As Xiyin Mountain became stable and the crisis of the Three Realms was resolved, Liu Shao, believing Luo Ge had forgotten her, fainted from exhaustion. Luo Ge immediately caught her, holding her securely. Before departing, he warned the Demon King in White that if he wished for Luo Ge to spare Fu, his sister Luo Ning must first be returned to the Immortal Palace. Upon returning to their dwelling, Luo Ge personally tended to Liu Shao's injuries.

As she gradually awoke, she questioned if he was the mortal Luo Ge or the Immortal Luo Ge. He affirmed he was both, having remembered everything. He confessed that during their time in the mortal world, he had selfishly wished to abandon his responsibilities, burdening her.

He then revealed that the Soul-Devouring Spell, born from love, and the Phoenix Tears, which cause forgetfulness, had been conflicting within his body, neutralizing each other until they would eventually disappear, freeing her from the spell's torment and ensuring they would never forget each other. Overjoyed by this revelation, Liu Shao spontaneously embraced and kissed him.

On their last night in the mortal world, Luo Ge joined Liu Shao in releasing wishing lanterns, making a solemn vow to stay together for all eternity. At that same moment, a celestial anomaly occurred in the Immortal Palace: thousands of stars suddenly appeared. The Immortal Master deduced that Luo Ge had achieved clarity of heart, understood the laws of heaven and earth, and had begun to glimpse the threshold of godhood, indicating his imminent promotion to Supreme God.

The Immortals gathered to welcome Luo Ge's return. Luo Ge, however, was preoccupied with Luo Ning, who was still in the mortal realm. Liu Shao offered to go to the demon palace to retrieve her. Meanwhile, Fu, desperate not to let Luo Ning leave him, feigned weakness and dependence to elicit her sympathy. Luo Ning, moved by his vulnerability, agreed to accompany him back to the Aquatic Demons' territory.

That night, she succumbed to her feelings for Fu, solidifying their commitment to each other. Fu then brought Luo Ning to the Aquatic Demons' dwelling, proudly showing her his room and fantasizing about their shared life there. The Demon King in White, observing Fu and Luo Ning's affectionate display, understood the depth of their bond. When Luo Ning learned of Liu Shao's arrival at the demon palace, she eagerly rushed to meet her.

Liu Shao acknowledged Luo Ning's deep affection for Fu but cautioned her that love between an immortal and a demon was inherently fraught with difficulties. Luo Ning, undeterred, cited Luo Ge and Liu Shao's own relationship as proof that such love could endure. As Luo Ning passed the Brahma tree, she felt a profound sense of connection and familiarity, almost as if she had seen it before.

Liu Shao then recounted the tragic legend of the Demon King and Immortal Ze Shui, emphasizing that their downfall was not only due to the immortal-demon divide but also because their love was built on deception. She advised Luo Ning to first confirm Fu's true intentions before committing herself, warning her not to repeat Immortal Ze Shui's mistakes. Acting on Liu Shao's advice, Luo Ning used a new fragrance as a pretext to subtly ascertain Fu's true feelings.

The Demon King in White, perceiving Fu's genuine affection for Luo Ning and knowing they had become intimate, decided to pass on his title as Demon King to Fu, allowing him to formally propose to Luo Ning in the Immortal Palace.

However, Fu's words proved deceitful; he confided to the Demon King in White that his real purpose in approaching Luo Ning was to use her to exact revenge on the Immortal Palace, specifically Luo Ge, for their long-standing disdain for the Aquatic Demons and for the suffering caused by Immortal Ze Shui's past. Overhearing this devastating confession, Luo Ning was heartbroken. Separately, Luo Ge admonished Shang Yurong for recklessly retrieving Liu Shao's talisman pearl.

Luo Ge then reclaimed the pearl and used his spiritual power to reinforce the array, stabilizing the Four Seasons Monument. The Demon King in White later presented Liu Shao with the Six-star Brilliant Array. This ancient formation, created by the former Demon King to retain Immortal Ze Shui, could seal Liu Shao's Sun Spirit, preventing her spiritual power from conflicting with Luo Ge's.

However, it was exceedingly perilous, potentially damaging her meridians and even leading to instant death, and required the Tears of the Half-Demon for successful activation. Luo Ning, still reeling from Fu's betrayal, secretly followed him to a secluded cottage in the mortal world, where she was shocked to discover Bai Feng, blind and hidden by Fu.

She learned that Bai Feng had been injured by Zhuo Qiuxian's thunder whip and had fallen from a cliff, but Fu had swiftly encased her in ice, concealing her presence from the Immortal Palace's search. Now, Fu was awakening Bai Feng, promising to heal her eyes in exchange for her continued efforts to sabotage Luo Ge and Liu Shao's relationship, deceitfully blaming Liu Shao for Bai Feng's predicament.

Luo Ning witnessed this entire exchange, finally realizing the extent of Fu's cunning and how he had manipulated everyone, including herself, from the very beginning. Though Bai Feng had committed grave sins, Luo Ning did not wish to stain her own hands with murder. Instead, after Fu departed, she deliberately destroyed Bai Feng's medicine, denying her recovery. Meanwhile, Luo Ge's attempts to purify his heart were repeatedly thwarted.

The voice of the "Black Moonlight" persistently echoed in his mind, fostering distracting and malevolent thoughts. Luo Ge recognized that ordinary evil spirits could not possess such power, leading him to believe something far more sinister was at play. Fearing further complications, he vowed to swiftly find a permanent solution to fully restore the Four Seasons Monument.

Unaware of Luo Ning's discovery, Fu continued his efforts to win her favor, diligently collecting a complete set of crystal cups and pots for her. However, he soon noticed a drastic shift in Luo Ning's demeanor. She coldly informed him that immortal and demon love defied heavenly principles, and from that moment on, they should each return to their own lives with no further contact. Faced with Luo Ning's resolute rejection, Fu's attempts to persuade her failed, leading him to wrongly conclude that Liu Shao was responsible for their separation.
