him before entering Fuyu Ling. Once inside, recalling Feng Tianyi's kiss, Yi Fuling accidentally triggered a mechanism and found herself confronting Fuyu Ling's monstrous inhabitants.
Episode 3 Recap
Yi Fuling's entry into Floating Jade Peak turned perilous when she was attacked by the Flame Core Mech. Though difficult to counter, the Sky Grass she had consumed gave her astonishing speed. Yu Haizhen, after an all-night study, devised a way to open the Starry Wheel's barrier, allowing Yi Fuling to escape. However, the Flame Core Mech followed her out. Outside, the Starry Pavilion disciples retreated in panic.
Bai Tingjun, concerned for their safety, bravely stayed behind to stall the mech. Bai Tingjun was no match for the mech; he was severely injured while protecting Yi Fuling when her flying rings failed. Meanwhile, Feng Tianyi seized the opportunity to enter the now-empty barrier. His intention was to steal the Flower Goddess Pendant, but he initially struggled to access it. The Starry Pavilion elders soon arrived with lightning arrows.
They defeated the Flame Core Mech by shooting its chest as it was preparing to attack. With the mech's defeat, the pendant's protective energy dissipated, and Feng Tianyi successfully stole it, leaving Luolin's jade pendant behind to frame him. Back at Starry Pavilion, Yi Fuling was initially blamed for releasing the Flame Core Mech, and the elders decided not to admit her as a disciple. Bai Tingjun, fearing further suffering for Yi Fuling, pleaded on her behalf.
Surprisingly, Feng Tianyi also interceded. Master Yin Chi, softened by their pleas, provisionally agreed to admit her. Relieved, Bai Tingjun then collapsed from his injuries. Master Yin Chi and the elders investigated the barrier, believing that only Ji Shu, who had long been missing, could open the Starry Wheel. However, Yu Haizhen's mechanical talent made him a prime suspect. Master Yin Chi also found Feng Tianyi's planted jade pendant, leading him to suspect Luolin.
Yi Fuling diligently watched over the unconscious Bai Tingjun and befriended his maid, Bi Anhua. Observing Bi Anhua's melancholic expression, Yi Fuling realized Bi Anhua harbored feelings for Bai Tingjun. Bi Anhua confessed her affection but stated that Bai Tingjun’s heart belonged solely to Yi Fuling, suggesting he might be hiding a difficult truth, possibly related to the Corrosion Bone Nails, for avoiding Yi Fuling.
Bi Anhua gave Yi Fuling a petal, instructing her to pray: if the wind carried it to the highest treetop, Bai Tingjun would confess his love. The petal indeed flew high, filling Yi Fuling with joy, though she didn't see it fall after she turned away, to Bi Anhua's quiet sadness. Master Yin Chi questioned Yu Haizhen about opening the Starry Wheel, which Yu Haizhen admitted.
Feng Tianyi, feigning regret, then manipulated the situation, resulting in Yu Haizhen's expulsion from the sect. Luolin was also interrogated, falsely implicated, and imprisoned by the elders. Yi Fuling, upon learning of Yu Haizhen's plight, sought to defend him. Yu Haizhen, unwilling to burden her, swallowed Sky Grass and disappeared before her eyes.
He was then intercepted by a group of people and taken to a secluded workshop filled with rare mechanical parts and a note inviting him to use them. Feng Tianyi sent a divine medicine for Bai Tingjun. Bi Anhua administered it, and Bai Tingjun soon awoke. Yi Fuling expressed her adoration through a painting depicting red beans, but Bai Tingjun, though understanding her feelings, feigned ignorance and continued to evade her love, burdened by the Corrosion Bone Nails.
He also warned her to be wary of Feng Tianyi's schemes. Soon after, Bai Tingjun relapsed, spitting blood and collapsing again. The elders informed Yi Fuling that the medicine could only sustain him for three days due to his shattered heart meridians. The only solution was the Soul Summoning Art, a life-for-a-life sacrifice. Yi Fuling volunteered, but the elders firmly rejected her offer.
In her despair, a disembodied Flame Core Mech appeared and tempted her, offering to teach her the Soul Summoning Art to save Bai Tingjun. Meanwhile, news of the Flower Goddess Pendant's theft reached Human Empress Bai Xue, signaling that the Starry Flow Flower Goddess was about to be awakened.
Episode 4 Recap
An astrologer advises Empress Bai Xue to go to the Starry Pavilion, as he has divined that the vessel for the Star Flow Flower God is currently there, and she should seize the opportunity. In a secret room, Yi Fuling prepares a forbidden soul-calling technique to save Bai Tingjun. Night Yan, Bai Tingjun's subordinate, discovers her but is moved by her sincerity and agrees to keep it secret.
Yi Fuling uses her own blood as a catalyst to successfully awaken Bai Tingjun. She hides the severe side effects she experiences from the technique, fearing she is in mortal danger. Meanwhile, Feng Tianyi has confined Yu Haizhen to Qingfeng Courtyard, a place filled with intricate mechanisms and treasures, encouraging him to invent.
Initially angered by Feng Tianyi's manipulation, Yu Haizhen is swayed when Feng Tianyi presents him with "Yuan Hai Tiangong", a book on mechanisms by the master Ji Shu. Feng Tianyi promises to provide one page daily on the condition that Yu Haizhen surpasses Ji Shu. Yu Haizhen eagerly dedicates himself to the book.
He later accidentally discovers Feng Tianyi's half-finished fake wings, which Feng Tianyi is using in an attempt to fly, violating the Winged Tribe's rule against flying before the age of twenty. Feng Tianyi, inspired by Ji Shu's failed attempt to create wings for humans, then gives Yu Haizhen the entire "Yuan Hai Tiangong" and the flower god pendant, tasking him with opening it and uncovering its secrets.
Yi Fuling's father, Yi Qianji, now transformed, arrives at the Starry Pavilion searching for his daughter, coincidentally witnessing Empress Bai Xue's grand arrival. Yi Qianji hides, not wishing to be seen, though Bai Xue finds him vaguely familiar. Bai Tingjun, recovering from his illness, confronts Feng Tianyi, realizing he was manipulated by Feng Tianyi using his concern for Yi Fuling and trust in the now-missing Luolin. Bai Tingjun feels powerless against Feng Tianyi's fabrications.
