Wen Di was working late alone in Immediate Flight’s conference room when Chang Jianxiong unexpectedly appeared. Surprised by his presence, Wen Di learned that Chang Jianxiong had a new project proposal he wanted her to review and technical questions he hoped Nan Qiao could discuss with them. Wen Di saw through his pretense, realizing he merely wanted to see Nan Qiao. She playfully reminded him that it was holiday time, not for overtime, and their teacher-disciple relationship had ended.
She then suggested they go out for some fun instead. Chang Jianxiong’s spirits lifted, and he boasted that when it came to having fun, she should call him Master. Meanwhile, Nan Qin was struggling to find a suitable photo of herself and her husband for his research institute's assessment. She had searched through all their albums but could only find their wedding photo. Nan Qiao chuckled, asking if she truly intended to submit a wedding photo.
Nan Qin confessed that apart from the picture on their marriage certificate, this was the only photo that proved they were a married couple. Nan Qiao tried to comfort her, saying their son, Zheng Hao, was the true proof of their relationship. Nan Qin recalled how, when they were young, her husband had called her his most trusted companion, words she once considered the sweetest romantic gesture.
Now, the thought of their relationship being merely that of "companions" suffocated her heart. Nan Qiao gently suggested it wasn't too late to realize this. Nan Qin, attempting to divert the conversation, brought up Chang Jianxiong again, trying to persuade Nan Qiao to accept him. Nan Qiao, however, stated that her relationship with Chang Jianxiong was one of the "most trusted companions."
Hearing this, Nan Qin immediately expressed concern, warning her that such a relationship would not last and she shouldn't follow her old path. Seeing Nan Qin’s distress over the lack of photos, Nan Qiao agreed to help her digitally combine two separate pictures. Chang Jianxiong and Wen Di arrived at an arcade, opting to play a motorcycle racing game. Chang Jianxiong was adept, but Wen Di struggled, crashing repeatedly.
Wen Di observed that Chang Jianxiong was acting unusually; instead of spending his vacation with Nan Qiao, he had sought her out, suggesting he had something on his mind. Chang Jianxiong admitted that his relationship with Nan Qiao was now the same as Wen Di’s – merely a friend. He frankly stated that he had given up on Nan Qiao since his teacher-disciple relationship with Wen Di ended.
He confessed to feeling guilt, though he was unsure if it was more towards Shi Yue or Nan Qiao. Wen Di solemnly reassured him that it was "all right," asserting that she would never let a past mistake define him. Chang Jianxiong then shared that he had long waited for Nan Qiao to say "it's all right," but she hadn't. Wen Di explained that given Nan Qiao's personality, those words didn't need to be spoken.
She comforted him, saying that life is a continuous cycle of starting over. Grateful for her guidance, Chang Jianxiong continued to enjoy the arcade with her. That night, Nan Qiao returned home, her mind replaying the scenes from the recent TV interview. Memories involving Shi Yue flooded her, leaving her with a heavy heart.
The next day, she visited the Genius Flying Club, where the Club Leader advised her that while stopping to think was good, some matters couldn't be resolved by merely pausing. Nan Qiao shared that she now felt it was a good thing their collaboration with VIV hadn’t succeeded, as she always desired complete technological autonomy – "Chinese heart, China made" – to retain full control. The Club Leader praised her ambition and foresight, calling her his excellent disciple.
As children happily played on the club's grounds, Nan Qiao found their joy healing. A disguised reporter approached her, but Nan Qiao immediately recognized him. She calmly told the reporter that business competition was normal, she had her own ways of coping, and she wasn't skilled at acting or making up stories for media attention. Suddenly, the Club Leader received an urgent call and rushed off, with Nan Qiao following anxiously.
It turned out that Wings' new product launch was scheduled at the club, and An Jie’s subordinates had unilaterally begun removing the club’s exhibits. The Club Leader was furious, insisting that he had the final say. However, An Jie’s subordinate defiantly stated that if the leader didn't move them, he would. At this point, Nan Qiao intervened, offering to remove the exhibits herself. The Club Leader then immediately instructed someone to fetch Shi Yue.
Shi Yue was in his office discussing launch preparations with Hao Jie, who commented on Shi Yue's seeming "multiple personalities" – watching Nan Qiao while fiercely competing with Immediate Flight. Shi Yue ignored him. Hao Jie then received a call informing him about the situation at the club and Nan Qiao's presence. Shi Yue decided to handle it personally.
Hao Jie cautioned him to be careful of Immediate Flight’s employees, but Shi Yue confidently stated that Hao Jie didn’t understand adult love, where even after a breakup, people could still be friends. Shi Yue hurried to the club, but Nan Qiao had already cleared the entire display area. As she prepared to leave, the Club Leader urgently noted that one exhibit was missing. Nan Qiao insisted she had packed everything and reiterated her intent to leave.
The Club Leader stopped her, urging her to speak with Shi Yue. Nan Qiao replied that she had nothing to say to him and turned to depart. Due to a water outage at home, Wen Di planned to relax at the office with a face mask and a drama, but she found herself constantly drawn back to work. Chang Jianxiong arrived with supplements, telling her not to bother pretending to be a superwoman in front of him.
Wen Di, feeling anxious from idleness, suggested they go out again, but Chang Jianxiong quickly left after delivering the items, frustrating Wen Di, who grumbled about his "straight guy cancer." Back at his company, Shi Yue reviewed drone aerial footage he had sent to Hao Jie and discovered that a child named Xiao Si had stolen the missing drone from the flying club. He then used a drone to deliver the video footage to Nan Qiao's home.
After watching the video and realizing Xiao Si was the culprit, Nan Qiao found the boy and asked him to return the drone. Xiao Si, however, denied stealing it, declared he wouldn't return it even if it was Nan Qiao's, and ran off. Nan Qiao pursued him, only to discover that Xiao Si had taken the drone to perform flying maneuvers for a physically challenged girl named Xiao Tao.
