Ye Hua's mortal tribulation concluded, and he awoke in Kunlun Void, where his brother, Mo Yuan, had been in seclusion. After their conversation, Mo Yuan returned to the Heavenly Palace. Si Ming found Ye Hua at the Heavenly Gate and hastily informed him of a major issue: Bai Qian had intruded into Pure Wutong Palace and taken Su Jin's eyes.

Now, a heated dispute was unfolding in the Great Hall, with some claiming Green Hill bullied Su Jin and others asserting Su Jin framed Bai Qian. Ye Hua was stunned, wondering if Bai Qian had remembered her past as Su Su. Worried, he tried to rush to Bai Qian's side, but Si Ming restrained him, explaining that only Ye Hua could settle this matter according to the Heavenly Monarch's words.

Calming himself, Ye Hua instructed Si Ming to summon his Second Uncle Sang Ji, Third Uncle Lian Song, and Yuan Zhen, who had just returned from his mortal tribulation. He also asked for a puppet named Su Su, who had served his mother in the mortal realm.

When Sang Ji arrived, he expressed his reluctance to seek justice for Yuan Zhen, believing he had already offended the Heavenly Monarch and Bai Qian had protected Yuan Zhen in the mortal realm without harm. However, Ye Hua insisted on redressing Yuan Zhen, arguing that it was crucial to clear his name for the future. Lian Song agreed, emphasizing the importance of understanding right from wrong for Yuan Zhen's sake.

With Yuan Zhen instructed to speak only the truth, Ye Hua led the group into the Great Hall, bringing the puppet Su Su with them. In the Great Hall, Su Jin was tearfully recounting her version of events to Di Jun, claiming Bai Qian had threatened her and demanded she guard Qingqang at Ruoshui River forever. Just then, Ye Hua and his party entered. Su Jin desperately clung to Ye Hua, demanding he preside over the judgment.

The puppet Su Su, kneeling before Su Jin, called her "My Lady," startling Su Jin, who denied knowing her. Ye Hua then revealed the puppet's true form to everyone, explaining that Su Jin had created it to tempt him during his mortal tribulation. He stated that using sorcerer's black magic to charm the Crown Prince was a serious offense. The Heavenly Monarch declared such an act punishable by removing immortality and demotion to livestock. Su Jin vehemently denied the accusation.

Di Jun then questioned why Sang Ji and Yuan Zhen were present. Sang Ji explained they sought to correct a past injustice regarding Yuan Zhen's judgment. Yuan Zhen proceeded to recount how, on the Heavenly Monarch's birthday, Su Jin had lured him to Pure Wutong Palace, used a spell to render him unconscious, stripped his clothes, and then cried foul play when he awoke.

He recalled seeing her hang a white silk before the Heavenly Monarch arrived to frame him further. Su Jin, however, maintained Yuan Zhen was lying and had intruded upon her bedchamber while drunk. Di Jun pointed out the inconsistencies in her story, highlighting that Yuan Zhen, being new to the Heavenly Palace, could not have so easily found Pure Wutong Palace, let alone Su Jin's specific bedchamber, to assault her.

He then asked Le Xu about the appropriate punishment for framing the Heavenly Monarch's grandson, to which Le Xu responded: "Remove her immortality and demote her to being livestock." Di Jun ordered this recorded, remarking that Su Jin had accumulated many sins even before her trial with Bai Qian. In a fit of desperation, Su Jin accused Di Jun and Feng Jiu of conspiring to falsely accuse her. The Heavenly Monarch sharply rebuked her for slandering a monarch.

Ye Hua calmly stated that as the Crown Prince, he would never side with anyone, but if he were to, it would logically be his side consort. Su Jin then bitterly accused him of always excluding her, claiming her kindness towards him was always ignored. Di Jun then declared that, given Bai Qian's noble character compared to Su Jin's deceitful nature, further trial was unnecessary and would only risk Green Hill's displeasure for believing such a woman.

The Heavenly Monarch, deeply disappointed, agreed, as did the other branch leaders. Le Xu, who had raised Su Jin, expressed her shame and urged for a swift resolution. Considering Su Jin's tribe's past loyalty, the Heavenly Monarch chose not to punish her for the puppet incident. However, for framing Yuan Zhen and attempting to frame Bai Qian, he condemned her to "spend the rest of your life in Ruoshui." Su Jin was then dragged away, crying out her protests.

With Su Jin's fate sealed, the Heavenly Monarch reminded Ye Hua not to delay his wedding with Bai Qian. He promised to meet the Fox Emperor to set the date. Though many congratulated him, Ye Hua felt anxious, uncertain how Bai Qian would face him now that her memories had returned. Le Xu, surprised to learn Bai Qian was the mortal Su Su, then asked about his wedding plans.