As Yi Fuling's health deteriorates from the soul-calling technique, she drags her ailing body away, hoping to spare Bai Tingjun guilt, and collapses unconscious in the wilderness. Night Yan, unable to bear Yi Fuling's suffering, reveals the truth of her sacrifice to Bai Tingjun. Devastated, Bai Tingjun finds the dying Yi Fuling. At the same time, while Yu Haizhen is studying the flower god pendant, it suddenly activates, releasing the Star Flow Flower.
The flower drifts away, finding Yi Fuling and merging with a birthmark on her ear, forming a glowing Star Flow Flower. Bai Tingjun remembers a mysterious protective power and a red glow from Yi Fuling's ear during a childhood incident, realizing she is the Star Flow Flower God. Yi Fuling's condition immediately improves, but she is saddened that Bai Tingjun still avoids touching her.
Empress Bai Xue, who has witnessed the entire scene, is secretly delighted to have found the Star Flow Flower God's vessel. Upon waking, Yi Fuling discovers her five senses are extraordinarily heightened, allowing her to hear the sounds of nature. She overhears a conversation between Bai Xue and Bai Tingjun, where Bai Xue proposes Yi Fuling become the Crown Princess. Overjoyed, Yi Fuling rushes out and encounters Feng Tianyi.
Feng Tianyi gives her a forged letter from Yu Haizhen, assuring his safety, and forcefully escorts her away. Amidst her happiness, Yi Fuling reveals to Feng Tianyi that she is to become the Crown Princess. However, Bai Tingjun refuses his mother's proposal to marry Yi Fuling, concealing his true feelings and claiming to love someone else. Despite his rejection, Bai Xue remains resolute, insisting on their immediate marriage.
Episode 5 Recap
Feng Tianyi, learning of Yi Fuling's impending marriage to Bai Tingjun, teased her, provoking her anger. He then tricked her into drinking a hidden wine, belonging to Star Valley's Master Gu. As they drank, their initial animosity faded; Yi Fuling realized Feng Tianyi was not as villainous as she thought, acknowledging his leniency during her past punishment. Feng Tianyi felt a connection to Yi Fuling, who, getting drunk, fell asleep holding his hand or on him.
He then carried the sleeping Yi Fuling back through the snow, a smile gracing his lips, though she murmured Bai Tingjun's name. Later, Yi Fuling witnessed Bai Tingjun presenting a red bean bracelet to Bi Anhua. Bai Tingjun clarified to Yi Fuling that he only regarded her as a sister, and Bi Anhua was his true beloved. Heartbroken, Yi Fuling fled. Bi Anhua, in turn, returned the bracelet to Bai Tingjun, knowing she wasn't its rightful owner.
Empress Bai Xue then summoned Yi Fuling and issued an imperial decree, naming her Crown Princess and forcing her marriage to Bai Tingjun. Refusing to marry a man she believed loved another, Yi Fuling defied the decree. Bai Tingjun intervened, fighting the guards to stop the forced union. Just in time, Yi Qianji, who was Ji Shu and Yi Fuling's father, arrived to rescue his daughter.
They escaped through secret passages, with Ji Shu sacrificing himself by destroying mechanisms and staying behind to confront Bai Xue alone, ensuring Yi Fuling's escape. Yi Fuling stumbled out of the passage and collapsed near Feng Tianyi's residence, Fengyan Du. Feng Tianyi, upon hearing she wouldn't marry Bai Tingjun, was initially happy, but an argument ensued, and he angrily drove her away or locked her out. Soon, regretting his outburst, he dispatched his people to search for her.
Meanwhile, Bai Tingjun pleaded with Empress Bai Xue to spare Yi Fuling. Bai Xue, however, revealed her grand plan: she showed him the Sky City, a massive floating warship under construction, designed to challenge the Winged Tribe. She explained that Sky City required vast amounts of Starflow flower pollen to fly and that Yi Fuling, as the embodiment of the Starflow Goddess, held the key to this power.
Bai Xue demanded Bai Tingjun marry Yi Fuling to secure Frost City's future and establish him as the ruler of the world, hinting at an impending war with the Winged Tribe. Feng Tianyi eventually found Yi Fuling unconscious from the cold and brought her to Fengyan Du, where he personally nursed her back to health, even catching a cold himself. When Empress Bai Xue sent guards to capture Yi Fuling, Feng Tianyi bravely protected her, driving the guards away.
Fearing public scandal, Bai Xue ordered Fengyan Du to be surrounded instead of directly attacking. Subsequently, the other residents of Fengyan Du found excuses to leave, leaving only Feng Tianyi and Yi Fuling within the besieged residence.
Episode 6 Recap
Empress Bai Xue holds Yi Qianji captive in a secret chamber within her Wushuang Palace, ruthlessly eliminating anyone who discovers him or fails to help her restore him to his former identity as Ji Shu. Their past is complex; Bai Xue recalls their years of shared feelings, now withered into estrangement.
She yearns to rekindle their past, not just to find the Star-Flow Flower Goddess, but to relive bygone days with her son, and is determined to bring Ji Shu back. Bai Tingjun infiltrates the Wushuang Palace and discovers Yi Qianji. He attempts a rescue but finds Yi Qianji bound by a 'Lover's Knot' tied by Bai Xue, which would be fatal if disturbed. Yi Qianji reveals that he planted the 'Bone-Corroding Nails' in Bai Tingjun.
He explains that the Star-Flow Flower Goddess cannot fall in love without immense harm, and to change this fate, they must find the Yang Pendant of the Flower God's Pendant. The world only knows the Yin Pendant points to the Star-Flow Flower Goddess, but the Yang Pendant points to her "calamity star." Only by killing this calamity star can the goddess find love.
The clue for the Yang Pendant is a cryptic message: "Light dies, shadow rises; tears melt cinnabar; flying flowers fall into mud; a thread of sky." Bai Tingjun agrees to search for the Yang Pendant, hoping for a positive outcome for himself and Yi Fuling. Unbeknownst to Bai Tingjun, Yi Qianji plans to use him to protect Yi Fuling, believing that if Bai Tingjun were the calamity star, his love for Yi Fuling would make him sacrifice himself.
