Love's Rebellion Recap

Episode 1 Recap

For thousands of years, beyond the mundane sea of mortals, cultivation sects flourished. Among them, the Lunar Sect took the path of seeking immortality as orthodox. Nan Yan was a female disciple under its tutelage, renowned far and wide for her mastery of poison and healing, earning the title "Lethal Poison Master. " The sect comprised three peaks and six halls, housing over a thousand disciples. Forming cliques was commonplace.

Due to her low spiritual power and reclusive nature, Nan Yan was often ostracized by the others. One day, fellow disciple Chu Jing trespassed into Nan Yan's courtyard and set fire, attempting to destroy the Zhurong flower she had meticulously cultivated for two years. Unexpectedly, the flower emitted a poisonous gas upon exposure to heat, and the toxicity quickly invaded his body.

Nan Yan, out of great compassion, first instructed her scorpion pet, Xiangxiang, to absorb the poisoned blood from Chu Jing's body, and then used medicinal steaming to expel most of the toxins for him. Although this action was misunderstood by the head disciple Fu Lang and the Sect Leader's beloved daughter Meng Ying, Nan Yan's original intention was also to punish Chu Jing's transgression. After nightfall, the canyon market was brightly lit and bustling with people.

Rumors circulating in the streets and alleys told of Emperor Shao Cang falling into demonic ways, rebelling against the Dao, and heinously slaughtering his fellow disciples. It was said that Shao Cang had the potential to become the next Xuan Zai, but unfortunately, he was captured by Xuan Zai Ying Zewei for committing grave sins and imprisoned in the Soul River Water Prison. Yet, he miraculously escaped and has since been at large.

At this moment, Shao Cang sat alone in a corner of the market, quietly listening to the surrounding discussions like a rising tide. He offered wine in remembrance of the departed, then rose and left, carrying his long sword, brushing past Nan Yan, leaving only a faint trace of intersection.

Years ago, Holy Master Ji Ming, relying on the demon-suppressing cultivation method "Seven Sins Manual," sacrificed himself in a single strike to subdue Demon Lord Sen Luo, slaying him in the northern territories. This brought about the restoration of light to the four seas and peace to the world. Ji Ming's act was remembered by later generations. People sculpted clay statues of him, built temples for worship, and revered him as a deity.

As for the "Seven Sins Manual," possessing supreme power, it transformed into a talisman genie after Ji Ming's sacrifice and vanished without a trace. Now, Shao Cang had committed the grave sin of killing his fellow disciples and was thus expelled from Dao Sheng Tian by his master. To clear his name, Shao Cang, based on the legend that the Seven Sins Manual could discern demonic nature, resolutely headed to the northern territories to search for it.

Dao Sheng Tian's enforcement elder Zhu Sui led disciples such as Ma Rui to track him all the way to Ji Ming Hall. However, Shao Cang was cunning almost to the point of being demonic and foresaw everything. He exploited the world's fools' reverence for deities, disguised himself as Ji Ming, and narrowly escaped. Meanwhile, Nan Yan was preparing to go to the Filth Valley at midnight tonight to gather Zhurong Grass.

She unexpectedly witnessed the brutal slaughter of Dao Sheng Tian disciples by Elder Yu Yong of the Tian Xie Dao. Yu Yong was the fourth among the Five Ghosts of Tian Xie, and his demonic power was immeasurable, filling Nan Yan with dread. She had intended to sneak away quietly but was detected by him and nearly lost her life on the spot. Coincidentally, Shao Cang was tracking the Seven Sins Manual and arrived at the Filth Valley.

He secretly assisted Nan Yan, repelling Yu Yong, causing Nan Yan to mistakenly believe that Ji Ming had appeared. The battle between Shao Cang and Yu Yong caused his old injuries to relapse, and he fell into a coma, fortunately saved by Nan Yan. Seeing Shao Cang dressed in green and white Daoist robes, with a handsome face like a pure crescent moon, Nan Yan developed a favorable impression.

Furthermore, since he suffered from a heart ailment similar to her mother Nan Rao, she decided to keep him as a human test subject for research. Nan Yan bound Shao Cang with ropes, claiming to be removing toxins to treat his illness, and forcibly confined him.

To prevent Shao Cang from trying to escape, Nan Yan exaggerated the severity of his condition and promised to take responsibility for his food and lodging, also setting up a barrier to restrict his use of spiritual power. Shao Cang recalled that his old injuries stemmed from his master's severe punishment and the torment in the Soul River Water Prison. He planned to find the Seven Sins Manual as quickly as possible to expose the mastermind.

Just as he was preparing to leave, he suddenly saw a demonic entity in a nearby basket and attempted to strike but was stopped by Nan Yan. This action enraged the demonic entity. Immediately, Nan Yan's expression changed drastically, as if controlled by another force. Red light flickered on her forehead, and she muttered to herself, claiming to be the "karma talisman."

When Shao Cang entered Nan Yan's sea of consciousness, he discovered that the demonic entity was actually the talisman genie he had been searching for many days, which Nan Yan had accidentally absorbed into her body. The talisman genie stated that if Shao Cang could take it out of the sea of consciousness, it would recognize him as its master. To escape, they would have to wait until 戌时 (Xū shí, 7-9 PM) the following night and perform the Soul-Seizing formation.

Episode 2 Recap

Shao Cang entered Nan Yan's sea of consciousness, intending to seize the Seven Sins Manual within her body. After communicating with the talisman genie, he learned that the Seven Sins Manual was actually a pair of twin upper and lower volumes. The upper volume had accidentally merged into Nan Yan's body, while the lower volume was still hidden within the Filth Valley. Only by combining the upper and lower volumes could the Seven Sins Manual be obtained.

Given that Nan Yan's spiritual power was weak but her background special, Shao Cang did not forcibly seize it, deciding to make plans after activating the Soul-Seizing formation tomorrow night. During their conversation, Shao Cang casually fabricated a name for himself, Ji Yang, and claimed to be from the Solar Sect, Wangri Gate. Nan Yan did not delve into this, only caring if he had a name she could call him by.

Nan Yan had now collected five rare poisons and was only waiting for the Bilichu tree to bloom and bear fruit, and for the Filth Valley to open so she could obtain the Shanxuejin branches, after which she could refine the Five-Poison Heart Pill. After Nan Yan finished speaking, she gave Ji Yang a brief instruction or two and then left with a food box.

Passing through Lunar Town, Nan Yan faintly sensed something following her but couldn't find a trace. Ji Yang kept the talisman genie's words in mind, ensuring Nan Yan's safety, and thus quietly followed behind. During this time, he watched as some gossiping uncles and aunts were taught a lesson by Nan Yan. On the surface, she played a prank, but in reality, she also helped cure their stomach ailments incidentally.

Yu Yong still hadn't given up on turning Nan Yan into a corpse puppet. Fortunately, Ji Yang and another mysterious person intervened in time. The mysterious person was hidden in the dark, while Ji Yang was in the open. He instantly killed Yu Yong with a sword, completely eliminating this threat.

In contrast, the Sect Leader Meng Zhiguang, in order to dampen the spirit of Nan Yan's mother, Nan Rao, specially invited two masters to help him, intending to win back a game at the mahjong table. Unfortunately, he couldn't gain any advantage from it. As night fell, Nan Rao slowly returned home to find that Nan Yan had already prepared dinner.

When the mother and daughter were together, their roles seemed reversed, with the daughter being the worried mother who took care of everything, while the mother was like a daughter who loved getting into trouble. This scene made Ji Yang certain that what Nan Yan said was true; she was indeed trying to treat her relative's heart ailment. Ji Yang meticulously set up the formation, originally intending to wait quietly until Xū shí (7-9 PM) arrived.

Unexpectedly, Nan Yan arranged the heavy task of fertilizing for him. To let Ji Yang experience it personally, Nan Yan insisted that he handle the manure with his own hands and assigned him the work for an entire spiritual field. Although helpless inside, Ji Yang could only endure it for the time being and silently threw himself into the dirty and tiring work.

Mu Zhanting, the young master of Longdu, personally came to the Lunar Sect, wishing to become a disciple under Meng Zhiguang. At first, Meng Zhiguang had no intention of taking disciples, but upon hearing that Mu Zhanting was wealthy, he used 500,000 spiritual stones as bait and kept him.

Mu Zhanting was overjoyed, but upon listening carefully to the Lunar Sect's rules, he found them quite strange and secretly thought that this sect might not be a traditional place of cultivation. Nan Yan fed Ji Yang the Heart Strengthening Pill and, seeing no unusual reaction from him, became even more puzzled. After Nan Yan left, Ji Yang discovered her testing notebook.

Upon careful inspection, he realized that he was actually Nan Yan's first human test subject, as all previous tests were done on animals. He was quite annoyed. Meng Zhiguang heard that his daughter and disciple were making things difficult for Nan Yan and strictly ordered them to apologize to Nan Yan immediately.

Meng Ying was extremely resistant to this, believing that the reason Meng Zhiguang was so biased towards Nan Yan was definitely because he had intentions towards Nan Rao and wanted to take her as a second wife. Subsequently, Nan Yan meticulously cooked dishes that had supplementary effects on heart ailments and sincerely invited Ji Yang to taste them.

Although the dishes looked appealing in color, aroma, and taste, Ji Yang forced himself to eat a couple of bites despite feeling nauseous. After finally enduring until Xū shí, he immediately activated the Soul-Seizing formation as planned. However, during the process of seizing the spiritual energy, the talisman genie not only did not come out of the sea of consciousness but instead caused Nan Yan to vomit blood.

This situation filled Ji Yang with an ominous feeling, suspecting that this formation was actually a life-taking technique. He promptly stopped and suspended the Soul-Seizing process.

Episode 3 Recap

Ji Yang was enraged that the talisman genie had used him to harm someone, so he entered the sea of consciousness to severely punish it. He decided to stay here to recuperate, waiting for the day the Filth Valley opened to gather both the upper and lower volumes, striving to obtain the Seven Sins Manual without endangering Nan Yan's life. While he was thinking, noise erupted outside the door.

Nan Yan opened the door and saw Meng Ying, Fu Lang, and others standing there. Although Fu Lang apologized to Nan Yan as ordered by his master, it was clearly perfunctory. Meng Ying, on the other hand, misunderstood the relationship between Nan Rao and her father, and ordered Nan Yan and her mother to immediately leave the Lunar Sect. Just as Meng Ying was about to compete with Nan Yan in poison techniques, she suddenly felt unwell.

Everyone suspected Nan Yan had poisoned her. However, after Nan Yan's diagnosis, it turned out to be caused by Meng Ying privately practicing a core-forming cultivation technique, resulting in blocked spiritual meridians. Nan Yan did not expose Meng Ying on the spot, intentionally admitting to poisoning her, and gifted her several spiritual pills to help relieve the symptoms. This act, while confusing Meng Ying, slightly reduced her anger.

Ji Yang, who was watching from the side, also felt that although Nan Yan was usually noisy and behaved strangely, she did possess unique skills in healing and saving people. Nan Yan returned to her room and saw Ji Yang enjoying the medicinal meal. However, upon carefully examining his pulse, she found no improvement whatsoever, which was quite strange.

Nan Yan secretly suspected that Ji Yang might have been secretly faking it and hadn't truly taken the medicinal meal, but Ji Yang firmly denied it. Lacking conclusive evidence, Nan Yan had to let it go for now. Currently, Shao Cang was wanted by Daosheng Tian. Zhu Sui and others were tracking his whereabouts using the Celestial Candle Fireflies, following the trail all the way to the Lunar Sect.

At this moment, Ji Yang was helping Nan Yan light the fire to refine pills. Using a spell nearly exposed himself, and the reappearance of the Celestial Candle further confirmed to him that the people from Daosheng Tian were close by. Fu Lang gathered all the disciples of the sect in the square and publicly announced the news that Shao Cang had betrayed the Northern Territory and was hiding in Lunar Town.

Nan Yan, thinking of the mysterious Ji Yang, suspected that he was Shao Cang himself. In contrast, Mu Zhanting scoffed at the baseless accusations, unable to stand people condemning others without evidence. He even argued vigorously for his idol Shao Cang, to the point of revealing his identity as a young master.

In the current era, there were only five Nascent Soul stage cultivators: Xuan Zai Ying Zewei of Daosheng Tian, Overlord Mu Guanghan of Longdu, Sword God Meng Xiaolou of Tianshao Peak, Master Chiku within Choushan Fan Hai, and Nan Fangzhu of Yaogong, whose brewed Cicada Dew Sorrow was hailed as the supreme fine wine of the cultivation world. Mu Zhanting, as the only son of Mu Guanghan, held a respected status.

His sudden appearance here meant that even Fu Lang did not dare to easily offend him. In the eyes of others, Mu Zhanting seemed unapproachable, but in his interactions with Nan Yan, he displayed a completely different, amusing personality. Although Mu Zhanting had never met Shao Cang, he harbored many fantasies about him, vividly describing him as a person nine feet tall, strong as a yak, and god-like in existence, which gradually dispelled Nan Yan's suspicion towards Ji Yang.

After returning to her room, Nan Yan continued the medicinal steaming treatment for Ji Yang and used her persuasive skills to convince him to stay at the Lunar Sect with peace of mind. Mu Zhanting visited with a generous consultation fee to express his gratitude and revealed to Nan Yan that he had traveled thousands of miles looking for Shao Cang, firmly believing that Shao Cang had been falsely accused.

Speaking of Emperor Shao Cang, Mu Zhanting's admiration for him flowed like an endless river, immediately opening the floodgates of conversation. While he spoke with great enthusiasm outside, Ji Yang felt stifled and irritated inside the vat, surrounded by poison, nearly alarming Mu Zhanting. Fortunately, Nan Yan's clever cover-up managed to preserve the situation.

That night, Meng Zhiguang warmly hosted Mu Zhanting and subtly indicated that if he insisted on staying, he would need to sign a written agreement to avoid the wrath of the Master of Longdu implicating the entire sect. While comforting Ji Yang, Nan Yan gave him acupuncture. She occasionally noticed a strange bite mark on his arm and was startled.

After carefully checking ancient texts, she confirmed it was left by a Celestial Candle, thus concluding that Ji Yang was indeed Emperor Shao Cang. At the same time, Nan Rao summoned Ji Yang to meet her at the back mountain via a talisman message and used a pot of precious Chanlubēi as a token to reveal her identity.

Although Nan Rao had no good feelings towards people from Daosheng Tian, she noticed that her daughter Nan Yan paid special attention to Ji Yang and further discovered that the two shared a mysterious connection. She personally planted The Seal OF Romance on Ji Yang, intending to entrust Nan Yan to him.

Before leaving, Nan Rao repeatedly warned Ji Yang that The Seal OF Romance was a life-and-death contract and must not be violated lightly; if the two were separated by more than ten li, they would self-destruct and die. Ji Yang deeply understood Nan Rao's intentions and could also guess that her time was near.

Thus, he solemnly promised never to reveal her true identity to Nan Yan and secretly planned to bid farewell to Nan Yan once he found the Seven Sins Manual. However, Nan Yan suddenly changed her mind and tried every possible way to persuade Ji Yang to leave the Lunar Sect.

Episode 4 Recap

The Seal OF Romance is not only used to form marriage bonds but also has the miraculous effect of enabling telepathic communication. After Ji Yang listened to Nan Yan's inner thoughts through it, he immediately stated that he would stay at the Lunar Sect until Nan Yan successfully refined the Five-Poison Heart Pill. This action confused Nan Yan; she couldn't understand why Ji Yang's attitude had suddenly changed.

Ji Yang also stopped concealing his identity in front of Nan Yan and even used his status as an Emperor to intimidate her, falsely claiming that he had cast a life-taking curse on her, and that if they were separated by more than ten li, she would explode and die. Nan Yan deeply believed this and couldn't sleep all night. The next day, she rushed to Mu Zhanting for help.

Mu Zhanting donned his battle robes, intending to break the curse for Nan Yan, but his actions were as absurd and unconvincing as a shaman performing a ritual. He even suggested using dog blood as a method, which made Nan Yan burst into laughter and tears, finally forcing her to give up the idea of having him break the curse. Afterward, Mu Zhanting excitedly came looking for Nan Yan, claiming to have a new method for dispelling evil.

He then saw Ji Yang next to Nan Yan and couldn't help but give them a gossipy look. After a bit of pretentious speculation, he finally concluded that Ji Yang was also a loyal follower of Emperor Shao Cang. Ji Yang went along with this, pretending that he had long admired the Emperor and exchanged insights with Mu Zhanting. This scene left Nan Yan wide-eyed, and she secretly praised Ji Yang's superb acting skills.

After Mu Zhanting left, Ji Yang's expression suddenly changed. He sternly warned Nan Yan against having any further extravagant thoughts of dispelling evil or breaking curses. If she wanted to save Mu Zhanting's life, she had to be obedient. Upon hearing this, Nan Yan felt that Shao Cang was still the notorious "Great Demon Lord" and felt apprehensive, not daring to show any disrespect.

Ji Yang looked at Nan Yan's reaction and felt pleased that he had successfully played a trick on her. Fu Lang, having been repeatedly frustrated by Nan Yan, developed resentment. He took advantage of Nan Yan's inattentiveness and secretly destroyed all the Bili trees. Nan Yan was heartbroken. Although she tried to save them with her weak spiritual power, it was futile. Ji Yang heard Nan Yan's thoughts and was touched by her filial piety.

He secretly used magic to help the Bili trees regain vitality. When Nan Yan turned back, she happened to see Ji Yang not far away. Gratitude was evident in her expression, and she smiled at him. In the bustling market of the valley, a pleasure boat used specifically for intelligence trading was moored. Its owner, Die Wan, was an elder of the Tianxie Dao sect and usually favored handsome men, surrounded by many beautiful male companions.

One day, Yin Ya, the Crown Prince of the Fox Clan, relying on his beauty, entered the boat to request an audience. He flattered Die Wan with eloquent words and presented her with the Hui Ling Fruit, which has the effect of maintaining youth, thereby obtaining the method for survival when entering the Filth Valley.

Die Wan warned Yin Ya that the Filth Valley was deep and full of danger, not because of its treacherous terrain, but because it hid the terrifying creature known as "Yin Zhu," which could seize souls. Yin Zhu has a human face and a demonic body, resembling a flying head with fangs. It feeds on the vital essence of living beings. Once targeted by it, escaping fate is difficult.

Only by carrying a treasure that can conceal one's aura and breath when entering the valley can one temporarily avoid its tracking. Upon hearing this, Yin Ya suddenly thought of the demon clan's supreme treasure, the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl. However, since the Merfolk clan was sealed in a demon formation a hundred years ago, the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl had become almost extinct in the world.

Just as Die Wan was about to ask Yin Ya to stay and enjoy himself on the boat, Yin Ya suddenly changed his demeanor and vanished in an instant. Even the Hui Ling Fruit in the box turned into fox fur, making Die Wan feel like she had been played, filled with shame and anger.

When Ji Yang stayed at the Lunar Sect, he set rules for Nan Yan, requiring her to report in on time every day and prepare abundant meals to serve him. Although Nan Yan was dissatisfied, due to his deep magic power and ruthless methods, she could only endure it without complaining. That night, Fu Lang was attacked by a mysterious force and was terrified.

Little did he know it was Ji Yang secretly taking action to punish him for destroying the Bili trees. Early the next morning, Ji Yang forcefully woke Nan Yan and made her accompany him down the mountain to tour the market. Nan Yan had no choice but to follow.

Seeing his strong interest in a mechanical butterfly, she painfully spent one hundred and twenty spirit stones to buy it, expressing her gratitude for him bringing the Bili trees back to life. However, Ji Yang directly gifted the mechanical butterfly to Nan Yan as her personal item. Nan Yan then realized that he had specifically chosen a gift for her.

Episode 5 Recap

Nan Yan was initially moved by receiving the gift, but Ji Yang immediately explained that the mechanical butterfly was actually a mechanical art used by Xichuan to identify locations, implying it was for secretly monitoring Nan Yan. Just as Nan Yan was about to flare up, Ji Yang noticed someone from Daoshengtian passing nearby and quickly pulled her to hide in a nearby stall.

Because Shao Cang was from Daoshengtian, Nan Yan originally wanted to exchange information about the pursuers for her freedom, but when she heard the Daoshengtian disciples shout "Better to kill the wrong person than to let one escape," she instantly felt that Daoshengtian was not as righteous and awe-inspiring as she had imagined. Similarly, the vendors were also deeply dissatisfied with their actions, deeming them brutal and hateful.

Ji Yang spotted a Qingluan fan at a stall and, without hesitation, generously bought it at a high price. This action made Nan Yan's heart ache, and she even wanted to haggle for him. Just as Nan Yan was muttering, Ji Yang gave her the Qingluan fan. This gesture instantly turned her anger into joy and completely dispelled the idea of betraying Ji Yang.

Meanwhile, Mu Zhanting's search for Nan Yan was unsuccessful, so he decided to first go to the pleasure boat to inquire about information. Since he didn't know where the pleasure boat was located, Mu Zhanting asked the common people along the way. Unexpectedly, Yin Ya witnessed this scene. Yin Ya recognized Mu Zhanting's origin, then, posing as a passerby, directed him and subsequently transformed into the enchanting beauty, Die Wan, to receive him.

Precisely because Die Wan was more interested in Mu Zhanting's money pouch than in male beauty, Mu Zhanting keenly realized that this woman was being impersonated by someone else. Yin Ya stopped his disguise and revealed his true form, snatched the money pouch, and quickly disappeared. On the other side, Ji Yang was preparing to go to the pleasure boat for something.

To prevent Nan Yan from running around, he cast a barrier to conceal her and repeatedly instructed her to stay put. Die Wan originally intended to use her beauty to tempt Ji Yang and make him indulge in the pleasure boat, but Ji Yang was unmoved. Instead, he used the Qingluan fan as bait, demanding a map of the Filth Valley in return. Die Wan toyed with Ji Yang several times, gradually wearing down his patience.

