Shan Junhao had grown fond of the simple yet fulfilling life in Guanmei, which brought him inner peace, especially with Ye Qianyu by his side. He gazed at Qianyu as she sorted goods, who playfully chided him for staring, noting her unwashed hair and dusty face after a day of deliveries. Shan Junhao, however, expressed his affection for her exactly as she was, finding a genuine sense of happiness in her natural state.

Qianyu teased him about his peculiar taste, to which Shan Junhao retorted that his strange preferences were precisely why he fell for her. Playfully, Qianyu feigned a punch, but Shan Junhao caught her hand and kissed it, then cupped her face and kissed her. Old Tang, witnessing the young couple's affection, discreetly retreated indoors. Shan Junhao then asked Qianyu to be his girlfriend. She happily agreed without hesitation, making him chuckle at her lack of reserve.

Qianyu, in turn, grabbed his jacket, pulled him closer, and kissed him to show him what being truly unreserved meant. Shan Junhao's mother, Jiang Caiyue, observing her son and Qianyu's happiness, reflected that sometimes the most unlikely pairings are, in fact, the most fitting. Meanwhile, Taichu's friend, 01, helped him investigate Marv. 01 reminded Taichu that Marv was cooperating with Senwell, not its own company, questioning his intense interest.

Their investigation revealed that Xu Ziqian was fully aware of Marv's money laundering activities yet continued the partnership. Furthermore, Ziqian planned to transfer all of Senwell's equity to Marv once the chain supermarket project, which was merely a test run, succeeded. Taichu relayed Xu Ziqian's plans to Shan Junhao and his mother, Jiang Caiyue.

Shan Junhao and his mother decided to meet with Fan Yunyi, hoping she could persuade Xu Ziqian to reconsider his decision and prevent the ruin of their ancestors' hard work. Shan Junhao and his mother explained the gravity of the situation to Fan Yunyi: Xu Ziqian intended to sell all his shares in Senwell to Marv, which was deeply involved in illegal money laundering. They warned her of the severe criminal liability Xu Ziqian would face if he proceeded.

Initially, Yunyi struggled to believe that Ziqian would knowingly participate in such activities, but after reviewing the communication records provided by Shan Junhao, she began to understand. She revealed that Ziqian had only told her he would swiftly finalize company matters so they could leave together. Realizing his hatred for the Shan family and Senwell might be driving him to dismantle the company, she vowed to persuade him to stop.

However, Xu Ziqian, excitedly planning their future, had already sent Yunyi emails with potential houses in Melbourne, including one in Toorak. When Yunyi tried to reason with him, expressing her concern about him destroying Senwell and getting entangled in criminal activities due to past grievances, Xu Ziqian dismissed her worries. He claimed Shan Junhao was merely fabricating lies to prevent him from selling Senwell, asserting that this outcome was Senwell's just deserts and the start of their new life together.

Later, Dawei brought Jiang Xiaoqiang, another survivor of the Changfeng yacht explosion, to meet Shan Junhao and his mother. Jiang Xiaoqiang, who had been the captain of Changfeng, clarified that the explosion was an accident. He recounted how Xu Yifeng, consumed by rage after being forced to transfer his shares by Shan Yaolong, took control of the yacht at high speed.

Despite warnings, Xu Yifeng couldn't avoid a submerged reef, leading to a severe collision, fuel leakage, and the subsequent explosion. Jiang Xiaoqiang affirmed that Shan Yaolong did not intentionally tamper with the yacht and felt immense guilt and regret over the incident. He expressed gratitude to Shan Yaolong for the care he received after the accident and offered to testify if needed. Shan Junhao's mother was relieved to learn that her husband was not a murderer.

Due to the conflicting accounts, Shan Junhao decided to confront Ding Yuanxun. He found Ding Yuanxun extorting money from Qiu Hanlin and Lin Zichao. During their conversation, it was revealed that Ding Yuanxun, a compulsive gambler, had been fired by Shan Yaolong years ago and was later bribed by Qiu and Lin to sow discord between Xu Ziqian and Shan Junhao.

Shan Junhao then confronted Ding Yuanxun, urging him to tell the truth and warning him about the untrustworthy nature of Qiu and Lin and the criminal repercussions of perjury. Ding Yuanxun, however, feigned ignorance and eventually fled, still attempting to demand more money from Qiu and Lin over the phone. Unable to dissuade Xu Ziqian, Zhang Minghan contacted Shan Junhao.

Shan Junhao informed him about the money laundering scheme and the impending equity transfer, revealing that Qiu and Lin were the orchestrators behind the scenes. Zhang Minghan expressed deep regret for having unknowingly been manipulated by Qiu and Lin, as they had used him to provide Xu Ziqian with a crucial recording that further inflamed his hatred. Vowing to protect Senwell, Zhang Minghan pledged to help Shan Junhao stop Xu Ziqian.

Shan Junhao proposed that if both Jiang Xiaoqiang and Ding Yuanxun testified, the truth could be fully revealed, but Ding Yuanxun remained at large. Soon after, Taichu called Shan Junhao with urgent news: Xu Ziqian had decided to move up the equity transfer signing with Marv to the very next day. Shan Junhao and Zhang Minghan realized they had to find Ding Yuanxun immediately to prevent Senwell from becoming a large-scale money laundering operation.

Prior to the signing, Qiu Hanlin and Lin Zichao met with Xu Ziqian, warning him that Shan Junhao was attempting to force Ding Yuanxun to change his testimony to obstruct the signing. They suggested that Shan Junhao was merely trying to reclaim Senwell because he found village life unbearable. They urged Xu Ziqian not to believe anything Shan Junhao said and to ensure the signing proceeded without any hitches.

Shan Junhao, unable to locate Ding Yuanxun, instructed Dawei to take Jiang Xiaoqiang to the signing venue ahead of him. Fan Yunyi made one last desperate appeal to Xu Ziqian, begging him not to go through with the signing, but he remained resolute and ignored her pleas. At the signing location, Shan Junhao and Jiang Xiaoqiang confronted Xu Ziqian. Jiang Xiaoqiang reintroduced himself to Xu Ziqian, recalling their past connection with the Changfeng yacht.

He then emotionally recounted the true circumstances of the accident, reiterating that it was an unfortunate mishap caused by Xu Yifeng's anger-fueled driving and emphasizing that Shan Yaolong bore no malicious intent to harm his parents. Shan Junhao further implored Xu Ziqian, acknowledging his father's wrong in forcing the equity transfer but asserting that he was not a villain. He urged Ziqian not to let others' manipulations lead him to destroy the legacy their fathers had built.

Xu Ziqian, however, stubbornly dismissed their words as a biased account. Even when Yunyi pleaded with him, pointing out that Captain Jiang had no reason to lie, Ziqian refused to listen. Shan Junhao then mentioned that another witness (Ding Yuanxun) was on the way and urged Ziqian to wait for him before making a final decision.

Ignoring everyone, Xu Ziqian declared that Shan Junhao had no right to lecture him and walked into the office building to sign the contract with Mr. Qin. Inside, as Mr. Qin presented the contract for signing, Xu Ziqian picked up the pen, but a flicker of doubt crossed his face, and he hesitated.
