Ding Xian even planned to turn her love story with Zhou Siyue into a comic for everyone to see. During the holidays, Ding Xian took Zhou Siyue home with her. Her parents were surprised to see Zhou Siyue but delighted that he was coming to spend the New Year with them. They really liked him and prepared a lavish meal to welcome them.

During dinner, her mother told Zhou Siyue to keep an eye on Ding Xian and not let her focus too much on romance. Later, Zhou Siyue and Ding Xian discussed coming clean with her family. Just then, her mom saw a picture of a girl in early puppy love on Ding Juncong’s phone. The mothers threatened to beat him, and the frightened teen quickly begged Zhou Siyue for help, even calling him “brother-in-law,” which made Zhou Siyue very happy.

He agreed to tutor Ding Juncong so that his grades wouldn’t drop because of young love. Zhou Siyue wanted to return to his place in Deep Sea City, so he and Ding Xian went to clean up the apartment. While they were hugging, Ding Xian’s mom arrived to deliver some bedding. The two quickly pulled apart. After returning home, her mom sensed something was off and called Ding Juncong over for answers.

Under pressure, Ding Juncong admitted everything—Zhou Siyue was Ding Xian’s sweetheart. Her mom was shocked. Her dad, upon learning they were dating, warned Ding Xian to be prepared for her mom’s reaction. He approved of Zhou Siyue but suggested she win over her mom first. The next day, her mom’s attitude changed—she prepared only a simple breakfast with not even a single vegetable. Her dad and brother sensed trouble and quickly fled.

Her mom demanded they come clean, so Zhou Siyue and Ding Xian confessed. Her mom was angry that Ding Xian didn’t tell her sooner, especially since Zhou Siyue was such an outstanding young man. Hearing this, both of them were thrilled. They hadn’t expected her to approve of their relationship. Zhou Siyue was about to go home for the New Year. Ding Xian went to see him off, reluctant to part. She hugged him tightly, unwilling to let go.

After Zhou Siyue returned home, his mom told him that his father’s condition was not stable, which made him very worried. Kong Shadi and Song Ziqi went to visit Ding Xian. Unexpectedly, Jiang Chen and You Keke came along too. The group chatted about their current love lives. Upon learning that Ding Xian and Zhou Siyue had only kissed so far, they were surprised.

They decided to give her a makeover and dressed her up like a mature woman. When Zhou Siyue saw her, he told her to take care of her health and not to dress too lightly, or she might get arthritis. This made Ding Xian even more disappointed. Zhou Siyue quickly caught up to her and explained he was only teasing. He kissed her, and they finally entered a more mature phase in their relationship. They played until late before returning.

Zhou Siyue walked Ding Xian to her dorm, reluctant to say goodbye. But fate had its way—the dorm was already locked. So Zhou Siyue took Ding Xian back to his apartment for the night.
