From a bronze mirror, Su Su's voice reached Ye Hua, filling him with dread. She gently told him she was leaving the Nine Heavens and asked him to care for their son, Ah Li. Su Su, trying to suppress her reluctance, confessed that she once imagined taking Ah Li to see the beautiful clouds and mist of the Nine Heavens, but now it seemed impossible.
She pleaded with Ye Hua not to tell Ah Li that his mother was merely a mortal, scorned by others. After saying this, she felt released from all attachments, leaving Ye Hua with one final request: "Just let me go and I'll let you go, too. From now on, we will not owe each other anything." Ye Hua, heartbroken, rushed towards the Immortal Execution Platform, knowing Su Su was there, desperate to reach her in time.
As Ye Hua raced, Su Su recalled their marriage vow by the Great Lake of Eastern Wilderness, where she had warned him that if he broke her heart, their vows would be voided, and she would abandon him forever. After her final words to Ye Hua, Su Su dropped the mirror, casting aside all ties to the Nine Heavens. She then leaped into the Immortal Execution Platform. Ye Hua arrived too late, witnessing her fall.
Without hesitation, he followed, plunging into the abyss. What Su Su did not know was that for an immortal, the platform would destroy their cultivation, but for a mortal, it meant complete annihilation. Yet, it was this very platform that shattered Su Su's seals, bringing her past memories flooding back. She was Su Su, but more profoundly, she was Bai Qian.
The moment Bai Qian's seals broke, Qing Cang, sensing the weakening of his confinement, stirred violently, attempting to escape from the Eastern Emperor Bell. Donghua perceived Qing Cang's movements and recognized their connection to the person who had originally sealed him, though he remained uncertain of the exact events that had transpired.
Donghua then decided to enter seclusion to recuperate from his injuries, explaining that he planned to go to the Mortal Realm to experience life's six sufferings and fulfill a past wish to stay with someone for a lifetime. He instructed his subordinate to record some predestined marriages in the Book of Fate for his upcoming mortal tribulation.
Meanwhile, in the Heavenly Palace, the Heavenly Monarch and others exerted their immortal powers to rescue Ye Hua from the Immortal Execution Platform, but he was gravely injured and unconscious. The Heavenly Monarch, disregarding his own safety, attempted to transfer his cultivation to Ye Hua, only to be stopped by Lian Song, who feared both would fall to the demonic path.
Lian Song knocked out the Heavenly Monarch to prevent his sacrifice, then departed with Ye Hua's father to the Eastern Sea in search of the Mythical Mushroom, strictly ordering that no one but the Medicine King be allowed near Ye Hua's chambers. Su Jin, hearing of Ye Hua's dire condition, rushed to his palace but was denied entry.
Zhe Yan, still pondering the striking resemblance between Su Su and his "Young Fifth" (Bai Qian) and the lingering scent of peach blossoms, returned to the Heavenly Palace to investigate further. He arrived to find Ye Hua severely wounded. Despite Lian Song's strict orders, the guards, knowing Zhe Yan's unparalleled medical skills in the Four Seas and Eight Wildernesses, risked severe punishment to grant him entry, hoping he could save the Crown Prince.
Once inside, Zhe Yan dismissed everyone, including the Medicine King, and began to heal Ye Hua. He noted the presence of Mo Yuan's aura within Ye Hua's body. Zhe Yan mused that if Ye Hua was indeed Mo Yuan, Kunlun Void had waited 70,000 years for his return. Even if he wasn't, with such a similar face, he believed Ye Hua deserved to live for the sake of the world.
After an entire night, Lian Song and Ye Hua's father returned, injured and empty-handed, having been unable to retrieve the Mythical Mushroom due to the powerful mythical beasts guarding it. Le Xu informed them that Zhe Yan had been treating Ye Hua all night. Zhe Yan emerged from the chamber and announced that Ye Hua's life was no longer in danger, but whether he would awaken depended solely on his own will.
