Gong Mulie confronted Wuchun, accusing her of breaking a promise and forgetting him. Wuchun claimed she was occupied, training daily as the next Mother of Earth. However, Gong Mulie countered, revealing he had been secretly observing her and knew she had plenty of time. He pressed her, asking if she thought of him daily, and she admitted that she did. He then demanded to know why she never came to find him. Wuchun remained silent, unable to explain.

At that moment, Chongming appeared, clarifying that Wuchun was neither hypocritical nor cowardly; Chongming herself had forbidden Wuchun from seeing him. Chongming revealed that Gong Mulie’s mother, Xuan Luo, a valorous general of the God Race, broke a taboo by falling in love with Gongmu Hao of the Gongmu family and giving birth to Gong Mulie. Gong Mulie's dual bloodlines, one human and one from the Divine Race, could not merge, with the ruthless Divine Race blood dominating.

Chongming explained that Xuan Luo was cursed by the God Race for her transgression, her hair turning gray overnight, causing her to age rapidly. Before her disappearance, she entrusted Gong Mulie to Chongming to be raised by the Gongmu family. Chongming also disclosed that the attempts on Gong Mulie's life were by human forces from the Golden Force of the Surah Realm.

Chongming emphasized that the Mother of Earth and the son of the God of War could not fall in love, warning that if their affection became known, disaster would strike before they could truly be together. She left the decision of their future to them: to fight for their love or to forget each other.

Wuchun confessed that she hadn't dared to seek him out, not due to her mother’s prohibition, but because she feared he had forgotten her, especially after seeing him constantly accompanied by Night Fairy while he cultivated with the Spirit Pattern Pillar. She admitted she had been secretly watching him too. Meanwhile, Duan Qianjie, having awakened as the son of the Master of Spells, recalled his past.

He explained that his father, angered by his love-related cultivation failure, sealed him in the Gongmu family's Spirit Pattern Pillar for self-cultivation. Duan Qianjie believed Xie Jingxuan was Sang Ying, a woman he loved ten thousand years ago, who had returned to demand a debt.

Xie Jingxuan, perplexed by his accusations, proposed they settle their past by traveling to the Graveyard of Gods using the Demon Sealing Tombstone to destroy Jiang Yan's remains, promising that if they succeeded, their debt would be cleared. At the Graveyard of Gods, as Xie Jingxuan prepared to act, Du Shaoyang appeared. Having learned directly from Jiang Yan and absorbed all the voodoo master's remaining voodoo energy, Du Shaoyang had become powerful enough to defeat Duan Qianjie.

Seeing Duan Qianjie in peril, Xie Jingxuan used Duan Qianjie's father's boomerang to strike Du Shaoyang, but she intentionally held back, leaving him a chance to live. Du Shaoyang, realizing she hadn't used her full strength, quickly recovered and continued his attack on Duan Qianjie.

As Duan Qianjie prepared to deliver a fatal blow with the boomerang, Xie Jingxuan leapt in front of Du Shaoyang, shielding him, and used her remaining strength to push him away from the Graveyard of Gods. Duan Qianjie was stunned by accidentally killing Xie Jingxuan. As she lay dying, she implored him to remember the love and life he owed her and to grant Du Shaoyang a final chance to atone.

She explained that true love was not about forgetting, but about burying it deep in one's heart. Through her sacrifice, Duan Qianjie was enlightened, realizing that Xie Jingxuan was not Sang Ying and that he had finally overcome his love tribulation. He found a quiet spot in the snow-capped mountains and buried her, then turned and left.

Observing the scene, Hua Tianqiong noted that Xie Jingxuan’s death allowed Duan Qianjie to comprehend love, in effect granting her a form of rebirth. In the Deserted Spirits Realm, Tian Zun appeared and accused Wuchun of spreading rumors about Gongmu Hao, the God of War, being alive. Chongming fiercely defended Wuchun, calling it a false accusation and suggesting Tian Zun's true motive was the Scripture of the Nine Hells.

Tian Zun sentenced Wuchun to the Six Heaven Fire Formation, which could either kill her or strip her of her cultivation. Gong Mulie, after dealing with Night Fairy using his spirit pattern pillars, rushed to Wuchun’s aid. He confronted Tian Zun, stating that Wuchun was merely searching for her father, not spreading rumors, and challenged Tian Zun's unreasonable ban on entering the Deserted Spirits Realm.

Gong Mulie then unleashed Sheng Xie, fighting against Tian Zun's Six Heaven Fire Formation, causing widespread chaos. Chongming struggled to protect her people from the fire. Gong Mulie, intent on saving Wuchun, bravely entered the formation, planning to use the power of the Divine Race to break it. Wuchun revealed that only the Scripture of the Nine Hells could break the formation, but it would cost her all her cultivation.

Knowing Gong Mulie's stubborn nature, Wuchun urged him to forget her, believing that a brief reunion after ten years of longing was not worth his life. Gong Mulie refused, asserting that even a single moment with her was a lifetime. Wuchun, using a dagger to draw her blood, cast a Forbidden Curse on Gong Mulie with the royal blood of the Nether Race, decreeing that he would never love her unless he hated her.

She then used the Scripture of the Nine Hells to break the Six Heaven Fire Formation, but in doing so, lost all her cultivation. After the formation was broken, Gong Mushan and Hua Tianqiong appeared to intercede. Hua Tianqiong argued that further conflict would be detrimental, reminding Tian Zun of the heavy losses from the previous war between humans and the Divine Race.

Considering the overall situation, Tian Zun agreed to spare Gong Mulie's life but decreed that both Gong Mulie and Wuchun be put into an enchanted sleep in a barren badlands, never to awaken without his permission. Gong Mushan provided a spirit artifact to protect Gong Mulie during his slumber. Sheng Xie, Duan Qianjie, and Tong Xin (in his form as Yiyuan) voluntarily entered Gong Mulie's body to protect him. Chongming then sealed Wuchun deep beneath the sea.

Qin Lie and Ling Yushi, having witnessed these events from the past, finally understood the truth of their origins. Ling Yushi realized that she, in her past life as Wuchun, had cast the Forbidden Curse on Gong Mulie. Ling Yushi's voodoo poison was absorbed by Tong Xin, who had fully awakened from Yiyuan and restored her to health. Duan Qianjie, having overcome his love tribulation, also fully awakened as a spirit artifact.

He informed Qin Lie that Du Shaoyang had inherited all the remaining voodoo master's powers and that Xie Jingxuan had died. Duan Qianjie then transformed into a spirit artifact and entered Qin Lie’s mind, pledging to assist him when he fully awakened to lead the Legion of Titans. Tong Xin, formed from a leaf of heart, confirmed his ability to heal and rid Lie of poison.

As he prepared to join Gong Mulie, he bade farewell to Wuchun, promising to reunite when she awakened. Ling Yushi, still processing her complex past and the intertwined identities of Yuxin, Yiyuan, and Tong Xin, wondered how to reconcile her feelings for her past self's love, now that Tong Xin was within Qin Lie.
