When Shao Yuhan and Xing Keyao saw that everyone else had gone out, they stayed behind to prepare the ingredients for the evening barbecue. As they worked, they chatted. Xing Keyao mentioned that after breaking up with Shao Yuhan, she even learned how to cook. She then volunteered to cook some noodles. While eating, they reminisced about the past, both feeling emotional. Xing Keyao subtly asked if Shao Yuhan had dated anyone over the past few years.
Shao Yuhan denied it. Xing Keyao then asked what he thought of Mi Ka. Shao Yuhan praised Mi Ka, saying she had an innate talent for being a doctor and that she reminded him of how Xing Keyao used to be. After climbing the mountain, Ruan Qingxia and Shu Wenbo prepared to head back. On the way down, Ruan Qingxia accidentally twisted her ankle.
She intended to pretend she couldn't walk so that Shu Wenbo would carry her back, but after checking her foot, Shu Wenbo said it wasn’t serious. This left Ruan Qingxia disappointed. She quickly claimed she couldn’t walk, but Shu Wenbo didn’t pick up on her hint. He left her there, saying he would go get the car and come back for her. After bringing Ruan Qingxia back, Shu Wenbo hurried to get ice to help with the swelling.
After dinner, Mi Ka suggested they play Truth or Dare and used the chance to ask about the relationship between Xing Keyao and Shao Yuhan. After questioning them, Ruan Qingxia gave Mi Ka a signal, prompting her to ask Shu Wenbo if he liked Ruan Qingxia. Unexpectedly, Shu Wenbo chose Dare. Mi Ka asked him to call the fifth person on his recent calls list and reveal a secret. The fifth person turned out to be Lu Feng.
When Shu Wenbo put the call on speaker, before he could say anything, Lu Feng began talking about how he had tried to ask Ruan Qingxia out but failed, and said he was determined to pursue her. Xing Kelei tried to stop Lu Feng, but Lu Feng said even Shu Wenbo had no objection. Mi Ka quickly hung up the phone. Ruan Qingxia was very disappointed by what Lu Feng said and by Shu Wenbo’s silence.
Seeing the awkward atmosphere, Xing Keyao suggested Xing Kelei bring out the cake, only to hear that he forgot to prepare it. Mi Ka was disappointed but tried to act like it didn’t matter. That night, Mi Ka received a message from Xing Kelei inviting her out for a walk. She thought he had prepared a surprise for her, but nothing happened at first.
Just when Mi Ka thought Xing Kelei hadn’t prepared anything, he led her to an open area where he had set up a birthday surprise and gifts. Inside each crystal ball was a note with a message from Xing Kelei to Mi Ka. As she read each one, Mi Ka was deeply moved and turned to tightly hug Xing Kelei.
After Mi Ka and Xing Kelei left, Xing Keyao and Shao Yuhan sat by the pool, watching the stars and chatting. They talked about the past. Suddenly, Xing Keyao said she somewhat regretted not becoming a doctor. Back then, she had to leave to take over the family business because her father was sick, but she had hoped Shao Yuhan would ask her to stay.
Shao Yuhan, however, couldn’t selfishly make her stay, knowing that taking over the family business was the right solution. As adults, they couldn’t act on impulse. When Xing Keyao saw Shao Yuhan wouldn’t ask her to stay, she left. In truth, both still had feelings for each other. Shao Yuhan even suggested they hang out with Yi Qian and the others once they got back.
