The Great-grandpa, who watched Lyu Liang grow up, expressed that he knew Lyu Liang's temperament and believed that even if Lyu Liang had killed Huan, it wasn't intentional, emphasizing how much he cherished their family's blood.
After Lyu Liang revealed knowledge of the Double Quan Palm seen in Tian Jinzhong's memories and questioned its similarity to the Lyu family's Soul Whisperer technique, the Great-grandpa was startled by his knowledge of this deep secret. He stated that since Lyu Liang was grown, it was time he knew. Xu San announced the company would halt operations for three days to address the issue, stating it was caused by an external hack to steal vital intel.
He assigned Zhang Chulan and Feng Baobao to investigate, despite Zhang Chulan's protests about being an Outsider Martial Arts Contest champion doing delivery work and not being a programmer. Xu San told them he had found them a helper who would contact them. Zhang Chulan received a friend request on WeChat from "Gao Erzhuang, Part-Timer of NDT," whose profile picture was cute and messages were mysterious, suggesting phone communication or a meeting.

She didn't know their motive. She also added that the Sinister Pleasure had a "new" sect leader, not just an interim one as previous leaders had claimed.
Zhang Chulan pressed for clarification, but she abruptly ended the communication. Left with unanswered questions about the Eight Supremes' secrets and the new leader's purpose, Zhang Chulan decided to seek answers from Mr. Lu, since his own Grandmaster was in retreat.
