His actual origin involved being excreted by an old Taoist priest whose constant practice of alchemy imbued him with a trace of divine aura, allowing him to gain wisdom and become a demon. He clarified that his use of date seed pendants to draw human essence was minor and driven by a desire for greater power, not malicious intent.
