Dance of the Sky Empire Episode 25 Recap
> Dance of the Sky Empire Recap
Yu Fengmu was preparing for his wedding to Su Youlian, and though he was visibly overjoyed, Su Youlian remained somber. His mother expressed concern that Su Youlian was not from the State of Sha, but noted Yu Fengmu’s increased happiness since Su Youlian agreed to marry him. During the wedding ceremony, Yu Fengmu presented Su Youlian with the Saintess Stone as a betrothal gift. Su Youlian understood that to awaken the Saintess Stone, she needed to consummate their marriage.
That night, while Su Youlian was bathing, Li Xuan broke into the palace and abducted her. Soon after, Yu Fengmu's subordinate, Batou, informed him that the princess was missing. Another subordinate then confirmed to Yu Fengmu that, as he had predicted, Li Xuan was the kidnapper. Fearing that Li Xuan’s intense hatred would lead him to harm Su Youlian, Yu Fengmu immediately ordered more men to find them. Elsewhere, Long Wei'er was also informed of the abduction.
Seeing this as a development within her own plans, she calmly instructed her subordinate that they must now wait. Li Xuan took Su Youlian to the Liang River. When she struggled, he asserted that she was no match for him and that killing her would be too lenient a fate. He snatched the Saintess Stone from her, declaring that he would prevent her from ever awakening the Dragon Emperor.
Later, as Li Xuan rested by the river, Su Youlian attempted to retrieve the Saintess Stone while he slept. However, Li Xuan was vigilant and intercepted her. He taunted her, accusing her of being unscrupulous and using others to achieve her goals, questioning if this was inherent to the Kunwu clan. Su Youlian admitted to having wronged him in the past but insisted she needed the Saintess Stone back.
She then activated her spiritual power, manifesting a pair of Kunwu wings, to fight for the stone. During their struggle, her wings malfunctioned, causing her to fall into the river. Li Xuan immediately jumped in and rescued her. After bringing her ashore, Li Xuan returned the Saintess Stone to Su Youlian and held her through the night by the river.
However, Su Youlian's condition worsened significantly by the next morning, forcing Li Xuan to carry her on his back in search of a doctor. They were far from the nearest town, but along the way, they encountered a young girl. The girl, noticing Su Youlian's severe injuries and Li Xuan's own ailing condition, offered to take them to her master in her village.
Upon arrival, Li Xuan desperately pleaded with the old master, offering his own life in exchange for Su Youlian's, but the master initially refused to treat outsiders. However, seeing Su Youlian's critical state and the Saintess Stone in her hand, the master relented and agreed to help them both. They were in Ping An Village, a unique place where both Kunwu and Human clans lived together in harmony.
As Su Youlian gradually recovered, Li Xuan confronted her about the past massacres, including the deaths of his schoolmates and the innocent civilians in Qingtian City. Su Youlian passionately denied responsibility, explaining that she had never harmed innocent people. She revealed that Xiao Fengming, not her, was behind those atrocities, explaining that the Dragon Emperor's demon spirit had controlled him during periods of low spiritual power.
She urged Li Xuan to ask Long Wei'er for confirmation, as Long Wei'er had extensive intelligence networks. Su Youlian reaffirmed her unwavering resolve to awaken the Dragon Emperor and reclaim her clan's homeland, imploring Li Xuan to trust her and not obstruct her goal. She pointed to the peaceful coexistence of the Kunwu and Human villagers as proof they could live without prejudice if given the chance. That evening, Su Youlian joined the villagers for a meal, continuing to seek Li Xuan’s understanding.