Eventually, the two sides clashed. Ji Yang easily subdued Die Wan and left the pleasure boat. At this moment, Nan Yan attempted to break free from the barrier. It just so happened that Yin Ya passed by, his gaze drawn to the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl on Nan Yan's neck. So, he pretended to kindly dissolve the barrier, attempting to deceive her and obtain the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl using Fox Clan illusion techniques.

Nan Yan was immune to illusions, causing Yin Ya's plan to fail. He then pretended to be obedient and apologized pitifully, his pathetic appearance earning Nan Yan's forgiveness. On this side, Die Wan pursued relentlessly, forcing Ji Yang to the market, which exposed his whereabouts and drew the siege of the Daoshengtian disciples. Die Wan did not want to get involved in the conflict and immediately vanished.

Ji Yang endured the outbreak of the Tianzhu poison, fighting against numerous enemies by himself. At the same time, he noticed that the barrier had been broken. Concerned about Nan Yan's safety, he quickly adjusted his tactics, breaking through the encirclement with overwhelming force. When Nan Yan heard that the Daoshengtian Emperor was being pursued, although fear arose in her heart, she was even more worried about Ji Yang's safety and tried hard to find his whereabouts.

Around them, Tianzhu fireflies emerged, weaving through the crowd. Zhu Sui loudly declared that the rebel Shao Cang had killed a fellow disciple, fled with guilt, and was hiding there severely injured. He called upon the common people to provide clues in exchange for a reward.

At this critical juncture, Nan Yan disregarded her own safety to lead Ji Yang away from danger, while Mu Zhanting skillfully created chaos to divert the attention of the Daoshengtian disciples, buying valuable time for Nan Yan and Ji Yang's escape. Because Zhu Sui was wary of Mu Zhanting's status as the Young Master of Longdu, he did not want to stir up trouble for himself, thus missing the best opportunity to apprehend Shao Cang.

Despite Ji Yang not fearing the people from Daoshengtian, he was still touched by Nan Yan's concern. He chuckled and teased that Nan Yan's spiritual power was still shallow, and if she were to confront them directly, the chances of winning would be slim. Nan Yan felt dissatisfied, thinking that she had kindly saved Ji Yang only to be ridiculed by him. However, under Ji Yang's probing, she had to admit that she was afraid he might encounter misfortune there.

Before she finished speaking, Daoshengtian disciples appeared nearby. Ji Yang quickly cast a spell to become invisible. Ji Yang's heart condition worsened due to the Tianzhu poison. To avoid implicating Nan Yan, he cast another spell to send her away. Soon after, Mo Xingzheng arrived following the traces. He questioned Ji Yang if he had any unresolved grievances and hoped he would return with him to clarify things to their master. However, Ji Yang was unable to explain himself.

He could only cast a spell to knock Mo Xingzheng unconscious. Immediately after, a large number of disciples swarmed in, forcing him to activate his internal energy, ultimately leading to injury and spitting blood.

Episode 6 Recap

When Nan Yan returned to the bamboo forest, she found the ground covered with the corpses of Daoshengtian disciples, while Ji Yang sat weakly nearby, appearing to be severely injured. Fortunately, Nan Yan arrived in time and picked the Lingjing grass to suppress his heart ailment. By the time Ji Yang's symptoms had slightly eased, the sky had completely darkened. After confirming Ji Yang was safe, the heavy burden in Nan Yan's heart was finally lifted.

However, when Ji Yang saw that her arm was injured from picking the grass, he personally bandaged her wound. After this incident, Nan Yan felt that the two had become companions through life and death, and their bond should be deep. She thought that if she made a request now, she would have a chance of success.

So, harboring a request, she specially prepared a copper hot pot for Ji Yang and took the opportunity to subtly mention the matter of lifting the curse, but Ji Yang flatly refused. Nan Yan was displeased, thinking Ji Yang seemed too cold and ungrateful. To her surprise, Ji Yang suddenly asked what kind of feelings existed between the two of them, leaving Nan Yan speechless for a moment. She could only make an excuse to brush it off.

The next morning, Ji Yang's personality changed drastically; he drank alcohol, ate chicken, and behaved strangely, raising Nan Yan's suspicions. It turned out that in order to get the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl, Yin Ya had secretly infiltrated the Lunar Sect alone and transformed into Ji Yang's appearance to approach Nan Yan. Unexpectedly, he was accidentally seen through by her, thus revealing his true nature. Seeing this, Mu Zhanting quickly captured Yin Ya.

Nan Yan deliberately picked up a dagger to intimidate him, wanting to probe his true intentions, but unexpectedly, he took the opportunity to escape. Before Yin Ya could leave the Lunar Sect, he was intercepted by Fu Lang and others. Fu Lang seized the opportunity to make a big fuss, accusing Nan Yan of harboring a demon and using a magical treasure to restrain Yin Ya, preparing to hand him over to his master for disposal.

Nan Yan rushed over to snatch the magical treasure and argued fiercely with Fu Lang until Meng Zhiguang appeared to stop them. Without a word, Meng Zhiguang took the magical treasure and stated that he would make a decision after investigating the truth. Afterwards, Meng Zhiguang interrogated Yin Ya alone about his purpose.

However, Yin Ya used the secret of knowing that the sect leader privately used Precious Treasure Pavilion items to pay off debts as leverage, requesting to stay at the Lunar Sect for several more days. Although Meng Zhiguang agreed, he added a condition: Yin Ya had to clean the sect daily, which would guarantee his safety.

Because Yin Ya came from the Fox Clan and was skilled in illusion techniques, as soon as he finished seeing Meng Zhiguang, he couldn't wait to use his methods to control Nan Yan, attempting to seize the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl. At a crucial moment, Ji Yang returned from recuperating and recovering outside. He first easily repelled Yin Ya outside the door, and then warned him to lift the illusion, or he would be severely punished without mercy.

Although Yin Ya was a prince, his strength was far below Ji Yang's, making him no match. He could only reluctantly lift the illusion. Ji Yang sternly warned Yin Ya to stay away from Nan Yan, but Yin Ya ignored him. Instead, he adopted a weak demeanor to gain Nan Yan's sympathy, pleading pitifully to be taken in.

Nan Yan, showing great kindness, allowed Yin Ya to stay there and tried to send Ji Yang away on the grounds that he had recovered from his illness. Ji Yang was astonished by these words and resolutely demanded to stay. Witnessing Yin Ya putting on an act in front of Nan Yan, an inexplicable jealousy surged in his heart, and he accidentally injured Yin Ya.

Nan Yan personally treated Yin Ya's injuries and curiously asked him the reason for repeatedly trying to steal the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl. Yin Ya, thinking quickly in a difficult situation, temporarily fabricated a lie about seeing the pearl and thinking of his sister. But even so, Nan Yan resolutely refused to give the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl to Yin Ya because the pearl was extraordinarily significant to her, so she advised Yin Ya to give up early.

Yin Ya then turned to Meng Zhiguang for help, wanting to expel Ji Yang from the sect. However, Nan Yan, due to Ji Yang's unhealed injuries, politely declined his request and instead had Yin Ya take on miscellaneous sect duties, such as fertilizing and tending the spiritual fields, as a condition for receiving food. Ji Yang saw Yin Ya pretending to be injured to get close to Nan Yan, and his jealousy flared.

He found an opportunity to ask Nan Yan to go to the kitchen with him to prepare meals, thus separating the two of them. Nan Yan was in a dilemma, but ultimately prioritizing a full stomach, she instructed the two of them to get along well before leaving. Yin Ya and Ji Yang agreed on the surface, but privately they exchanged harsh words and regarded each other as enemies.

Episode 7 Recap

After seeing Nan Yan busy in the kitchen, Ji Yang dropped his pretense and said harsh words to Yin Ya, and personally supervised him farming the spiritual fields. At dinner time, Yin Ya privately advised Nan Yan, warning her not to easily trust Ji Yang, a person of unknown identity, and further suggested sharing a room just in case, but was politely refused by Nan Yan.

Just then, Ji Yang returned, and upon hearing Yin Ya's words, unexpectedly felt they made sense, and proposed sharing a room with Yin Ya instead, which scared Yin Ya into quickly finding an excuse to refuse.

Nan Yan saw through the subtle relationship between the two of them, so she went with the flow and tacitly agreed to their arrangement to share a room, thinking to herself, perhaps this was the principle of "an evil person will be dealt with by another evil person". In the middle of the night, Yin Ya attempted to quietly escape, but unexpectedly, he was tripped by Ji Yang's spell, and his surge of anger had nowhere to vent.

Nan Yan originally thought there would be a quarrel, but only heard silence, so she hid in a hidden corner and used flying insects to tease Yin Ya, thinking that if she let him throw a tantrum for a few days, he would naturally get tired and leave the Lunar Sect.

Ji Yang heard Nan Yan's thoughts, carried a pillow, walked into Nan Yan's room, claiming he wanted to sleep on her bed, and leaned down and approached her closely, with burning eyes. Nan Yan immediately felt extremely shy and overwhelmed, and hastily politely refused on the grounds that men and women should not share a room.

Ji Yang but smiled without speaking, turned and took another pillow from behind her, gestured with his eyes for her to lay it on the floor, and stated directly that as a patient, he needed a good rest to recuperate from his injuries.

Constrained by Ji Yang's identity, Nan Yan couldn't get angry and could only make a floor bed filled with grievances, but by the latter half of the night, as if she thought of something, she hastily got up and lay down beside Ji Yang's bed and pleaded with a radiant smile to lift the curse. Her words were sincere, but unfortunately, Ji Yang firmly refused.

The next morning, Nan Yan was shocked to see Ji Yang's face pale and him unconscious, and upon closer inspection, she found that there were Sky Candle Fireflies swimming around inside his body. To save Ji Yang, Nan Yan reluctantly gave up something precious and sacrificed her scorpion pet, Xiangxiang. Her heart was filled with extreme grief, but she didn't show any of it, and went alone under the tree to build a tomb for Xiangxiang.

Witnessing this scene, Ji Yang felt unbearable guilt. He wanted to offer comfort but was not good with words, so he finally picked up a carving knife and awkwardly carved a wooden sculpture of Xiangxiang, hoping this could slightly comfort Nan Yan's sad heart. Because Nan Yan was in a bad mood, the food she made was tasteless, yet Ji Yang still forced himself to taste a few bites, and even pressured Yin Ya to finish everything in his bowl.

After eating, Ji Yang stood before Xiangxiang's tomb, recalling the pain of losing a pet in his childhood, when his master gave him a wooden sculpture to comfort his longing and pain. On the other hand, Mu Zhanting intended to send Yin Ya away from the Lunar Sect, but Yin Ya knew too many things, and most of them were leaked by Mu Zhanting himself, so Nan Yan let Yin Ya continue to stay here.

Mu Zhanting became unhappy, became increasingly dissatisfied with Yin Ya, seeing him as an eyesore. Die Wan secretly swore an oath, vowing not to let Emperor Shao Cang off lightly, so she secretly ordered her subordinates to investigate the relationship between Shao Cang and Nan Yan. Not long after, Nan Yan, Yin Ya, and Mu Zhanting were suddenly attacked by mysterious black mist. By the time Yin Ya woke up, he was already inside Die Wan's lair.

Using his quick wit and clever tongue, Yin Ya unexpectedly learned that Ji Yang was actually the Emperor of Daoshengtian and had been enemies with Die Wan for a long time. In this way, Yin Ya and Mu Zhanting became Die Wan's bait, intended to lure and capture Nan Yan and seize the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl from her, because with such a bead that can conceal breath and presence, one can travel freely without revealing one's trace.

On the other side, Ji Yang, carrying the Xiangxiang wooden sculpture, returned looking for Nan Yan and found that Nan Yan and the others had disappeared. In his urgency, he immediately activated The Seal OF Romance to search for Nan Yan's whereabouts.

Episode 8 Recap

Die Wan conspired with Yin Ya to set a trap and capture Ji Yang and Mu Zhanting, using them to threaten Nan Yan into handing over the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl, or their lives would be in danger. Nan Yan was extremely anxious and hastily took off the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl and handed it to Die Wan, while simultaneously attempting to counterattack by secretly administering poison.

Die Wan was furious, not only severely injuring Mu Zhanting and Yin Ya, but also accidentally triggering the Seven Sins Manual, causing Nan Yan to lose control and heavily wound Die Wan with one strike. Because Nan Yan couldn't control this power, Die Wan saw the opportunity and decided to take advantage of her weakness, intending to eliminate the demon-restraining technique within Nan Yan to prevent future troubles for the demon race.

At this critical life-and-death moment, Ji Yang arrived at Die Wan's lair in time, pierced her heart with a sword, and Die Wan instantly vanished into thin air, resolving the crisis. However, Die Wan was already controlled by the talisman genie, ignoring Ji Yang as if he wasn't there. The red mark on her forehead shimmered, appearing strangely enchanting, and her eyes were filled with chilling hatred.

Ji Yang tried his best to suppress the power, while Nan Yan struggled fiercely. The two sides battled intensely. Ultimately, Nan Yan was no match and was embraced by Ji Yang. When she regained consciousness, she saw that Ji Yang had put the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl back on her. After returning to the Lunar Sect, Mu Zhanting squatted on the ground, staring at the sky and laughing foolishly.

Recalling the faint glimpse of Ji Yang's heroic figure while he was unconscious, he suddenly realized that the Emperor Shao Cang he had been searching for for so long was actually the person beside him. On one hand, Mu Zhanting was delighted to see his idol so soon, and on the other hand, he was angered that Nan Yan had intentionally concealed it. His feelings were extremely complex. Nan Yan was grateful for Ji Yang's life-saving grace.

Even though Ji Yang often teased her playfully to scare her, she honestly told him what she saw in the bamboo forest that day: what looked like a ground full of corpses was actually because Ji Yang couldn't bear to harm his fellow disciples, so he knocked everyone unconscious instead of killing them. Therefore, Nan Yan was more convinced that the deadly curse was nothing but a bluff, and the reputation of being bloodthirsty that Ji Yang carried was untrue.

All external rumors were malicious slander. Through this period of time spent together, Nan Yan gradually discerned Ji Yang's essentially good nature, so she poured out her heart, admitting that although she couldn't directly help him clear his name, she was willing to fight alongside him and offer unconditional trust and support. Ji Yang appeared calm on the surface, but was deeply moved inside.

He specially gave Nan Yan a piece of fragrant wood that he personally carved as a memento. Nan Yan happily embraced him. This sudden intimacy momentarily stunned Ji Yang. That night, Nan Yan used the copper pot hotpot banquet to cleverly set a scene, intending to investigate whether there was collusion between Yin Ya and Die Wan, especially concerning the secret of the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl.

Yin Ya denied it repeatedly, putting on an act and appearing pitiful, which caused Nan Yan to temporarily put aside her doubts and not press further. At the dinner table, Nan Yan solemnly declared that the four of them were now a community of shared destiny, prospering and suffering together, and it was imperative to keep Ji Yang's identity a secret.

On the other side, Meng Zhiguang, after obtaining the Nine Chapters Sparrow Technique, treasured it like a gem, his confidence doubled. He excitedly invited Nan Rao and others to play mahjong, but unexpectedly still ended up losing. Just as Meng Zhiguang was full of suspicion, Nan Rao quietly transmitted a message explaining that the Nine Chapters Sparrow Technique was actually created anonymously by her in her spare time.

It might give a slight advantage against others, but when used against herself, it would naturally be ineffective. Mu Guanghan suddenly arrived at the Lunar Sect to visit his beloved son. Mu Zhanting had a flash of inspiration and lied that Ji Yang and the others were fellow enthusiasts of a poetry club, and even composed a poem extemporaneously, which made Mu Guanghan feel very pleased. Consequently, he relaxed the restrictions on his son's hobbies.

Mu Zhanting was so excited that he actually wept tears of joy, and then suddenly fainted. It turned out that Yin Ya had secretly added hallucinogenic mushrooms to the copper pot hotpot, intending to use this opportunity to act. However, his tricks were ineffective in front of Nan Yan, as she was skilled in pharmacology and had a thorough knowledge of poisons.

Facing Nan Yan's questioning, Yin Ya confessed that he wanted to go deep into the Filth Valley to search for the Seven Sins Manual, and needed the power of the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl to conceal his whereabouts and escape the pursuit of the Yin Priest. Hearing the name Seven Sins Manual, Nan Yan's heart stirred, and she speculated that Ji Yang's trip was also for this book.

After a conversation, Nan Yan learned that Yin Ya intended to use the power of the Seven Sins Manual to break the demon-sealing formation and rescue his clansmen from hardship. Because Yin Ya's experience was somewhat similar to her own, Nan Yan's anger immediately subsided, and she promised that if there truly was a time to save people in the future, she would lend him the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl.

Nan Yan helped the unconscious Ji Yang onto the bed, secretly admiring his handsome face in her heart. Little did she know, Ji Yang was only pretending to be unconscious and had heard every single word Nan Yan said clearly.

Episode 9 Recap

Mu Zhanting was poisoned by the mushrooms, so Yin Ya helped him back to his room first. Ji Yang saw Nan Yan fall asleep, so he personally carried her to the bed, then immediately went to settle accounts with Yin Ya.

In fact, Ji Yang had long sensed that there was something wrong with the copper pot hotpot, and deliberately pretended to be unconscious to listen to the conversation between Yin Ya and Nan Yan, mocking him that it was simply wishful thinking for him to want to get the Seven Sins Manual on his own.

As soon as he said this, Yin Ya realized that Ji Yang was also here for this book, but he was not discouraged, because the depths of Filth Valley were full of dangers, and whether he could get the Seven Sins Manual depended entirely on luck, not to mention that Nan Yan had promised to lend him the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl.

Ji Yang ignored Yin Ya's arrogance and warned him to keep a low profile while staying at the Lunar Sect. The next day, Mu Zhanting angrily came to find Yin Ya, exposing that he had long known the mushrooms were poisonous and completely disbelieving his explanation. Yin Ya knew he couldn't deceive Mu Zhanting and had to discuss with him how to move past it.

Mu Zhanting said he could forgive him, but he had to agree to one condition of his. Since Nan Yan's loss of control at Die Wan's lair stemmed from the power of the talisman genie within her body, Ji Yang, considering Nan Yan, decided to teach her how to cultivate spiritual energy and improve her cultivation, which would be very helpful for her future poison refining and alchemy.

After hearing this, Nan Yan was moved and willing to practice with Ji Yang, but her foundation was too poor and the learning process was quite difficult, so she asked Ji Yang if there was a quick method. Ji Yang said frankly that there were three quick methods, the first two were empowerment and going against the path, and the last one, after a moment of hesitation, he revealed was dual cultivation.

Nan Yan deliberately teased Ji Yang and proposed dual cultivation with him, which left Ji Yang speechless, and he immediately turned around and fled. In the following days, Nan Yan practiced under Ji Yang's supervision, and her realm quickly improved to the Core Formation stage. Nan Yan was proud of her extraordinary talent, but was reminded by Ji Yang not to be too complacent.

Although her current cultivation was decent, she should remember to conceal her abilities to avoid attracting unnecessary trouble. To celebrate her realm improvement, Nan Yan asked Ji Yang for a day off, pulled him down the mountain to wander around the market, having a sweet half-day, and was mistaken for a couple by the waiter.

Nan Yan bought a lot of herbs to prepare for entering Filth Valley, and also became interested in puppet shows, and took the initiative to perform one for Ji Yang, which made Ji Yang very happy. Later, he realized he was somewhat moved and found an excuse to go back up the mountain first. Mu Zhanting asked Yin Ya to be the mascot of the poetry club to attract more new members.

Yin Ya, having a handle on him in the other party's hands, had to grit his teeth and agree. As expected, in just one day, numerous applicants were attracted, touching and grabbing at Yin Ya, which made Yin Ya very unhappy. Seeing this situation, Mu Zhanting was very satisfied, finally making Yin Ya experience his own pain.

He accidentally let slip, revealing that his original intention was to make Yin Ya look foolish and had no thought of recruiting new members at all. Through this incident, Mu Zhanting finally got some relief, and the matter of the mushroom poisoning last night was considered settled. When evening came, Nan Yan came to find her mother carrying a basket. The mother and daughter chatted, mentioning recent events. Nan Rao teased Nan Yan about her relationship with Ji Yang.

Nan Yan suddenly realized that her mother had known about it all along. Under Nan Rao's guidance, Nan Yan suddenly understood that she had unknowingly fallen for Ji Yang. She couldn't help but shyly and subtly respond to her mother's questions, not yet noticing her mother's unusualness. As they were about to part, Nan Rao told Nan Yan to come over in two days, and she would personally tell her the story of brewing wine.

Afterwards, Nan Yan returned to her room, unexpectedly finding that Ji Yang had suddenly made a bed on the floor. Ji Yang explained that the bed was too hard to sleep on. Just as Nan Yan was full of doubts, she felt the warmth under the quilt and sighed that someone had warmed the bed before she returned. After saying this, she covered Ji Yang with the quilt and used her hand to cover his frozen red ears.

On the other side, Zhu Sui searched for Ji Yang's whereabouts without success and took his anger out on the disciples for their incompetence. Suddenly, a dart directly stuck into the side, accompanied by a piece of paper revealing that Emperor Shao Cang was at the Lunar Sect. Although he didn't know if the news was true or false, Zhu Sui still chose to lead people to the Lunar Sect to search.

Episode 10 Recap

Nan Yan learned that Zhu Sui came to Lunar Sect with an anonymous report letter, so she arranged for Ji Yang to hide in Hegu Valley and gave him the Silver Dragon Bead to conceal his whereabouts. Originally, Ji Yang didn't want to leave, but Nan Yan was very insistent, stating that if he stayed, he would definitely be discovered, and then Lunar Sect would also be implicated and punished.