Bai Xue, meanwhile, is enraged by her failure to restore Yi Qianji's face and executes all the sorcerers who couldn't help. Bai Tingjun feigns obedience, suggesting she use a close person to lure Yi Fuling, a ploy Bai Xue falls for, deciding to use Yi Qianji as bait. Meanwhile, Yi Fuling causes a commotion in the Winged Tribe's Fengyan Du trying to cook, only to learn they only consume raw food.
She attempts to leave to rescue Yi Qianji but finds the area surrounded by Human Tribe guards. After eating cold food, Yi Fuling falls ill with a fever. Feng Tianyi, setting aside his status, personally cooks a bowl of noodles for her, cutting his finger in the process. He outwardly denies his actions, but Yi Fuling, understanding his care, bandages his wound. Feng Tianyi teases her, suggesting she become his concubine, a proposal Yi Fuling firmly rejects.
She perceives Feng Tianyi's underlying sadness and longing for his deceased father, and her empathy touches him deeply, making him acknowledge her understanding. Bai Tingjun sends Yi Fuling messages via a butterfly letter, assuring her of her father's safety and promising a swift reunion. Feng Tianyi discovers Yi Fuling has a Star-Flow Flower mark near her ear. He confronts Bai Tingjun, who notices Yi Fuling's distinct bandaging on Feng Tianyi's hand, confirming she is with him.
Feng Tianyi provocatively claims to have taken Yi Fuling as a maid, leading to a fight between them. After settling their differences, Feng Tianyi reveals his true intention: to protect Yi Fuling. With a shared goal of ensuring Yi Fuling's safety, Feng Tianyi and Bai Tingjun agree to cooperate to rescue Yi Qianji and safeguard Yi Fuling.
Later, Feng Tianyi removes the bandage from his hand and treats Yi Fuling with indifference and sarcasm, giving her various tasks before locking her in the kitchen. Yi Fuling is confused by his sudden change, unaware it is part of Feng Tianyi's "big plan." Separately, Yu Haizhen reveals that the Flower God's Pendant has already opened, transforming into star-flow flowers, and then leaves after stating he ruined Feng Tianyi's life.
Episode 7 Recap
Upon waking, Yi Fuling learned that Bai Xue had withdrawn her troops, which made her realize Feng Tianyi’s harsh treatment was actually a protective measure to shield her from his negotiations with the human race. This understanding deepened her affection for him, although Feng Tianyi continued to speak coldly and confined her to Fengyan Du. Unbeknownst to Yi Fuling, Bai Xue had spread news throughout Frost City that Yi Fuling's father, Yi Qianji, was to be executed.
Bai Xue aimed to use this familial bond to lure Yi Fuling out. Feng Tianyi had been keeping Yi Fuling imprisoned and the news strictly sealed to prevent her from acting impulsively. He tasked Yu Haizhen with designing a torturous mechanism. Misinterpreting this as a device for Yi Fuling, Yu Haizhen injured the guards and secretly helped Yi Fuling escape in the night. Their escape was short-lived, as Feng Tianyi soon recaptured them.
Yu Haizhen, still believing Feng Tianyi was cruel, vowed revenge. Meanwhile, Bai Tingjun secretly met with Feng Tianyi to finalize a plan to rescue Yi Qianji three days later during his execution, keeping Yi Fuling completely unaware. Feng Tianyi made all the arrangements, intending to send Yi Fuling and her father to safety while he and the Winged Tribe bore the risk of war with the Human Tribe. Three days later, Feng Tianyi mobilized his forces.
Bai Tingjun, preparing to lead his Baiyue Legion to rendezvous, was drugged by Bai Xue right outside his palace. Bai Xue, never trusting Bai Tingjun's commitment to forsaking Yi Fuling, had prepared for his anticipated betrayal. At the same time, Yi Fuling feigned illness to escape her guards. As she was cornered, Yu Haizhen, who had overheard news of Yi Qianji’s impending execution, used his Liuguang Feihuan to incapacitate the guards and informed Yi Fuling.
They then realized Feng Tianyi’s previous actions were all part of his plan to rescue Yi Qianji. However, Yu Haizhen, still harboring resentment from his earlier misunderstanding, had tampered with Feng Tianyi's Liuguang Feihuan. Unwilling for Feng Tianyi to risk himself further, Yi Fuling decided to rescue her father herself. Bai Tingjun eventually regained consciousness and was informed of Bai Xue's treachery.
At the execution ground, Feng Tianyi, unaware of the changed circumstances, charged in with his troops and fell directly into Bai Xue's trap. Yi Fuling and Yu Haizhen arrived just as Bai Xue was forcing Yi Fuling to accept coronation as the crown prince consort. During the ceremony, Yi Fuling used a hidden weapon to take Bai Xue hostage, securing Yi Qianji's release.
However, this "Yi Qianji" was merely a disguised imposter; the real Yi Qianji remained imprisoned in a secret chamber. Bai Tingjun, rushing to the scene, shot and killed the imposter. Misunderstanding his actions and believing her father had been killed by Bai Tingjun, Yi Fuling was heartbroken. Feng Tianyi forcibly pulled Yi Fuling away, helping her escape the execution ground. Yu Haizhen valiantly held off the pursuing troops to ensure their escape.
The pursuers drove Feng Tianyi and Yi Fuling to a cliff. Feng Tianyi, who had taken an arrow for Yi Fuling at the execution ground and was gravely wounded, deployed Yu Haizhen’s fabricated wings, and together they jumped off the cliff, falling from mid-air. Unable to find their bodies, Bai Xue was convinced they were alive and ordered the city gates sealed.
During this time, a Western sorcerer, Mr. Jin, claiming to master face-changing techniques, offered Bai Xue a powerful drug called Black Tuoluo, comparable to the Xiu Luo Dan. After obtaining the drug, Bai Xue ruthlessly killed the sorcerer and then forced the real Yi Qianji to ingest the Black Tuoluo, causing his face to slowly begin changing.