He advised that someone deeply cherished by the Crown Prince should stay by his side day and night to aid his recovery. Le Xu despaired, realizing that the only person Ye Hua truly cared for, Su Su, had perished on the Immortal Execution Platform. Zhe Yan, hearing this, questioned if she was "that blind girl," further cementing his suspicions about Su Su's true identity.
Zhe Yan returned to the Peach Blossom Forest and discovered Bai Qian lying on the ground, covered in wounds. He quickly healed her, bringing her back to consciousness. Upon waking, Bai Qian immediately asked Zhe Yan for his special forgetfulness potion. Zhe Yan, concerned, asked her where she had been all this time. Bai Qian, in a somber tone, recounted that after sealing Qing Cang, she gained no advantage.
Instead, her memories and powers were sealed, and she was cast onto a barren mountain, where she endured a painful tribulation. Bai Qian expressed her desire to forget these bitter experiences. Zhe Yan, seeing her deep sorrow, warned her that his medicine was irreversible; once taken, her past would be completely severed from her. Bai Qian, however, was resolute, convinced that since the tribulation had passed, there was no need to remember any of it.
As Ye Hua remained unconscious, the Heavenly Monarch and his court grew increasingly anxious. Heavenly Monarch reflected on his past harshness towards Ye Hua, from forcing him into rigorous training as a child to separating him from his mother for 20,000 years. Donghua then arrived, offering a ray of hope. He revealed that the Sujin Tribe possessed a relic called the Soul-Gathering Lamp, capable of collecting an immortal's fragmented spirit.
This lamp, he explained, was buried with Su Jin's mother in the Sea of Innocence, the resting place of immortals. Su Jin, upon hearing this, volunteered to retrieve the lamp from her mother's crystal coffin. She traveled to the Sea of Innocence, retrieved the lamp, and then presented it to the Heavenly Monarch. She reminded him of his past promise, requesting to marry Ye Hua in return for her service.
The Heavenly Monarch conceded, promising to grant her wish if the lamp successfully revived Ye Hua. Donghua then instructed them to hang the Soul-Gathering Lamp above Ye Hua's bed for three days, ensuring the wick's flame did not extinguish, after which Ye Hua would awaken.
Back in the Peach Blossom Forest, Bai Qian consumed Zhe Yan's medicine, accepting her past experiences as an ill-fated romance that she now chose to erase, shedding her identity as Su Su from Junji Mountain of the Eastern Wilderness. Simultaneously, in the Heavenly Palace, a fragile vision of Su Su appeared by Ye Hua's wedding bed in his unconscious state. With a profound sense of finality, she declared, "From now on, there is no more Su Su in this world."
Ye Hua's eyes briefly fluttered open in agony before he succumbed to unconsciousness once more. Bai Zhi and the other elders of Qingqiu were deeply troubled, never imagining that Bai Qian's ascension to High Goddess would involve such a devastating love tribulation. Zhe Yan proposed that they conceal the truth from Bai Qian, telling her she fell into a deep sleep after battling Qing Cang.
As for her blindness, they would explain it was a congenital issue exacerbated by her injuries. Everyone agreed, believing it best for Bai Qian to remain oblivious to her painful past. Zhe Yan also requested Bai Zhi to obtain a light-blocking white silk from the Underworld for Bai Qian's eyes. Meanwhile, Bai Zhen playfully questioned Zhe Yan about his initial encounter with their parents. Zhe Yan recounted his affection for Bai Qian's mother, who, however, preferred the stoic Bai Zhi.
After a three-day battle that forged a bond of brotherhood, Zhe Yan yielded, allowing Bai Zhi to win the lady's heart. Bai Zhen teased Zhe Yan as an "old phoenix," which Zhe Yan swiftly countered by jokingly reminding Bai Zhen of his childhood displays of affection. Finally, after the prescribed three days, Ye Hua awoke from his deep slumber, yet he remained silent and utterly despondent, his spirit seemingly crushed by the weight of his recent experiences.