Mu Zhanting once again was unreasonable and stopped Zhu Sui from searching. Zhu Sui suspected someone was hidden in the cabinet and insisted on opening it. As a result, he found a hideous portrait of Xuan Zai, which angered him so much he trembled all over. He burned the painting on the spot and left with his men swaggering away.

Mo Xingzheng and his group found suspected Shao Cang's handwriting in Nan Yan's residence and finally found Nan Yan in the woods. Nan Yan was eloquent and argued with them until they were speechless. Subsequently, Daoshengtian summoned all disciples to the square and announced that Shao Cang was hiding here. Those who reported with information could get a reward. If anyone knew but didn't report, the entire Lunar Sect would be buried with him.

Fu Lang remembered being attacked by a mysterious force earlier and guessed it was related to Shao Cang. Seeing Fu Lang's unusual expression, Zhu Sui pressed him for Shao Cang's whereabouts, but Fu Lang had no idea. Because Mu Zhanting couldn't stand the people from Daoshengtian, he voluntarily came forward to clarify that he was the one who imitated Shao Cang's handwriting. He publicly wrote the characters "嵇炀" (Ji Yang) to prove his words were true.

Similarly, Nan Yan explained that she came to Lunar Sect to treat her mother's old illness, so she captured a medicinal person named Ji Yang. Today, he was not within the sect and was very likely to have just gone down the mountain. However, Zhu Sui completely disbelieved their statements, took out a portrait, and questioned Nan Yan if she had seen this person.

He even wanted to interrogate her using the Heart-Questioning Lightning, which angered Mu Zhanting, who immediately started fighting with Zhu Sui. Mu Zhanting was ultimately sneak-attacked and restrained by Zhu Sui. Nan Yan still denied seeing Shao Cang. Zhu Sui cast a spell to unleash the extreme punishment of lightning, causing her to be severely injured. In contrast, Ji Yang guessed that Yin Ya was the informant. He was furious and wanted to teach him a lesson.

Suddenly, he sensed the existence of the Heart-Questioning Lightning and realized that Nan Yan was in trouble. Subsequently, Ji Yang rushed back to the sect, hiding in the dark to block the fatal blow for Nan Yan, and used magic to transfer the Heart-Questioning Lightning, injuring Zhu Sui and causing him to fall to the ground. Zhu Sui was enraged and yelled for Ji Yang to come out quickly, or he would attack Nan Yan again.

At this moment, Meng Zhiguang was playing mahjong elsewhere. When he saw the distant dark clouds and constant thunder, his face changed, and he immediately returned to Lunar Sect to stop Ji Yang from killing indiscriminately. He told him that once he started this, it might be irreparable later. Meng Zhiguang summoned Yin Ya and brought him before Zhu Sui, signaling Yin Ya to admit to Ji Yang's identity.

Zhu Sui indeed did not have enough evidence to prove that Ji Yang was Shao Cang. He was angry and wanted to take Yin Ya away but was stopped by Meng Zhiguang. Meng Zhiguang said that as the Sect Master, if he had to report to Daoshengtian even about taking in a spirit pet, the entire Wuzhou region would be in turmoil from now on.

Moreover, the demon race had been imprisoned for hundreds of years, and small demons like him were like ants. Daoshengtian should rule with virtue and not exterminate them. After Zhu Sui and his group left angrily, Meng Zhiguang almost went weak in the knees. The thought of offending Daoshengtian made him somewhat fearful. Fortunately, Nan Yan was not seriously injured. Meng Zhiguang found it a bit strange.

Logically, Nan Yan hadn't even learned to channel spiritual energy into her body, but now she had actually reached the Core Formation realm. It was precisely because of this that the Heart-Questioning Lightning couldn't injure her foundation, and she would only need a few days to recover. Ji Yang thanked Meng Zhiguang for protecting him today, knowing deeply that everything stemmed from himself. He promised to leave on his own and never step into Lunar Sect again.

To this end, Ji Yang put the Silver Dragon Bead back around Nan Yan's neck and left a note before leaving. Yin Ya felt guilty for implicating Nan Yan and personally treated her injuries. But just as he was about to leave, he was taken away by Ji Yang. Ji Yang completely confirmed that he was the informant and decided to kill this traitor to avoid bringing threats to Nan Yan.

Episode 11 Recap

Meng Zhiguang had long planned this, so he used Yin Ya's identity as a fox demon to cover for Ji Yang, misleading everyone into believing that Lunar Sect was hiding a small demon, not Emperor Shao Cang. Thanks to Yin Ya's assistance, Ji Yang was able to escape safely. However, due to Nan Yan's serious injury, Ji Yang felt deeply remorseful and guilty. After much deliberation, he finally decided to leave and entrusted Nan Yan to Meng Zhiguang.

After Nan Yan woke up, she found the Silver Dragon Bead hanging around her neck again and a farewell letter from Ji Yang on the table. An indescribable sense of loss welled up in her heart. Mu Zhanting also felt great reluctance to part, knowing that once they parted today, there would be no guarantee of meeting again.

But in an instant, Nan Yan smiled and said that once she goes to Hegu Valley to get the hail-blood golden branch, she can meet Ji Yang again. Mu Zhanting was very happy to hear this and voluntarily offered to accompany Nan Yan. He also said that tomorrow is the Mid-Autumn Festival, suggesting they should celebrate well today.

Nan Yan was about to go down the mountain to visit her mother and took the opportunity to invite Mu Zhanting to spend the festival together. Mu Zhanting gladly agreed. As they were talking, they suddenly realized Yin Ya was no longer with them. Nan Yan worried that Ji Yang might harm Yin Ya, but Mu Zhanting comforted her not to worry too much. At this moment, Meng Ying arrived carrying gifts to see Nan Yan.

Although she guessed the fox demon's identity had nothing to do with Ji Yang, she didn't care about Ji Yang's true identity. She only hoped Nan Yan would be safe. In addition, Meng Ying personally made mooncakes as a gift. Nan Yan accepted them with a smile, a warm feeling flowing in her heart. On the other hand, Ji Yang did not kill Yin Ya but kept him by his side, having his own plans.

Yin Ya knew tomorrow was the Mid-Autumn Festival and couldn't help but gloat mockingly at Ji Yang's departure from Nan Yan without saying goodbye. It was supposed to be a day for reunion, but instead, the two were separated by vast distances. Ji Yang's face darkened. He used magic to shatter the chicken leg in Yin Ya's hand as a small punishment. As night fell, Nan Yan held the wooden carving 'Xiangxiang' in her hand, silently missing Ji Yang.

She knew he left to avoid implicating her, but she also resented him for not expressing his feelings. If he had told her, she might not have been unable to understand. And at this moment, Ji Yang, far away, heard Nan Yan's thoughts. His heart was filled with mixed emotions, which finally turned into a soft sigh. Today's events were tumultuous, and Nan Rao never appeared. Based on this, Meng Zhiguang speculated that Nan Rao's condition was worrying.

He hurried to Nan Rao's residence and witnessed her extremely weak appearance, his heart full of sorrow. He advised her to hold on for a little longer for Nan Yan's sake. Nan Rao believed that at Nan Yan's age, she should be traveling the five states and seeing the vast world, not being trapped here because of her.

She only hoped that after she was gone, Nan Yan could find someone's heart, gain unrestricted freedom with this heart, and live a safe life forever. Mu Zhanting carried many gifts and accompanied Nan Yan to visit Nan Rao. Unexpectedly, Nan Rao was not home, and they only saw Meng Zhiguang.

Meng Zhiguang tried to cover up by using the excuse that Nan Rao was traveling, but Nan Yan keenly noticed the tomb-sweeping items in his hand and felt increasingly uneasy. Under Nan Yan's persistent questioning, Meng Zhiguang reluctantly revealed the truth. Nan Yan's heart ached terribly. She knelt before Nan Rao's grave, recalling past moments, tears streaming down her face. Ji Yang heard the news and rushed over. He saw Nan Yan leaning against a tree, asleep.

He gently brushed away the petals from her hair, which unexpectedly woke Nan Yan. Feeling compassion, he hugged her close, letting her tears wet his clothes as she poured out her longing for her mother. As Nan Yan's emotions calmed slightly, she looked up at the late twilight sky. The time for parting quietly arrived.

She resolutely gave her most cherished Silver Dragon Bead to Ji Yang, insisting that he accept it, saying that the trip to Hegu Valley was extremely dangerous, and only this Silver Dragon Bead could conceal his aura and help him turn danger into safety. Nan Yan personally put the Silver Dragon Bead around Ji Yang's neck. Their eyes met. Nan Yan instructed Ji Yang to remember one thing, that he owed her and should know gratitude and repay it.

Only by surviving and coming out could he repay this kindness. Ji Yang looked at Nan Yan and slowly nodded. Since Die Wan was the only one who witnessed Yin Zhu and survived, and still had Yin Zhu's aura on her, Li Chi, the Sect Master of the Heavenly Evil Dao Sect, cruelly refined her into a demon pellet to help himself deceive Yin Zhu and go deep into Hegu Valley.

To achieve the great cause of the demon race, Li Chi further dispatched elders Zhan Xian and Deng Ba to disguise themselves as righteous path cultivators and enter Hegu Valley with him, vowing to destroy the Seven Sins Manual. Nan Yan returned home and was told by Meng Zhiguang to go back to Lunar Sect to spend the Mid-Autumn Festival, but she insisted on staying to keep vigil for her mother until tomorrow.

Only then would she enter Hegu Valley to find the hail-blood golden branch, refine it into the Five-Poison Heart Pill to cure Ji Yang's heart illness, unwilling to let the regret she felt for her mother repeat itself with Ji Yang. Seeing Nan Yan's firm resolve, Meng Zhiguang finally agreed, repeatedly warning Mu Zhanting and Nan Yan never to enter the inner area of Hegu Valley. Once they found the hail-blood golden branch, they must return immediately.

Episode 12 Recap

After Meng Zhiguang left, Mu Zhanting discovered the letter Nan Rao left for Nan Yan, as well as over a dozen jars of fine wine buried deep under the peach tree. It turned out that Nan Rao had long known about her daughter cultivating with Ji Yang, and seeing her daughter had met a good person, she felt relieved and could pass away peacefully.

Those Chanlu Bei wines were all personally brewed by Nan Rao, and each jar commemorated Nan Yan's growth years, every birthday. Yin Ya brought mooncakes to Ji Yang, and his gaze fell on the Silver Dragon Bead around Ji Yang's neck, prompting him to tease that Nan Yan treated him differently.

Because they were entering Hegu Valley tomorrow, Yin Ya speculated that people from Daoshengtian would be waiting at the entrance to intercept Ji Yang, so he planned to use the charm spell, which the Nightmare Fox clan excels at, to transform Ji Yang into a young woman, thus avoiding the eyes and ears of the Daoshengtian disciples and ensuring their movements remained hidden.

The next morning, Mu Zhanting accompanied Nan Yan to Hegu Valley, but unexpectedly, he was trapped by a spell cast by Mu Guanghan halfway there. Just as Mu Zhanting pessimistically thought he would break his promise to Nan Yan, to his surprise, Mu Guanghan made a grand appearance, once again released the restraints on him, and insisted that he return home with him. Between the father and son, their ideas clashed, and conflicts were numerous.

Mu Guanghan hoped his son could inherit his mantle and become a top master in the martial world; whereas Mu Zhanting was fond of poetry, calligraphy, and painting, and had no interest in martial arts, which Mu Guanghan regarded as "not doing proper work," causing him to lose face completely. Mu Guanghan reiterated that as the young master of Longdu, inheriting the family business was Mu Zhanting's destiny and he had no right to refuse.

As soon as these words were spoken, they stirred up Mu Zhanting's strong aversion and dissatisfaction. Nan Yan saw Mu Guanghan about to hit Mu Zhanting and quickly stepped forward to stop him, advising him to respect Mu Zhanting's choice, because everything in the world has its unique place, and people are the same, and paths are also different.

In the past, Nan Yan was often considered dull by her teacher, but her mother taught her not to be bothered by others' words, and that only by finding the path one loves can the light of wisdom shine. Therefore, in Nan Yan's view, if her mother had forced her to do something she didn't want to do in the name of inheriting the family business back then, she would likely have achieved nothing by now.

Using her personal experience as a lesson, Nan Yan believed that there was no overnight feud between fathers and sons in the world and that they should treat each other with honesty, and any gap could be resolved through communication. Mu Guanghan heard this. Although he felt Nan Yan's words were familiar, he deeply felt their truth, so he decided to take Mu Zhanting back to Longdu to have a good talk with his son.

Just as Mu Zhanting firmly stated that he would accompany Nan Yan to Hegu Valley, people from Daoshengtian suddenly appeared. Mu Zhanting seized the opportunity to complain to his father, stating directly that Zhu Sui had slandered him many times. When Mu Guanghan heard this, he was furious and immediately attacked Zhu Sui. Seeing this, Mu Zhanting quickly took the opportunity to pull Nan Yan and escape the scene.

By the time Mu Guanghan recovered, the two had disappeared without a trace. On the other side, Yin Ya successfully persuaded Ji Yang to agree to transform and taught him to imitate a woman's words and deeds to better hide his identity, so that even if the disciples of Daoshengtian had Fiery Golden Eyes, it would be difficult to see through Ji Yang's disguise.

Given that the Fox clan is exceptionally sensitive to Yin Zhu's aura, Ji Yang had Yin Ya lead the way, and once they penetrated deep into the core area of Hegu Valley, they would directly attack Yin Zhu's lair. Facing Ji Yang's forceful coercion, Yin Ya was unwilling but could only reluctantly agree.

At the entrance of Hegu Valley, Ji Yang and Yin Ya, disguised as women, used the alias "Twin Lotuses of Tianshan" and cleverly passed Daoshengtian's inspection, narrowly getting through with difficulties. Mo Xingzheng had doubts about the identity of the woman Ji Yang was disguised as and followed them all the way. Unexpectedly, Ji Yang noticed him and then questioned the other party why he had shown mercy.

Ji Yang told Mo Xingzheng that some things are better left unknown, and his task was to apprehend the fugitive Shao Cang and bring him to justice. From now on, the two of them should no longer consider any personal feelings. At this moment, Zhu Sui suddenly arrived with people. Ji Yang immediately knocked out Mo Xingzheng. Just as the two sides were about to start fighting, Yin Ya appeared in time and took Ji Yang away.

On the other side, Nan Yan seemed to hear her mother's voice in a daze. That voice kept repeating a poem full of sorrow and resentment until she was awakened by Mu Zhanting. To avoid their minds being disturbed by vengeful spirits, the two decided to cover their ears and proceed. However, not long after entering Hegu Valley, they unexpectedly encountered the Demon Clan elders Deng Ba and Zhan Xian.

Although Mu Zhanting fought hard, he was ultimately no match for the Demon Clan elders, and Nan Yan was unfortunately kidnapped. At this critical moment, Nan Yan, thinking quickly, used poison to incapacitate Zhan Xian and broke free from her restraints. After escaping the danger, she was still shaken and secretly grumbled that Ji Yang's "jinx" had actually come true, making her really encounter the Demon Clan.

At this time, Ji Yang learned that Nan Yan was in danger through The Seal OF Romance. He quickly rushed to the rescue, and the four of them reunited again. Ji Yang was deeply worried about Nan Yan's safety and strongly urged her and Mu Zhanting to leave Hegu Valley, but Nan Yan's attitude was firm. She said she had already lost her mother and did not want to lose Ji Yang again.

Seeing Mu Zhanting solemnly promise to protect Nan Yan, Ji Yang finally agreed. He took out a map and analyzed the possible hiding place of the hail-blood golden branch for Nan Yan.

Episode 13 Recap

A group of people arrived at the bank of the dark river. Given the hidden dangers within the river, which were unpredictable, everyone discussed countermeasures. Nan Yan looked around, seeing towering ancient trees, and suggested cutting down trees to make simple small boats. To prevent unforeseen events, she also prepared Five-Poison Spirit Grass for everyone, ensuring they would not be disturbed by poisons.

Since a boat from one tree couldn't carry four people, Nan Yan and Ji Yang decided to take one and leave first, while Yin Ya and Mu Zhanting needed to find another way. During this time, Nan Yan curiously asked Ji Yang how he found her. Ji Yang revealed the secret of The Seal OF Romance. Just then, Nan Yan accidentally bumped into Ji Yang's arms. Their eyes met, and the atmosphere became subtle and ambiguous.

At this moment, Yin Ya and Mu Zhanting argued endlessly over snatching a tree. Despite mutually disliking each other, they still had to cooperate to make a small boat. Just then, a woman in red quietly appeared behind them. Initially, they mistook her for teasing them. By the time they realized, it was too late, and they were immediately tied up by the red-clothed vengeful spirit with vines.

On the other hand, Nan Yan learned about The Seal OF Romance through Ji Yang and couldn't help but feel a bit awkward, thinking about how Ji Yang must have heard her badmouthing him behind his back. But Nan Yan didn't quite understand why her mother would place The Seal OF Romance on Ji Yang.

Ji Yang thought it was likely because Nan Rao knew she didn't have much time left and wanted to find someone she could entrust her daughter to. As soon as he finished speaking, a voice very similar to Nan Rao's came from nearby and tied up Nan Yan and Ji Yang.

The female vengeful spirit said that because they took away her and her sister's love tree, they must stay until a destined person appears, otherwise, they must remain with the love tree forever. However, Nan Yan was enchanted by the vengeful spirit's voice and slowly recited a poem about the love tree. To stop Nan Yan, Ji Yang leaned in and kissed her.

When Nan Yan gradually regained consciousness, she suddenly found The Seal OF Romance flashing on her palm and could hear Ji Yang's thoughts. She looked at Ji Yang with affection. The female vengeful spirit mistakenly thought Yin Ya and Mu Zhanting were lovers and made a contract for them to be a couple in the next life. The two cried out in pain. Fortunately, everyone landed safely and split up.

Nan Yan and Mu Zhanting searched for the hail-blood golden branch, while Ji Yang and Yin Ya went to find the Seven Sins Manual. They agreed to meet alive outside Hegu Valley. Yin Ya specifically reminded Ji Yang that entering the inner area was a matter of life and death, and romance would only affect the speed of his sword draw. Unexpectedly, he immediately drew his sword to demonstrate that his speed was not an issue.

--- On the other side, Mu Guanghan and others waited outside the valley. Meng Zhiguang rushed over and voluntarily explained to the Dragon King that Mu Zhanting insisted on coming to the Lunar Sect, and he couldn't stop him. Mu Guanghan read the promise letter Mu Zhanting had personally written and no longer held Meng Zhiguang responsible for accepting Mu Zhanting as a disciple. Here, Nan Yan followed Mu Zhanting deeper into the woods.

The further they walked, the colder it got. Mu Zhanting wanted to use fire to warm her body, but for some reason, he couldn't use his spiritual power, so he had to give up. Along the way, a spiritual beast resembling a moose with seven-colored light on its body rushed towards them and attacked. Nan Yan was accidentally scratched by the beast. Unexpectedly, the spiritual beast smelled Nan Yan's blood and immediately bowed down to Nan Yan.

Mu Zhanting carefully observed the spiritual beast and confirmed that it was the legendary divine beast Fuzhu. He was greatly shocked, especially seeing Fuzhu so close to Nan Yan, not only healing her wound but also giving her the hail-blood golden branch. Seeing this, Nan Yan was filled with both surprise and joy. She immediately refined the Five-Poison Heart Pill on the spot, unable to stop crying tears of joy.

As Nan Yan's tears fell on the pill, a gust of wind hit. Mu Zhanting heard other voices nearby and quickly hid Nan Yan and himself. They discovered that it was people from Daoshengtian. At the same time, Yin Ya and Ji Yang arrived at a place filled with hanging bells and talismans. Yin Ya tried to step forward but was repelled. Ji Yang easily broke the formation here.

Episode 14 Recap

Because there were people from Daoshengtian nearby, Mu Zhanting transformed into Yin Ya's appearance, skillfully diverting their attention, allowing Nan Yan to seize the opportunity to escape. However, the upper scroll talisman genie was trapped by Ji Yang, and in a moment of desperation, it summoned the talisman genie inside Nan Yan, forcing Nan Yan to uncontrollably venture deeper into the inner area.

As the upper and lower scroll talisman genies merged, the Seven Sins Manual cultivation technique within Nan Yan erupted violently again, causing her to suffer qi deviation. Seeing this, Ji Yang approached Nan Yan desperately, trying his best to suppress the talisman genie's turmoil, but unexpectedly discovered that her Chongming bloodline was quietly awakening within her. Fortunately, Nan Yan quickly regained consciousness but had fallen into a coma.

Ji Yang gently embraced her, softly whispering to reassure her not to be afraid. On the other hand, the group from Tianxie Dao entered Hegu Valley, and were shocked to find that the Seven Sins Manual had reappeared in the world. Li Chi was furious and immediately ordered that the host must be found, and no matter what power was behind them, they should be killed without mercy.

Meanwhile, Zhu Sui led his men to surround Yin Ya, not expecting that the person was actually Mu Zhanting disguised. Mu Zhanting's sarcastic remarks completely ignited Zhu Sui's anger, causing him to lose control and injure Mu Zhanting. To protect Nan Yan and the others, Mu Zhanting stood up resolutely and blocked in front. Just as his life hung by a thread, Mu Guanghan descended like a deity, striking out with a palm, sending everyone flying back.

Seeing this, Zhu Sui knew he was no match for Mu Guanghan and hastily led his subordinates to escape. Having been confirmed by Ji Yang that Nan Yan was a descendant of Chongming, Yin Ya knew that only Nan Yan could merge the talisman genies into one. Seeing that Nan Yan was about to wake up, Yin Ya decided to leave first. Afterwards, Ji Yang explained the whole story of the Seven Sins Manual to Nan Yan.

