To end the conflict between the Immortal Palace and the demon realm and resolve the ancient grievances, Luo Ning decided to marry He Na, the Demon King, as his queen. This would finally free Fu and the Aquatic Demons from their suffering.

Luo Ning explained that she had inherited Immortal Ze Shui's immortal energy, and the memory of the Brahma tree revealed that only the inheritor, by becoming the Demon Queen, could grant forgiveness to the demon tribe and break the ten-thousand-year curse. Despite acknowledging the immense sacrifice for herself and Fu, Luo Ning believed her personal feelings were insignificant compared to securing peace for the Three Realms and saving her people.

She was convinced that becoming the Demon Queen would prevent Fu from risking his life and bring an end to all disputes. Meanwhile, He Na, in a complicated mood, went to the place where Fu was imprisoned and reinforced the barrier around him. Fu, feeling abandoned by both his brother and the one he loved, cried out to be released, desperate to see Luo Ning.

He Na apologized to Fu, admitting his past indulgence, and expressed his hope that by the time Fu was released, the Aquatic Demons' curse would be broken, allowing Fu to live a life free from turmoil. Fu, however, questioned if He Na and Luo Ning truly intended to keep him imprisoned for a hundred years. Upon returning to the Immortal Palace, Luo Ning found Luo Ge waiting for her.

She playfully hinted at wanting to marry someone who had saved her, someone talented and kind. Luo Ge quickly interjected, stating that he only wished for her to find a suitable, upright person, but vehemently insisted that she must not marry a demon. Unbeknownst to them, Bai Feng met with the Immortal Master, marveling at his intricate schemes.

The Immortal Master revealed that he had deliberately orchestrated events for Bai Feng to expose her whereabouts to Wan Sui, knowing Wan Sui's nature would lead him to spread the information. He then intentionally shared the ancient legend of the Demon King and Immortal Ze Shui with Luo Ning, knowing her curious nature would compel her to investigate personally. This chain of events, he explained, guaranteed that Fu would be punished and imprisoned by He Na.

The Immortal Master, requiring someone with the Demon King's bloodline to cleave the Four Seasons Monument, identified the arrogant and difficult-to-control Fu as the ideal candidate. He planned to "curb his temper" first and instructed Bai Feng to closely monitor Fu's movements in the Demon Palace and report back. Subsequently, the Immortal Master convened a meeting of the immortals, publicly accusing Xie Lingqi of hiding Wu Shiwei's immortal energy in the Bone Melting Pool.

He argued that Xie Lingqi's resistance to inspection made him highly suspicious, possibly being the spy planted by the demon realm in the Immortal Palace. However, Luo Ge and Shang Yu Rong firmly defended Xie Lingqi, asserting his innocence and stating that Xie Lingqi was incapable of causing such extensive damage to the Four Seasons Monument. Luo Ge suggested that creating suspicion and fear among them was precisely what the true spy desired.

Privately, Luo Ge instructed Xie Lingqi to feign imprisonment, using this as an opportunity to secretly search for the real spy hidden within the Immortal Palace, to which Xie Lingqi agreed, vowing to protect the Immortal Palace. Luo Ge grew increasingly concerned as the situation became more perilous, with frequent sightings of someone entering and exiting Xiyin Mountain, hinting at the spy's continued activity.

He urged Liu Shao to expedite her mastery of the Crown Wheel technique, emphasizing that her every progress was a crucial advantage. Liu Shao, taking over for Luo Ge, visited Luo Ning and unexpectedly learned of her intention to marry He Na. Luo Ning shared her profound sorrow from witnessing the Aquatic Demons' painful deaths and revealed her inherited power from Immortal Ze Shui, which enabled her to break the curse.

She expressed her resolve to end the suffering by marrying He Na. Luo Ge, entering the room, vehemently opposed the marriage, reminding Luo Ning of the tragic history between the Demon King and Immortal Ze Shui. Luo Ning countered that the marriage offered her more freedom and honor, and that she had already "kicked" the person she once loved (Fu) to "hell," ensuring he would never hurt her loved ones again.

Despite Luo Ge's pleas for her to find true love, Luo Ning was unyielding, threatening to strip her immortal energy and drown herself if he attempted to stop her or imprison her. He Na, carrying the betrothal gifts, arrived at the Immortal Palace to formally propose to Luo Ning.

Before meeting Luo Ning, he spoke with Liu Shao, explaining that he must now prioritize his duty as Demon King for the sake of his people, even if it meant personal sacrifice. He playfully reassured her that he would always be her friend in the demon realm. He then met with Luo Ning, apologizing for involving her in the curse, but Luo Ning reaffirmed her conviction that as Immortal Ze Shui's inheritor, it was her destiny to end the curse.

She assured him that her decision was solely for the curse's resolution and had nothing to do with Fu. Luo Ning added that she could still remain a carefree fairy even as Demon Queen, expecting the freedom to travel between the demon realm and Immortal Palace. He Na promised her complete freedom, vowing that she would forever be revered by him and the Aquatic Demons, regardless of whether she chose to retain the title of Demon Queen in the future.

After hearing He Na's resolute commitment to his people and his duty, Liu Shao returned the Water hyacinth pendant to him, acknowledging that it could no longer be hers. Luo Ge fiercely opposed the marriage proposal, accusing He Na of being manipulative and ungentlemanly, arguing that Luo Ning's true happiness lay with someone she mutually loved. He even declared his willingness to sacrifice himself to block the curse rather than let his sister be implicated.

He Na challenged Luo Ge to ask Luo Ning herself about her feelings, asserting his actions were born from his duty as Demon King and for the greater good of his people. Liu Shao intervened, assuring Luo Ge that He Na was vastly different from Fu and the former Demon King, and that he would undoubtedly care for Luo Ning. Though Luo Ge acknowledged He Na's character, his paramount desire was his sister's enduring happiness.

After Liu Shao's persistent persuasion and reminder of Luo Ning's important day, Luo Ge, while still expressing his deep desire for his sister's happiness and the peace of the Three Realms, finally relented, implicitly giving his conditional approval to the marriage, expecting He Na to care for Luo Ning. Preparations for the grand wedding began in the demon realm. He Na, upon returning to the Aquatic Demons, asked Mr. Tai about Fu's condition.

Mr. Tai reported that Fu had been quiet, and his punishment seemed beneficial for his cultivation. He Na expressed his guilt over marrying Luo Ning, acknowledging it was for the sake of the Aquatic Demons. He planned to explain everything to Fu once the curse was broken, hoping their people could shed their aquatic existence, reclaim their original name, the Melody race, and finally live on land. Mr. Tai shared in his lord's aspirations.

Meanwhile, Fu diligently copied scriptures, a pervasive sense of dread washing over him as he recalled Luo Ning's words, fearing he was about to lose her. He desperately pleaded with Mr. Tai to release him. Mr. Tai, regrettably, stated he lacked the authority but promised to relay the request to He Na.

Fu, distraught and sensing Luo Ning's imminent abandonment, questioned if his brother truly intended to imprison him for a hundred years, vehemently stating he could not endure such a long confinement.
