With deep affection, Xu Tian slowly took a ring out of his pocket and proposed to Jia Xiaoduo. However, Jia Xiaoduo did not immediately and happily put on the ring. Instead, her face was full of anticipation, as she looked forward to Monday—a day of special significance for her. Afterwards, the two of them walked hand in hand to the bridge, quietly gazing at the picturesque scenery in the distance.

In that moment, they seemed to forget everything around them, seeing only each other, their emotions silently filling the air. Xu Tian suddenly had an idea and suggested that they keep their relationship a secret and not make it public. He even solemnly created a secret code for communication, agreeing that they could find each other at this very place in the future. In addition, Xu Tian had prepared a surprise gift for Jia Xiaoduo.

With great anticipation, Jia Xiaoduo opened the car trunk and was greeted by a bouquet of dewy, beautiful roses. But just as this romantic and warm moment was unfolding, an accident occurred—Xu Tian’s car suddenly reversed by itself, and the unprepared Jia Xiaoduo was struck into the river. Seeing this, Xu Tian was overwhelmed with anxiety and immediately jumped into the river to save her, only to discover that the river had somehow frozen over.

This sudden development made the situation even more critical. Xu Tian slowly regained consciousness. Once his mind cleared, he clearly felt that Jia Xiaoduo’s personality was no longer inside his body. Seeing this, Shi Yiben quickly handed him a glass of water and smiled, explaining that this treatment had lasted the longest. From the moment Xu Tian filled out the form, he had keenly sensed that the primary personality—Xu Tian—had finally returned.

It turned out that Xu Tian had previously altered his test answers because, deep down, he did not want to expel Jia Xiaoduo’s personality. But now things had changed—he and Jia Xiaoduo’s personalities could no longer coexist in the same body, and a happy ending was destined to be out of reach. Previously, Jia Xiaoduo’s personality had nearly completely replaced Xu Tian’s. Although his appearance had not changed, his habits and consciousness had already fully become Jia Xiaoduo’s.

Xu Tian began the formal process of discharge. Shi Yiben, very enthusiastic, took the initiative to contact Xu Tian’s sister to pick him up at the hospital. He quietly packed his belongings, yet Jia Xiaoduo’s familiar presence lingered in the air. At that moment, he could no longer suppress his longing and sorrowfully broke down in tears. Shi Yiben prescribed a one-month course of medication for Xu Tian.

After taking the medicine, Xu Tian lay quietly on the bed, his thoughts surging. As night fell and after tidying up the ward, he clutched Jia Xiaoduo’s photo tightly and quietly left the hospital. Xu Tian deeply loved Jia Xiaoduo, even though she was not a real person. He sat at the hospital entrance, silently waiting for his sister to arrive. She told him she would be leaving the next day and wouldn’t return home.

Xu Tian, however, didn’t seem to care as expected. Instead, he softly said he was going to marry Jia Xiaoduo and solemnly stated that the ring was in the car. But that car hadn’t been used for three months. His sister felt he hadn’t recovered and helplessly said that no one would bring him back to the hospital in the future. Yet Xu Tian firmly declared that he would not return again—he would hide Jia Xiaoduo in his heart.

After his sister left, Xu Tian walked alone to the dust-covered car. He slowly wiped the car door, then opened it, his gaze falling on the medical records inside. Memories of the past surged like a tide. He opened the box, and inside lay a ring, which he clutched tightly as he walked toward the bridge where Jia Xiaoduo had fallen. At the bridge, he resolutely poured out the medication Shi Yiben had prescribed, thinking only of finding Jia Xiaoduo.

At that moment, a butterfly fluttered by, and the lights flickered. To his surprise and delight, he found a note written by Jia Xiaoduo at the bridge. Xu Tian looked up at the sky and tenderly promised to hide Jia Xiaoduo in the softest part of his heart, to "live with her" from then on, and remain lovingly together.