Ye Hua replied that Bai Qian had once said September 2nd was an auspicious day for their wedding. He assured his mother that regardless of past events, Bai Qian was the one he had been waiting for and he desired no one else. As the others dispersed, Feng Jiu approached Di Jun, asking if he would have liked her if he hadn't erased his name from the Three Lives Stone.

Di Jun evaded the question, saying he allowed her to ask but not promised an answer. Feng Jiu declared she would follow him until he answered, to which Di Jun indifferently assented. Di Jun then decided to return to his study instead of going to Ruoshui. Meanwhile, Bai Qian had returned to the Fox Den and coldly instructed Mi Gu that Green Hill was to be closed to all visitors, and she would see no one.

Ye Hua arrived at the Fox Den, and Mi Gu relayed Bai Qian's command. Ye Hua simply told Mi Gu to inform Bai Qian that he would wait outside until she agreed to see him. As Ye Hua stood vigil daily at the entrance, Bai Qian's past declarations of love echoed in his mind. Inside the den, Bai Qian sought solace in wine, but her worries deepened.

She pondered whether Ye Hua had married her three hundred years ago only because Su Jin had remarried the Heavenly Monarch, and whether his current affections stemmed merely from guilt over her leap from the Immortal Execution Platform. She told Mi Gu to inform Ye Hua that she would not see him and intended to cancel their engagement with the Heavenly Monarch the following day.

Ye Hua then asked Mi Gu to relay a message: if the maid he brought back from the mortal realm to serve his mother counted as a "romantic relationship," then did Bai Qian's earlier promise to bind him and lock him up in Green Hill still stand? Upon hearing this, Bai Qian furiously smashed a wine jar, exclaiming, "It doesn't count! Whatever I said doesn't count! Tell him to leave! I don't want to see him again!"

Outside, Ye Hua remained, unwavering in the cold rain, refusing an umbrella despite his previous injuries and weakened cultivation, his gaze fixed on the Fox Den. Later, Jia Yun went to the Peach Blossom Forest to implore Zhe Yan and Bai Zhen to persuade Bai Qian. He conveyed Ye Hua's critical state from standing outside for seven days, noting his severe injuries from refining a medicinal pill for Mo Yuan, which had nearly cost him his life and cultivation.

Jia Yun feared Ye Hua would die young if he continued tormenting himself. Bai Zhen dismissed Jia Yun's dire predictions. Zhe Yan explained that the matters between a married couple were personal and outside interference often made things worse. Both agreed they couldn't persuade Bai Qian and that she would "think it through."

Bai Zhen acknowledged Bai Qian's stubbornness and her pain as a High Goddess who had been tortured and lost her eyes, but believed she would recover in a few days. Zhe Yan, however, noted that Bai Qian's love for Ye Hua was evident. Concerned about the Donghuang Bell, Di Jun decided to personally inspect the Ruoshui River. He ordered Si Ming to protect Feng Jiu at all costs.

At Ruoshui, Di Jun's divine power had waned, preventing him from using the Soul-Pursuing Spell. Feng Jiu stepped forward, revealing that Bai Qian and Zhe Yan had taught her the technique. Despite Di Jun's hesitation, Feng Jiu insisted on using the spell, explaining that his own loss of divine power was due to events in the mortal realm. Using the Soul-Pursuing Spell, Feng Jiu was astonished to discover that Qingqang's spirit was no longer within the Donghuang Bell.

Meanwhile, Li Jing had spent several days constructing an altar in Grand Purple Palace. Winged Tribe generals were openly rebelling, demanding his abdication, agitated by the ominous red clouds in the sky, which they believed heralded the true Winged Monarch's return. Li Jing, facing mounting opposition, had planned for this. He recalled how Qingqang had used him and his siblings for "venom training," making their blood capable of summoning Qingqang's spirit.

Li Jing intended to use the altar to bring Qingqang back to the Winged Realm and put a definitive end to their father-son relationship, seeking peace for the realm after seventy thousand years of his father's tyranny. As Li Jing performed the summoning ritual, Qingqang struggled within the Donghuang Bell, eventually being drawn back to the Winged Realm. Qingqang angrily cursed Li Jing for daring to confine his spirit.

Li Jing, in turn, enumerated Qingqang's many crimes: being a vicious father who raised his son as venom, exhausting military resources and causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Winged soldiers seventy thousand years ago, and his willingness to destroy the Four Seas and Eight Wildernesses with the Red Lotus Fire.

Qingqang, reminding Li Jing of his parental kindness and their shared blood, questioned if Li Jing truly wished to kill his own father, also noting how much blood Li Jing had used for the summoning. Li Jing declared that their father-son relationship would irrevocably end that day. To Li Jing's shock, Qingqang managed to bring his Double-Sided Halberd out of the Donghuang Bell, vowing to take Li Jing's life.