Once Feng Tianyi regains consciousness, he reveals his and Bai Tingjun’s plan to Yi Fuling, who is already grieving and despairing over Bai Tingjun's recent actions. Although Yi Fuling suggests he return to Nan Yudu, Feng Tianyi firmly refuses. In Frost City, Bai Tingjun, still in a state of despair after a previous event, confronts Bai Xue. Bi Anhua loyally follows the now commoner Bai Tingjun out of Frost City, where he remarks that love is torment and removes something from his wrist with a knife. They are both forbidden to ever return to Frost City, with Bi Anhua diligently caring for his injuries. Separately, Yu Haizhen is captured and put to work in a mechanical workshop.
He deliberately causes a disturbance to be moved to a cell or secret room, where he uses collected parts or finds an exit mechanism as part of his elaborate escape plan. Later, as Feng Tianyi and Yi Fuling discuss their next steps, Feng Tianyi’s subordinate Ruofei finds them. Before he can finish his report, Ruofei is ambushed and killed by Winged Tribe assassins who then attack Feng Tianyi and Yi Fuling.
Providentially, Pei Yu, the Regent's confidant, arrives in a flying ship and rescues them, taking them to Nan Yudu. During the journey, Feng Tianyi is pensive, and Pei Yu mentions Feng Tianyi’s previous public disruption of a Human Tribe wedding for Yi Fuling, refusing Feng Tianyi's request to place Yi Fuling in Qiyang Palace.
Upon their arrival in Nan Yudu, Princess Xue Feishuang, who was preparing for Feng Tianyi's return, becomes deeply displeased and jealous upon learning he brought a Human Tribe girl. Yi Fuling, unfamiliar with Nan Yudu, is distressed when she witnesses Winged Tribe members brutally executing assassins (implied to be by wing mutilation) and is pulled away from intervening by Xue Feishuang, who is disguised as a maid.
As the disguised Xue Feishuang tries to subtly probe the nature of Yi Fuling’s relationship with Feng Tianyi, Yi Fuling, feeling lost and realizing Feng Tianyi’s reluctance towards Nan Yudu, unknowingly invites Xue Feishuang to accompany her to find Feng Tianyi.

Feng Tianyi returned to the Southern Wing Capital and swiftly punished Xue Su for corruption in the Unending Canal project. Xue Feishuang's brother, Xue Ling, who held significant power in court, defiantly pleaded for his cousin Xue Su. Despite Xue Ling's arrogant plea, Feng Tianyi ordered Xue Su's execution.
Yi Fuling, dressed in winged tribe attire, went to the Southern Dream Pavilion to meet Feng Tianyi, who thoughtfully prepared warm food for her, fearing she wouldn't be accustomed to winged tribe cuisine. Suddenly, Xue Feishuang descended, flying in on her wings, and performed the Phoenix Dance before them. Yi Fuling admired the dance, but Feng Tianyi appeared displeased by Xue Feishuang's presence. Discovering Xue Feishuang's identity, Yi Fuling was astonished.
Xue Feishuang then deliberately mocked Yi Fuling, making sarcastic remarks and extensively recounting her past as childhood sweethearts with Feng Tianyi. She imperiously demanded Feng Tianyi teach her whip techniques, but he rebuked her, and Xue Feishuang angrily left. While strolling in the garden, Feng Tianyi and Yi Fuling encountered Xue Su, who was still alive and strutting about with impunity. Pei Yu reported that the Regent had pardoned Xue Su.
Enraged, Feng Tianyi prepared to personally kill Xue Su, but Pei Yu blocked his path, reminding him of the late emperor's decree: all military and political affairs were to be decided by the Regent until Feng Tianyi reached twenty years of age and developed his wings. Pei Yu brandished the Regent's token, forcing Feng Tianyi to yield, leaving him furious but helpless. Yi Fuling awoke from a nightmare, having dreamt of Bai Tingjun.
In one dream, Bai Tingjun wanted to take her away, his hands covered in blood, terrifying her. In another, she remembered Bai Tingjun killing her father. Distraught, she retrieved the dagger Bai Tingjun had given her from beneath her pillow, filled with sorrow. Following music, Yi Fuling entered a quiet palace hall where a man was playing a melody using cups as a zither and water as strings, lost in thought.
Yi Fuling inadvertently disturbed him but struck up a conversation. She keenly noticed a flaw in the music, deducing a crack in one of the cups by listening alone. The man, intrigued, asked Yi Fuling to return the next day to be his "ears." Yu Haizhen, using crafted components, fashioned a tool to unlock his cell and escaped through a hidden passage. The passage led to where Ji Shu was imprisoned.
Recognizing the "Lover's Knot" securing Ji Shu, Yu Haizhen prepared to open it, having knowledge from the Abyss Sea's Heavenly Craftsmanship. Just then, Bai Xue arrived. Yu Haizhen promised to unlock the knot for Ji Shu when no one else was present. Bai Xue removed Ji Shu's mask, revealing his restored true face. Bai Xue recalled her youthful infatuation with Ji Shu, but Ji Shu revealed that she had destroyed everything.
He recounted how he had once built a secret chamber for their rendezvous, envisioning a Sky City that would allow Bai Xue, a human unable to fly, to soar alongside him. However, Bai Xue, desiring to become a peerless princess worthy of him or to inherit the throne, betrayed him by offering the Sky City blueprints to the Emperor. The Sky City then became a human weapon to provoke the winged tribe.
Ji Shu refused to assist Bai Xue in its construction, leading to their separation. Now, Bai Xue maniacally seeks to capture Yi Fuling to harness star flow pollen for her Sky City.

Bai Xue confronts Ji Shu, refusing to let go of her 18-year-old hatred. She asserts that Ji Shu forced her onto the throne, into an unwanted marriage, and made her ruthless, vowing to make him watch her dominate Lanzhou. Meanwhile, Xue Zhong prepares to cremate Ruofei's body, but Xue Feishuang and black-clad figures intervene, seizing the body. Xue Zhong, recognizing Xue Feishuang, reluctantly agrees to conceal her actions.
