Mi Gu's boss presented her with a business card, introducing his nephew, Liu Song, who had recently returned from Bristol after studying documentary making and was eager to start his own project. The boss encouraged Mi Gu to get in touch with him, subtly suggesting they form a closer bond. Mi Gu, out of courtesy, accepted the card. Meanwhile, Liang Muze returned to the site of a car accident after taking Xia Chu to the hospital.

There, he met Rao Feng, who informed him about the "City of Desire," a trading platform hidden deep within the Dark Web, and its connection to an account called "Scary Pirate." Rao Feng explained that "Scary Pirate" was likely an extremely dangerous individual with antisocial personality disorder, characterized by extreme aggression and a lack of remorse, making him incredibly difficult to track.

This individual was a crucial lead in several major cases, including the dead man found in the villa, Sang Kun's organ harvesting ring, and the death of Sang Kun's brother, Gui. As they spoke, Rao Feng received news that Gui's cargo had surfaced and a deal was set to take place at a bar that very night. Law enforcement and military personnel, including Liang Muze, Tian Yong, and Xiao Teng, prepared for a joint stakeout.

At the bar, they identified a suspicious individual, but soon realized this person was merely a decoy. The real transaction was scheduled for Yunshan Tunnel, prompting Rao Feng to immediately dispatch officers to set up roadblocks and inspect vehicles along the tunnel's route. Rao Feng's quick action was still a step behind.

The person at the bar, who was Long Yi in disguise, was indeed a diversion, and the true exchange of cargo occurred at Yunshan Tunnel, with Zhuo Ran pretending to be jogging and delivering the goods to the buyer. While jogging in the tunnel area, Zhuo Ran came across Liang Shaoxue lying unconscious on the road. He recognized the dress she was wearing as Xia Chu's and rushed her to the hospital.

Before she lost consciousness, Liang Shaoxue had glimpsed the buyer's vehicle driving by. At the hospital, Zhang Yichi successfully completed Liu Ran's surgery. Xia Chu thanked him for allowing her to observe the procedure, to which he cautioned that even after surgery, there was still a 25% risk of infection. Despite the warning, Xia Chu expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity given to Liu Ran.

Later, with her own phone waterlogged, Xia Chu borrowed a colleague's phone to call Liang Muze. As Liang Muze, Tian Yong, and Xiao Teng were on their way back to the camp, Xia Chu expressed her profound thanks to Liang Muze for securing the lung for Liu Ran and for saving her life underwater.

She apologized for her earlier harsh words following the incident with Zhuo Ran, admitting that she felt incredibly safe and reassured with him by her side during moments of danger. Liang Muze had the call connected via the car's Bluetooth, allowing Tian Yong and Xiao Teng to overhear Xia Chu's heartfelt confession. Their playful teasing embarrassed Xia Chu, who promptly hung up. Infuriated by their antics, Liang Muze immediately made Tian Yong and Xiao Teng get out of the car.

With only three days of leave remaining, Liang Muze was approached by Commander Dong Zhigang, who, aware of Liang Muze's interest in Xia Chu, lent him his car, encouraging him to treat Xia Chu well. After their conversation, Tian Yong approached Liang Muze, inquiring about Liang Shaoxue's condition. Liang Muze called Xia Chu to ask if she had seen his cousin, but Xia Chu, still fuming from the previous night's events, responded curtly.

Moments later, Xia Chu received a call from Zhuo Ran, who informed her that Liang Shaoxue had collapsed by the road the night before and he had taken her to the hospital. Upon hearing this, Liang Muze rushed to the hospital, his suspicion of Zhuo Ran deepening due to his presence at Yunshan Tunnel.

Zhuo Ran, in an act of provocation, pointed out that Liang Shaoxue was wearing Xia Chu's dress, claiming it was the same one Xia Chu wore when he and she shared their first kiss, a memory he still found alluring. Enraged, Liang Muze punched Zhuo Ran. Xia Chu quickly intervened to separate them, but Liang Muze grew even angrier witnessing her defense of Zhuo Ran, and he abruptly escorted Liang Shaoxue away.

Zhuo Ran then suggested Liang Muze had violent tendencies, expressing concern about Xia Chu living under the same roof with him. Xia Chu, puzzled, questioned how Zhuo Ran knew about her living arrangements, as she had never told him. Zhuo Ran revealed that Mi Gu had informed him. Back home, Xia Chu confronted Liang Muze, demanding to know why he had assaulted Zhuo Ran. Liang Muze remained silent, refusing to explain.

Suddenly, Liang Shaoxue, who had been feigning unconsciousness, "woke up" and clarified Liang Muze's motives, explaining his jealousy stemming from Zhuo Ran's remarks about their past kiss and Xia Chu's subsequent defense of him. Embarrassed, Xia Chu turned to Liang Muze, asking if Liang Shaoxue's account was true. Without a word, Liang Muze leaned in and kissed Xia Chu, leaving a wide-eyed Liang Shaoxue stunned as she quickly pulled out her phone to capture the moment.

After their kiss, Liang Muze whisked Xia Chu away for a delightful date. They went shopping for new dresses, played games at an arcade, and later enjoyed some desserts, appearing utterly content. Meanwhile, Liang Shaoxue called Mu Min, Liang Muze's mother, to report the passionate kiss she had witnessed between Liang Muze and Xia Chu, playfully suggesting that her aunt's wish for a grandchild might soon come true.

Afterwards, Liang Shaoxue called Tian Yong to assure him of her safety, before confessing her feelings for him. Tian Yong's teammates, who had been eavesdropping, immediately began to tease him relentlessly after he ended the call.