Seeing Ji Yang was injured, Nan Yan quickly took out the Five-Poison Heart Pill and personally fed it to him. Although Mu Zhanting was severely injured in the fierce battle, he was fortunate to be treated by Mu Guanghan in time. Mu Guanghan took this incident as a lesson, believing that Mu Zhanting needed to learn from it, that only strength can control one's destiny, and that the humiliation he suffered today must be personally avenged another day.

After his subordinate understood Mu Guanghan's intention, he escorted Mu Guanghan and Mu Zhanting away from Hegu Valley. After a short rest, Ji Yang's condition improved slightly. He confessed his feelings to Nan Yan, mentioning the past incident where he almost endangered Nan Yan's life to obtain the talisman genie, filled with guilt. Nan Yan, however, didn't mind at all, saying with a smile that if he truly felt guilty, he might as well continue to be her medicine person.

The emotions between the two quietly grew warmer at this moment. Just as Nan Yan and Ji Yang were understanding each other's feelings, Zhan Xian and Deng Ba suddenly burst in, breaking this beautiful moment. They used Yin Ya as bait to force Ji Yang to hand over the Seven Sins Manual.

On the surface, Ji Yang pretended to be indifferent and unmoved, but Nan Yan cared about the little fox's safety, so she proactively proposed a trade and secretly sent a telepathic message to Ji Yang, telling him to focus on dealing with the troublesome Deng Ba. However, during this process, Nan Yan was unfortunately injured and even fell off the Jue Ji Ya due to Zhan Xian's attack.

Seeing this, Ji Yang hesitated not and followed Nan Yan by jumping off the cliff, leaving Yin Ya alone at the cliff edge. Li Chi concluded that the two had no chance of survival, so he ordered Li Jin to end Yin Ya's life. It just so happened that at this moment, a subordinate reported that the Yin Zhu were about to return to their nests.

To avoid unnecessary trouble, Li Chi decided to retreat immediately, and Li Jin spared Yin Ya's life. Meng Zhiguang anxiously entered the valley and encountered Mu Guanghan and his group, but failed to find any clue about Nan Yan. Seeing that Hegu Valley was about to close, he secretly vowed that even if he sacrificed his old life, he would ensure Nan Yan's safety.

On the other side, Ji Yang and Nan Yan happened to land on a tree branch, still tens of thousands of feet from the cliff top. Moreover, Hegu Valley was about to close. Once the Yin Zhu fully returned to their nests, their hiding place would be exposed. Even with the protection of the Silver Dragon Pearl, it would only be a brief respite. At this critical juncture, Ji Yang decided to sacrifice himself to save Nan Yan.

Ji Yang kissed Nan Yan deeply and placed the Silver Dragon Pearl in her hand, exhausting all his spiritual power to send her safely back to the top of Jue Ji Ya. Yin Ya happened to catch Nan Yan at the cliff edge. Seeing Nan Yan was emotionally agitated, he had no choice but to cast a spell to make her fall asleep.

While Hegu Valley was not yet completely sealed, Yin Ya carried Nan Yan on his back and climbed up the steps with difficulty. During this time, Yin Ya asked for help from disciples passing by, but these people were indifferent and ignored him, making him deeply feel the coldness and heartlessness of the world. Just as he was almost in despair, thinking the two would be trapped forever in Hegu Valley, Meng Zhiguang suddenly appeared, forcefully broke open the valley gate, and personally rescued both Yin Ya and Nan Yan.

Episode 15 Recap

As soon as Meng Zhiguang exited the valley mouth, he saw people from Daoshengtian waiting outside, so he had Yin Ya escort Nan Yan away first while he stayed behind to deal with them. Master Chikku followed closely behind Yin Ya and Nan Yan, expressing his willingness to form a good connection with them.

At first, Yin Ya didn't understand his intention and almost mistook the Master for a bad person, until he saw the unique accessory on his body and realized he was from Chou Shan Fan Hai. Master Chikku frankly admitted that his original purpose for this trip was to guide Nan Yan into the mountain for quiet cultivation, but after seeing Yin Ya, he felt a desire to enlighten him.

Master Chikku believed that a war between the human and demon races would lead to widespread suffering. If the two races could resolve their differences and coexist peacefully, it would undoubtedly reduce many unnecessary sacrifices. However, the Seven Sins Manual currently cannot help Yin Ya; only by diligently cultivating and attaining enlightenment through the Dao can he try again. However, Yin Ya did not listen to the advice and insisted on turning around and leaving.

As a result, the Master cast a spell, causing him to fall into a coma. When Nan Yan woke up, she was filled with anxiety, wanting to find Ji Yang. Master Chikku blocked her way and told her there was a more convenient path leading to Hui Valley. Nan Yan stepped into the light gate without hesitation, only to find that she couldn't enter the valley.

At this moment, Ji Yang fell into the old nest of the Yin Zhu at the bottom of the valley cliff and unexpectedly learned that this place was actually Huangquan Prison, where the residual soul of Demon Lord Sen Luo was imprisoned. Sen Luo attempted to be reborn using Ji Yang's body. Ji Yang devised a plan to lure Sen Luo into his body, and then used a Heaven and Earth Forbidden Technique, intending to perish together with the opponent.

As Hui Valley completely collapsed, it became a place of utter despair. Nan Yan could not accept the fact that Ji Yang had passed away and tried to force her way into Hui Valley again and again, but all her attempts failed. Watching helplessly as The Seal OF Romance, which represented their bond, gradually dissipated, Nan Yan's heart also sank into endless darkness.

In the end, she could only cry despairingly, sitting quietly under the tree and holding onto her memories. Mu Zhanting was severely injured, and his wounds were difficult to heal. His constitution was peculiar, with cold and heat intertwined, making it hard for ordinary medicine to reach the root of the illness. Even the Undying True God Pill was ineffective, and his life was hanging by a thread.

Seeing this, Mu Guanghan did not hesitate to expend nearly half of his lifespan, personally transferring a large amount of spiritual power to Mu Zhanting. Only then was he barely able to stabilize his life, and he strictly ordered his subordinates to keep this matter a secret. After calming down, Nan Yan returned to her dwelling and saw Ji Yang's belongings.

Thinking about the bits and pieces of their past, she deeply knew that she could not fail Ji Yang's expectations and entrustment, and decided to live on well. Afterwards, Nan Yan became a disciple under Master Chikku and cultivated diligently, hoping to achieve something in the future. Master Chikku greatly admired Nan Yan's resilience and determination and specially bestowed upon her the dharma name "Zhen Yuan", meaning her heart is pure and her cultivation will be complete.

That night, Yin Ya asked Nan Yan if she had made up her mind. Nan Yan firmly stated that she would no longer wallow in pain, so as not to let down Ji Yang's sacrifice. She swore to personally eliminate all the defiled demons in the world to avenge Ji Yang and allow him to rest in peace.

After hearing this, Yin Ya supported Nan Yan's decision and planned to live in a thatched cottage on the mountainside, ready to welcome her back at any time. The next day, Master Chikku sent Nan Yan into the Nine Tribulation Tower. Because Patriarch Ji Ming attained enlightenment of the Dao principles in this tower, the name Chou Shan Fan Hai also originated from this.

After Nan Yan entered the tower, Yin Ya wanted to descend the mountain but was stopped by Master Chikku. The Master stated frankly that the Yan Sheng Fox race is violent and greedy by nature. If they do not cultivate diligently, their bloodline will become increasingly impure, making it difficult for their cultivation to advance. The current plan is to gradually unleash the bloodline. After saying this, he temporarily suppressed him in an alms bowl for quiet cultivation.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Nan Yan was disturbed by illusions inside the tower and quickly passed the tests of the three heavenly tribulations: joy, anger, and sorrow. After waking up, Nan Yan found herself in the Jade Mansion where talisman genies were kept. A voice in her heart told her that the next trial she would face was abandoning feelings and severing love, so she had to forget Ji Yang.

Episode 16 Recap

The inner demon told Nan Yan that only by completely forgetting the seven emotions, with a light body and clear heart, could she undertake destiny and control the power of the Seven Sins Manual technique. However, Nan Yan refused to erase her memories. The next second, she saw the inner demon take off its mask, revealing a face identical to her own.

After the initial shock, Nan Yan stated frankly that she refused to forget Ji Yang because she had feelings, and only with feelings could one know good and evil, and see the world's injustice and suffering. In the end, Nan Yan let the inner demon return to her body, bore the seven emotions, exterminated demons and purified the world, and walked the most difficult path in the world.

On the other side, Mu Zhanting woke up and learned of Ji Yang's passing. He spent three consecutive days drowning his sorrows in his room, and later demanded to go out and avenge Ji Yang. Mu Guanghan reprimanded his son, saying he was loyal but incapable. The current Mu Zhanting couldn't even withstand Zhu Sui's three strikes, and would lose his life if he encountered Li Chi.

For this reason, Mu Guanghan tested Mu Zhanting with one tenth of his power, and Mu Zhanting was completely no match for him. In contrast, Yin Ya entered the space within the Purple Gold Bowl and was told by Master Chikku that he needed to cultivate there. Only by passing the trial could he take the spiritual pill and break the demon-sealing formation. Yin Ya was half-believing, half-doubting Master Chikku's words.

Unexpectedly, a little boy named Zhen Fang appeared out of thin air in the room. He took on the role of a senior brother to supervise Yin Ya's cultivation. Three years later, Mu Zhanting refined the Great Sun Fire Essence. Although he still couldn't compare to Mu Guanghan, he had made progress, which greatly pleased Mu Guanghan. However, Mu Guanghan still refused to let him go out for revenge. Yin Ya improved his cultivation and obtained the spiritual pill.

To his surprise, the so-called spiritual pill was just an ordinary pill. The person he had been sparring with during this time was an avatar of Master Chikku. Now, Nan Yan had successfully cultivated the Seven Sins Manual and condensed the Great Dao. A month ago, she had descended the mountain and become a Blood-Hand Shura, killing demons upon encountering them and becoming famous throughout the world.

She sent a message informing him that she was investigating the Heavenly Evil Sect's child abduction incident in Pingfeng Mountain in the Northern Territory and that he should go find her immediately after exiting his isolated cultivation. However, she encountered demon cultivators in an abandoned village. Just as Yin Ya and the demon cultivators were preparing to fight, Nan Yan suddenly descended from the sky and effortlessly annihilated the demon cultivator's soul.

Yin Ya couldn't believe how much Nan Yan had changed; she killed demons without even blinking. But Nan Yan stated that these demon cultivators had committed numerous evil deeds and deserved to die. Regarding Ji Yang, Nan Yan was unwilling to mention him anymore, only wanting to imitate the Holy Master, killing demons to attain the Dao. Yin Ya sighed, lamenting that her mental state was indeed firm and she could let go once she said she would.

In Huangquan Prison, Ji Yang, who had been sleeping for three years, was resurrected due to his special physique combined with the Chongming Bird's blood left by Nan Yan. However, upon waking, he had lost all his memories and his temperament had changed drastically. Sen Luo used various means to coax and deceive Ji Yang, delusionally attempting to use his hand to collect the Five Hells. Ji Yang simply turned the opponent's plan against him.

As Sen Luo was sealed within his body, he became half-human, half-demon, absorbed all the Yin Zhu, and became the Master of Huangquan Prison. Subsequently, Ji Yang casually left the bottom of the valley to find some fun. First, he went on a killing spree in a tavern, and then entered Jiming Hall, obstructing Sen Luo from going mad before the Sen Luo statue. As he passed by Nan Yan's dwelling place, Ji Yang suddenly felt somewhat familiar.

He asked a passerby and learned that the Lunar Sect was nearby. Today marked Nan Rao's death anniversary. Meng Zhiguang looked at the Blood Phoenix Hairpin, seeing the object and remembering the deceased. Unexpectedly, Li Chi and his sister broke down the door and entered, showing great respect to a black-robed man wearing a mask, addressing him as their master. According to what Meng Zhiguang understood, the master of the Heavenly Evil Sect was the Demon Lord Sen Luo.

However, Sen Luo had already been destroyed long ago, so the identity of the person before him caused Meng Zhiguang to feel doubt. However, the black-robed man directly demanded that Meng Zhiguang hand over the Blood Phoenix Hairpin, only to find that the item was not in his hand at all. Li Chi suspected that Meng Zhiguang was using a diversion tactic.

He immediately took Li Jin to the outskirts to intercept Fu Lang and Meng Ying, severely injuring the two of them. To protect Meng Ying, Fu Lang had no choice but to take out the Blood Phoenix Hairpin. Unexpectedly, Li Chi actually wanted to kill them to silence them. Fortunately, Nan Yan appeared in time to save them. After Li Chi and his sister retreated, Nan Yan revealed herself and asked Fu Lang what had happened.

Fu Lang frankly said that his master had ordered him and Meng Ying to deliver a hairpin to Tianshao Peak and personally hand it over to Sword Master Meng Xiaolou. At the same time, Ji Yang broke into the Lunar Sect and was surrounded by demon cultivators. After he eliminated all the demon cultivators, he saw Meng Zhiguang being attacked by the black-robed man and subconsciously blocked him, repelling the black-robed man for him.

Episode 17 Recap

Ji Yang exchanged blows with the black-robed man and discovered that besides himself, there was someone else in this world who could control Yin Zhu. After the black-robed man left, Meng Zhiguang recognized Ji Yang, who had lived here before. Unfortunately, Ji Yang no longer remembered him and Nan Yan, and his time was drawing near. Before he passed away, he told Ji Yang that anyone destined to be protected by him could not escape, including himself.

In the end, Meng Zhiguang uttered Nan Rao's name and completely stopped breathing. By the time Nan Yan and others hurried to the Lunar Sect, Ji Yang had long since vanished without a trace. Meng Ying was grief-stricken and wanted revenge. Nan Yan comforted her, telling her to calm down first and complete what Meng Zhiguang had instructed her to do. Privately, Nan Yan told Yin Ya that she had sensed an aura of Yin Zhu.

She suspected that the Yin Zhu coming from the Filth Valley was related to the gatha. Previously, Nan Yan purified the world and eliminated karma, achieving positive results. When Nan Yan emerged from her secluded cultivation, Master Chikku gave her four lines of gatha: "Sen Luo reappears, all things are destroyed, the four seas converge, the five continents re-emerge.

" Master Chikku stated that these four lines of gatha were left by the ancestor Holy Master, and only those who had gone through nine tribulations could comprehend them. The only people who had emerged from the Nine Tribulations Pagoda were the Holy Master and Nan Yan. Therefore, Nan Yan bore the heavy responsibility of eradicating demons and restoring the four seas and five continents to clarity.

Ji Yang returned to Jiming Hall and asked Sen Luo about the identity of the black-robed man just now. Sen Luo was unaware of this but emphasized that the Blood Phoenix Hairpin could open the formation core of Nancang Youquan Prison, so he must quickly catch up to the black-robed man and retrieve the hairpin.

Although Ji Yang knew about the Blood Phoenix Hairpin and Youquan Prison, he guessed that the black-robed man coveted this item surely to gather the power of Yin Zhu and disrupt the cultivation world. He suddenly became interested in getting involved and planned to go to Nancang to avenge Meng Zhiguang along the way. However, as soon as Ji Yang left, Nan Yan and Yin Ya arrived at Jiming Hall and sensed the aura of Yin Zhu.

Ji Yang heard righteous disciples discussing the Blood-Hand Shura in the teahouse and scoffed at it, provoking their dissatisfaction. Nan Yan and Ji Yang traveled overnight to the teahouse. By chance, they encountered righteous disciples being harassed by demon cultivators and had to intervene to rescue them, revealing the identity of the Blood-Hand Shura.

It was precisely because of this that Pei Zhaogang, the leader of the Heavenly Evil Five Ghosts, personally came to settle accounts with Nan Yan, vowing to avenge his disciples and grand-disciples. However, he was defeated and eliminated by Nan Yan within a few rounds of combat. Nan Yan tracked the murderer nearby through the Yin Zhu aura.

She suspected that the other party wanted to seize the prison using the Blood Phoenix Hairpin and decided to rest here for the night, then board the Whale Boat tomorrow to search for the murderer. Ever since Nan Yan visited that teahouse, the seat she sat in has been regarded as a throne by admirers, requiring advance booking to sit in the same spot. Yuan Feng, the young master of Haixiao City, heard that the Blood-Hand Shura was astonishingly beautiful.

He couldn't help but harbor lustful thoughts, intending to catch a glimpse of her beauty. Coincidentally, he learned that the other party was also going to take the Whale Boat, and a plan formed in his mind. Soon, a giant whale thousands of feet tall surfaced from the sea. Its back was wide enough to carry over a hundred people, astonishing everyone present. The disciples of Longdu City checked the identities of those boarding the boat one by one.

If any demons attempted to sneak through, they would only end up with their souls scattered. Ji Yang completely disregarded trivial matters like concealing demonic energy. However, Yin Ya was from the demon race, and if his identity were exposed, the consequences would be unimaginable. So Nan Yan gave him a Silver Flood Dragon Bead to conceal his aura. Afterwards, Ji Yang boarded the Whale Boat as a Lunar Sect disciple without arousing suspicion from others.

Nan Yan was surprised that the Whale Boat had no demonic energy. However, due to the large number of innocent people on board, she couldn't act rashly and alert the enemy. She decided to first discuss with the captain about jointly searching for demon cultivators. However, when the captain heard Nan Yan's intention, he was very resistant, claiming that demon cultivators could never appear on the Whale Boat, and resolutely rejected Nan Yan's request.

Yin Ya complained non-stop about this, but Nan Yan saw that the captain suffered from a chronic illness, which made him irritable, prone to anger, and difficult to control. Therefore, Nan Yan planned to dispel the captain's chronic illness, hoping there might be a chance for cooperation. As soon as she finished speaking, Nan Yan and Yin Ya saw that there was a vendor nearby selling poetry collections of the young master of Longdu.

They decided to buy two copies as souvenirs. During this period, Mu Zhanting was ordered by his father to cultivate at home. Feeling that he had made progress, he wanted to leave Longdu, but was once again rejected by Mu Guanghan.

Mu Guanghan was angry that Mu Zhanting was idle all day, so he asked Yu Quan and Yu Que to prepare some things that girls liked, preparing to form a marriage alliance with Yao Palace and betroth Yun Nian to his son, thereby hoping to help his son settle down. Nan Yan purchased Myriad Wilt Grass based on the captain's serious illness.

During this time, she kept feeling that someone was secretly watching them, and this person was none other than the notoriously lustful Yuan Feng. Yin Ya, however, didn't feel anything unusual. He believed that with Nan Yan's face being one that causes trouble, coupled with her reputation as the Blood-Hand Shura, she was bound to attract a lot of attention.

Episode 18 Recap

Although the Whale Boat is called a boat, in Ji Yang's opinion, it is actually an island. Though small as a sparrow, it has all the vital organs, with every material need readily available. Ji Yang was strolling around the Whale Boat, and Nan Yan was also buying medicinal herbs alone. As a result, Yuan Feng blocked her path, not hiding his covetous intentions towards her.

He used the excuse of seeking guidance on cultivation to invite Nan Yan to a gathering. However, Yuan Feng's scheme did not succeed; instead, he was drugged and publicly ridiculed by Nan Yan. But as soon as she and Yin Ya left, Ji Yang used magic to worsen the symptoms, making Yuan Feng even more embarrassed. Nan Yan caught butterflies for a little girl, instantly attracting Ji Yang's attention. He stood nearby, staring intently at her until Nan Yan left.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Yuan Feng was angry that he had been tricked, but he was reluctant to give up Nan Yan, this earthly beauty, and was confident that he could get her. He planned to use the Illusion Demon Love Incense to achieve his goal, convinced that no matter how noble and chaste she was, as long as she smelled a little of the powder, even immortals would covet the mortal world.

Ji Yang wanted to separate Sen Luo from his body, but they had already become one. Forcibly separating them would turn himself into ashes. Sen Luo was still chattering in Ji Yang's ear, which made Ji Yang very impatient, and he directly suppressed him within his body, preventing him from coming out. Just then, the captain announced that everyone could go under the eaves to watch the beautiful scene of rain falling on the Whale Boat.

As soon as he said this, Ji Yang became interested. He stood in the crowd, and Nan Yan was also there. Both of them coincidentally opened their umbrellas. Afterwards, Nan Yan came to find the captain, used magic to hold him in place, and solved his chronic illness with the effects of Myriad Wilt Grass. As expected, the captain's attitude improved greatly.

He then felt that it should be taken seriously and decided to inform the fellow cultivators on the boat to be more cautious. But Nan Yan was worried about alerting the enemy, as once disturbed, the trouble would be significant. Therefore, Nan Yan hoped to look over the boarding manifest to check for suspicious individuals.

Although it was not in accordance with the rules, the captain still agreed to Nan Yan's request and gave her a token to retrieve it from the second floor herself. Ji Yang followed behind Nan Yan, setting up a barrier to hide his presence. After Nan Yan read the manifest, she suddenly sensed that the atmosphere around her was unusual and felt suspicious. She reached out and touched the barrier where Ji Yang was hiding.

Ji Yang also couldn't help but raise his hand, and their hands overlapped. Because of this, Nan Yan immediately remembered Ji Yang. When she asked about his identity, Ji Yang put his hand down and did not respond. Through this check of the manifest, Nan Yan noticed a Lunar Sect disciple named "Yin". She told Yin Ya about this matter, and both of them found "Yin" a bit strange and suspected someone was impersonating him.

In order to better find the demon cultivators, Yin Ya quietly sneaked into Ji Yang's room. During this time, he was almost discovered by the Longdu disciples and, in desperation, used an illusion spell. On the other hand, Nan Yan was eating in her room and found that there was something wrong with the porridge that was delivered. To draw out the person behind it, she pretended to faint.