Feng Tianyi receives Ruofei's body and is distraught to find it bleeding from seven orifices. A physician determines Ruofei was poisoned with "Treading Blood Seeking Plum," a banned substance, implying Xue family involvement. Feng Tianyi vows revenge. Feng Tianyi summons Xue Lin to his palace, intending to execute him. Xue Lin displays arrogance and threatens that Regent Feng Ren would usurp the throne if he were killed for an unjustified reason.
Feng Tianyi, however, has four high-ranking ministers hidden to witness Xue Lin's treasonous boasts. Overconfident, Xue Lin confesses to accidentally killing Ruofei while aiming for Feng Tianyi. Feng Tianyi imprisons Xue Lin and orders his execution. Yu Haizhen visits Ji Shu in prison, who guides him to solve the "Lover's Knot" by revealing "the death gate is the life gate" and instructing him to reverse a specific movement. Yu Haizhen realizes Ji Shu's true identity and escapes with him.
Elsewhere, Bai Tingjun drinks heavily, muttering clues from Ji Shu's message. Bi Anhua finds him being beaten by a tavern owner and helps him leave, understanding his quest. Feng Tianyi awaits Feng Ren's execution order for Xue Lin but instead receives a letter containing evidence of the four ministers' corruption. Feng Ren blackmails Feng Tianyi, implying that if the ministers are discredited, their testimony against Xue Lin will be invalid. Powerless, Feng Tianyi is forced to retract the execution order.
Xue Feishuang prepares an elaborate meal for Feng Tianyi, but he doesn't appear, preferring to spend time with Yi Fuling. Enraged by this and his sister's interference with Ruofei's body, Xue Lin confronts Xue Feishuang, slapping her. He reveals his ambition to depose Feng Tianyi and forbids his sister from marrying the emperor, knowing her affections. Yi Fuling attempts to comfort a grief-stricken Feng Tianyi, who initially dismisses her.
However, hearing him cry, she returns to his side, and he finds solace holding her hand. Bi Anhua, interpreting Ji Shu's secret message "lights out, shadows born" as referring to the Seven Star Lanterns, infiltrates the Starry Sky Pavilion to break them. Bai Tingjun arrives and attempts to stop her, knowing the lanterns symbolize peace. The Starry Sky Pavilion Master, Yinchi, also intervenes.
Bi Anhua breaks one lantern and persuades Bai Tingjun to smash the remaining ones, which he does, thinking of Yi Fuling. The shattered lanterns emit an eerie red light, revealing a bloody flower totem. Bi Anhua and Bai Tingjun flee, but Bai Tingjun faints from his injuries. The elders of the Starry Sky Pavilion recognize the totem as the mythical Bi Anhua, signifying its awakening and the imminent appearance of the Star Flower Goddess.
Episode 11 Recap
The loss of the Flower God Pendant and the awakening of Bi Anhua signal the imminent awakening of the Star Flow Flower God. An ancient tale reveals that in primordial times, Star Flow Flower God Shaowu and human leader Pianyu fell in love. Pianyu created wings to fly to Shaowu’s Cloud Mountain but was punished by the High Priest and cast into the abyss of Leizhou Netherworld.
Shaowu, trying to save him, was cursed to die if she left Cloud Mountain. After three days of battle with the High Priest, Pianyu, near death, stained the Netherworld's Bi Anhua flowers with his blood. Shaowu, desperate to see him one last time, leaped into the abyss, dying in his arms. Pianyu also perished. Legend says Pianyu’s tears became Star Flow pollen, leading to the creation of the Winged Tribe.
The Yin and Yang Pendants uniting means the Star Flow Flower God will reunite with her lover, and Bi Anhua's appearance suggests her lover's arrival. The Starry Pavilion's only clue is Bai Tingjun, and they resolve to capture him. Bi Anhua meticulously cares for the injured Bai Tingjun, but he constantly murmurs Yi Fuling’s name, deeply saddening Bi Anhua.
She summons Tianyazi, the successor of Tianji Gate, revealing the Bi Anhua pattern on her back, identical to the pattern that appeared after the Seven Star Lanterns extinguished. Tianyazi confirms that the flower god's Yin Pendant has found its master in Bi Anhua and that the Yang Pendant, representing the Star Flow Flower God’s lover, will appear next. Bi Anhua mistakenly believes Bai Tingjun is this lover.
Tianyazi tells her that "a glimmer of hope at the horizon" signifies "a glimmer of life," and Bi Anhua already understands the meaning of "tears melt cinnabar." Bi Anhua was born in Tiannv Village, where the flower on her back was deemed a monstrosity. When she fell into depravity, a lecherous customer was killed by metal teeth that sprang from her back flower.
Pursued by others, Bi Anhua was driven to a cliff named "A Glimmer of Hope," where Bai Tingjun rescued her. Some cinnabar fell from her eyes, and Bai Tingjun encouraged her to cry, stating that tears would melt the cinnabar.
Bi Anhua now realizes that "a glimmer of hope at the horizon" refers not to a chance for life, but to the very cliff where Bai Tingjun saved her, and she is destined to fulfill the prophecy of "flying flowers falling into mud," a sacrifice. She believes Yi Fuling is the Star Flow Flower God and that she is fated to sacrifice herself for Bai Tingjun and Yi Fuling's love. Tianyazi, however, urges her not to sacrifice for others.
Meanwhile, Feng Tianyi prepares a grand sky funeral for Ruofei. Xue Lin objects, arguing that Ruofei is unworthy. Feng Tianyi insists on the ceremony, asserting his authority, and the eight noble families agree to perform it. Feng Tianyi laments his inability to fly and personally send Ruofei off. Xue Feishuang visits Yi Fuling, expressing her love for Feng Tianyi.
Yi Fuling explains her reasons for staying in South Feather City to reassure Xue Feishuang and voices her concerns about Feng Tianyi’s injuries and how he is constrained as Winged Emperor. Xue Feishuang reiterates her unwavering loyalty to Feng Tianyi and reveals that Regent Feng Ren holds sway over court affairs.
She explains that Feng Tianyi's actions, such as seizing Yi Fuling in Frost City, have strained relations between the human and winged tribes, providing Feng Ren with leverage to depose Feng Tianyi. Yi Fuling, not wanting to burden Feng Tianyi, decides to leave South Feather City. Yi Fuling intends to say goodbye to Feng Tianyi but, finding him at Ruofei’s funeral, decides to leave without a word.
