> Song of the Moon Recap

The narrative opens with a tragic flashback revealing the past of Immortal Ze Shui and the Demon King. Immortal Ze Shui, despite deeply loving the Demon King, became utterly disillusioned with his ruthless ambition. She declared that true honor lies in caring for the common people, not in conquering the Three Realms and killing innocent lives. Ashamed to have married such a despicable person, she vowed never to see him again and tragically took her own life.

Moonlight God, sensing his sister's peril, arrived too late. In his grief and fury, he killed the Demon King and cursed the entire Aquatic Demon tribe, condemning them to an eternal existence trapped in deep water, despised by all, and unable to survive outside of it. He declared that only a descendant of Immortal Ze Shui who becomes the Demon Queen could ever lift this powerful curse.

Later, Immortal Master reflected on the cruel nature of demons with Luo Ning, acknowledging that although Fu had helped her, he was inherently savage. He urged Luo Ning to be the one to guide Fu towards kindness, as she seemed to be the only person he would listen to. Meanwhile, Luo Ge closely supervised Liu Shao's recovery, ensuring she took her medicine.

He became visibly jealous of Liu Shao's constant concern for He Na, who had sacrificed a hand for her. Feeling deeply indebted to He Na, Liu Shao attempted to secretly send him more medicine through Wansui, an errand runner. However, Luo Ge surprisingly revealed that he had already prepared a spirit vein of Water Dragon for He Na, demonstrating his genuine friendship.

He then humorously chided Liu Shao for always feeling the need to repay others, implying she was "acting like a thief" by trying to hide her good intentions. Wansui, carrying Liu Shao's remedies, arrived at the Aquatic Demons' realm. Fu, still upset about Luo Ning's absence, mocked Wansui and Liu Shao's inferior remedies.

Wansui retorted by revealing Master Shang Yurong's suspicions: that Fu was behind the mysterious Moon Poison that afflicted Liu Shao, connecting him to Xie Lingqi and Bai Feng. Wansui further hinted that He Na might also be implicated due to his immunity to the Moon Poison, suggesting he could be using it to approach Liu Shao. Enraged, Fu choked Wansui, but He Na swiftly intervened.

Wansui seized the opportunity to escape, only to encounter Bai Feng upon his departure, leaving him deeply unsettled by the strange dynamics between the two demon brothers. Wansui decided to warn Liu Shao about Fu. Shortly after, Luo Ning arrived at the Aquatic Demons' realm, having overheard Wansui's complaints about Fu and Bai Feng. She confronted He Na, and He Na in turn confronted Fu.

He Na demanded answers about Fu's clandestine dealings with Black Moonlight and the individual under the Four Seasons Monument. Fu admitted to using Xie Lingqi to undermine the Immortal Palace, claiming it was retribution for Xie Lingqi's past humiliation of He Na. Furious at Fu's continued recklessness and disrespect, especially after having protected him from prior misdeeds, He Na ordered Fu to be severely whipped as a warning.

Determined to uncover the full truth of Fu's machinations, Luo Ning requested He Na's water energy to become invisible and secretly follow Fu. True to her suspicions, Luo Ning observed Fu meeting privately with Bai Feng. She listened intently as they plotted to attack the Immortal Palace and seize a powerful sword. Bai Feng also referenced an accomplice within the Immortal Palace who was aiding their scheme.

Fu expressed doubts about their chances against Luo Ge, especially after Bai Feng's failure to trap him in the Yin-yang Cave. Bai Feng clarified that her ultimate goal was to "get" Luo Ge, not to kill him, and urged Fu to continue their cooperation if he wished to achieve his own desires. Suddenly, Fu sensed a presence, mistaking the aura for He Na's, and lashed out with a spell. Luo Ning, caught in the attack, was knocked unconscious.

He Na later found her and quickly healed her injuries. Upon recovering, Luo Ning was heartbroken and disillusioned with Fu. She confronted He Na, expressing her profound disappointment. She stated that while she had once liked Fu, she would never tolerate him harming her brother or the Immortal Palace. She recounted how she had used He Na's water energy to observe Fu's true nature, only to discover his ruthless intentions and nearly be killed by his hand.

Luo Ning firmly declared that she would never forgive him and vowed to take his life if he ever dared to harm her brother. She demanded that He Na immediately punish Fu; otherwise, she would inform Luo Ge, who would show no leniency. He Na, acknowledging his brother's transgressions and his own responsibility for not guiding him properly, agreed to Luo Ning's demand.

He sealed Fu's spiritual power and imprisoned him within the Demon Palace for a century, forbidding him from leaving. He explained that by the time Fu was released, Luo Ge would have ascended to become a Supreme God, nullifying any threat Fu might pose by conspiring with Bai Feng to release an evil god. Fu expressed his disbelief at being imprisoned by both his brother and Luo Ning, claiming his actions were merely "a slight error in thought."

Luo Ning and He Na decided that Fu should spend his imprisonment transcribing the "Meditation Spell" to cultivate a benevolent heart. Meanwhile, at the Immortal Palace, disciples apprehended Xie Lingqi, accusing him of damaging the Four Seasons Monument and attempting to escape. The corrupted Immortal Master, acting as the traitor he had become, urged the disciples to abolish Xie Lingqi's cultivation. Xie Lingqi vehemently denied the accusations, insisting he was pursuing the real traitor when he was stopped.

Luo Ge arrived just in time, intervening to prevent Xie Lingqi's cultivation from being abolished. He ordered Xie Lingqi to be returned to the Bone Melting Pool for further investigation, stating that the situation seemed suspicious and required thorough examination. Immortal Master, feigning concern about the potential rise of an "evil thing" if the true traitor remained at large, reluctantly agreed.

Back at the Aquatic Demons' realm, Luo Ning sat weeping under the ancient Brahma tree, deeply saddened by Fu's imprisonment and his betrayal. The Brahma tree, sensing her profound sorrow, began to react. Through its ancient memories, Luo Ning witnessed the poignant history of the Demon King and Immortal Ze Shui: their passionate love, Ze Shui's heartfelt vow for eternal loyalty, the Demon King's reciprocal promise, Ze Shui's ultimate self-sacrifice, and Moonlight God's subsequent curse upon the Aquatic Demons.

This profound vision also revealed the critical detail that the curse could only be lifted if a descendant of Immortal Ze Shui became the Demon Queen. Aquatic Demon tribespeople, alarmed by the Brahma tree's agitation, rushed to the scene. He Na found Luo Ning crying and offered comfort. Luo Ning then asked He Na if there were any other ways to break the curse besides destroying the Four Seasons Monument.

He Na mentioned the Bone-Corroding Harp, but noted it had previously failed. Luo Ning then realized that while she had inherited Immortal Ze Shui's immortal energy, she had not inherited her deep-seated resentment. Now, having experienced a similar heartbreak and understanding Ze Shui's pain, Luo Ning concluded that if she were to become the Demon Queen, she would possess the authority to forgive the demon race and finally lift the ten-thousand-year curse.