After waiting for a while, she discovered that the person who came was actually Yin Ya. Just as Nan Yan was wondering why the person who had poisoned her hadn't appeared, Yuan Feng had been caught by Ji Yang and taught a lesson. Unexpectedly, he was actually carrying the Blood Phoenix Hairpin, which was a pleasant surprise. Ji Yang questioned Yuan Feng about where the Blood Phoenix Hairpin came from.

Under Ji Yang's threat of force, Yuan Feng had to confess that he was responsible for escorting it, and he didn't know the identities of the employer and the recipient, but if the goods were stolen, he would definitely not survive and pleaded with Ji Yang to take him in. Yuan Feng saw that Ji Yang had become interested in Nan Yan and said he would help him win Nan Yan over.

The next day, Yuan Feng went to apologize to Nan Yan, admitting that he had been momentarily blinded by greed last night and almost offended her. Nan Yan naturally did not believe Yuan Feng's words, and Yuan Feng said that he had accidentally ingested the Illusion Demon Love Incense and was confined to his room all night, begging Nan Yan to spare him and mentioning that his young master had invited him to a banquet tomorrow.

Originally, Nan Yan was going to refuse directly, but Yuan Feng left the invitation and slipped away. When Nan Yan opened the invitation, she was surprised that the handwriting seemed to be Ji Yang's. She suppressed her doubts and decided to go to the appointment. When Nan Yan arrived at the agreed location, she asked the person behind the scenes to show themselves. Ji Yang revealed his true face, which shocked Nan Yan immensely.

Episode 19 Recap

Seeing this familiar face in front of her, she fell to the ground in shock. But when Ji Yang stepped forward to help her up, she fainted on the spot. After Nan Yan woke up, she found herself in a room, with Yin Ya by her side taking care of her. She was puzzled as to why she had seen Ji Yang. Yin Ya noticed Nan Yan's strange expression and mistakenly thought she was feeling unwell.

He felt that ever since she got on the boat, she had been solely focused on eliminating demons, not eating or sleeping, and her body couldn't take it anymore. Nan Yan admitted that she was indeed a bit anxious, but after Yin Ya went out, she thought about what had happened that day. On the other hand, Ji Yang was also reminiscing about meeting Nan Yan today.

Sen Luo could sense the joy in his heart and reminded him that his great undertaking was not yet complete and he absolutely must not indulge in romantic feelings. However, Ji Yang completely refused to admit that he had feelings for Nan Yan. Sen Luo told him to stop deceiving himself. As a result, Ji Yang was angered when Sen Luo hit a nerve.

Sen Luo continued to instigate, suggesting that perhaps Nan Yan wasn't intentionally luring him closer to seize the opportunity to eliminate him. Afterwards, Ji Yang sat nearby observing Nan Yan. When he saw her searching everywhere for him, he appeared before her again. Nan Yan wept tears of joy, asking him why he hadn't come to find her, but she didn't expect that he had actually lost his memory.

When Ji Yang heard the name Nan Yan, he immediately thought of Meng Zhiguang's dying words, and only then did he realize that she was the person he needed to protect. A strange feeling arose in his heart. Despite Nan Yan's repeated attempts to probe, Ji Yang still showed no sign of recognition and was carrying demonic energy. Ji Yang told Nan Yan that he had no memory after waking up, only an inexplicable sense of familiarity towards Nan Ya.

Nan Yan felt sad upon hearing this. Seeing her reaction, Ji Yang said that even without memories, he would never forget Nan Yan's name in the future. Mu Zhanting insisted on going out, so Mu Guanghan couldn't control him. He then stated that he planned to find him a Dao companion to keep his temper in check, and since they had already arrived at Longdu, the two would meet soon.

In addition, Mu Guanghan emphasized that even if Mu Zhanting didn't like this Dao companion, he would still spend a great sum of money to find willing women. Mu Zhanting was quite surprised upon hearing this. Around midnight, Mu Zhanting secretly snuck out. He heard there was a poetry contest in the tavern, and it was even the 'Cicada Dew Lament', Nan Yan's favorite. So, full of confidence, he went on stage to participate.

However, as soon as Mu Zhanting opened his mouth, he made everyone burst into laughter. But the host loved it very much and declared her the champion on the spot. Just then, a pale-faced young master, unconvinced, went on stage and accused Mu Zhanting's 'sour' poetry of being unsuitable for the stage, and even challenged him to a contest. Perhaps in the end, the pale-faced young master was so angered by Mu Zhanting's bizarre lines that he became incoherent.

Mu Zhanting leaned forward to argue and unexpectedly discovered that the other party was a woman disguised as a man. The pale-faced young master warned Mu Zhanting not to tell anyone and left in a huff. Mu Zhanting got the Cicada Dew Lament. Thinking of his friends scattered far away, his mood became very bad, and he gave the wine back.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Ji Yang accompanied Nan Yan, watching the distant scenery and asking her about her past with the previous Ji Yang. Nan Yan said that she and Ji Yang had shared life and death, going through hardships together, and that he was the person she would never betray in this life. Unfortunately, they were separated by death three years ago. Seeing Nan Yan looking sad, Ji Yang also felt bad.

After dark, Ji Yang and Nan Yan released sky lanterns together. Coincidentally, Yin Ya came over from a distance. Nan Yan didn't want Yin Ya to know about the Yin Curse inside Ji Yang, so she excused herself first and left with Yin Ya. Ji Yang heard Nan Yan calling the other person 'Little Fox' and couldn't help but feel jealous. He followed behind alone, secretly playing tricks on Yin Ya to make him look foolish.

Although Nan Yan's attempt to awaken his memory failed, she had accepted the current Ji Yang. Regardless of whether he remembered her or not, as long as he was alive, it was a great fortune. Nan Yan asked Ji Yang about the destruction of the Lunar Sect. Ji Yang told her truthfully and pleaded with her to help him suppress the demonic influence. Nan Yan readily agreed, but during the process of casting the spell, they encountered an obstacle. Demonic energy permeated Ji Yang's body, and he attacked Nan Yan as if he were a stranger.

Episode 20 Recap

Ji Yang's body was surrounded by demonic energy. What was hidden inside his body was not ordinary demonic energy and could not be eliminated at all. Immediately after, Sen Luo broke through Ji Yang's restriction and fought with Nan Yan. When he discovered that Nan Yan was actually the Seven Sins Manual, new and old grudges instantly surged into his heart. Because his residual soul power was no match for Nan Yan, he was almost wiped out.

But Nan Yan realized that Ji Yang and Sen Luo were one entity and had to show mercy, ultimately being severely injured by Sen Luo. Fortunately, Ji Yang sobered up at this moment and forcibly summoned Sen Luo back into his body. He felt guilty because Nan Yan was injured. Ji Yang emphasized again that he was not the person she knew.

But Nan Yan told Ji Yang that if one day he lost his heart, she would still be willing to turn into a small boat on the river, even if she had to enter purgatory, and risk her life to carry him to the other shore. In order to find a way to apologize, Ji Yang bought storybooks and imitated them. First, he picked flowers to visit Nan Yan and tried to persuade her to stay by his side.

Then, he spent a large sum of money buying gifts and jewelry for her. Watching Ji Yang spend money so extravagantly, Nan Yan smiled bitterly in her heart. Indeed, even though Ji Yang had lost his memory, he still didn't know how to live properly, just like before. However, Nan Yan didn't show a very happy expression, which made Ji Yang mistakenly think she was being reserved like in the storybooks.

Nan Yan later realized that Ji Yang was trying to coax her. Seeing Ji Yang crouching down to prepare strengthening and invigorating herbal soup for her, Nan Yan felt a warmth in her heart. Although the dosage wasn't very accurate, it was at least a token of his sincerity. When Ji Yang heard that Nan Yan had treated the heart illness of the previous him, he worried that there was only so-called gratitude between them.

But Nan Yan said there was more than just gratitude; they cared for each other's well-being, worried about each other's safety, just like they were now, except they didn't cherish it properly back then. After hearing Nan Yan's words, Ji Yang couldn't hide his joy. He pretended to be calm and said that even if he wasn't Ji Yang, he would never cause Nan Yan any more trouble. That night, Mu Zhanting returned home completely drunk.

Suddenly, he was inspired to write poetry and was about to write a few poems. He turned around and saw Mu Guanghan, which scared him sober instantly. Mu Guanghan lectured Mu Zhanting thoroughly and said that Yun Nian had already arrived in Longdu. As it turned out, Mu Zhanting discovered that the so-called fiancée was the person who had previously disguised herself as a man. Ji Yang was sitting in a pavilion drinking.

Yuan Feng looked at his beaming face, guessing that he had won the heart of a beauty, and offered him advice on how to express gratitude to a girl. Yuan Feng revealed a legend about the whale boat. It is said that at the hour of Chou (1-3 am) today, the whale boat will reach a certain sea area.

Under this area lives a spirit fish called "Fu Xing Lian", whose scales fall off only once a year and are regarded as talismans against illness and misfortune. Although Ji Yang said he didn't believe it, he was actually tempted. So he squeezed onto the deck with a crowd of women and finally obtained the scales he wanted. Seeing this situation, Sen Luo angrily accused Ji Yang of protecting the "Blood Hand Asura" so much.

Ji Yang warned him not to meddle. Early the next morning, Ji Yang personally gave the scales to Nan Yan, making Nan Yan very happy. Nan Yan specifically reminded Ji Yang that she had bought a dose of "Zhu Xin Sha" at the pharmacy yesterday and planned to have him take it before he suppresses the demonic influence. If anyone asked about it, they should give a different explanation and absolutely not expose his demonic energy.

Ji Yang guessed that he must have been a cautious person in the past, but he felt a bit jealous and unwilling to comply. Nan Yan was helpless because of this. Not long after Ji Yang left, Yin Ya came to find Nan Yan on his own initiative and immediately saw the scales of the Fu Xing Lian. To avoid exposing Ji Yang, Nan Yan made up an excuse to brush it off.

However, as soon as Yin Ya went out, he saw Ji Yang and Yuan Feng and was greatly shocked. Because of this, Yin Ya disguised himself as Ji Yang to probe Yuan Feng, and unexpectedly learned many things, including that the "Blood Phoenix Hairpin" had fallen into Ji Yang's hands. It was also because of this that Yin Ya followed Ji Yang into the captain's office, only to find that the captain was severely injured and dead.

Yin Ya hurriedly went back to question Nan Yan and told her about the Blood Phoenix Hairpin and the captain's death. However, Nan Yan completely disbelieved that Ji Yang had killed the captain and instructed Yin Ya to keep the secret at all costs.

Episode 21 Recap

Just as Nan Yan was telling Yin Ya to trust Ji Yang, guards suddenly came in from outside. Since the captain had died from poison, everyone suspected Nan Yan was the murderer. Originally, Yin Ya wanted to point the clue towards demonic energy, but Nan Yan immediately interrupted Yin Ya, clearing Ji Yang of suspicion, but bringing trouble upon herself.

The guards questioned her about treating the captain and selling a special medicine, claiming this medicine was the physical evidence that killed the captain. After Nan Yan was arrested, Yin Ya angrily ran to confront Ji Yang, calling him by name repeatedly which thoroughly angered the other party. But when Yin Ya mentioned that Nan Yan was suffering because of him, Ji Yang immediately let Yin Ya go.

Hearing that Yin Ya was going to announce his demonization to the public, he reminded him that once he said it out loud, Nan Yan might be in greater danger for shielding him. At this moment, Nan Yan was still being questioned by the guards. Nan Yan stated that the withered grass had already been given to the captain, but the coroner identified that the captain died from the poison of Zhu Xin Sha.

For this reason, the guards locked Nan Yan in the heavenly prison, convinced she was the murderer. Just as they were about to lay hands on her, Ji Yang suddenly appeared, injured the guards, and rescued Nan Yan. Yun Nian asked Mu Zhanting about Nan Fangzhu's previous residence. Mu Zhanting, feeling guilty, had no choice but to tell her the truth, and he begged her not to tell Mu Zhanting about the poetry gathering last time.

Although Yun Nian didn't agree immediately, she had an idea in her heart. She deliberately made things difficult for Mu Zhanting to make him retreat from the difficulty and voluntarily break off the engagement. Afterwards, Ji Yang took Nan Yan to hide in a barrier.

He found Yin Ya searching for Nan Yan outside, and Yin Ya loudly called out that Nan Yan should open her eyes and see clearly that the person beside her was not Ji Yang at all, but possibly a demon cultivator who had taken on his form. Nan Yan firmly believed in Ji Yang's identity and would not let others know about his demonization. Instead, she reminded him not to act so recklessly in the future.

Since the most important task at hand was to investigate the cause of the captain's death, Ji Yang told Nan Yan that the captain had met with him before. But when he went to the captain's office, he found the captain had already died violently. Nan Yan suddenly thought that someone might grind Zhu Xin Sha into a hairpin, which meant the murderer was very likely a woman.

On the other side, Mu Guanghan asked his son how he was getting along with Yun Nian. Mu Zhanting could only answer with a straight face, but to escape the marriage, he lied that he wanted to establish his career before settling down and achieve great things. Hearing his son say this, Mu Guanghan was greatly relieved and immediately decided to hand over the management of the whale boat to Mu Zhanting.

Ji Yang and Nan Yan investigated around the whale boat, replaying the truth. They discovered that the captain knew Nan Yan was investigating the Yin, Ji Yang and Nan Yan set a trap, allowing Yuan Feng to steal items and place them at the scene. Yuan Feng brought the real culprit, Zhao Meiji. As expected, seeing she couldn't deny it, Zhao Meiji wanted to perish with everyone. Fortunately, Nan Yan and the others were prepared early.

Mu Zhanting appeared in time to take over the management of the whale boat, saving it from sinking into the sea. When Mu Zhanting saw Nan Yan and Yin Ya again, he was very happy. But when he saw the living Ji Yang, he was instantly surprised and delighted, and rushed forward to hug Ji Yang. However, Ji Yang found Mu Zhanting's behavior strange and didn't bother to respond, instead walking to Nan Yan's side.

Afterwards, the four of them discussed how to deal with Zhao Meiji. Since Zhao Meiji was instructed by Tian Xie Dao, it was once again related to demon cultivators. Mu Zhanting discovered that Ji Yang had lost his past memories, so he kept talking about Ji Yang in his ear, which made Ji Yang very impatient. He repeatedly emphasized that he was not Ji Yang at all.

Mu Zhanting learned about Meng Zhiguang's death, and immediately felt inspired, writing a decent short poem to commemorate his former master. Since Yin Ya had a heavy heart and was downcast, Mu Zhanting comforted him in his own way. In contrast, Ji Yang and Nan Yan asked Yuan Feng about their transaction plan. Yuan Feng confessed everything, and Ji Yang gave Yuan Feng a sum of money, saying he would release the news that Yuan Feng was dead and told him to go to Yangyue Town to live anonymously and start a new life.

Episode 22 Recap

The whale boat was about to dock and reach its destination, and everyone was overjoyed, which left Ji Yang perplexed. Nan Yan stated directly that there was a reason for the joy: travelers returning home, reunion after separation, the waiting of those expected—all these things were fortunate events in the world. But Ji Yang felt it wasn't completely joyous, so he took her to stroll through the market. There, they saw someone selling blood centipedes.

This scene made Nan Yan recall past events. Ji Yang saw that Nan Yan seemed interested in the blood centipedes, so he personally bought them and gave them to her. Afterwards, Ji Yang bought a pair of acacia bracelets and put them on Nan Yan, saying that he knew the blood centipedes were related to "Ji Yang," but he could never be "Ji Yang.

" So, he decided to give Nan Yan a gift in his own way, promising that from now on he would make up for the things Ji Yang hadn't done and the regrets he had. Hearing this, Nan Yan was moved to tears and tightly embraced Ji Yang. After the whale boat docked, Ji Yang prepared to meet with Yuan Feng's contact.

Nan Yan, Yin Ya, and Mu Zhanting were on the side providing support, planning to capture the person who would take the hairpin in one go. Coincidentally, at this moment, people from Dao Sheng Tian appeared at the same inn. Nan Yan was a little worried and instructed Yin Ya and Mu Zhanting to guard outside while she went in first to inquire about the situation. Yin Ya was not at ease about Nan Yan and quietly followed behind her.

Nan Yan revealed her identity to Zhu Sui and others. Mo Xingzheng frankly stated that they had led their team here to reinforce the demon-sealing formation. Unexpectedly, the innkeeper turned out to be Yin Ya in disguise. The two sides started fighting, and Ji Yang appeared in time to stop them. Zhu Sui was greatly shocked to see Ji Yang still alive, mistakenly believing that Ji Yang's death years ago was a play they had staged together.

Evidently, Ji Yang had long forgotten about Dao Sheng Tian. Mo Xingzheng was very disappointed to see Ji Yang's demonized appearance, while Zhu Sui relentlessly pursued him until Mu Zhanting appeared and produced the Dragon Capital token, forcing them to temporarily stop. Nan Yan and the others returned to the inn and found that the fake Blood Phoenix Hairpin was gone.

They guessed that the person who came to take the hairpin had taken the opportunity to steal it, meaning their plan had been exposed. But the real Blood Phoenix Hairpin was still in their hands, so these people would come sooner or later. They just needed to wait patiently like waiting by the stump for a rabbit. Ji Yang privately sought out Mo Xingzheng to ask about his amnesia. Mo Xingzheng told him everything truthfully.

Yin Ya wanted to stop Dao Sheng Tian from reinforcing the demon-sealing formation, and Mu Zhanting voluntarily accompanied him. As for Ji Yang and Nan Yan, they went to the Nether Prison to search for the murderer of Meng Zhiguang. The four of them parted ways here. Since Ji Yang considered the opponent's strength to be too powerful and Nan Yan might be harmed, he planned to first take control of the Nether Prison.

This way, he could prevent the opponent from gathering the power of Yin Zhu. The two came to the location of the Nether Prison and successfully took the second prison. Suddenly, they heard someone shouting for help, so they rescued a woman from a tree. Ji Yang confirmed that the woman was unharmed and turned to break the formation. However, the secret seal on the formation was difficult to break.

Just at this moment, the leader of Chidi Village, Huo Wuji, rushed over with his men. He misunderstood that Nan Yan and Ji Yang had not only trespassed into the formation but also injured someone. Just as he was about to act, the unconscious woman, Huixiang, suddenly woke up and actively explained the whole story to Huo Wuji. It turned out that Huixiang wanted to come and take a look before the sacrifice tomorrow to satisfy her curiosity.

As a result, she accidentally entered the formation and was rescued by Nan Yan and Ji Yang. Huo Wuji blamed Huixiang for being reckless and impulsive, and decided to let Nan Yan and Ji Yang go. The two of them disguised themselves as lovers who had eloped and begged Huo Wuji to take them in. Finally, Huo Wuji checked if Ji Yang had spiritual power. Coupled with Huixiang's persuasion, he agreed to let them stay.

Subsequently, Huo Wuji led his men into Chidi Village and arranged accommodation for them. Huixiang's younger brother Bajiao was shoved and bullied by other children and almost fell. Nan Yan used her magic to protect Bajiao, making Huixiang very grateful. Meanwhile, Ji Yang inquired about the formation from Huo Wuji and unexpectedly learned that blood thorns had inexplicably appeared in Chiyu, causing great harm. Chidi Village had used the strength of their entire clan to set up a formation with secret techniques, instructing everyone not to go near the blood thorns.

Episode 23 Recap

嵇炀 guessed that the villagers knew little about the Nether Prison, and the sacrifice might hold another secret. They planned to wait until the formation was activated tomorrow before deciding on a countermeasure. That evening, the two attended the Jiluo Festival and released lanterns together. Ji Yang asked Nan Yan what wish she had made. Nan Yan said she wished that all sentient beings could enjoy this scene year after year.

Hearing this, Ji Yang was a little surprised, unexpectedly she hadn't made a wish for herself. Nan Yan told Ji Yang that if everything was over someday, she hoped he could return to Choushan Fanhai with her. But Ji Yang felt that Choushan Fanhai was too quiet. He was a mortal person and only wanted to experience all the mortal affairs in the world with A Yan.

Ji Yang pulled Nan Yan into his arms, wanting her to forget about all beings for now and just talk about themselves. And the wish he had just made was for all of Nan Yan's wishes to come true. Hearing this, Nan Yan smiled sweetly. In contrast, Yin Ya and Mu Zhanting entered the demon-sealing battle. Without paying attention for a moment, they inhaled a large amount of mirage mist and immediately fainted.

Yin Ya saw the scene of his clan being captured and was deeply immersed in pain. Fortunately, Master Chiku had planted a strand of divine consciousness in him for protection, so Yin Ya quickly woke up, dispelled the mirage mist, and woke up Mu Zhanting, who was immersed in a beautiful dream of becoming a poet. After calming down, Yin Ya told Mu Zhanting the story of Qingqiu, missing his gentle and beautiful older sister.

Back then, he was ignorant and always thought about traveling outside. If he had known that the fox clan would end up like this today, he would not have been so willful and reckless. Mu Zhanting still wanted to get the mirage mist back and take a few more breaths, but Yin Ya told him that one day in the illusion was equivalent to decades in the mortal world, and many people unknowingly became withered bones like that.

Huixiang greatly envied Nan Yan and Ji Yang's relationship, hoping that she could marry a beloved like Ji Yang, just like Nan Yan. Ji Yang teased Huixiang, saying she could learn from Nan Yan. Unexpectedly, Huixiang looked disappointed and said she probably wouldn't have this chance, because she had just made a wish to become the bride for tomorrow's sacrifice, offering herself to the Evil Lord, which greatly surprised Nan Yan and Ji Yang.

Afterwards, Yin Ya and Mu Zhanting found the real demon-sealing formation and heard that the guardian of the formation was a zither player, and only by playing "Jingye Yao" could the formation be broken. However, Jingye Yao could only be played on the Bingjiu Zither, but the real Bingjiu Zither had long been destroyed.

