Gu Xun came to find Yue Qianling and invited her to join the Ninth Business Division. Yue Qianling asked if he was messing with her. Gu Xun asked if she really thought he looked like he was trying to fool her. Yue Qianling said she would seriously consider it, but after a while, she told Gu Xun she didn’t want to go. Gu Xun thought Yue Qianling was a good fit for 3A. Yue Qianling asked why he thought that.

Gu Xun took out the concept sketch Yue Qianling had posted online for Narrow Path. He told her the drawing was excellent and fit perfectly with the theme of Narrow Path. Gu Xun said business was business and personal matters were separate. Yue Qianling replied that the personal chapter was already closed, and as for business, she was also declining. Yue Qianling, sipping milk tea, talked to Yin Xue on the phone about it. Yin Xue thought she was still troubled by her feelings.

Just then, Yue Qianling remembered she hadn’t picked up her package yet and rushed out to get it. Unexpectedly, she ran into Gu Xun again at the package station. Seeing Yue Qianling carrying something big, Gu Xun offered to help. Yue Qianling said there was no need. Gu Xun said he meant he could help her carry the milk tea. That line made Yue Qianling furious again. She grabbed her package and left.

As the two of them were heading back, they almost bumped into an older lady downstairs. The lady said that Gu Xun, being a grown man, wasn’t even helping the girl carry things—was he acting as a guide dog? As the box was about to fall, Gu Xun quickly caught it. Yue Qianling told him to carry it then, guide dog, and Gu Xun responded with two barks.

Yue Qianling told him to bring the package to the back door—it was a doghouse for the dog. After they got there, Gu Xun told Yue Qianling to go back first, and he would set up the doghouse. Since he said that, Yue Qianling left. She stood upstairs watching Gu Xun work from day into night. Yue Qianling called Yin Xue and said it really ought to be raining right now—and just as she said it, the sky opened up.

Yue Qianling couldn’t bear it. She grabbed an umbrella and went to where the doghouse was being set up. She didn’t see Gu Xun and muttered to herself that she knew he wouldn’t stay there the whole time. Just as she turned around, she saw Gu Xun coming with an umbrella. He asked Yue Qianling why she was there.

Yue Qianling said she was there to inspect his work. Gu Xun said he had just gone to get a flashlight. As Yue Qianling was about to leave, she saw Gu Xun struggling to build the doghouse while holding the umbrella. She turned back to hold the umbrella for him. Yue Qianling told Gu Xun not to turn around—if he needed anything, he should just tell her.

Yue Qianling logged into her game account and asked her online friend whether she should go to the Ninth Division. Both Camel and Jiang Junnan used reverse psychology, telling Little Twist—Yue Qianling—not to go. Gu Xun asked her if she really wanted to go to 3A. Yue Qianling said she studied art, loved gaming, and also played 3A games. She had started gaming because of Gu Xun. Campus Heartthrob—Gu Xun—said that if he had known that, he would’ve been very gratified.

Jiang Junnan brought Chen Xinyi to hold a meeting with the streamers for Narrow Path. The streamers felt that most domestic games were just copying each other and didn’t know if Narrow Path would be the same. Chen Xinyi explained what made Narrow Path different, and the streamers were convinced. They were all looking forward to the game’s release and wanted to add Chen Xinyi as a friend. Because she was too shy, there was a small awkward moment, and Jiang Junnan ended up paying for game gear for each of them out of his own pocket. He told Chen Xinyi that if there was anything she didn’t know at work, he would teach her—but she couldn’t back out.

Yue Qianling couldn’t find her food delivery, and Gu Xun overheard. He asked if she wanted him to go with her to check the surveillance footage—maybe they could find it. Yue Qianling said if she found out who took it, she’d kill him. It turned out Gu Xun had taken the wrong delivery. Yue Qianling said she had grabbed the limited-edition Empresses in the Palace meal set. Gu Xun said he’d collect the whole set for her if she would consider his proposal.

Gu Xun gave Yue Qianling the complete Empresses in the Palace set, and Yue Qianling came to the Ninth Business Division. When she arrived, Gu Xun had just logged into the game. Afraid she’d see his username was Campus Heartthrob, Gu Xun quickly pinned Yue Qianling against the wall.
