Tian Jingzhi woke up the next day to an empty house. She rushed to Xue Lingqiao’s home and found Bai Lu pregnant, surrounded by everyone who cherished her.
In her dream, Xue Lingqiao, with his arm around Bai Lu, claimed he and Tian Jingzhi had broken up, and everything he did was for the child. Tian Jingzhi, feeling jealous, told Feng Dongdong he was disobedient for preparing food for Bai Lu instead of her, but he corrected her, stating the food was for Bai Lu. Annoyed, she asked if his "hands or legs would break" if he made a little extra. When Xue Lingqiao returned, Tian Jingzhi asked why he was cooking at home instead of watching over Bai Lu.
