Fu made Luo Ning drink merging wine brewed with Phoenix Tears, hoping she would forget all her loved ones and only remember him, becoming his sole bride. Upon realizing this, Luo Ning panicked and fought against the effects, desperately trying to remember Fu's appearance, even though she knew he had done bad things. She also accused Fu of calculating her feelings from the beginning and asked if he despised her for being an "aquatic monster that will die without water."

Overwhelmed by the Phoenix Tears, Luo Ning collapsed, struggling to recall a boy she described as "evil and handsome," who she believed turned into a lunatic and for whom she wanted to marry He Na to lift a ten-thousand-year curse, though she couldn't remember who he was. A demon doctor later confirmed that Luo Ning was three months pregnant. Fu was filled with regret, realizing the child was conceived during their time together.

He frantically tried to convey this to the unconscious Luo Ning. When Luo Ning awoke, she had no memory of Fu. She vaguely remembered being on the verge of marrying He Na to lift a ten-thousand-year curse on the Aquatic Demons. Fu attempted to recount their shared past, carefully omitting the more painful memories. Luo Ning remained skeptical, but she noticed burn marks on his arms and hands that appeared to be from within, caused by the Fire Pearl.

She instinctively used the Bone-Corroding Harp to heal him, which proved effective. As she treated him, she asked his name again, having forgotten it. Fu earnestly tried to convince her they were destined to be together, even mentioning a future child, and promised to seek her brother's and the Immortal Palace's approval for their marriage, no matter the cost.

Luo Ning, however, could not recall any of it, though she did recognize an ugly doll made from her clothes, which she always packed for her wedding, strangely feeling something was missing if she didn't bring it, as it was crucial for the feng shui of her waterside pavilion. Before Fu departed for an urgent matter, Luo Ning, still unable to remember his name, etched "Fu" onto her palm to ensure she wouldn't forget him.

She then gave him a Glazed Pearl, which she had created from years of copying scriptures, for protection, asking him to return safely. Meanwhile, the Demon King in White (He Na) tracked Fu to the Great Wilderness, which was protected by a formidable spiritual power trap. He Na, fearing for Fu's safety, deliberately went ahead alone to distract Luo Ge and the others, but consequently became ensnared in the trap himself, his spiritual power rapidly weakening.

Bai Feng, observing this, reported He Na's perilous situation to Fu, fearing his imminent death. Liu Shao, having given Luo Ning a Glazed Pearl, sensed her location in the Great Wilderness, specifically near Ice Rock Lake, a place known for being dangerous for the Melody race and where the Bone-Corroding Harp was found.

Luo Ge, acknowledging He Na as a friend and remembering how He Na had repeatedly saved him and Liu Shao from the demon Ao Hen, insisted on staying to fight alongside him despite Immortal Master's warnings about the trap and the unaddressed matters between the Immortal Palace and Demon Palace. Luo Ge apologized to He Na for having neglected him due to wedding preparations, which allowed Fu to set his trap, and vowed to find Luo Ning.

Fu, alerted by Bai Feng, rushed towards the Great Wilderness. Immortal Master intercepted him, provoking him by questioning his sudden politeness and accusing him of ruining He Na's marriage. Fu, while admitting his wrongs and promising to apologize, fiercely defended his brother's honor. Enraged by Immortal Master's taunts, Fu struck him with only a fraction of his strength.

However, Immortal Master feigned unconsciousness, allowing a black mist to emerge and infect Fu, causing him to collapse, while Immortal Master immediately regained consciousness, revealing his deliberate manipulation. Within the Great Wilderness, Liu Shao heard the distinct Poshuo Music of the Bone-Corroding Harp. Using the Crown Wheel, she located the entrance to the barrier that concealed Luo Ning.

A memory surfaced, showing the Sun Supreme God gifting the Bone-Corroding Harp to Ze Shui on her birthday, explaining it was crafted from "Love Wood," which can be "bone-corroding." Ze Shui had then expressed that choosing love, regardless of its outcome, would always be fortunate. As the barrier dissipated, Liu Shao briefly believed herself to be the Sun Supreme God, and Luo Ning thought she was Ze Shui.

They quickly realized their confusion stemmed from the Crown Wheel and the Bone-Corroding Harp recalling the ancient memories of the Sun Supreme God and Ze Shui. Luo Ning noted that the room looked exactly like her old one, implying Fu had prepared it for her, yet she still struggled to recall his face or name when he wasn't present.

Luo Ning learned her brother, He Na, was in the Great Wilderness and followed Liu Shao to find him, where they encountered Fu and Immortal Master. Immortal Master falsely accused Fu of attempting to harm him and seized the opportunity to infuse Fu's mind with malevolent energy, claiming Fu was a danger to all realms. Under the malevolent energy's influence, Fu lost control and attacked Luo Ge.

Seeing her brother in peril, Luo Ning bravely shielded Luo Ge and was fatally wounded by Fu. Luo Ning was gravely injured, and Luo Ge's attempts at healing were futile. In her dying moments, Luo Ning begged Luo Ge to spare Fu. Despite her lingering amnesia, she asserted that she truly loved Fu and that her determination to break the ten-thousand-year curse on the Aquatic Demons was ultimately for him.

She declared, as "Ze Shui of ten thousand years ago, and Luo Ning at present," and in her capacity as the Demon Queen of the Aquatic Demons, she forgave all her clan's members, the Demon King of ten thousand years ago, and Fu at present. She continued to plead with Luo Ge to let Fu go. Immediately after Luo Ning's words, the Bone-Corroding Harp resonated, and a stream of purple light soared into the demon palace.

Poshuo tree petals cascaded from the sky, signaling the complete dissolution of the Aquatic Demons' ten-thousand-year curse, allowing them to finally emerge into the sunlight. Luo Ning then bid a wistful farewell and vanished, her spirit dissipating. Enraged, Luo Ge drew his sword, intent on killing Fu, but ultimately honored his sister's dying wish, sparing Fu's life.
