Nie Sangyu was frightened when she saw Ning Yuxuan lying motionless in the bathtub, thinking he had fainted. She quickly lifted him onto the bed and covered him with clothes to keep him warm. Ning Yuxuan turned over and continued sleeping, so Nie Sangyu was relieved and explained that she was innocent. She then left to find evidence at the fire scene where she found a lock buried in the ruins and a hairpin that smelled suspicious.