However, the funeral is deserted as all the ministers have gone to Feng Ren's banquet. Yi Fuling learns of this mid-departure and returns to find Feng Tianyi. Xue Lin, dressed in vibrant robes, arrives to provoke Feng Tianyi. As Feng Tianyi is unable to fly for Ruofei's sky funeral, Yi Fuling appears with a kite, attaches Ruofei's ashes, and sends them soaring into the sky. Feng Tianyi genuinely thanks her for her actions.
Yi Fuling then regretfully informs him that she must leave South Feather City. Feng Tianyi takes Yi Fuling to his father's tomb, sharing painful childhood memories. He recounts his animosity towards his father after his beloved hunter hawk was trained to death, and the deep wound caused by his father summoning Feng Ren, not him, on his deathbed. Yi Fuling comforts Feng Tianyi. He then asks Yi Fuling if she would stay by his side until he truly becomes the Winged Emperor.

Nanfeng suggests she play this piece for the Regent's upcoming birthday, promising that if the Regent is pleased, he will grant her any wish. Yi Fuling is delighted and prepares to practice. Xue Feishuang discovers Yi Fuling's continued presence and that Feng Tianyi has confided in her.
Enraged, she confronts Yi Fuling, pushing over her zither (or breaking the one Nanfeng left). Though Xue Feishuang disdains resorting to foul play, her maid, Xue Qing, secretly plots against Yi Fuling. On the day of the birthday banquet, Yi Fuling finds her zither's strings severed. Her maid schemes to have Yi Fuling borrow the precious "Bi Tong" zither. At the banquet, Feng Tianyi and the ministers await the Regent.
When Yi Fuling arrives with the "Bi Tong", Feng Tianyi is furious and orders her removed. Her maid intentionally trips Yi Fuling, causing the "Bi Tong" to shatter. Just then, Feng Ren arrives, distressed by the broken zither, revealing his identity as Nanfeng. In her vengeful fury, Bai Xue poisons her own men and reveals her plan to destroy Lanzhou with Sky City to get revenge on Ji Shu, regardless of innocent lives. Ji Shu, determined to destroy Sky City, fights Bai Xue. They both injure each other with swords. Ji Shu manages to smash Sky City's central mechanism, causing it to collapse. Episode 24 Recap
Yu Haizhen's Flower Deity Yang Pendant lights up and merges with the Flower Deity Yin Pendant in Ji Shu's secret chamber. This causes the Starry Pavilion's Seven Star Lanterns to activate, signaling the Flower Deity's imminent arrival to bring peace to Lanzhou, but also warning that a pair of lovers will be torn apart. The elders realize both pendants are with Yu Haizhen.
Bai Tingjun travels to Sky City searching for Bai Xue, only to find it in ruins and discover the embracing skeletons of Bai Xue and Ji Shu. Chi Su then appears, showing him images of Yi Fuling and Feng Tianyi's loving moments. Overcome by jealousy and despair from losing everything, Bai Tingjun collapses. Bai Tingjun awakens to find he was rescued by Qi Luolin, who has assembled a group of extraordinary individuals with various skills, including Hu Po.
Qi Luolin persuades Bai Tingjun, now filled with resentment and having lost everything, to join his cause to rebuild Sky City, oppose the Winged Tribe, and unify Lanzhou. Yu Fei from Starry Pavilion takes the Flower Deity Pendants from Yu Haizhen, explaining that the Winged Tribe's Star Flow Pollen is running out. The Flower Deity and her lover, in human form, must reunite to awaken the deity, who will then scatter as pollen, but their human incarnations will vanish.
This sacrifice is necessary for peace. Yu Haizhen worries Yi Fuling will be the one to disappear. The Starry Pavilion elders, including Yin Chi and Yu Fei, discover Yi Fuling is the Star Flow Flower Deity and Feng Tianyi is her destined lover. They travel to Southern Winged City. In Frost City, after Bai Xue's death, National Teacher Tian Jizi attempts to seize power. However, Bai Tingjun returns, supported by Xiong Tang.
Qi Luolin kills Tian Jizi, paving the way for Bai Tingjun to be crowned as the new Emperor of Frost City. He then appoints Tian Yazai as the new National Teacher and integrates the skilled commoners into his court. In Southern Winged City, Feng Tianyi and Yi Fuling plan their wedding, with the Starry Pavilion elders serving as witnesses.
Feng Tianyi overhears the elders' conversation, learning that if the Flower Deity and her lover unite, the deity's human form will dissipate into star flow pollen. Feng Tianyi discovers that he and Yi Fuling are the reincarnations of the Star Flow Goddess and her destined lover, explaining his ability to fly without wing-holes. Unwilling to witness Yi Fuling's prophesied demise, he resolves to alter her fate. Meanwhile, Bai Tingjun, at the ruins of Sky City, expresses his determination to repair it swiftly before the Star Flow Goddess descends.
With Ji Shu deceased, he orders a region-wide search for Yu Haizhen, Ji Shu's sole successor, to complete the task within the tight deadline. General Xiong (also referred to as Xiong Tang) criticizes Bai Tingjun's increasingly cruel and ruthless behavior, fearing Tian Yazhi's influence. When she attempts to persuade Bai Tingjun to halt the search and dismiss Qi Luolin, Tian Yazhi intervenes and kills her.
Though distressed, Bai Tingjun accepts a calming pill from Tian Yazhi, who advises him to forgo virtue. Later, Qi Luolin suggests Bai Tingjun abandon his pursuit of Yi Fuling, but Bai Tingjun is consumed by a desire to defy fate and reunite with her. Tian Yazhi slaps him, asserting the principle, "My fate is mine to control, not heaven's," which hardens Bai Tingjun's resolve and character.
On the night before their wedding, Feng Tianyi brings Yi Fuling to their prepared new home, giving her a unicorn puppet as a symbol of his unique love and swearing to protect her even if it means being reviled. He harbors a deep sorrow, wishing for a simple life with Yi Fuling, who, conversely, eagerly anticipates their wedding day. However, on the day of the wedding, Yi Fuling is informed that Feng Tianyi has broken off the engagement and fled.
