A short while later, Mi Qiao, overwhelmed by her fast-beating heart, urged him to stop and insisted on walking the rest of the way home alone, wondering if she was "sick again."
Benben was puzzled by her sudden change in mood. The next morning, students of Zhen Hua were called to school early by Director Pan for a run.
