Preface: Ye Han took a liking to a house. At first, he thought the rent was a bit high, but when a competitor also took a liking to the same house, he demanded to sign the contract immediately. Just as he was about to sign, he received a phone call and left in a hurry. Lu Zheng, who was supposed to be on his honeymoon with Guo Shengyun, also left quickly after receiving a phone call.

The next day, Li Xiaoxiao went to talk to Xu Jiacheng. When they talked about Ye Han, Li Xiaoxiao stated that she had already broken up with him. Her parents strongly opposed their daughter Xu Jialin being with Xu Yan and absolutely would not allow their daughter to marry someone who had been married before.

In order to have a chance to be with Xu Yan, she agreed to manage the company, and the employee named Lin Jia whom her father had always praised was her. She was capable of managing the company well and gave her father a detailed proposal. Xu Jiacheng told Ye Han that since it was the first phase of reform, he needed to go to Beijing for three months. Ye Han agreed without hesitation, using this to forget Li Xiaoxiao.

Xu Yan came to the company to find Xu Jiacheng, even taking off his wedding ring. Xu Jiacheng knew his sister's feelings for Xu Yan, but putting himself in her shoes, he dared not bet his sister's life. Xu Yan, Ye Han, and Lu Zheng gathered and discussed that Xu Yan would have to fight a protracted battle this time, as the Xu family would not easily agree. Xu Yan suggested isolating himself proactively, asking them to talk more with Xu Jiacheng. After Xu Yan left, Ye Han said that this Saturday was the anniversary of Zheng Jie's death, and they would gather every year. Even if Xu Jiacheng and Xu Yan fell out, he would definitely go.

Li Xiaoxiao suddenly returned to her hometown and learned from her neighbors that her grandmother had gone to a nursing home. Li Xiaoxiao hurried to the nursing home.