She pilots the Starship above the Southern Metropolis, searching for him. Feng Tianyi eventually appears but acts cold and resolute, discarding the unicorn puppet. To prove his love, Yi Fuling jumps from the Starship. Feng Tianyi initially moves to save her but then releases his grip, letting her fall, seemingly remembering the legend of the Star Flow Goddess.
Yi Fuling, protected by the divine power of the Star Flow Goddess within her, is unharmed upon impact and is found by Yu Haizhen, who quickly takes her away. With his wish fulfilled, he claims he no longer needs her, and confesses his love for Xue Feishuang.
Yi Fuling, realizing her Star Flow Flower totem behind her ear and her extraordinary hearing are due to her true identity, slaps Feng Tianyi in despair. He leaves decisively, secretly shedding tears of reluctance. Feng Tianyi later embraces Feng Ren, apologizing and admitting he might have to disregard the Winged Tribe's safety for Yi Fuling. Meanwhile, the Winged Tribe worries about their future without flight, as reports confirm Frost City's ongoing Sky City construction, escalating tensions. Star Realm Pavilion elders, attempting to meet Bai Tingjun, are instead drugged with tranquilizer by Qi Luolin and imprisoned in Frost City's dungeon as part of Bai Tingjun's scheme.
They later discover poison in their food but are saved in time, realizing the cruelty of their former disciple. Tian Yazi gives Bai Tingjun a Star Flow Flower Goddess Pendant, which, upon his touch, reveals Yi Fuling being abandoned by Feng Tianyi, prompting Bai Tingjun to seek her. Bai Tingjun, intent on taking revenge on Feng Tianyi and securing Yi Fuling, manipulates Yu Haizhen.
He shows Yu Haizhen the Sky City project and falsely accuses the Winged Tribe of killing Ji Shu, sparking Yu Haizhen's profound hatred. Yu Haizhen, heartbroken and enraged, vows to abandon his Winged Tribe identity, help Bai Tingjun repair Sky City, and wage war against his former people. When Bai Tingjun rushes to see her, she is asleep, repeatedly calling Feng Tianyi's name. Bai Tingjun, disfigured and suffering from the "Bone-Eating Nail" that prevents him from loving her, desperately tries to win her over. He forces a red bean bracelet she once made him onto her wrist, begging her to accept him. Yi Fuling fiercely rejects him, asserting that her heart belongs only to Feng Tianyi and cannot accommodate anyone else.
She tries to return a dagger he gave her, but he refuses. When she intends to leave the palace to find her father, Bai Tingjun tragically reveals that Ji Shu is dead, leaving Yi Fuling without love or family and losing all hope. He expresses his eternal love for her, but heartbroken, accepts her rejection.

Suffering deeply after Yi Fuling’s repeated rejection, Bai Tingjun became increasingly reliant on Tianyazi’s medicine and harbored intense hatred for Feng Tianyi. Outside the Southern Winged Capital, Yu Tongmu captured a human flying with mechanical wings. Feng Ren grew worried about the human's advanced technology when the envoy delivered Bai Tingjun's invitation for Feng Tianyi to meet in Frost City, threatening war otherwise. Realizing the Winged Tribe's physical disadvantage, Feng Ren planned to go in Feng Tianyi's stead.
Meanwhile, Yi Fuling learned Bai Tingjun had imprisoned three Starry Pavilion elders and secretly tried to steal the dungeon keys. Feng Tianyi, discovering Feng Ren's plan, confronted him. Determined to protect his tribe and unwilling to hide behind Feng Ren, he insisted on going to Frost City himself, eventually convincing Feng Ren. However, the escape of Fang Yeyan and the three elders, facilitated by Yi Fuling's efforts, was a trap orchestrated by Qi Luolin.
The elders, who had been poisoned with Seven-Poison Soul-Devouring Powder upon arriving in Frost City, were surrounded and killed, though Yu Fei managed to escape. Yi Fuling arrived too late, witnessing her master's death. Enraged by Bai Tingjun's cruel indifference and his blaming Fang Yeyan, she slapped him, utterly disillusioned. Bai Tingjun then confined Yi Fuling. Feng Tianyi arrived alone in Frost City. Qi Luolin informed him of Yi Fuling's presence, confirming Bai Tingjun's intent to use her as leverage.
Feng Tianyi, believing Bai Tingjun wouldn't truly harm Yi Fuling, refused to fall into the trap. He threatened Qi Luolin to lead him to Yu Haizhen and the Sky City. There, he found Yu Haizhen planning to crash the Sky City into the Southern Winged Capital. As Feng Tianyi prepared to kill Yu Haizhen to eliminate the threat, Bai Tingjun appeared, threatening Yi Fuling's life for Yu Haizhen.
Seeing Bai Tingjun actually choking Yi Fuling, Feng Tianyi immediately released Yu Haizhen and became Bai Tingjun's captive. Witnessing Bai Tingjun's ruthlessness, Yu Haizhen began to doubt his own judgment. Qi Luolin then drugged Yi Fuling, hoping Bai Tingjun would take advantage, but Bai Tingjun furiously killed Qi Luolin.
Driven by Qi Luolin's dying words, Bai Tingjun entrusted Feng Tianyi to Tianyazi, intending to use the Heavenly Secret Sect's secret technique to swap their identities, believing he could defy fate and be with Yi Fuling. Despite the warning that the changed person would not live longer than half an hour, Bai Tingjun proceeded. As Tianyazi performed the identity swap, the heavens convulsed.
Yu Fei arrived in the Southern Winged Capital to warn Feng Ren of Bai Tingjun's dangerous act and the impending human-winged tribe war. The swap succeeded, and Bai Tingjun, now in Feng Tianyi's body, used Yi Fuling's blood on the Flower Goddess Pendant to awaken the Star Stream Flower Goddess. The Star Stream Flower Goddess's awakening sent tremors across Lanzhou.
Yu Fei warned Feng Ren that the Sky City, now repaired, would absorb vast amounts of Star Stream flower pollen and crash into the Southern Winged Capital, leading to widespread catastrophe if not stopped.
