Zuo Qiandai couldn’t wait to find Ye Qi and tell him that his uploaded comic had gone viral online. At first, Ye Qi didn’t believe it, but when he saw the phone Zuo Qiandai handed him, he was delighted. However, he still couldn’t get up, thinking he was experiencing sleep paralysis. When he lifted the blanket, he saw Qian Ye was lying on top of him. Ye Qi screamed in fear—then woke up. It had all been a dream.

When Ye Qi opened his eyes, he saw Zuo Qiandai in the living room with a phone, telling him that his comic had gone viral. Noticing how similar this was to his dream, Ye Qi nervously lifted the blanket, only to find Chai Ziyu inside. He finally relaxed. While walking on the street, Ye Qi received a message from Gong Jian saying he had found a job, and that Ye Qi didn’t need to worry.

Still unsure if he was dreaming, Ye Qi decided to indulge himself and dressed up very coolly. Seeing a group of girls cheering, he thought they were impressed by his looks—only to realize they were actually admiring Lu Dao. Ye Qi went to the basketball court, and his appearance there excited Jiang Ruosong and his classmates. They were also captivated by Ye Qi’s transformation.

During the game, Ye Qi passed the ball to Jiang Ruosong, who, distracted by Ye Qi, wasn’t ready to catch it. Zhou Jieyue stepped in just in time to save him from being hit by the ball. Ye Qi mustered his courage and went to the comic club, hoping to be a model for the girls, but none of them were interested, and he left feeling dejected.

Zuo Qiandai, who was moving things, overheard classmates talking about someone pretending to be a bad boy. When she later met Ye Qi, he admitted all those personas were his idea, which surprised her. Ye Qi returned to the comic club with Zuo Qiandai. The girls, seeing how sincere he was, warmed up to him. To gather material, Ye Qi asked them about their ideal types. Just then, Lu Dao arrived and joined the discussion.

Gu Zhengxing, outside, overheard Lu Dao’s comments. With the material in hand, Ye Qi returned home to start creating and invited Zuo Qiandai to help that evening. Once home, Ye Qi carefully prepared everything to welcome her. Zuo Qiandai arrived excitedly with a new publishing contract and also invited Gong Jian to help with operations—this meant Ye Qi’s comic would now have professional support, making future promotion easier.

The next day, Ye Qi remembered all the ridiculous things he had done, especially talking about ideal types in the comic club—since everything he said was true, he worried that Zuo Qiandai would find it embarrassing and asked the club president to keep it a secret. Because the comic had performed well, Ye Qi was invited to a comic exhibition. Zuo Qiandai also learned from clubmates that Ye Qi liked her and was overjoyed.

Zuo Qiandai came to Ye Qi’s house in high spirits but learned some bad news: someone had deliberately sabotaged Ye Qi’s data and even defamed him online. If this continued, it could affect his comic’s eligibility for the exhibition. Everyone brainstormed ways to fight back against those harming the comic, but Zuo Qiandai’s idea proved the most practical. Once she put it into action, everyone felt relieved and left, leaving Ye Qi and Zuo Qiandai alone.

Zuo Qiandai thought Ye Qi might confess to her, but when he didn’t, she quickly left. Later that night, Zuo Qiandai saw malicious comments still being posted. After investigating, she discovered the person behind the slander was none other than Qian Ye.
