He also revealed that Sheng Huainan's grandpa was critically ill and might be hospitalized.
Despite the strained atmosphere, Sheng Huainan confessed to his mother that he was dating Luo Zhi and deeply cared for her. His mother, however, was displeased, expressing her disapproval and questioning the timing of such a relationship. Meanwhile, Luo Zhi's mother noticed her daughter's newfound cheerfulness and asked if she had a boyfriend. Zhu Yan explained her estranged relationship with the Sheng family but thanked Luo Zhi for unknowingly facilitating her renewed connection with Sheng Huainan.
