Ye Qi got injured during the sports meet because of Zuo Qiandai’s worries. Feeling guilty, Zuo Qiandai bought many things to take care of him and even insisted on cooking for him. But the moment she mentioned cooking, Ye Qi got nervous—he had already experienced Zuo Qiandai’s cooking during a previous illness. Zuo Qiandai claimed that was just an accident and insisted on cooking again.
While cooking, due to her inexperience, the flames flared up, and she nearly fell but was caught by Ye Qi. It was the first time Zuo Qiandai felt the warmth of Ye Qi’s embrace. Ye Qi attended class with Zuo Qiandai. She had initially wanted to find someone else to take care of him but ended up troubling Ye Qi instead, which made her feel bad. She decided to do something for him—like taking notes.
But in a brief moment of distraction, the teacher had already filled the blackboard with functions. Zuo Qiandai didn’t even know where to start. Instead of writing notes, her mind drifted to romantic thoughts about her and Ye Qi, and she ended up sketching what looked like a Ferris wheel. Zuo Qiandai went to Zhou Jieyue to ask how she could make it up to Ye Qi. Zhou Jieyue told her to show genuine sincerity to touch Ye Qi’s heart.
To express her sincerity, Zuo Qiandai decided to make heart-shaped chocolates herself and even found someone to teach her. After making them, she worried it would seem too obvious, so she cut the heart shapes apart with a knife. Just as she happily set off to find Ye Qi, she wasn’t watching her step and bumped right into him, scattering the chocolates all over the ground, completely destroying their original shape.
Ye Qi helped her pick them up, and upon hearing they were for him, he popped one into his mouth and complimented the taste. Then, without thinking, he patted Zuo Qiandai’s head, leaving her completely enamored. Lu Dao, wearing a skirt that showed off her legs, found Gu Zhengxing and asked him to eat together. But Gu Zhengxing’s strange behavior made her think he was still basking in the joy of being back on stage.
He recalled the moment he shared with Lu Dao on stage and couldn’t focus during class, thinking of her constantly. After class, Lu Dao blocked his path. Both of them misunderstood each other and ended up saying things that made no sense to the other. Due to spending more time with Zhou Jieyue, Jiang Ruosong felt that his heart was being taken over by her. He wanted to confess to Lorelei quickly before he fell completely for Zhou Jieyue.
Just as he entered the music room, he heard Zhou Jieyue chatting inside and saying Lorelei was there. When he walked in, he saw Zhou Jieyue with two other girls and assumed one of them was Lorelei. His mind was filled with memories of their moments together, and he wanted to catch up to her and confess. But when he finally did catch up, he still couldn’t say the words. Back at home, Ye Qi was preoccupied and ended up confiding in Chai Ziyu, who wasn’t surprised and even told Ye Qi that Zuo Qiandai liked him too, urging him to take the initiative.
