That’s when Cong Rong realized the person who had been following her and paying her tabs was Wen Shaoqing.
His homemade food even tempted Zhou Chengcheng, who urged Cong Rong to think carefully about how their relationship had developed, believing all of Wen Shaoqing’s actions spoke of love. Now that Wen Shaoqing had become her neighbor, he pretended to bump into her in the morning and delivered loving breakfasts—enough to make Cong Rong question reality. When Cong Rong asked about the symbol on his sticky notes, Wen Shaoqing explained it was the formula for dopamine, leaving her puzzled.
Zhou Chengcheng praised his soup and was surprised to learn that Wen Shaoqing wanted to become the ideal stay-at-home man, which shocked Cong Rong. Wen Shaoqing was about to ask a question about medical disputes when Cong Rong walked in. Director Yan quickly left them alone. Cong Rong told Wen Shaoqing not to participate in the competition since he already worked so hard. Cong Rong thought Zhou Chengcheng’s analysis was spot-on—Wen Shaoqing was intentionally using work to get close to her. Zhou Chengcheng apologized to Wen Rang for the noise from her renovation, and Wen Rang offered her a yogurt. Zhou Chengcheng opened up about feeling neglected by her parents, and Wen Rang said he felt the same—elders are all alike. When Cong Rong returned home, she found the electronic lock was out of power and couldn’t open the door.
Wen Shaoqing invited her to stay at his place and punished Rangrang by denying her cookies, making Rangrang feel out of favor. Cong Rong secretly took pictures of Wen Shaoqing cooking and thought of posting them to the hospital forum to make the nurses go crazy. Wen Shaoqing deliberately asked her to help him wear an apron; when their bodies brushed, Cong Rong was flustered. Wen Shaoqing’s cooking skills were indeed impressive.
