Blossom in Heart Episode 47 Recap
> Blossom in Heart Recap
Before departing for a conference in the south, Lang Sinian called Lang Yueming and Lang Yuexuan together. He warned Lang Yueming against associating with Shi Jizhou and urged him and Lang Yuexuan to work together to overcome difficulties at Lang Liqun. Lang Yueming agreed to consult Lang Yuexuan, but his initial suggestion to cut costs by abandoning the Lang Liqun brand for contract manufacturing was rejected by Lang Sinian, who wished to protect the brand's reputation.
Lang Sinian then departed with Uncle Quan for the conference. Lang Yueming immediately sought out Shi Jizhou, correctly guessing that Shi Jizhou had intentionally arranged for Lang Sinian to be away. Shi Jizhou encouraged Lang Yueming to act decisively and quickly seize full control of Lang Liqun. Shi Jizhou also revealed a secret to Lang Yueming: Lang Yuexuan was Lang Sinian's illegitimate son with a maid named Yan Zhi. Everyone else was unaware of this.
Yan Zhi had later married Shi Jizhou, and on their wedding night, she confessed her pregnancy with Lang Sinian's child. Shi Jizhou further incited Lang Yueming to take control of Lang Liqun and promised to help him win back Gu Haitang, a proposition Lang Yueming readily accepted. Meanwhile, Lang Yuexuan was arrested by the police on suspicion of arson. Old Fan identified him as the culprit, claiming to have seen Lang Yuexuan enter Gu Haitang's house just before the fire.
Lang Yuexuan, outraged by the false accusation, was imprisoned. Feng Chunyan promptly asked Lang Yueming to seek Long Mohua's help. Long Mohua sought help from Long Deshui to rescue Lang Yuexuan and successfully got him out of prison. While in prison, Lang Yuexuan learned that Old Fan had suddenly died of a heart attack. Lang Yuexuan suspected foul play, but the jailer dismissed it.
Long Mohua also grew suspicious, suspecting Long Deshui of killing Old Fan, a charge Long Deshui vehemently denied. Upon returning home, Long Deshui warned Long Mohua not to get involved in others' affairs, as their own situation was precarious. Back home, Lang Yuexuan tried to investigate the fire at the Gu family home by asking neighbors, but Gu Haitang quickly left upon seeing him. Lang Yuexuan returned home burdened with worries, where Feng Chunyan showed him concern.
Lang Yueming, however, used Lang Sinian's instructions as an excuse to forbid Lang Yuexuan from interfering with Lang Liqun's business, claiming he was now in charge. Lang Yuexuan argued against this, but Feng Chunyan intervened to mediate. The next morning, Gu Haitang and Gu Xiahe arrived at the Lang family gate, setting up a mourning hall with their mother's memorial tablet. This immediately attracted a crowd, causing a stir.
Gu Haitang confronted Lang Yuexuan, demanding an explanation for her mother's death. She slapped him, accusing him of arson and stating that their father had also been harmed by the Lang family. Lang Yuexuan tried repeatedly to explain, but Gu Haitang refused to listen. Lang Yueming publicly promised to investigate and ensure the culprit would not be spared. Overwhelmed by grief, Feng Chunyan fainted.
Long Mohua had asked Long Deshui to intervene at the Lang family house, and Long Deshui, unable to dissuade her, dispatched his aide, Deputy Officer Ma, with people to disperse the crowd. Lang Yueming helped Feng Chunyan into a room. Lang Yuexuan still wished to explain to Gu Haitang, but Lang Yueming was convinced of his guilt.
Miaolan, deeming Gu Haitang's actions excessive, began setting off firecrackers at the gate and verbally abused her, attempting to drive Gu Haitang and Gu Xiahe away. Lang Yuexuan vehemently opposed this, arguing against adding fuel to the fire, but Lang Yueming supported Miaolan. Lang Qingqing tried to stop Miaolan but was misunderstood by Gu Xiahe. Gu Haitang and Gu Xiahe were startled and sought refuge. Long Mohua also arrived at the Lang family gate, and Miaolan quickly retreated home.
Long Mohua pacified Gu Haitang, then went to comfort Feng Chunyan. Later, Lang Qingqing openly criticized Feng Chunyan, Miaolan, and Long Mohua, accusing them of selfishness for only considering their own interests and not Gu Haitang's. Meanwhile, Han Ruibin came to Shi Jizhou, demanding payment for setting fire to Gu Haitang's house, which fulfilled Shi Jizhou's objective. He planned to leave Kunyang with the money. Shi Diwen overheard this.
Shi Jizhou instructed Shi Diwen to drive him and Han Ruibin to the bank to withdraw money. After giving Han Ruibin the money, Shi Jizhou pulled the car over in a secluded forest. As Han Ruibin stepped out, Shi Jizhou attacked him with an axe, knocking him unconscious. Shi Jizhou then ordered a terrified Shi Diwen to kill Han Ruibin. Under duress and physical abuse from Shi Jizhou, Shi Diwen reluctantly struck Han Ruibin.
Shi Jizhou instructed Shi Diwen to find a place to bury him. While digging a grave, Shi Diwen discovered Han Ruibin was not dead. Han Ruibin suddenly attacked Shi Diwen, choking him. In a desperate struggle, Shi Diwen struck Han Ruibin with a shovel, killing him, or Han Ruibin died after falling and hitting a rock. Shi Diwen then buried him.
Distraught upon his return home, Shi Diwen was unexpectedly praised by Shi Jizhou for his actions, who claimed that a person undertaking great deeds should not be concerned with minor details. Gu Xiahe vowed to avenge his mother's death, but Gu Haitang persuaded him to focus on survival first. Shi Jizhou visited Gu Haitang, feigning sympathy and promising to care for her and Gu Xiahe from then on.
Gu Haitang agreed that after arranging her mother's funeral, she would devote herself to restoring the Furong Gao. Shi Jizhou offered to provide a grand funeral for Gu's mother and help Gu Haitang seek revenge. Later, Feng Chunyan was startled awake from a nightmare. She saw a red-clad woman walk past her window and rushed out to investigate, but found no one. She then went to Miaolan's room, where she found Miaolan hastily hiding a red garment under her quilt. Feng Chunyan described what she had seen, and Miaolan suggested it was the "Yan Zhi ghost," but Feng Chunyan noticed the red clothing peeking out from under Miaolan's quilt.
