> Song of the Moon Recap

As Luo Ge struggled to suppress the evil spirit within him, it seized control of his body, causing ominous phenomena across the Three Realms with continuous lightning and the onset of darkness. Witnessing this, Wansui recalled a similar event ten thousand years ago when the evil spirit first appeared, plunging the mortal world into seven days of sunless gloom, halting all growth.

It was only through the combined efforts of the God of the Sun and the God of the Moonlight that the Three Realms were saved from eternal night and extinction. Despite his efforts, Luo Ge was losing his battle against the evil spirit, which taunted him, claiming it was not the cause of the world's misery but rather the desires of mortals that sustained its existence.

It mocked Luo Ge's willingness to sacrifice himself, arguing that humanity would remain ungrateful and forget his efforts, just as the God of the Moonlight had been defeated despite his perseverance. The evil spirit declared its intent to replace Luo Ge, become the master of the Three Realms, gain supreme power, and claim Liu Shao, whom the God of the Moonlight cherished even in death.

Luo Ge vehemently refused to let it touch Liu Shao, to which the evil spirit retorted that love was a weakness. Liu Shao rushed to Palace Chonghua and found Luo Ge transformed, clad in black robes instead of his usual white. The evil spirit, now controlling Luo Ge, strangely proposed marriage. Thinking quickly, Liu Shao used a Weiyang flower and shared memories to momentarily break through its influence, reaffirming her deep affection for Luo Ge.

This act allowed Luo Ge’s true consciousness to briefly resurface, declaring Liu Shao his strength, his armor, and the only one he loved through all tribulations. However, Luo Ge knew his hold was fleeting. He urgently instructed Liu Shao to go to the Mansion of Wu Yang Duke to establish new Protection Spells for the mortal world.

He then injected his divine spirit into her Wang Bell, explaining that even if he lost control, she could activate its divine energy to awaken him and find an opportunity to destroy the evil spirit. Liu Shao understood that Luo Ge was bound to the Xuan Ling Wood Boundary to suppress the evil within him, realizing that just as he had always protected her, it was now her turn to stand before him and clear his path.

The Demon King in White visited Immortal Palace, immediately sensing the sinister influence of the half-heart within Luo Ge. Luo Ge revealed his concern that Liu Shao might not ascend quickly enough to confront him if he fully succumbed. He sought the Demon King in White’s help to use the Clear Vine, hidden within the Qiansha Illusion of Bone Melting Pool, to stimulate Liu Shao’s divine spirit and enhance her cultivation.

The Clear Vine, which thrives on evil spirits, makes the Qiansha Illusion perilous, a place only deities could enter. Luo Ge explained he could not retrieve it himself, as his lingering evil spirit would cause the vine to perceive him as an enemy, but suggested that water energy could counteract this. The Demon King in White then brought Fu along to assist.

Fu, having reflected on his past mistakes, agreed to help, specifically hoping to atone and ensure Luo Ning’s immortal energy could be brought out of the Bone Melting Pool. The Demon King in White chastised Fu for his past actions but acknowledged his repentance, instructing him to live with Luo Ning's memory and atone.

Luo Ge gave the Demon King in White a Water Energy Lantern, explaining it would connect to their inner energy and flash if a spirit appeared, allowing them to pull him back from the illusion. Inside the Qiansha Illusion, Luo Ge was tested as the Clear Vine sought to consume him, causing the Water Energy Lantern to weaken. In a critical moment, Luo Ning’s immortal energy entered the Boundary, illuminating the entire Protection Spell and causing the vine to recede.

The Clear Vine then recognized Luo Ge as an Immortal and granted itself to him. After acquiring the vine, Luo Ge, feeling grateful, decided to release Fu and entrusted Luo Ning’s immortal energy to him. The Demon King in White urged Fu to lead the Melody Race well and keep her spirit safe, emphasizing that it was Luo Ning's wish for Fu to live.

Fu, despite his brother’s current state, vowed to protect him no matter the cost, even if it meant sacrificing his own body and divine spirit. Later, the Immortal Master awoke, distressed to learn of Luo Ning’s demise and remembering a past temptation by the evil spirit that had offered him power to overturn the Three Realms.

Meanwhile, at the Mansion of Wu Yang Duke, Wang Jian observed Luo Ge’s newly established Protection Spell, questioning Liu Shao about Luo Ge’s condition, and reminded her that the Sun God’s divine essence sealed within her was the true key to suppressing the evil spirit. Separately, the Immortal Master sought out Liu Shao, revealing that his constant obstruction of her and Luo Ge was due to her resemblance to the God of the Sun.

He explained that the evil spirit’s survival for ten thousand years was a result of the God of the Sun’s "kindness," warning Liu Shao not to repeat past mistakes. Prompted by Lu Li, Luo Ge suddenly grasped a forgotten truth: he was one with the God of the Moonlight. He then used the Moon Sword, the last artifact of the God of the Moonlight, to uncover the hidden past.

He learned that the God of the Sun could have eradicated the evil spirit with her Crown Wheel, but doing so would have annihilated the God of the Moonlight, whose power was dwindling, thus strengthening the evil spirit further. In a selfless act, the God of the Moonlight asked the God of the Sun to strike him with the Moon Sword to contain the evil spirit.

The God of the Sun, unwilling to see the God of the Moonlight perish completely, chose to use the Moon Sword over her Crown Wheel, as the Moon Sword offered a way to preserve his divine essence while containing the evil spirit, even if it meant risking her own life.

The devastating blow split the God of the Moonlight’s heart in two: one half, tainted with the evil spirit, was sealed beneath the Four Seasons Monument, while the other, pure and retaining the God of the Moonlight’s consciousness, transformed into Luo Ge. The God of the Sun succumbed to the Moon Sword’s backlash before Luo Ge could fully form, marking the end of the two supreme gods in the Three Realms.

The evil spirit persisted for ten thousand years due to the God of the Sun's singular act of love, and Luo Ge himself was born from that same enduring affection. The God of the Moonlight had foreseen this outcome, and before fully losing his consciousness, he descended to the mortal world to find a suitable individual to inherit the Sun Spirit. This chosen person would then be tasked with completely eliminating the evil spirit ten thousand years later.

The young Liu Shao, who encountered a black-robed immortal, unknowingly met the God of the Moonlight. The "three-day promise" she made then carried the immense responsibility for all living beings. Now, remembering her sacred mission, Liu Shao resolved to fulfill her destiny and bring an end to the catastrophe that had haunted the Three Realms for millennia, completing what the God of the Sun could not.