Mu Zhanting inquired extensively and learned that the best replica was on the whale boat, so he decisively snatched it and tried hard to play it to draw out the formation guardian. On the other side, Huixiang brought Nan Yan and Ji Yang to the Evil Lord's temple and told them that a hundred years ago, the Evil Lord suddenly descended.

Blood thorns extended from his mansion, covering the sky and earth, and almost took the lives of everyone in the village. The ancestors tried every possible method and finally selected a bride to send into the mansion. As expected, the blood thorns stopped spreading.

Since then, the woman who marries the Evil Lord each year has been revered as the Honored Queen, a lantern position is set up for her, and she is highly respected by the entire village, with her family also receiving various preferential treatments. Huixiang decided to become the Evil Lord's bride so that her younger brother Bajiao could have a good life. However, the bride needed to pass multiple assessments, and she currently didn't feel confident enough.

Nan Yan listened and felt sorry for Huixiang for going through so much. She wanted to take this opportunity to become the Honored Queen, be the first to enter the second prison, and also save little Huixiang. Subsequently, the two found Huo Wuji and frankly proposed to become the Honored Queen. At first, Huo Wuji didn't agree, but Ji Yang threatened him with force.

Huo Wuji was naturally no match for him and finally had to grudgingly agree that if Nan Yan could win the championship in today's competition, she could participate in the selection for the Honored Queen. Yin Ya played for a long time without any response. Just as Mu Zhanting thought it was useless, a man who looked young but had white hair suddenly walked out. The man refused Yin Ya's request to open the formation and rescue his clan members.

Thus, Yin Ya and Mu Zhanting teamed up and fought with the man. To their surprise, the man was stunned when he saw the Silver Flood Dragon Bead and angrily questioned why he had this bead. Nan Yan entered the circle to participate in grabbing the embroidered ball. As more and more people were eliminated, she won the championship with Ji Yang's help. Huixiang was unhappy to learn that Nan Yan was also participating in the selection.

She believed that Nan Yan deliberately wanted to steal her bride's identity and declared that she would compete with her and show no mercy at all. It turned out that the formation guardian was Nan Yi, the younger brother of Mistress Nan Fang Nan Rao. Mu Zhanting was overjoyed and immediately called him uncle, thinking that with this relationship, they could smoothly enter the formation, but Nan Yi still refused to let them pass.

Nan Yi insisted that the reappearance of the demon race in the world would cause new turmoil, and Dao Sheng Tian naturally had to consider the overall situation. Yin Ya angrily questioned what would happen to his most beloved and closest family members, who had done nothing wrong and were innocent, simply because they were part of the demon race and were to be slaughtered by the righteous path.

In fact, Yin Ya already knew why Nan Yi had become the formation guardian. Because he was once the Young Master of Yaogong, but for the sake of love for a Merman, he committed the bloody massacre of Linglongjing City and was later exiled here. Yin Ya hit Nan Yi's sore spot, and Nan Yi angrily told Yin Ya to shut up. Mu Zhanting quickly stopped Yin Ya and prevented him from saying more.

The next day, Nan Yan dressed up elaborately, transforming into a beautiful bride. Immediately afterwards, Nan Yan followed Ji Yang to the selection site. Huixiang's attitude towards her was extremely cold, as if she already regarded her as an enemy. Huo Wuji stepped onto the stage to announce the old rule for the selection: each person takes a red candle and enters the Turbulent Wind Cave. If someone walks out of the cave with the candle flame still burning, they can become this year's Honored Queen.

Episode 24 Recap

Huo Wuji knew well that once today's sacrifice begins, demonic cultivators will definitely not give up. Since Nan Yan insists on participating in the Honored Queen selection, he might as well go along with the plan and add Shuliu Grass to Nan Yan's candle flame, which can keep the flame from extinguishing. Ji Yang saw that Huo Wuji cared deeply for his tribesmen, but his scheme was also seen through.

He directly stated that after today, there would be no Evil Lord in the cave. As soon as he finished speaking, everyone saw Asu come out holding a candle, while Nan Yan followed closely behind, supporting Huixiang. It turned out that Li Jin had disguised herself as Asu to enter the cave, immediately attacked Nan Yan, and threatened her with Huixiang to force Nan Yan to hand over the candle.

Nan Yan had no intention of becoming the Honored Queen, so she simply handed the candle to the other party. In contrast, Nan Yi was in love with a Merman and preparing for their wedding, but unexpectedly, the Merman was captured and locked in a cage. Everyone rushed to watch, intending to take her Silver Flood Dragon Bead. Nan Yi was still unaware of this and felt that extracting the Silver Flood Dragon Bead while alive was too cruel.

So he personally killed the Merman to spare her pain, only to realize it was the person he loved. This caused him immense grief, and he slaughtered the entire city. It was precisely because of this that Nan Yi ended up in his current state. He believed that Yin Ya and Mu Zhanting wanting to privately release the demon race was also a serious crime, and questioned if they had considered the consequences.

Yin Ya believed that Nan Yi was not someone who couldn't distinguish right from wrong, and that there must have been a reason behind the Linglongjing City incident. He felt the same way about saving his own clan members, unable to stand by and watch his closest relatives suffer, willing to sacrifice everything, even his life.

Because of Mu Zhanting and Yin Ya's persistence, Nan Yi was moved by them and agreed to give them the time it takes for an incense stick to burn to break through the formation. The guards asked for the password, and saying it wrong would lead to being killed. Mu Zhanting took Yin Ya and performed some demon-exorcising and evil-warding actions, hoping to bluff their way through.

When the guards realized and were about to chase Yin Ya, Mu Zhanting quickly blocked the guards, creating an opportunity for Yin Ya. On the other side, Huo Wuji opened the formation to let Asu in. Unexpectedly, Asu directly called Li Chi. Huo Wuji tried to stop him but failed and was injured by Li Chi.

At the critical moment, Nan Yan and Ji Yang appeared in time, informing Li Chi that the Blood Phoenix Hairpin in his hand was fake and reminding them not to waste any more effort. Li Chi became enraged and started fighting on the spot. Ji Yang told Huo Wuji to take everyone away first. During the fight, Ji Yang pierced Li Chi's palm with his sword. Unexpectedly, instead of dodging, Li Chi chanted incantations.

Taking advantage of Ji Yang's inattentiveness, he used a soul-swapping evil technique, resulting in the two swapping souls. Nan Yan recognized the evil technique at a glance. Li Chi was unable to control Ji Yang's body, but Senluo began to completely take over Ji Yang's body. With Nan Yan's help, Ji Yang re-casted the soul-swapping technique and returned to his body. He questioned Li Chi about the identity of the person behind him.

Li Chi remained silent, while Li Jin desperately begged Nan Yan and the others for mercy. Unexpectedly, Li Chi refused to confess even unto death and committed suicide in front of everyone. It was precisely because of this that Li Jin tearfully explained that her brother was once a good person, but to protect her, he chose to become a demon and killed the Heavenly Evil Dao Sect Master to replace him.

Because he later practiced the soul-swapping technique, he was sometimes clear-headed and sometimes in a demonic frenzy. Li Jin knelt on the ground, willing to bear all the karma and sins for her brother. Nan Yan suppressed the killing intent in her heart and angrily told Li Jin to get lost. Afterwards, Ji Yang comforted Nan Yan and helped her calm down. After they left, they told everyone the truth about the Evil Lord.

Because of the evil object, the Blood Thistle's bloodthirsty nature greatly increased, and the women they offered each year were merely a temporary solution like drinking poison to quench thirst. Nan Yan and Ji Yang assured everyone that they had completely resolved the Blood Thistle disaster and also hoped that Huo Wuji could take good care of Huixiang and her younger brother.

Huo Wuji and the villagers readily agreed, stating that as long as they had food to eat in the future, they would absolutely never let Huixiang and Bajiao go hungry or cold. Immediately afterwards, Nan Yan and Ji Yang left the village, and the two worked together to recover the Nether Prison.

Episode 25 Recap

Ji Yang was absorbing Yin Zhu when suddenly a man in black robes appeared. Nan Yan fought intensely with the opponent to protect Ji Yang and was ultimately severely injured by him. Seeing this, Ji Yang erupted with the power of Senluo to save Nan Yan, causing himself to gradually lose his mind and forcing him to remain on the spot to reclaim the Nether Prison.

Just as the man in black robes was preparing to kill Nan Yan, he was unexpectedly blocked by the power of Chong Ming. He was curious about the identities of Nan Yan and Nan Rao, and the Blood Phoenix Hairpin caught his attention. Although Ji Yang directly repelled the man in black robes, he was controlled by Senluo and almost killed Nan Yan. Fortunately, Li Jin arrived in time with Huo Wuji to awaken Ji Yang.

Huo Wuji was severely injured and beyond help. The villagers rescued Ji Yang, Nan Yan, and Huo Wuji from the Second Prison. Nan Yan was unconscious, Ji Yang was fine, and Huo Wuji was dead. Huo Wuji left his last message, which was that the Evil Lord's power was far more terrifying than imagined.

Because his soul consciousness was difficult to control and would only be gradually eroded, Ji Yang could not possibly control Senluo, and he could only help up to this point. After saying this, he passed away. In contrast, Yin Ya used all his might to open the formation, not only seeing the ancestral statue but also the soul of his elder sister.

When he wanted to leave with the magic artifact containing the souls of his entire clan, he collapsed to the ground due to his severe injuries. At this moment, Mu Zhanting frantically shouted "Little Fox," worried that if the formation gate closed, he might be trapped inside forever. Fortunately, with the help of his ancestor, he grew a seventh tail, and his strength greatly increased.

Finally, Yin Ya directly used magic to force open the formation and successfully escaped with Mu Zhanting. Nan Yi was imprisoned by the people of Daosheng Tian for privately allowing Yin Ya and Mu Zhanting to enter the formation. However, the three of them were no match for Daosheng Tian. Fortunately, Xuanzai Ying Zewei appeared to uphold justice and was willing to release them. Similarly, Master Chikou rushed over, promising to properly educate the members of the Fox clan.

Yin Ya worried that other demon races would still suffer torture. Ying Zewei stated that Senluo's presence in the world was not a rumor; the Nether Prison had been unsealed. If the demon race were to emerge now, it would only fear Senluo taking advantage. Once the demonic obstacle subsided, Daosheng Tian would fulfill their promise to open the formation. After saying this, Ying Zewei left with the disciples of Daosheng Tian.

Mu Zhanting received news that Mu Guanghan was critically ill and had to return first. Due to her severe injuries, Nan Yan was still in a coma. Li Jin told Ji Yang that ordinary medicinal herbs could not heal Nan Yan. Ji Yang saw that Li Jin was hiding something, so he threatened her with Li Chi's body to tell him the method.

Li Jin had no choice but to reveal that there was indeed a formula in an ancient text, but the medicinal catalyst was hard to obtain, and the refining process was extremely damaging to the body. At midnight, which is the peak of yin, the immortal herbs gathering spiritual energy from the mountains would form dew drops.

At noon, which is the peak of yang, these dew drops, combined with the sunlight which is the peak of yang, would be used as the medicinal catalyst, supplemented by the physical body as the vessel, to concoct a dose of Heaven and Earth spiritual medicine. Despite this, Ji Yang was still not afraid of hardship and refined the spiritual medicine to give to Nan Yan.

The medicinal effect was very potent, and Nan Yan would endure the suffering of heart-corrosion. As expected, after Nan Yan took the medicine, her expression was exceptionally pained, and her body trembled. Ji Yang hugged her heartbrokenly and guiltily, thinking that if it weren't for him, Nan Yan wouldn't have suffered so much. After this incident, Ji Yang thanked Li Jin for the method she provided.

Li Jin then recounted why her brother became a demon back then, even losing his sanity due to cultivation and becoming increasingly deranged, until he killed the Heavenly Evil Dao Sect Master and replaced him. From that moment on, Li Jin understood that her brother could never turn back.

Meanwhile, Meng Ying and Fú Làng finally found the sword master Mèng Xiāolóu and truthfully informed him of the entire incident, pleading with him to accept them as disciples to learn cultivation methods and avenge Meng Zhiguang. Mèng Xiāolóu was moved and took them to a place. Master Chikou performed a spell to condense power and finally helped Yin Ya's elder sister take human form.

Episode 26 Recap

Mu Zhanting rushed back to Longdu in a frenzy. Unexpectedly, Mu Guanghan showed no sign of serious illness; instead, he struck Mu Zhanting to the ground with a palm, angered by his unannounced departure and his actions, admitting he had to use this method to trick him back. The Fox Queen looked at the grey hairs in her brother's hair, feeling heartache for him.

Yin Ya smiled back, saying he hadn't suffered much, and that he used to be ignorant but now surely looked much more mature. Seeing such a big change in Yin Ya, the Fox Queen felt greatly relieved, stating directly that they would live a peaceful life here from now on. But the next second, Yin Ya thought of Ying Zewei mentioning the forest's appearance in the world, and his expression turned solemn.

After careful consideration, he still said goodbye to his sister, saying he still had something to do and would return after finishing it. Although the Fox Queen did not want her brother to participate in the conflicts of the Four Seas, Yin Ya's mind was made up, so she could only silently accept Yin Ya's choice.

If Meng Ying and Fu Lang wanted to join the Sword Sect, they had to forget all the cultivation methods they had previously practiced; the only thing they could rely on was their sword. However, Meng Ying passed the Sword Sect assessment. Fu Lang was exposed for secretly using spiritual energy, which went against the Sword Sect's rules, and was later expelled from the sect.

Meng Ying had no choice but to settle Fu Lang at the foot of the mountain, let him rest for now, give him some instructions, and then return to the Sword Sect alone. After Nan Yan woke up, she found that Ji Yang had already left, leaving her a letter. In the letter, Ji Yang told Nan Yan that he no longer wanted to see her repeatedly fall into danger because of him.

Only when he eliminated the demonic obstacle could he return to her side and reunite. Nan Yan was unwilling to give up and searched everywhere for Ji Yang, but unfortunately, Ji Yang never showed up, which made her very sad. She steadfastly resolved to wait for his return.

Afterwards, Yin Ya personally came to find Nan Yan and told her about what he encountered in the Demon Sealing Formation, including the true identities of her uncle Nan Yi and Nan Rao. Nan Yan was extremely shocked. Because of this, Nan Yan prepared to go find her uncle Nan Yi, as only by asking him clearly could the truth be revealed. Li Jin hoped to go with her, willing to use her blood to heal her injuries.

Seeing Li Jin's sincerity, Nan Yan agreed to take her away. Just as the two left, Yin Ya saw Ji Yang quietly watching from the shadows. Ji Yang had no idea how to overcome the demonic possession, so Yin Ya took Ji Yang to find Master Chikou for help. Master Chikou led Ji Yang and Yin Ya to the murals in a cave and personally recounted the process by which the Holy Master suppressed Senluo's soul.

Therefore, Senluo was determined to lure Ji Yang into reclaiming the five prisons; each prison reclaimed would bring Senluo closer to resurrection, and the power of Yin Zhu within Ji Yang's body would gradually grow stronger. Master Chikou said that before the Holy Master passed away, he left behind fragments of a jade sword, which were refined into five Soul-Suppressing Nails that could suppress Senluo's remnant soul.

However, Ji Yang and Senluo shared the same body, and the Soul-Suppressing Nails would cause them to bear the pain together, resulting in their souls dispersing after a hundred years. Yin Ya did not want Ji Yang to disappear. Master Chikou pointed out there was another method: entering Senluo's mindscape might be able to destroy him.

However, the method of entering the mindscape was a forbidden technique of the Fox Clan, and currently, only the Fox Queen knew how to use it. Moreover, this method had a low success rate, and Ji Yang could still die. Ji Yang insisted on trying, willing to face death without regret. Precisely because of this, Yin Ya proactively sought out the Fox Queen.

Unexpectedly, the Fox Queen was unwilling to help, believing Ji Yang was no different from the demon Senluo and had already lost control; otherwise, how could he have harmed Nan Yan? Furthermore, in the Fox Queen's view, Ji Yang was being hunted by Daosheng Tian, and the Fox Clan had just been released. If they had any relation to Senluo again, they would definitely offend Daosheng Tian. She hoped he could consider the Fox Clan.

Yin Ya returned crestfallen after failing to get help. Seeing this, Ji Yang understood in his heart and did not blame Yin Ya. Instead, he asked him to take good care of the Fox Clan. To make Nan Yan give up waiting for him, Ji Yang asked Yin Ya to lie to Nan Yan, claiming that he had personally witnessed Ji Yang's death while suppressing the demon. Yin Ya struggled for a long time before agreeing.

Soon, the demon suppression began, and Ji Yang was in extreme pain. Yin Ya couldn't bear to watch and turned away, leaving.

Episode 27 Recap

During Master Chikou's process of suppressing the demon, Ji Yang was tied to a humanoid wooden stake, and Soul-Suppressing Nails were driven into Ji Yang's palms, ankles, and chest respectively. Yin Ya saw Ji Yang in extreme pain and couldn't bear to watch any longer, but Master Chikou stated that only by driving in the Soul-Suppressing Nails could the sealing effect be achieved, at which point Senluo would have no possibility of escaping.

On the other hand, Nan Yan had Li Jin, who carried demonic energy, wait outside while she personally entered the formation to search for her uncle, Nan Yi. The two were able to recognize each other. Nan Yan's heart ached for her uncle, whose eyes were blind and who had fallen to his current state. Nan Yi mocked himself, saying that having slaughtered Linglong Capital, he deserved to be executed.

If his elder sister (Nan Rao) hadn't run around mediating for him, and his friends hadn't borne the name of favoritism for him, how could he have survived in this world, banished here to atone for his sins? When Nan Rao was mentioned, Nan Yi felt sentimental, thinking his elder sister was probably still angry, but Nan Yan informed him of Nan Rao's passing, which made Nan Yi very sad.

Nan Yan said that her mother (Nan Rao) had always suffered from a heart ailment that was difficult to heal. Nan Yi didn't understand why his elder sister suffered from a heart ailment; she was originally a God Transformation stage cultivator and had the Nirvana Demonic Heart protecting her body, which was why she wasn't threatened by the thirty divine thunderbolts. Nan Yan was very shocked to hear this, unexpectedly learning that she still had demon bloodline in her body.

And those who possess the Nirvana Demonic Heart are immortal and indestructible, extending their lifespan by ten thousand years, which means she no longer had a demonic core long ago. Nan Yi asked Nan Yan to tell him everything about his elder sister's life. Combining the clues, he speculated that someone had taken the Nirvana Demonic Heart.

Nan Yan suspected that the person who previously stole the Blood Phoenix Hairpin was very suspicious, and this person was even in the God Transformation stage. As such, Nan Yi instructed Nan Yan not to act impulsively and expose herself. He also gave Nan Yan the Phoenix Tail Bell left by Nan Rao. Using the Chongming bloodline as a guide, she could find the aura of the Blood Phoenix Hairpin.

Afterwards, the Blood Phoenix Hairpin pointed towards the direction of Longdu. Nan Yan handed the Silver Dragon Pearl to Nan Yi, specifically bid him farewell, and set off. Nan Yi, meanwhile, forcibly broke open the restraints and left the formation. Ji Yang, controlled by the Soul-Suppressing Nails, repeatedly cycled between painful coma and painful consciousness, wishing he were dead. Yin Ya decided to use the technique of entering the mindscape to help Ji Yang.

Master Chikou stated frankly that he could only help Ji Yang maintain the formation; whether he could withstand this evil force would depend on Yin Ya's own cultivation. Fortunately, at the critical moment, the Fox Queen appeared in time. The siblings worked together to break the formation. Yin Ya was truly worried about Ji Yang's safety and immediately entered the formation without hesitation.

At the same time, Meng Xiaolou received news from Daosheng Tian and immediately dispatched people to search for Ji Yang. As a result, the group encountered Nan Yan and Li Jin at a teahouse. Although Li Jin was disguised, she was still recognized by a Sword Sect disciple. Meng Ying accused Li Jin of being an accomplice in the murder of Meng Zhiguang and was even more furious that Nan Yan had been protecting Li Jin.

Because of her father's death and Nan Yan's attitude, Meng Ying was incredibly sad and disappointed. Just then, the guards of Longdu appeared and directly escorted Nan Yan and Li Jin into prison. Nan Yan requested to see Young Master Mu Zhanting and asked someone to help send him a letter. Li Jin regretted implicating Nan Yan, but Nan Yan didn't care at all.

At this moment, Mu Zhanting was exchanging poetry with his fiancée; their relationship had progressed significantly, yet he accidentally injured her. Mu Zhanting received the letter sent by Nan Yan and immediately rushed to find Nan Yan. Coincidentally, when Mu Zhanting ordered someone to bring Nan Yan to see him, someone (likely his fiancée or someone from her side) became angry, believing Mu Zhanting had become neglecting his duties since associating with this group of people.

She then demanded Nan Yan not go near Mu Zhanting again, offering her a box of spiritual stones as a condition, and demanding that she and Li Jin leave Longdu. With Yin Ya's help, Ji Yang not only regained consciousness but also eliminated Senluo's soul. The two of them were, at most, only slightly injured. However, Yin Ya did not show any signs of happiness. Although unharmed, he was weak, especially after hearing what Senluo had said earlier. He asked Master Chikou to confirm if what Senluo said was true.

Episode 28 Recap

Before Senluo was destroyed, he told Ji Yang that even if he killed him, he would still witness his loved one suffer greatly. Because Nan Yan had activated the power of the Seven Sins Manual due to Senluo, she would surely die after 81 days. The only way to save her was for Ji Yang to collect the Five Prisons, and then have Nan Yan kill Ji Yang.

Only then could the Seven Sins be dispelled with the power of all Yin Zhu, exchanging one life for another. After receiving confirmation from Master Chikou, Ji Yang finally understood why Senluo reappeared and why all forms were destroyed. Yun Nian of Yao Palace suddenly came to Longdu to challenge Mu Zhanting, and easily defeated him using the Yao Palace's unique Cold Sword.

