Yan Ying is a female general in the novel Galactic War Chronicles. Ruthless in battle, she fights to protect her homeland and settle personal grudges, only to face the cruel fate of being forced to love and kill her beloved. Using the power of the "Star Map of Qixi," she travels through time and space to the real world, seeking the novel's author to rewrite her ending.
However, the author in reality has long since vanished without a trace. Yan Ying meets Xu Chi, a rising star in the publishing industry, and her interactions with him gradually change her life in the real world, causing her to forget her original purpose of altering the novel's ending.
When she accidentally discovers that Xu Chi is actually the original author of Galactic War Chronicles, his deception makes her believe everything between them was a lie. As she pressures him to rewrite the story's conclusion, she learns the truth—she has traveled to the real world many times before, falling in love with Xu Chi each time. And every time she disappears, it leaves Xu Chi in unbearable pain, silently waiting until her next arrival.
This time, Yan Ying decides to stay with Xu Chi, determined to change their fate in the real world together.
