Xing Keyao told Shao Yuhan that she actually had the digital camera and suggested they go to her place to get it. Shao Yuhan hesitated but eventually agreed. As the two returned home, they ran into Xing Kelei and Mi Ka in the elevator. Seeing Shao Yuhan and Xing Keyao coming home together, Xing Kelei and Mi Ka both looked gossipy. After they all got home, Xing Keyao brought Shao Yuhan inside to get the camera.
Xing Kelei and Mi Ka joked at the door, thinking their relationship had progressed and Xing Kelei even joked he might start calling Shao Yuhan “brother-in-law.” Meanwhile, inside the room, unaware of their teasing, Shao Yuhan noticed a box in Xing Keyao’s room and found it filled with memories from their university days. When Xing Kelei saw that Shao Yuhan still hadn’t come out, he used that as an excuse to stay over at Mi Ka’s place.
After working hard for so long, he finally got his wish and moved back in with Mi Ka. Shu Wenbo and Xing Kelei were dining together when Shu Wenbo asked about Xing Kelei’s recovery and whether he could still participate in the combat competition. Influenced by Mi Ka, Xing Kelei was now in a much better mental state and no longer obsessed with winning. He optimistically said if he couldn’t join this year, he would join next year.
Shu Wenbo then asked about his plans with Mi Ka and whether he had considered becoming a police instructor. Xing Kelei said he still wanted to be on the front line. Xing Kelei said he couldn’t think that far ahead right now and would just see how things go. As they were talking, Lu Feng suddenly showed up and started yelling at Shu Wenbo, asking whether he liked Ruan Qingxia. If not, he shouldn’t keep entangling with her. After hanging up, she grew curious about what was going on with Shu Wenbo, so Xing Kelei told her about Lu Feng’s situation. After returning home, a pair of sisters suddenly stopped Xing Kelei.
They were the daughters of Captain Shen, one of Xing Kelei’s benefactors. Since Captain Shen passed away, the sisters’ lives hadn’t been going well. The older sister, Shen Jianing, had been in a car accident and was still in a wheelchair due to a spinal injury. Shen Jianan explained their situation and asked if they could stay at Xing Kelei’s place to save money. Xing Kelei’s expression changed, and he said he would book them a hotel near the hospital.

Meanwhile, Mi Ka, who was in the kitchen, was already full of jealousy and didn’t want to talk to Xing Kelei. After dinner, Xing Kelei took Shen Jianing and Shen Jianan to the hotel. The two sisters weren’t as simple and kind as they seemed.
They had lost all their money in business and wanted Xing Kelei to spend money to heal Shen Jianing’s legs out of past sentiment. Now that they realized Xing Kelei had Mi Ka, Shen Jianing planned to ruin their relationship. She deliberately asked Xing Kelei to buy medicine for her, making him return late, hoping to build up conflict between him and Mi Ka. After buying the medicine, Shen Jianan asked Xing Kelei to stay and keep Shen Jianing company.
Before Xing Kelei returned, Mi Ka received a call from Ruan Qingxia. After learning about the Shen sisters, Ruan Qingxia advised Mi Ka to be cautious and said Shen Jianing was definitely up to something.