Because Mu Zhanting had to rush to see a distinguished guest, he had no time to entangle further with Yun Nian. On the other side, Nan Yi broke through the formation and went to the remaining area of Daosheng Tian, questioning Ying Zewei about his elder sister. Back then, Ying Zewei and Nan Rao were in love and had accompanied Nan Yan when she endured the divine thunder punishment.

However, Nan Rao was later ordered to go to Heshui Valley to reinforce the seal, while he was punished with confinement. After Ying Zewei came out of seclusion, he never heard from Nan Rao again, which caused him to fall into self-blame. Nan Yi believed him upon hearing this, mistakenly thinking his elder sister had an accident while reinforcing the seal.

Currently, the Cycle Prison is in the Mountains and Seas Forbidden Art, but the Mountains and Seas Forbidden Art has not been opened for many years. Ji Yang planned to go to Longdu to search for it, but was stopped by Yin Ya. Ji Yang warned Yin Ya that he must not sacrifice his life for Nan Yan's life.

However, Yin Ya was adamant about it and even threatened his own life, pleading with Ji Yang to help him one more time, stating he simply couldn't watch Nan Yan die tragically. Nan Yan snuck into the forbidden area intending to find the Blood Phoenix Hairpin, and discovered a courtyard that was remarkably similar to Nan Rao's home. At the critical moment, Mu Guanghan appeared and repelled Nan Yan.

Mu Zhanting rushed over upon hearing this and revealed that Nan Yan was Nan Rao's biological daughter. As expected, Mu Guanghan's attitude immediately changed upon hearing this; he was previously furious but now became amiable. Mu Zhanting wisely withdrew on his own. Seeing this courtyard, Nan Yan felt curious. Mu Guanghan stated that the Palace Master of Yao Palace was Nan Rao's stepmother, but the two had always been at odds.

Nan Rao couldn of bothered to argue further, so she lived in Longdu for a period until Nan Yi's incident, and she never returned again. Mu Guanghan showed great care for Nan Yan. Nan Yan took the opportunity to ask about the Blood Phoenix Hairpin and learned that the item was not with him at all, so she decided to first go and see the Chaoyu Tower where her mother used to live.

Afterwards, Mu Guanghan went alone to drink at the street and called for Meng Xiaolou to reminisce about the past together. Meng Xiaolou advised Mu Guanghan to let go of the past, but Mu Guanghan revealed to Meng Xiaolou that Nan Rao's daughter had come to Longdu and warned him to absolutely not tell the younger generation about the past events. Before Mu Guanghan could finish speaking, Meng Xiaolou had already disappeared.

Taking advantage of his father's absence, Mu Zhanting sought out Nan Yan to inquire about the situation. Nan Yan stated directly that a God Transformation stage cultivator was hidden in the Long Court. Nan Yan was originally somewhat suspicious of Mu Guanghan, but Mu Zhanting defended his father, stating that his father had sent invitations to various sects a few days ago, so there were other God Transformation stage cultivators in the Long Court.

As soon as this news was released, Nan Yan wanted to begin investigating, but Mu Zhanting quickly stopped her, planning to take her to the main hall tomorrow to observe the situation first. Nan Yan told Mu Zhanting about Ji Yang leaving without saying goodbye and also wanted to visit the place her mother had lived before, where she found many calligraphies and paintings by Nan Rao, as well as the Cicada Dew Sorrow wine she had personally brewed.

The next day, the major sects gathered at the Long Court, but only Ying Zewei did not appear. As soon as the words fell, Zhu Sui arrived representing Daosheng Tian, causing dissatisfaction among others. Nan Yan secretly scanned the crowd and found only two God Transformation cultivators: Meng Xiaolou and Mu Guanghan. Mu Guanghan proudly introduced Nan Yan's identity to everyone and then announced the re-election of the Emperor.

As the previous Emperor was Shao Cang, this Emperor selection was particularly important. Yun Nian proactively stepped forward, suggesting that the selection should not be limited to Daosheng Tian, but that each sect should compete based on their abilities. Everyone agreed upon hearing this. Mu Guanghan asked for the opinions of Zhu Sui and others and announced that the Mountains and Seas Forbidden Art would be opened three days later for the re-election of the Emperor.

Episode 29 Recap

After the conference ended, Yun Nian blocked Mu Zhanting's path. Jealous because he was with Nan Yan, she mistakenly thought they were lovers and spoke with barbed words, a barrage of sarcastic remarks. Nan Yan noticed Yun Nian's jealousy and quickly explained that she and Mu Zhanting were just sworn siblings, and moreover, she had long been in love with someone else. As expected, Yun Nian's attitude immediately changed.

Just as Yun Nian wanted to mention the matter of Palace Mistress Nan to Nan Yan, she and Mu Zhanting were called to participate in the Mountains and Seas Forbidden Art competition. Originally, Mu Zhanting had no intention of participating, but under Nan Yan's persuasion, he had to agree to go. On the other hand, Fu Lang was accepted as a disciple by Daosheng Tian.

Meng Ying took the initiative to come over and talk to him, but Fu Lang's cold attitude made her a little sad. Meng Xiaolou learned that Nan Yan was Nan Rao's daughter and personally came to greet her, asking what brought her to Longdu. Nan Yan learned that Mu Guanghan had a good relationship with her mother and specifically came to seek refuge.

During this time, she also learned that Meng Xiaolou founded a sect with demon-clearing techniques and dared to ask him for some guidance. Hearing Nan Yan say this, Meng Xiaolou no longer concealed anything.

He even gave Nan Yan the key points of the Mountain-Opening Sword Technique and recounted how he and Nan Rao studied under the former sect master of Daosheng Tian, receiving guidance on swordsmanship from him, and also told all the past events involving Mu Guanghan and Nan Rao one by one. Nan Yan confirmed that Mu Guanghan and Nan Rao had been close in the past.

Yun Nian specifically waited for Nan Yan and proposed to take a look at Nan Rao's former residence, curious about what kind of extraordinary woman the Palace Mistress Nan, whom she admired, was like. Nan Yan felt sad in her heart when she mentioned her mother, but upon learning about Ji Yang's past as Emperor, she felt a faint unease.

Thinking back on the scenes of their acquaintance with Ji Yang, and realizing that he and her mother were both stranded in the Northern Territory at the same time, and both had their hearts dug out, she thought the murderer must be the same person. In addition, Nan Yan was puzzled as to why Mu Guanghan deliberately concealed this, so she went to find Mu Zhanting that night to help with the investigation.

The two searched around during the night, and guided by the Phoenix Tail Bell, they found a secret room and saw a wedding dress embroidered with Nan Rao's name inside. Nan Yan and Mu Zhanting were puzzled and curious about the past events of Mu Guanghan and Nan Rao. Just then, Mu Guanghan came in from outside and severely disciplined Mu Zhanting with a strike.

Mu Zhanting was unconvinced and suspected that he and Nan Yan were half-siblings with the same father. Mu Guanghan felt helpless upon hearing this and admitted frankly that he and Nan Rao were betrothed by the Demon Queen's decree, but Nan Rao was always unwilling to marry. One day, she took the Phoenix Venerable's Fallen Feather for herself and told him to quickly make the "Vermilion Bird Singing Sky Skirt" and then get married.

But by the time the wedding dress was finally made, Nan Rao never appeared again. Later, Mu Guanghan learned that Nan Rao had already asked the Demon Queen to break off the engagement, and the so-called rushing to make the wedding dress was to buy time. Regarding the matter of the Blood Phoenix Hairpin, Mu Guanghan really didn't know much.

And when he saw that Nan Yan was about to leave, he directly confined Nan Yan and Mu Zhanting in the room. Mu Zhanting was experienced with being confined and had long ago made a secret passage to escape in the room. He told Nan Yan to leave first, while he stayed behind to deal with the guards.

After escaping from the Long family, Nan Yan couldn't wait to find Meng Xiaolou and revealed to him that her mother had been murdered. Meng Xiaolou's expression changed drastically upon hearing this, and he promised to definitely help Nan Yan find the truth and comfort Nan Rao's soul in heaven. Through what Meng Xiaolou said, Nan Yan speculated that the Mountains and Seas Forbidden Art competition might be the breakthrough.

Afterwards, Nan Yan came to the street and found that there were people searching everywhere, so she had to flash away and hide. Ji Yang was unhappy that Nan Yan was treated like this, so he personally taught these people a lesson. Immediately after, Nan Yan came before Ji Yang and angrily questioned him about why he was hiding from her. In a fit of anger, she attacked, but Ji Yang didn't dodge at all.

Because of this, Nan Yan couldn't bear it and withdrew her hand, hating him for acting on his own, completely disappointed, and thus parting ways. As soon as Nan Yan left, Yin Ya immediately appeared, hoping that he could have a good talk with Nan Yan and not let her be sad anymore. That night, Ji Yang drank alone to drown his sorrows. Similarly, Nan Yan also wanted to use wine to ease her pain.

The two were separated in different places, thinking of each other. Mu Guanghan was angry at Mu Zhanting because Nan Yan had disappeared. Just as he was disciplining his disappointing son, Yun Nian hurried over to help Mu Zhanting out of trouble and took him to see Nan Yan. To his surprise, Nan Yan had decided to participate in the Mountains and Seas Forbidden Art competition to find the Reverse Deduction Marrow Mirror.

Episode 30 Recap

Although Mu Zhanting stated his support for Nan Yan, he had no way of obtaining the access jade token. Instead, Yun Qin suddenly appeared, saying he still had a plan. Afterwards, Yun Qin took Mu Zhanting to the teahouse distributing the jade tokens. He disdained using schemes and tricks, and instead demanded the jade token publicly, resulting in being waved away by the other party. Even his own jade token was lost.

Mu Zhanting watched this scene gleefully and had to personally take action, using a small trick to cause the people at the next table to have diarrhea, and while they were unprepared, stole someone else's jade token. Similarly, Yin Ya transformed into someone else's appearance and successfully acquired two access jade tokens, keeping one for himself and giving one to Ji Yang. On the day of the assembly, everyone gathered in Longdu.

Mu Guanghan and Meng Xiaolou jointly opened the seal of the Mountain Sea Forbidden Decree. Everyone entered the Mountain Sea Forbidden Decree and was scattered to various places. For Nan Yan, Ji Yang still risked entering despite being pursued, and his figure was seen by both Meng Xiaolou and Mu Guanghan.

Nan Yan entered the Mountain Sea Forbidden Decree and was teleported to a remote area in the eastern part of the Nine Tribulation Sea, trying to find a way to the direction of the Mountain Sea Grand Hall. Nan Yan heard a voice calling "Ji Yang" and followed the sound, only to find it wasn't Ji Yang, but an unfamiliar young boy.

The spirits and monsters entering the Mountain Sea Forbidden Decree would use the most longed-for voice in people's hearts to tempt them, causing candidates to fall into traps. Nan Yan was immobilized by the young boy's spell. Since the Mountain Sea Forbidden Decree is an extremely cold place, Nan Yan consumed a lot of spiritual energy just to resist the cold. If this continued, she probably wouldn't be able to last much longer.

At the same time, Ji Yang threatened the Earth Spirit to search for Nan Yan, a descendant of Chongming. After finding her, the Earth Spirit was to recognize her as its master and protect her all the way to safety. At this moment, Nan Yan was teaching a lesson to the spirits and monsters that had confused her, while the Earth Spirit hurried over, saying he was sent by Ji Yang.

He suggested that Nan Yan release her bloodline power to make the spirits and monsters of the Four Seas avoid her and not dare to provoke her. After Nan Yan did so, Ji Yang rescued Yin Ya and said he wanted to find the Spirit Energy Pearl to give to Nan Yan, helping her become the Emperor.

Because Nan Yan possesses the Chongming bloodline, the spirits and monsters were willing to regard her as one of their own, promising to allocate her a territory within the secret realm so that she could settle down and multiply. Nan Yan felt a little embarrassed upon hearing this, then sought the spirits' help to guide her.

The spirits were very friendly to Nan Yan, telling her that the Master of the Nine Tribulation Sea is divided into four regions: East, West, South, and North, and there are a total of four Spirit Energy Pearls. If she wanted to ascend the Ten Karma Mountain, she had to acquire at least half of the Mountain Sea spiritual energy. Nan Yan stated directly that she wanted to enter the Mountain Sea Grand Hall.

To her surprise, the spirit turned out to be the Master of the Eastern Region's Tribulation Sea, and he gave her the Spirit Energy Pearl, which delighted her greatly. Because of this, Nan Yan took Li Jin and the Earth Spirit to the warm Southern Region.

Just as she was preparing to take the Spirit Energy Pearl of the Southern Region, she was suddenly stopped by Zhu Sui and Fu Lang, who warned Nan Yan to hand over the Spirit Energy Pearl. Mu Guanghan watched the entire process from outside, worrying that Ji Yang would attack everyone, and decided to forcibly close the Mountain Sea Forbidden Decree to rescue everyone.

On the other side, both Zhu Sui and Fu Lang wanted the Spirit Energy Pearl, leading to internal conflict. Yun Qin appeared and mocked them. Mu Zhanting, Meng Ying, and others also rushed over. Meng Ying hated Nan Yan for betraying her sect and wanted to kill her herself, but was stopped by Ji Yang.

Because of Ji Yang's appearance, everyone formed a unified front to attack him, but Yun Nian chose to stand by Mu Zhanting and Nan Yan without hesitation. Finally, the barrier was broken by Meng Xiaolou and Mu Guanghan. Since the Yanlun Marrow Mirror had not yet been acquired, Ji Yang immediately took action to support the barrier, but was severely injured by the backlash of the Mountain Sea spiritual energy.

Seeing this, Mu Zhanting told Nan Yan to take Ji Yang away first, while they stayed behind to cover their retreat. Nan Yan took Ji Yang away to heal him. Ji Yang woke up and feigned weakness, leaning on Nan Yan's leg to gain her sympathy. It was precisely because of this that Nan Yan accidentally discovered the Demon Suppressing Nail in Ji Yang's body, feeling very distressed for him. The two reconciled.

When asked if he had ever lost his vital internal elixir, Ji Yang had no memory of it. Mu Zhanting, Yin Ya, and Yun Nian escaped and made a fire behind the mountain to keep warm, the scene was extremely comical. Nan Yan told Ji Yang about her mother's matter, including her suspicion about the killer. Ji Yang comforted Nan Yan, telling her not to worry, and that he would definitely help her find the killer. Ji Yang gave Nan Yan the collected Spirit Energy Pearls and promised Nan Yan that he would never leave her again from then on.

Episode 31 Recap

Seeing the barrier was about to close, Mu Guanghan decided to forcibly lower his cultivation level to enter, leaving only Meng Xiaolou outside. As soon as Mu Guanghan left, Meng Xiaolou's eyes suddenly changed. On the other hand, Nan Yan and Ji Yang nestled together on a tree, with Nan Yan telling him about how they met years ago. This reminded Ji Yang of Senluo's dying warning. He felt greedy wanting to stay with Nan Yan but knew he couldn't.

Upon seeing Mu Guanghan appear, the Earth Spirit quickly notified Ji Yang. After settling the sleeping Nan Yan, Ji Yang personally appeared and met with Mu Guanghan. However, Mu Guanghan couldn't understand what Ji Yang was saying. Just as he was about to act, he felt someone absorbing his spiritual energy, mistakenly thinking it was Ji Yang's accomplice.

It wasn't until the Earth Spirit arrived and informed him that something had happened at the Mountain Sea Grand Hall that Ji Yang had to leave first. Everyone gathered their spiritual power to resist the barrier breaking. Ji Yang rushed to the Mountain Sea Grand Hall, only to find that it was actually Meng Xiaolou causing trouble in the dark.

At this moment, Nan Rao walked out of the Yanlun Marrow Mirror, but it was discovered that Nan Rao's memory was stuck a hundred years ago, which deeply shocked Mu Guanghan. Ji Yang suddenly realized, finally understanding that Meng Xiaolou risked taking lives and harming others just to perform the Soul-Returning forbidden technique to resurrect Nan Rao.

Although Mu Guanghan repeatedly urged Meng Xiaolou to stop in time, Meng Xiaolou went his own way, feeling resentful about giving his heart to Nan Rao and dying. He would rather fall into the Ninefold Demonic Path to bring Nan Rao back. Meng Xiaolou walked up to Nan Rao and asked her if she remembered the promise to accompany him to Tian Qiao Peak to see the frost fireflies in the first snow.

A hundred years ago, Meng Xiaolou was fond of Nan Rao and confessed his feelings to her, but Nan Rao said her heart belonged to someone else and subtly refused Meng Xiaolou's invitation. Now, Meng Xiaolou brought up the past again, wishing to take Nan Rao away. Nan Rao gave the same answer, hoping he would treat everything as a dream. After speaking, she turned and returned to the Yanlun Marrow Mirror.

At the same time, Ying Zewei looked at the moon and thought of his old acquaintance, recalling the process of meeting and falling in love with Nan Rao. Meng Xiaolou knew it was an illusion but remained infatuated, believing it was due to insufficient spiritual power. He didn't hesitate to reverse time and defy destiny, disregarding all living beings.

Therefore, Mu Guanghan wanted to stop Meng Xiaolou from making the same mistake repeatedly, but was severely injured by the other party. At the critical moment, he planted a Twin-Life Talisman on Meng Xiaolou, hoping Ji Yang would kill him. Only by doing so could he perish together with Meng Xiaolou. This action was for the sake of the five continents and their people. Although Ji Yang felt reluctant, he knew this was the only way at the moment.

Finally, he had no choice but to hold the sword and stab Mu Guanghan. Meng Xiaolou suffered the same severe injury. Before his death, Mu Guanghan praised Ji Yang and declared that he was definitely not Shura reborn. He then entrusted Mu Zhanting and Nan Yan to his care. Ji Yang felt unbearable pain and pleaded with Mu Guanghan to wait for Mu Zhanting, but Mu Guanghan's breath was weak.

He told him to prepare a dowry for Nan Yan and to give the Suzaku Ming Xiao Dress to her on his behalf. With those words, Mu Guanghan closed his eyes. Meng Xiaolou, filled with unwillingness, crawled towards the Blood Phoenix Hairpin, and finally, within reach, he breathed his last. As soon as Ji Yang pulled out the sword, Mu Zhanting and the others rushed over.

Mu Zhanting held his father's body, heartbroken, and questioned Ji Yang why he did this. Fu Lang immediately spotted the Yanlun Marrow Mirror and walked straight towards it. Ji Yang and Nan Yan followed suit. Originally, Mu Zhanting also wanted to go in, but Master Chikou appeared and reminded him that he could not enter. Despite this, Mu Zhanting insisted on entering to bring Mu Guanghan back, resulting in Master Chikou knocking him out.

Now the mountain sea barrier was already on the verge of collapse, Master Chikou had to find another way. Ji Yang returned to a hundred years ago when he ascended to enlightenment, discovering he was wearing the disciple robe of Dao Sheng Tian. Zhu Sui saw him but didn't recognize him, while Ying Zewei was being conferred the title of Xuan Zai.

Major figures from the cultivation world gathered, including Mu Guanghan, Meng Xiaolou, the Nan Rao siblings, and Master Chikou. Nan Rao sensed someone had infiltrated and claimed she was lazy and wouldn't attend. After the others left, she immediately called out Ji Yang, who was hiding nearby.

Episode 32 Recap

Meng Xiaolou summoned Nan Rao's consciousness from the Yanlun Marrow Mirror. For Nan Rao a hundred years ago, it was like suddenly entering a dream in Dao Tian Hall, and she was somewhat familiar with Ji Yang. Ji Yang directly stated his purpose, telling her that her demonic heart was also lost, and she needed to be careful of her surroundings and protect herself to prevent being ambushed.

However, Nan Rao seemed not to take his words seriously, but she actually understood in her heart. Instead, she calculated that he had a fated entanglement with her daughter Nan Yan. Ji Yang finally understood that Nan Rao had known about his existence long ago through The Seal OF Romance. As soon as he finished speaking, someone suddenly came looking for Nan Rao, and Ji Yang had to cast a spell to hide.

On the other hand, Nan Yan, who entered Dao Sheng Tian a hundred years ago, was actually assigned as a disciple to pour wine for Ying Zewei and the others. No one else noticed Nan Yan's peculiarity, only Master Chikou seemed to sense it. Coincidentally, Meng Xiaolou didn't come. Everyone guessed he went to find Nan Rao, and Master Chikou told him to bring Meng Xiaolou back.

Nan Yan found Nan Rao's residence using a magical artifact and happened to see Meng Xiaolou standing outside the door professing his love to Nan Rao. At this moment, Nan Rao was lying on a tree, saw Nan Yan, and signaled her not to make a sound yet. Nan Yan understood and found an excuse to send Meng Xiaolou away. After Meng Xiaolou left, Nan Yan immediately stepped forward and hugged Nan Rao.

Although Nan Rao at this moment had not yet given birth to Nan Yan, she knew about her life a hundred years later from Ji Yang's narration. Because of this, Nan Rao felt very familiar with Nan Yan as soon as she saw her. Thinking of Ji Yang's words, she was certain that this was her daughter from a hundred years later. The reunion of mother and daughter made Nan Yan shed tears of excitement.

Nan Rao, on the other hand, grew more and more fond of this daughter and couldn't bear to see her sad and crying. Nan Rao asked Nan Yan if she had been bullied. Nan Yan shook her head and asked in return what should be done if the person one loved went berserk and couldn't turn back. To her surprise, Nan Rao directly said to kiss the other person, and if that didn't work, kiss them hard.