Episode 28 Recap
The Star Flow Flower Goddess awakens, with Yi Fuling transforming and activating Sky City as the core fills with pollen. Yi Fuling, embodied by Shaowu, meets Bai Tingjun, embodied by Pianyu, reuniting after a century with an embrace. Yu Haizhen discovers that Yi Fuling's awakening as the Star Flow Flower Goddess will cause her annihilation, realizing Tianya Zi's deception. Feng Tianyi also awakens.
Tianya Zi reveals he orchestrated the fate swap between Feng Tianyi and Bai Tingjun, gloating about his plan to destroy both human and winged tribes for his "masterpiece." Feng Tianyi confronts Tianya Zi with the "Cloud Wave Umbrella" given by Feng Ren. Tianya Zi forces Feng Tianyi to consume a "Spirit Catalyst Pill," burning off his wings and forever robbing him of flight.
However, as Tianya Zi opens the umbrella, a hidden poisoned needle fatally strikes him, fulfilling his deceased master's final wish to eliminate his "rebellious" apprentice. Sky City begins an automatic collision course with Southern Xiazhou, its "Flame Core Weapon" threatening complete destruction. Yu Fei advises Feng Ren to evacuate, but with limited royal flying chariots, only a fraction of the winged tribe can be saved. Feng Ren prepares the Black Feather Army for a desperate final stand at Linyuan Platform.
Feng Tianyi, now wingless, finds Yu Haizhen. Initially, Yu Haizhen, still resentful, refuses to stop Sky City and has commoners led by Qi Luolin attack Feng Tianyi. Feng Tianyi explains that Bai Tingjun framed him for Ji Shu's murder, leading Yu Haizhen to realize the larger deception. Yu Haizhen helps Feng Tianyi escape the commoners.
Unable to stop Sky City directly, Yu Haizhen fits Feng Tianyi with mechanical wings and sends him to stop Yi Fuling and Bai Tingjun, while he remains to find a solution. Feng Tianyi arrives as Yi Fuling (Shaowu) and Bai Tingjun (Pianyu) are embracing. He pulls them apart and stabs Bai Tingjun, who awakens from Pianyu's embodiment.
Feng Tianyi reveals that a true kiss between the Star Flow Flower Goddess and her fated lover leads to annihilation, and Bai Tingjun collapses and dies. Shaowu's embodiment in Yi Fuling holds her memories, but Feng Tianyi uses their "Sky Grass Necklace" to awaken Yi Fuling. As Yi Fuling remembers him, she turns to ashes, perishing as Feng Tianyi was too late.
With Sky City imminent, Yu Haizhen realizes that removing the "Eye of Sky," which contains the Star Flow Flower pollen, might stop the collision. Feng Ren leads twelve winged warriors in royal flying chariots to ram Sky City, but its Flame Core Weapon defenses destroy their efforts. Yu Haizhen successfully retrieves the Eye of Sky but understands Sky City will only stop if the Eye of Sky leaves its main body.
He bravely jumps from Sky City with the Eye of Sky. The scattered Star Flow Flower pollen lands on his wing-holes, causing him to grow wings and fly, saving his life. Sky City disintegrates, and Southern Xiazhou is saved. Lanzhou enters an era of peace. Feng Ren abolishes the social hierarchy based on wings and erects a monument for those who sacrificed their lives. Feng Tianyi abdicates his throne to Feng Ren and departs Southern Xiazhou.
Believing Yi Fuling would not truly leave him, he embarks on a long journey on the "Starship," searching for her across Lanzhou. He stops aging, hoping Yi Fuling will recognize him immediately upon their reunion. Years later, he encounters a young girl resembling Yi Fuling, playing with a childhood sweetheart, reminiscent of Yi Fuling and Bai Tingjun's youth. At this sight, Feng Tianyi's appearance rapidly ages, and he leaves after a wistful look, as if history has repeated itself.
Episode 29 (Ending) Recap
The Star Flow Flower God awakens, transforming Yi Fuling. Shao Wu and Pian Yu possess Yi Fuling and Bai Tingjun, respectively, reuniting after a century. As Sky City activates and begins its automated approach towards South Wing City, threatening to destroy it with its fiery core weapons, Yu Haizhen learns that Yi Fuling's awakening means her annihilation.
Feng Tianyi awakens, learning from Tian Yazhi that his fate was swapped with Bai Tingjun's as part of Tian Yazhi's long-planned scheme for revenge against his former master. Tian Yazhi forces Feng Tianyi to ingest a spiritual stimulant, burning his wings and rendering him flightless. However, Tian Yazhi is then killed by a hidden poisoned needle in the Cloud Wave Umbrella, a trap set by his own master to punish him.
Faced with the impossible task of evacuating his people, Feng Ren prepares the Black Wing Army for a final stand. Feng Tianyi, now wingless, escapes and seeks out Yu Haizhen. Despite Yu Haizhen's initial hatred, Feng Tianyi explains how Bai Tingjun framed him for Ji Shu's death, convincing Yu Haizhen to help him. Yu Haizhen provides Feng Tianyi with mechanical wings, as he cannot stop Sky City's automated collision course, tasking Feng Tianyi to stop Yi Fuling and Bai Tingjun.
Feng Tianyi arrives to find Yi Fuling (possessed by Shao Wu) and Bai Tingjun (possessed by Pian Yu) embracing. He separates them and stabs Bai Tingjun, who then learns from Feng Tianyi that the Star Flow Flower God and her fated lover perish with a true kiss. Bai Tingjun collapses and dies. Enraged, Shao Wu (still possessing Yi Fuling) attacks Feng Tianyi, believing him responsible for Pian Yu's host's death.
Feng Tianyi attempts to awaken Yi Fuling, revealing Shao Wu's cycle of sacrificing innocent lovers. He heroically jumps from Sky City with the Eye, surviving as pollen grants him flight. Sky City then disintegrates, saving South Wing City. Peace returns to Lanzhou. Feng Ren abolishes the wing-based class system and builds a monument for the fallen. Feng Tianyi abdicates his throne to Feng Ren.
Feng Tianyi, now without wings, and Yi Fuling, no longer the Star Flow Flower God, embark on a journey together, finding ordinary happiness as they travel the world on their own feet.