Listening to her mother's words, Nan Yan burst into laughter through her tears and said that she had come here through the Yanlun Marrow Mirror. Nan Rao guessed that the reason Nan Yan came was probably that she had passed away a hundred years later. She had also long calculated her own destiny, because the Nirvana Demonic Heart is immortal and indestructible.

Everyone in the cultivation world seeks eternal life, and only this heart can break free from the cycle of life and death, making it inevitable to be contended for. Originally, Nan Rao found Master Chikou and asked if she could defy heaven and change her fate, but was told that if she forced it, she would suffer a backlash, and anyone who overturned life and death would inevitably fail.

Nan Yan wanted to save her mother, but Nan Rao advised Nan Yan to let go of past events after returning and to definitely stay away from the conflicts in the cultivation world. After speaking, she confined her in place and told her to live the life of an ordinary person. Afterward, Nan Rao personally went to find Ying Zewei and presented him with a token of love, the "Nine-Eyed Seven-Star Jade".

Its meaning was self-evident, making Ying Zewei very happy. The two were deeply in love and secretly pledged their lives to each other that night, consummating their relationship. Not long after, Ying Zewei came to see Nan Rao again, curious as to why she was becoming increasingly sleepy, and proposed to marry her. Under Ying Zewei's affectionate confession, Nan Rao reminded him that if he was good to her and their daughter, he should agree, which greatly shocked Ying Zewei.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Ying Zewei from a hundred years later entered the Yanlun Marrow Mirror and was very surprised to learn that he and Nan Rao had a daughter. Similarly, Nan Rao told him about cultivating the Nirvana Demonic Heart, fearing that she might lose her heart as predicted. Just as Ying Zewei was wondering why Nan Yan had entered the Yanlun Marrow Mirror, Nan Rao was greatly startled upon hearing this.

She realized that he was Ying Zewei from a hundred years later and also discovered the Heart-Urging Curse in his palm. The so-called Heart-Urging Curse is an incredibly cruel Bone-Eating Blood Curse, which can only be planted by someone who loves and hates deeply. This meant that this curse was planted by Nan Rao on Ying Zewei. Thinking of this, Nan Rao guessed that the person who dug out her heart was Ying Zewei, and she felt disappointed and heartbroken.

Ying Zewei wanted to confine Nan Rao, but as a result, the Heart-Urging Curse planted by Ying Zewei on him flared up again. He became enraged and dug out the Nirvana Demonic Heart. Originally, Ji Yang wanted to stop him but failed. He hurriedly went after the other party. Master Chikou and Nan Yan rushed over and saw Nan Rao, who had tragically lost her demonic heart, lying on the ground. Ying Zewei wanted to seize the Yanlun Marrow Mirror.

To stop Ying Zewei, Ji Yang killed him with a single sword strike. Once Ji Yang successfully seized the Yanlun Marrow Mirror, he instantly regained all his memories and knew that it was Ying Zewei who had dug out his heart back then, and he had painstakingly searched for the seven fu for him, feeling a mix of emotions. The next second, Ying Zewei resurrected due to the Nirvana Demonic Heart; he was immortal and indestructible. He revealed that Meng Xiaolou was instigated by him.

Episode 33 Recap

Back then, Ying Zewei seized the Six Harmony Dao Heart, making Ji Yang think his master had suffered qi deviation while cultivating. To protect his master's lifelong reputation, he willingly admitted to the sin of blood sacrificing fellow disciples to cultivate demonic art, wholeheartedly wishing to purify him. Who knew he was actually being used. Until this day, Ji Yang learned that his parents were killed by Ying Zewei.

Ying Zewei neither confirmed nor denied it, and the master and disciple became life-and-death adversaries. Finally, Ji Yang fought with Ying Zewei and seized a realm. Nan Yan saw the tacit understanding around Ji Yang and questioned if he wanted everyone to die for him. Ji Yang coldly responded that the souls of the world would eventually be controlled by him. Immediately afterwards, he walked towards Nan Yan, believing she also belonged to him.

As the Yanlun Marrow Mirror shattered, Nan Yan woke up from the nightmare and found herself in Dao Sheng Tian. Through Mo Xingzheng, she learned she had been brought back by Ying Zewei. Meanwhile, on the other side, Li Chi seized Fu Lang's body and exposed Ying Zewei's conspiracy. Ying Zewei threatened him to continue working for him, promising to let him and Li Jin have a way out as long as he destroyed Ji Yang.

Zhu Sui brought people to the Dharma assembly to pay respects. Mu Zhanting was heavily drunk because of his father's death. Nan Yan took the initiative to find Ying Zewei, curious about his relationship with her mother. She recalled the painting among her mother's relics and was subsequently told by Ying Zewei that he was her biological father. Because of this, Nan Yan was greatly shocked.

Ying Zewei stated frankly that he had already given engagement gifts to Nan Rao back then, but because Nan Yi suddenly had an accident, they could not get married due to various sudden circumstances. Nan Yan guessed that the old friend her uncle was going to meet was Ying Zewei. But Ying Zewei lied claiming he had never seen Nan Yi and further framed Ji Yang for digging out Nan Rao's Nirvana Demonic Heart.

In order to make Nan Yan believe, Ying Zewei claimed he saw it himself. He guessed that Ji Yang was at Yinzhu's lair and seized the heart when Nan Rao was reinforcing the seal. Therefore, Ji Yang gained this opportunity and was reborn a hundred years later. Ying Zewei deliberately showed a guilty look for failing to save Nan Rao. Hearing this, Nan Yan was extremely sad. Afterwards, Ying Zewei brought Nan Yan to mourn Mu Guanghan and Meng Xiaolou.

Mu Zhanting saw them coming together and was puzzled and surprised in his heart. At the same time, Ji Yang and Yin Ya kowtowed and paid respects to Mu Guanghan on a nearby mountain. Yin Ya sighed that loved ones had become enemies and brothers had turned against each other, which was truly painful for those close and joyful for enemies.

Master Chikou observed the celestial phenomena and sighed that old friends were leaving one after another, and he himself only had a hundred years of lifespan left. If what is outside of heaven is truly just emptiness, and the end of the path to immortality is just waiting for death in the mortal world, why would cultivators still embark on this long cultivation journey. In the mirror flashed images of Ji Yang, Nan Yan, Yin Ya, Mu Zhanting, and others.

When it stopped on Nan Yan at this moment, Master Chikou suddenly realized: Those with good karma can attain enlightenment and jump out of all the great daos of the heavens to ascend beyond the current reality. After Ying Zewei brought Nan Yan back to Dao Sheng Tian, he announced to the public that Nan Yan was his biological daughter and showed that she had the Mountain Sea Seal, signifying she was the next new Emperor.

Mu Zhanting could not believe it, but gradually recognized Nan Yan's true identity. He vowed to make Ji Yang pay a blood debt with blood. Everyone successively urged the new Emperor to issue a cultivation world joint crusade order to crusade against Reborn Sen Luo Ji Yang, making Nan Yan have to accept the Demon Crusade Order.

A few days later, Ji Yang became the demonic figure hunted by the major sects, and Yin Ya brought him back to the Lunar Sect. At this moment, the Lunar Sect was already overgrown with weeds and had been abandoned for a long time. Yin Ya was surprised that Ji Yang had completely recovered his memory and was very happy about it.

Ji Yang cast a spell to plant flowers at Nan Yan's residence, seeing the place reminded him of the person. That night, Mo Xingzheng brought Nan Yan to visit Dao Sheng Tian. When mentioning Ji Yang, he expressed that he did not believe he would fall into demonization and kill people, and hoped that Nan Yan and Ji Yang could sit down and have a good talk.

Although Nan Yan also wanted to believe Ji Yang, she didn't know what reason to use. Mo Xingzheng's persuasion was without result, so he brought Nan Yan to Shao Cang's former residence and left. Nan Yan entered the room. The arrangement around her made her feel like she was within it, as if seeing that spirited and vigorous Emperor Shao Cang from back then. She could not help but burst into tears.

Episode 34 Recap

Ji Yang found a wooden carving of his pet Xiang Xiang in the room, recalling the past with sadness in his heart. He lamented that if she were here, the struggles in this life, though painful, would be bearable. Without her, even if he could control life and death in the Underworld with a flick of his hand, his heart's craving would still be incurable. Seeing this, Yin Ya found it difficult to say more.

He asked Ji Yang what he planned to do since he hadn't seen Nan Yan in days. Ji Yang stated he would lure the snake out of its hole. Mu Zhanting sat in the courtyard drowning his sorrows with alcohol, missing his deceased father. Seeing Nan Yan come over, he suddenly threw out a question, wanting to know if she truly wanted to be the Emperor. Nan Yan shook her head.

Mu Zhanting gave a bitter smile, saying he didn't want to be the Dragon Lord either, but most of the time he was powerless. To prevent Mu Zhanting from becoming listless, Nan Yan comforted him before revealing a secret and taking out a silver jiao bead, wanting him to help her with something. The next day, Ji Yang suddenly appeared on the Whale Boat, terrifying everyone who fled in panic, instantly turning the Whale Boat into an empty city.

Ying Zewei guessed that Ji Yang's grand display was clearly a deliberate trap. He decided to personally go and investigate the situation, instructing Nan Yan, Mu Zhanting, and the others not to act rashly. Before the confrontation, Ying Zewei asked him if he could answer a doubt in his heart: why, despite Nan Yan acknowledging him as her father, she still refused to call him father. Ji Yang believed that Nan Yan naturally had her reasons for doing so.

However, Ying Zewei felt that Ji Yang had deliberately told Nan Yan things that led to the estrangement between father and daughter. Subsequently, the two engaged in a fierce fight, with demonic energy surrounding the Whale Boat. Nan Yan, Mu Zhanting, and the others struggled to break through the demonic energy barrier. As a result, Mu Zhanting accidentally almost burned Yin Ya.

On the other hand, Ying Zewei attempted to absorb the Yinzhu power within Ji Yang but was suddenly struck down by Ji Yang. Just then, Nan Yan and the others arrived, and Ji Yang immediately stopped. Mu Zhanting accused Ji Yang of making one mistake after another and then moved to attack him. Seeing this, Ji Yang left.

Seeing that Ying Zewei had finished healing his injuries, Nan Yan called him father with concern, which greatly relieved Ying Zewei, happy that Nan Yan had finally acknowledged him. Nan Yan said that she had never blamed Ying Zewei, but that blood relatives needed some time to get along. She also voluntarily brought up the details of how Nan Rao had raised her.

Ying Zewei instructed Nan Yan to seek protection from Master Chikou, because Sen Luo would overthrow the cultivation world and was bound to kill all Deity Transformation cultivators. He worried that he might not survive this ordeal. Hearing Ying Zewei's words, Nan Yan finally understood why Ji Yang had attacked Mu Guanghan and Meng Xiaolou. This made her even less willing to abandon her relatives and leave alone.

Moreover, she possessed the Seven Sins Manual, which might indicate it was her destiny. Now that Ying Zewei's injuries were no longer serious, Nan Yan went out to meet Mu Zhanting and joined them to observe the Red Emperor's Expedition Map and comprehend the demon-slaying secret method. On the surface, it seemed like just a blank paper, requiring concentrated study.

To ensure that Mu Zhanting's mind would not be harmed, Nan Yan and her party stayed to protect him during his cultivation. """ Yin Ya brought Ji Yang to find Master Chikou. Ji Yang thus learned that Ying Zewei was collecting the Five Hells because he wanted to become a true god. However, collecting the Five Hells was only one part; he also needed to possess the Nirvana Demonic Heart, the Six Harmony Dao Heart, and the Bone Chan Heart.

The Three Hearts and Five Hells could not only achieve godhood but also control the life and death cycle of all things. Upon hearing this, Ji Yang was again puzzled. The Bone Chan Heart had disappeared with the Holy Master for many years, so why was Master Chikou so uneasy? Master Chikou stated that this heart was cultivated from the Seven Sins Manual and was now in Nan Yan's body.

Because of Master Chikou's words, Ji Yang strengthened his resolve to kill Ying Zewei. Originally, Ji Yang wanted to tell Nan Yan about this matter, but he worried that Nan Yan wouldn't believe him, so he asked Yin Ya to relay the message for him. He also said that this battle would be extremely perilous, and if anything happened to him, he hoped Yin Ya would help take care of Nan Yan.

The next day, Ji Yang single-handedly charged into Dao Sheng Tian. Nan Yan, in her capacity as Emperor, fought with him and was injured and coughed up blood. Ying Zewei appeared in time and instructed Fu Lang to take Nan Yan down to rest first, while he personally dealt with Ji Yang. Seeing this scene, Ji Yang scoffed that Ying Zewei was putting on a show of a loving father and filial daughter.

Ying Zewei told him that treating Nan Yan this way today would only make Nan Yan hate him more and more. If he were Ji Yang, he would have apologized with his death long ago. However, coming from Ying Zewei's mouth, Ji Yang mocked him for how he treated Nan Fangzhu back then and brought up the Bone Chan Heart. On the other side, Fu Lang sent Nan Yan back to her room. Mu Zhanting heard that Ji Yang had injured Nan Yan and was so angry he wanted to go and settle the score with Ji Yang.

Yin Ya brought Ji Yang to find Master Chikou. Ji Yang thus learned that Ying Zewei was collecting the Five Hells because he wanted to become a true god.

""" Ji Yang determined that Ying Zewei successively seized the Demonic Heart and the Dao Heart and kept Nan Yan by his side, believing that only through her could he obtain the opportunity to possess the Bone Chan Heart and achieve his greedy desire to ascend beyond the mortal realm and control the cycle of reincarnation. In addition, Ji Yang possessed evidence of Ying Zewei murdering his master and killing his kin.

Because Ying Zewei's act of killing his kin was discovered by the Dao Venerable, he was ordered to hand over the position of Emperor. Unexpectedly, he actually ruthlessly attacked the Dao Venerable. Although Ying Zewei held one of the Hells' Yin Zhu back then, the backlash from the Yin Zhu was extremely strong, and with his cultivation, it was difficult to stop. He had to set up a demon-sealing formation, mainly to absorb spiritual energy.

As expected, Ying Zewei was exposed, became furious and ashamed, and fought against Ji Yang again. He also tampered with the Dao Jade, thereby extracting the Yin Zhu power from the other party's body. Just as Ying Zewei was feeling triumphant, he suddenly realized that Ji Yang had demon-suppressing nails in his body. It turned out that Master Chikou had discovered this earlier and had Ji Yang prepare in advance.

Ying Zewei was certain that Ji Yang wouldn't dare to kill him, otherwise Daosheng Tian and all the sects in the world would not let him go. As soon as he finished speaking, Nan Yan descended from the sky, standing beside Ji Yang as if she had already understood everything. All along, Nan Yan had never doubted Ji Yang.

In order to find the real culprit who dug out the hearts, she simply pretended to break ties with Ji Yang and secretly investigated with Mu Zhanting. Mu Zhanting suspected that Ji Yang killing Mu Guanghan was also suspicious, but Nan Yan had already issued the demon-slaying order, so he simply went along with the plan, deliberately arguing with Nan Yan in public, severing their ties as sworn siblings, attracting the attention of others.

Afterwards, Mu Zhanting pretended to be crazy and foolish and snuck into the dungeon, successfully finding Nan Yi and learning the truth about Nan Rao's death. It was precisely because Nan Yi discovered this secret that he was imprisoned by Ying Zewei. Mu Zhanting immediately rescued him, reunited with Nan Yan and the others, and told Mo Xingzheng and his group the whole story. Seeing Ying Zewei becoming possessed and stubbornly unrepentant, Nan Yan was utterly disappointed.

This man who repeatedly claimed to love Nan Rao, whose true identity was the Lord of the Underworld, had been lurking in Daosheng Tian plotting everything. Nan Yan asked Ying Zewei if he had ever felt a moment of affection for Nan Rao and wanted to spare her life. Ying Zewei did not deny it, saying that if he hadn't been too arrogant back then, how could he have developed worldly feelings for her?

He clearly had the intention to kill her, but because she promised her life to him, he once again felt compassion. Ying Zewei told Nan Yan that he was driven by his inner demons and lost himself, having no other choice but to kill Nan Rao. However, these words, when heard by Nan Yan, were all excuses, and she truly felt it was not worth it for her mother. Because of this, Nan Yan decided to avenge her loved ones.

Ying Zewei looked disdainful upon hearing this and did not believe they could kill him. Just at this moment, Mu Zhanting and Yin Ya hurried over and stood together with Nan Yan and Ji Yang. The four of them joined forces to fight against Ying Zewei, but Ying Zewei's cultivation was powerful, and they were no match at all. On the other side, Zhu Sui led his disciples to surround Li Chi, vowing to capture him.

Li Jin appeared in time with the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl, falsely claiming that Nan Yan was dead, tricking him into lowering his guard and sealing his acupoints. Li Jin wanted to use the Silver Flood Dragon Pearl to help Li Chi transcend the demonic state, but Zhu Sui suddenly attacked. She did not hesitate to block in front of him, becoming critically wounded.

At the time of her death, Li Jin begged her brother to return to the right path. Li Chi stated that there was no longer any possibility for him in this life. After saying this, he transferred all his demonic power to Li Jin and then turned into ashes. Those present were slightly moved by the sight.

Nan Yan fought with Ying Zewei and regained the Six Harmony Dao Heart and the Nirvana Demonic Heart, declaring that even the Bone Chan Heart was something he shouldn't even dream of obtaining. Seeing that the outcome was decided, Ying Zewei, abandoning all hope, decided to perish together with everyone. Unexpectedly, Ji Yang suddenly broke free from his restraints, killed him directly, and retrieved the last of the Hells.

It was precisely because of this that Ji Yang completely lost his mind and violently attacked Nan Yan. At the crucial moment, Nan Yan remembered her mother's words and actively kissed him, making him regain his senses.

Episode 36 (Ending) Recap

After everyone dealt with Ying Zewei and returned to Chou Shan Fan Hai, they unexpectedly learned that the power of Yin Zhu would erupt again. Nan Yan sought a solution from the Ascetic Master, but the Ascetic Master's face was solemn, stating that once Ji Yang was completely corrupted by demonic energy, he would be no different from Ying Zewei. Three days later, a blood moon would appear in the sky.

When the blood moon was completely consumed, the demonic star would descend, and the Five Continents would suffer a heavenly tribulation. The only way was for Nan Yan to personally kill Ji Yang to ensure that Sen Luo would not reappear in the human realm. However, Nan Yan was completely unable to agree to this method, unable to bear killing her beloved with her own hands. Ji Yang woke up and saw Nan Yan weeping alone on the bridge.

He proactively apologized for his uncontrolled actions that hurt her. But Nan Yan didn't mind at all, as long as he could come back. The two snuggled together and watched the moon. Ji Yang told Nan Yan that he didn't care how much time he had left; he only cared about Nan Yan, hoping that every year during the Lantern Festival, she could light a lantern for him.

As a result, Nan Yan secretly vowed to spend the three days with Ji Yang doing everything in the mundane world, transforming into ordinary people with him, walking hand in hand on the street. Seeing a ring toss game on the street, Ji Yang showed off his skills, winning everything for Nan Yan and the children around them, which greatly displeased the owner. Before the owner got angry, Ji Yang secretly took Nan Yan away.

They walked from day to night, buying many things along the way, and sat together to draw portraits. Afterwards, Nan Yan sat in the pavilion, watching the scenery and drinking wine. Ji Yang gave Nan Yan the scorpion pet wood carving, which filled Nan Yan with both surprise and joy. Only then did she realize that he had regained all his memories. She cried and hugged him, making a promise of marriage.

Afterwards, the two decorated a room at the Lunar Sect as their bridal chamber, bowed to heaven and earth together, and drank wedding wine from crossed cups.

On their wedding night, Nan Yan prayed to the ancient gods in her heart, wishing that since she began cultivating, her only desire was to save people, save demons, save all living beings, to experience the six desires and seven emotions, and enjoy human happiness, in exchange for Ji Yang never becoming a demon. Ji Yang personally combed Nan Yan's hair, drew her eyebrows, and they gazed deeply into each other's eyes.

Nan Yan personally broke the wooden comb in half, giving the other half to Ji Yang, and promised to stay together in life and death. If she couldn't guide him to the path of good in this life, she would definitely find him with their marriage promise in the next life. Ji Yang looked at Nan Yan and quietly agreed.

Meanwhile, on the other side, the Ascetic Master observed the celestial phenomena and grew increasingly uneasy, stating frankly that the heavenly tribulation was imminent and no one could escape it. Three days later, the blood moon hung in the sky. Nan Yan and Ji Yang engaged in a great battle. Mu Zhanting and Yin Ya and others could only watch this scene with their own eyes, powerless. Finally, the Emperor Shao Cang turned to dust and vanished.

Nan Yan did not hesitate to exhaust her cultivation, destroying her three hearts. All for one person, she resurrected from death with a Phoenix Demon Heart, solidified her foundation with a Brahma Bone Zen Heart, and cleansed away demonic energy with a Six Harmonies Dao Heart. After this, heaven and earth fell silent. Nan Yan was left alone, returning to her old home, quietly waiting for his return. In the blink of an eye, three years passed.

It was the Mid-Autumn Festival. Nan Yan prepared a hot pot and waited for Mu Zhanting and Yin Ya to gather together. Now Yin Ya had succeeded as the Demon Emperor, his affairs were busy, but he would still take the time to find Nan Yan. Mu Zhanting and Yun Nian had a child after getting married. He was still immersed in poetry and brought Nan Yan a new collection of poems.

Nan Yan saw the poetry collection and thought of Ji Yang, feeling sad. Seeing this, Mu Zhanting and Yin Ya hurriedly changed the subject and raised their cups to drink. After eating, Nan Yan went to the market alone. Suddenly, she heard a familiar voice. When she turned around, she saw a disciple of a cultivation sect whose appearance closely resembled Ji Yang. The Seal OF Romance appeared on both their palms simultaneously. They stood together under an umbrella, looking at each other and smiling.
